The size and shape are delightfully complementary for holding the sauce, tender bits, sweet tiny spicy. Huge servings. Split with my Guy. Would be perfect for family of momdadchild, or for two friends having a go lunch. Must have white rice not fried to get the full gastronomic experience. The white rice just puts out the fire like no other. Always nice! For years now! Had other dishes never disliked any food from here. I'm picky about my soups. I love all of the soups here and trust me when I say I've had them all. So when your in the neighborhood and your thinking Sakura for$50 try Super Wok for much more! under $30 is a massive spread no frills no wait no bs

I'm guessing if you called in an order and explained mobility issues that they would be glad to run food out front door.and just pulled up to front door.(I haven't actually asked so...) common practice for pick up is to pull up to front door hop out grab food come back out, leave. So I bet they wouldn't mind helping a fellow human.

I have never had a bad meal from Super Wok. I've always loved Chinese takeout, and after moving down South from the North, one can definitely notice the "difference" in the flavors, spices, and sauces that Chinese takeout restaurants use. When it comes to the takeout down here, I've always felt like it doesn't really stand up to the takeout I'm used to from New Jersey, but Super Wok stands up & shines out. It may seem like a little "hole-in-the-wall", but the food here is great, as well as the location. Central to Hermitage, but also close distance to BNA & Donelson. You'll find dishes that you're used to, (General Tso Chicken, Sesame Chicken, Mongolian Beef, Chicken Lo Mein, Boneless Spare Ribs, etc) and some excellent premium dishes as well, my personal favorite being the Dragon & Phoenix, as well as the Kung Pao Chicken. The staff is always very nice & knowledgeable about what they cook. The only complaint is I wish they would actually give with the extra chopsticks when you ask for them, haha. 9.5/10 "An Unexpected & Surprising Chinese Experience"

This is not the place to order delivery from. I very rarely rate a place, but the person over the phone was so rude I felt it was necessary to rate this establishment. First, the female answering the phone did not greet me in a kind manner. Instead she said "hello what do you want?!" I am a manager of a hotel and we always tell our associates to answer the phone with a smile in your voice. This lady clearly needs to learn appropriate phone etiquette. Second, while I attempted to be pleasant in ordering my food this woman continued to be short and rude with her responses. Finally, this was such bad customer service that I hung up the phone in the middle of my order. I will never be ordering from this place again and I highly recommend that anyone reading this review so the same.

We honestly have a more preferred Chinese place we go to but when we are being lazy and don't want to leave the house we order from this place because they deliver. The only amazing thing I've had thus far is the chicken lo mein. I have to admit it's the best I've had in a very long time. Just be wary of what you order especially if using an online menu. Recently we ordered and asked for the garlic sauce to be added to an entree and it turned out to be spicy. They corrected the issue however gave us a very hard time. We saw Garlic chicken on the menu and there wasn't a spicy indicator next to it. definitly not the best place in the world by an stretch of the imagination but when you want a quick delivered meal you can find something you'll enjoy

I love this restaurant. I've been coming there since I was a kid and it has a special place in my heart. Nothing has changed in 15 years - pretty sure the contents of the gumball machines are even the same. Everything is exactly what you would expect from a small Chinese takeout place. The steamed dumplings are incredible, I could eat like 20. The wonton soup is more flavorful than at most other places. Special shout out also to the sweet and sour chicken, it's always fried perfectly. I'd give them 10 stars if I could, I love super wok.

I was craving chinese food and I had just moved to TN... it was 2012... I walked into this some-what dirty looking place with water dripping from a roof into a bucket on the floor... I tried to give the benefit of a doubt though I was not pleased at all with the inside.... I placed an order, walked to the restroom where I saw a couple of dead roaches by the toilet... That just killed it for me... I walked straight out.... I will NEVER eat there! I don't believe Hermitage has any great chinese places but we do have a couple great Japanese ones.... If I want chinese then I drive to the mall...

Didn't have an issue with rudeness of phone lady but omg the food was disgusting. Crab Rangoon looked like it was made with apple butter bc it was so dark and dry, shrimp toast was soggy and raw, sesame chicken was dry with hardly any sauce, egg roll was absolutely dry and HOLLOW, lo mein tasted like cigarette smoke and chicken wings had no meat and all skin and bone. Called and spoke to lady manager who after much debate agreed to come pick up food and cancel my debit card transaction. Never again!!!

Not sure if they're under new management or what. I agree with a few other people about the young lady's phone etiquette. She was rude and rushed me for my order,granted it is CMA time and lots of people from out of town BUT... that is no reason to Jack up delivery prices. My usual $13 order (i order about once a month) is now $18.50 because of delivery charge. So be fair warned. Have your precise order established and be ready to pay a steeper price especially this weekend. 6-12-2016.

I called at 6:55 when my food suppossed to be delivered. I was told it was out for delivery. I live 4 mins away. I called them at 7:25 because food still not here. And i didn't want cold food 30 mins later. The delivery person showed up while cancelling my order. I cancelled. The right thing to do would have been to give me the food for their error in coming 1/2 late and refund me. I will never order from them again

every order we have ever gotten has been absolutely delicious. we mostly order through uber eats but have recently also picked up ourselves directly. literally the best chinese i’ve ever had and we have been searching for awhile. everyone we have introduced it to has also said it’s straight fire. definitely recommend and shocked the reviews don’t reflect yet.

I ordered the cashew chicken, and I got maybe three or four pieces of chicken, but a metric ton of carrots. The crab rangoon was very dry and dark brown...? But the best part was when I pulled a piece of metal out of my mouth. I don't know if it was an old staple, a metal shaving, or what; all I do know is that it didn't have any business being in my food. Definitely not ordering from here ever again.

Me and my girlfriend we're looking for some Chinese food for a while not knowing that this restaurant was at the corner of our neighborhood, so we decide to give it a try and honestly the food is really delicious so they have some new clients now, 100% recommend and pls don't let the bad reviews hold you from giving this family owned restaurant a try I guarantee you won't be dissapointed.

We had chicken and shrimp lo mein. The shrip, noodles, and vegstables were good, but every single bite of chicken had huge chunks of fat. It was super slimy/ chewy. The egg roles were undercooked. We asked for extra sauses, they only gave us one of each. And no fortune cookies! The man on the phone was rude. Never getting them again. The only upside was the fine dude that delivered it.

Chill place for chill people. Carryout only. I don't get the reviews. Remember people in Asia the focus is on food not service which I agree with especially when it comes to asian food. My favorites are Gen. Tso combo, Won-ton soup, and crab rangoons. Everything I have tried has been great! Love that they deliver and the delivery charge in minimal. It's best to call order in and pick it up because I don't think they have the air on up front. It's way too hot to wait in there, or just call in for delivery!

I love their "ORANGE CHICKEN" me and my brother finna come get sum around 7pm or 8pm. If I was YOU, "YES YOU" the one thats reading this. I would go there and buy the orange chicken. Im going! Been coming back at least once a week since I moved to Nashville about 4 years ago, I always do pick ups or order inside so can't speak to their delivery times but everything has been good for me. One time they forgot am eggroll but I didn't think it was a big deal, to my surprise, when I walked in the next week the lady at the register remembered and gave me two!

I called Super Wok to order food after I was horribly disrespected by No.1 Chinese. I am actually glad that No.1 Chinese made me mad enough to cancel and I chose Super Wok! Their food is 1 million times better, the delivery was super quick and my food was amazing! I ordered General Tso's chicken and pork fried rice that I recommend to everyone! Yumm!!!

I ordered trough Uber eats, my sprite was half way full… obviously the sprite comes from the restaurant not Uber eats, it’s not about a refund, it’s about them CHECKING THE ORDER ITS RIGHT. Stopped dining from here when a news reporter stopped my mother and asked her would she do an interview about them and also asked if we knew they had roaches... my mother declined the interview and we stated we surely would not be eating from them again. I used ubereats so I can’t speak for the looks/service of the restaurant, but overall the food I ordered was 4/5. The chicken was a little over cooked, but not terrible. The portion size was good & they provided plenty of sauce. Would recommend and will probably order again

This is my favorite Chinese place in the entire area. It's your basic hole in the wall Chinese strip mall place, so don't expect atmosphere or an idyllic setting, but the food is really good. I use Mongolian beef as my gauge, and it is absolutely great here.

I recently ate their General Tso's Chicken and the chicken tasted old and dry, even the broccoli was dried up. Bad experience. After I got my food the same man came out looking for some other order he didn't give me. Badly organized and poorly managed food.

Food was great and customer service was just fine for a place that is almost solely used as a takeout joint. Also in reference to past reviews, I'm gonna add MSG and migraines have no scientifically proven correlation between each other.

This must be what disappointment tastes like. Everything was burnt dry or awful. As I'm writing this I'm staring at the two boxes of food on my table wondering if I should try to stomach any more or just lay it to rest in the trash.

New management? Been ordering for years and all of the sudden the orders are taking 1.5-2 hours?!? Food is awesome as always but don't tell me 45 min when it's going to be double that or more.

The food here is exactly what you think of when you want chinese food. Servings are HUGE and very reasonably priced. Everything I've tried here has been fantastic. Highly recommended.

Got the Dragon and Phoenix, didn't like the flavor of the shrimp part. Also the General Tzo's Chicken was overcooked. It was a good level of spicy flavor, but tough and chewy/crunchy.
