This is your basic well-stocked corner store. What distinguishes this place is that the couple who owns this are extremely friendly and will go out of their way to help you find what you need--they'll even check your eggs to make sure they're not broken in the carton. Also, if a bay area sports team is playing, it'll be on the TV here, so its also a good place to duck in to check the score.

Be very careful when entering this store ... their staff are intolerant and violent, they have an unhinged woman who runs the front desk-cash register, and a supplier or family member who threatens customers ... and for what? Asking them for help finding the nearest bus stop, which is 10 feet from their front door. They need to be reported and investigated by the community authorities.

Really rude owners. My house is up the street, never coming here again. Most likely racist, they kicked me out of the store for looking for change to buy one banana because I didn't want to break my bills. Definitely wouldn't do that if I was white. I'd give them 0 stars if I could. There's a market 2 blocks up Haight past Buena vista. Way cheaper, and good service.

Amazing service, the store owners are dedicated. They work hard, and late. Always extremely friendly and accommodating. They have a pretty diverse selection of goods well packed into a compact space. They've got a little bit of everything: things you'd find at a hardware store, things you'd find at a pharmacy (toothbrushes, etc.), and food/liquor of course.

Your posted hours have you open till 2a, and I showed up at 11:30p with a pocket full of money and a smile only to find you closed with all the lights off. So as trade for your blatant disregard for the paying public, your items will be free to me tomorrow. See ya around 2p. Thanks in advance for whatever I decide to snack on.

Wonderful corner store! The husband and wife who run it are both really nice, and I’ve had great interactions with other employees as well. They’ve got all the essentials. Very glad I live near this place :)

The store's prices are exorbitant, and their customer service is abysmal. I strongly recommend avoiding this store, as it fails to meet even the basic standards of respect and courtesy towards customers.

Love, love, LOVE this place. The owners are super nice, and they really listen if you have items you want to request that they carry. Surprisingly good selection of items for such a tiny store.

Local store owners who always are really friendly. Every once and awhile, they'll pull out a nice wine from the back. I love going there and supporting their business.

Sticker was 5.99, charged me 8.69. When asked the cashier they said that they were the owner and just felt like changing the price on the spot
