Not going to lie, first impression was sketchy. Thought we might have been in the wrong place! As soon as we came in, we were immediately greeted with a warm, friendly gentleman behind the counter. Figured out what we wanted and placed our order. Food came and did not disappoint! Typical hard-working family food joint here! This is one of those little gems that you will go out of your way to eat at! Don't let the initial appearance fool you! This food is amazing and the staff are extremely friendly! If you are in the neighborhood, it is definitely worth a stop! You will not leave hungry! I will definitely be stopping here again next time I am in this part of town!

Fitting name, the food is definitely for the soul. The fish is so good, and definitely get the wings. We stopped here before going to an event, bad move, I needed a nap after this meal. My belly was definitely happy to meet this Houston spot. The neighborhood is iffy even in the daytime, but the customer service was great and the food came out in a timely manner. I highly recommend this place. Jesus, take the wheel, the house, the dog, and whatever else you feel is necessary for them to keep churning out delicious meals.

Man hands down some of the best food places that I’ve ate in a long time! I went in just to get the loaded fries and then I noticed they had wings and one of the bosses hooked me up with an eight piece of the bourbon wings and when I tell you I did not need no ranch even though he did give me some because the flavor of the wings will have anyone coming back it was off the chain I’m talking about way better then any Wingstop location I’ve been to in a while that has been disappointing . Also the vibe up there was like going to a family members house eating and watching TV and everybody’s doing their own thing. I pray this business continues to flourish.

In the area, found this place on maps and decided to stop. Ordered fish & shrimp plate. Plate served with 2 pieces of catfish, 5 shrimp, and french fries. I frequent both locations. I work near this location. The guys are always professional and courteous. The food is always freshly prepared and delicious. Today they guaranteed that I would enjoy the peach cobbler. I will say that crust is definitely made from scratch. It's perfect. I always get the grilled shrimp salad and a side of wings....Bourbon wings are my go to but today I want the lemon pepper joints...They just do it right every time. Consistency is it for me!! A forever customer and supporter.

when my co-workers and I discovered this place about a year ago, we have not stopped going since. We love love love the salads the most. I always get salad and wings and share with my hunny. It would be too big for me but they have side salads with everything i love grabbing for lunch. We always have left overs. I have tried all the salads, they are delicious. We get to call in our food, then we pick it up. They dont take long at all. They are always so nice and friendly.

What a great find, Gem of a place. In town for work, stop by to order wings and fries and had a daiquiri while I was waiting which was great by the way as well. Will be back.

The place was filthy and the onion rings were rotten. The burgers were old or overcooked, but dry as hell regardless. The guy making the food was cool though, even though he sucks at it. Won't be coming back here, a chill guy isn't enough to want this level of stomach upset again.

Hands down the food is amazing. I had the fish & shrimp basket. The fish was fried crispy just the way fish should be served..I loved it. Shrimp was on point. Very yummy . This is definitely a MUST try at this LOCATION. I love the staff & cooks. I only sample the daiquiris, but the taste of the daiquiris were very good. I will definitely be going back to the West Orem location. I HIGHLY recommend.

I walked in and the owner warmly greeted me. I told him how much I love supporting local businesses. Then, he answered all of my questions and told me his favorite. I got the fried red fin and okra. There was a little dipping sauce in there which was really good. It was a big portion, and pretty good.

This is my first time here and the food I had was flawless. I’m not just saying that. I had a simple fish basket and the way it was prepared, the portion size, the sauces were perfect. Nothing was over seasoned (and I love seasoning on my food) everything was perfect. This is how you fry fish! This is how you fry shrimp! I will be back.

Dude knows what he's doing. We got the salmon salad and some wings. The salmon was better than at a high end restaurant, the salad was beautiful and fresh. Also, best wings I've ever had. I don't think you can go wrong ordering anything here.
