I have to say that I am so pleased with how this story ended up, and it could have been a much different experience if Eddy and Peter of Tampa Auto Source had not been diligent in making sure they did right by someone who ended up purchasing a car with major engine issues. I commend them for doing the right thing by their customer. In mid May 2012, I purchased (cash) what I thought was my dream sports car convertible from Peter Acevedo of Tampa Auto Source. The car I purchased was a clean car fax, one owner vehicle, the same make and model of one I owned and loved just 2 years ago. Within a few weeks, it was obvious that there was a serious engine problem as the car was burning excessive amounts of oil. Peter recommended I bring the car back to him to have his independent mechanic evaluate the problem. The vehicle it seemed had not been properly cared for by that one owner, was now in need of a valve job and possibly an entire engine replacement. Somewhere along the line (and the car had been at several dealerships prior to coming to Tampa Auto Source), I believe someone did something to hide the problem for a few thousand miles. I do not believe that Tampa Auto Source knew anything more than I did about the condition of the engine - it drove well, and had no obvious oil burning issues until after I had driven it about 900 miles. From there - it just got worse. After several visits to Peter's local mechanic, and a thorough evaluation, Peter and the owner of Tampa Auto Source – Eddy Arias, agreed that they would take the car back and get me a replacement vehicle of my choosing. I am now driving a newer vehicle (different make/model) that Eddy arranged to purchase from another local dealer so that he in turn could take my oil burning car back in trade, and am very happy. Tampa Auto Source gave me the full price paid back toward the new car. They were very careful to make sure that I was happy with my new choice, and had no problem with me having the vehicle evaluated by a mechanic prior to my purchase. I really appreciate the honesty and integrity of Tampa Auto Source, Eddy Arias and Peter Acevedo. They worked with me until I was happy, and worked hard to get me a good quality replacement vehicle.

I have purchased numerous used vehicles over 30+ years and have been lucky until recently. I bought a car from Tampa Auto Source in Aug 2023. Please know the people working there (Kevin is one) have done nothing to change the poor stereotype of used car salespeople. They are not transparent, they are deceptive and they are not service oriented, rather they only seek to maximize their profit by doing their best to make the cars shiny, pretending they did pre-sales service to the vehicles and hiding or attempting to diminish mechanical or body-work issues. For example, if your side view mirror falls off soon after purchase and you find out it was previously broken and then glued on vs. replacing it properly then in my experience, Tampa Auto Source will not partner with you on the cost to replace it. Buyer beware....sales are "as-is" as should be expected with used cars. No lemon law for used cars in FL so if a significant issue arises soon after you purchased, your options are to try to have the dealer correct it at their cost or a lawsuit via court. (I am not an attorney) I encourage you to shop somewhere else, at a verified, reputable dealer, not Tampa Auto Source. Update: 9/28/2023 9:06pm ET after response from dealer. My point exactly, Tampa Auto Source will spin a lie to suit their sham business. The mirror did not fall off recently, in fact the mirror fell off within 18 hours of purchasing the vehicle and Kevin would NOT partner to replace it. So, I accepted my responsibility as,I agreed to buy as is. Then within days I discovered the timing chain was broken, it needed a new engine mount, both front lower control arms were broken. I had the car inspected by two BMW service companies and they both came up with same issues. So, again AS IS Buyer beware, Tampa Auto Source DOES NOT PROPERLY INSPECT the VEHICLES THEY SELL. APantelious.

These people play a dirty game in terms of false advertisement and price games. I contacted them about a 2016 ranger rover sport that was posted on facebook marketplace for $23,995. But on their website was $29,995. Their facebook account: Jess Fin Ed, told me via messenger just bring the ad and confirmed the price. The next day he told me it was sold. So I called the dealership and asked if the vehicle was available. They told me it was available and i asked about the facebook price, they confirmed that price as well. I called Monday evening and told them i was coming Tuesday. The guy even asked me "tomorrow or Next Tuesday." I said tomorrow in the afternoon/evening. They removed the facebook ad today. I called, Kevin said the facebook price was a typo, and when i confronted him that i called yesterday and spoke with someone (which probably was him) and that they confirmed that facebook price. He denied it and started playing around with words. This is the worst place i have ever dealt with. Honest business should not be run like this and people should avoid them. I have all my records of chats and phone calls. Shame on them for misleading potential buyer and resorting to tricks to defraud people.

My husband and I bought a car from this dealership a few months ago, we couldn’t have had a worse experience. The cars were poorly maintained especially the loaner car we received due to the fact that our vehicle never made it home without giving us a check engine light. As we brought the car back, the owners insured us that we had a 30 day warranty and they would take care of the repairs in that timespan. After bringing the car back a third time, for the same issue after not driving it for more than a day at a time. It was in the shop for nearly a month back to back. Final time picking up the car from the mechanic, the mechanic in fact spoke ill of the owners stating they only do the “quick fix” in order to keep the car from coming back within the warranty time. Pretty unprofessional if you ask me. After the warranty finally ended, the same light then again came back, I personally had to spend another $2,000 just to have the car in working condition, to where it didn’t go into a “limp” mode. This company shows it’s true colors after you sign the contract. I didn’t expect a perfect sale but this place will have you wish that you just kept your old car.

I purchased a 2012 Audi a6 from here recently. The buying process was smooth and straight up. First traffic light out the lot I got a check engine light. Immediately turned back they assured to drop the following week they’d fix it, manager Yas was very reassuring and professional. I had the issue pre diagnosed so I knew beforehand. When I brought it in they honored their free warranty and fixed the engine intake based issue in no time. When I went to pickup the car to my surprise none of the electronics worked the radio, center console, buttons, nothing. They called for their mechanic who had no idea what had happened and seemed to think this was due to the outsourced mechanic he said they contracted for this. They once again assured me they would fix the issue not to drop it off this time but they would contact me to bring it in have it fixed. They apologized for the inconvenience of no buttons or radio. Unfortunately as I write this almost 2 months later I have yet to get a response. I am not looking for resolution or compensation of the issue just posting my unbiased experience.

We had an amazing experience. Andrew did a great job through the entire process and is a car enthusiast like my son so they had an awful lot to share. Thank you and we recommend the deal ship to everybody! ***Follow up - We noticed the night that we purchased the car that it had a pretty big oil leak. It’s been at the dealership for two weeks and we’ve had to spend $5000 to replace quite a bit. This is not something that you should have to deal with after buying a car with less than 70,000 miles. We do not have $5000 laying around and the car was purchased for our son. It was suggested by Tampa Auto Source to return the car, but we could not do so safely as it was hemorrhaging oil and we live in Bradenton. Also, the car was already torn down. Hopeful that Tampa Auto stands behind the car and helps us with some of the expenses. They were great to work with, but this is excessive.

FRAUD. WARNING. DO NOT BUY. Quite literally the worst car buying experience. Bought a car from them about 2 years ago. The staff lied and concealed information that we specifically asked about. The car had been previously wrecked so badly that it could not be aligned to drive straight. The dealership refused to honor an ad from a sale on their website. In fact, we only purchased the car because the one we currently owned was not drivable and we were in a bind. About 6 months after we bought the car, a new accident was reported on its carfax (not from us). We have spent thousands of dollars just trying to get the car to be reliable. And more recently(this year), another accident has been reported on its car fax — again not from us. Other car dealerships refer to this place as a “roach factory.” If i could give this place negative stars, I would. Dishonest. Do not trust.

Worst experience we’ve had at a “dealership”. Kevin was super rude and had little to no information. The VIN number to the car we were interested in was incorrect and mixed up with another cars on the lot. If we hadn’t noticed the mileage and vin number was incorrect ourselves they would have sold us a 2017 model as a 2019. When asking about it, he seemed to shrug it off and when also asking about the cars check engine light his answers were, “I don’t know, I don’t know, some aftermarket thing.” When explaining why we didn’t like the whole situation with the vin number and the check engine lights he proceeded to ask, “didn’t you look at the car online before coming?” Yes we did but it was also listed under incorrect information. He was super huffy and acted as if us asking him to do his job was an issue. If I could give less than 1 star I would.

We were a little hesitant to go to this place because, it was 30 miles away but, after meeting with these very professional people, we felt very at ease. Yas and Eddy, were very, VERY, professional and really know their business! Had such a pleasant experience that, we called back, less than 24 hrs later to purchase another car. Really high-end quality cars. They make things right, if you have ANY issues. Better experience than a new car dealer! Take a chance and go here to browse some really good quality cars. And, if you are looking for something different? They will find it for you.... Find financing for you.... And make it a wonderful experience! We were looking for 1 car and now.... Looking for another.... From them! They can get any car you want. That's all good!

Great experience! We drove 9 hours to buy a car from Tampa Auto Source! There were 4 dealerships where we could have bought our car. After speaking with Orlando by phone, over a couple of days, we were confident that Tampa Auto Source was the best choice for us. When we arrived to meet Orlando, and to see the car, we were extremely pleased. The car was everything he said it would be. Orlando and Eddie went out of their way to ensure our experience exceeded our expectations! We would NOT have driven 9 hours to buy a car from someone we didn't trust. Orlando is a true professional and we were very pleased to be dealing with such a kind person. We bought a car, and we made a friend. We absolutely recommend Tampa Auto Source.

Very nice group of people at this dealership who take a personal interest in your personal reasons for wanting a vehicle at the price that you want it. They work very hard to get you the price that you want and will work with credit unions they have never heard of before (although this may be time consuming). Very respectful and very easy to talk to. Very flexible with staying after closing and arriving early, too. I appreciate everything they have done for me and I love the car. They made sure to check all fluids and did not hesitate to show me the Carfax report. Everything seems to be in very good condition. Price negotiation was a little tough, but they will eventually find something that works for you.

They have a fantastic selection of autos and the service here restored a little of my faith in used car lots. They had just the BMW I was looking for, for a price I really couldn’t argue. It was a couple weeks before I was able to come actually but the car because they were fixing a minor issue for me first. They made the strongest effort they could to make sure the car they sold me was right and when the post came in they took my car and repaired it with no runaround. Dealing with Yas and Eddie were a breeze, both total gentleman. If you’re reading this you apparently are on the market for a car, well let me tell you this: stop by Tampa Auto Source, you won’t regret it.

The sales experience was great and we love the car...BUT... got it last week and it's at the mechanic for $2k with of mechanical repairs that are not new. Huge oil pan leak. All lights on dashboard went on 2 days later because of bad rear sensors. We were told by our mechanic that the lights were probably reset and they take driving 2 cycles before they come back on. That's exactly what happened. Drove it twice and all warning lights came on. Other reviews had answers from the owner stating they always offer a free and extended warranty. We were offered neither of these. Our own fault for trusting that everyone there was honest. We won't ever return. Very disappointing.

I had such a phenomenal experience with Orlando and Joshua! Orlando found me the perfect car (a mint condition C-class) and jumped through every hoop imaginable to get me into this car. My credit was non-existent and I had a meager down payment. None of it mattered! I left in that car the same day! Yas and Eddie are great people to deal with. Yas worked magic to be able to get me into a car that fitted my needs, he was very upfront and honest didn't tried to get me into a car that I couldn't afford and even with my not so perfect credit he was able to get me a very comfortable monthly payments. Also the as a used car has had minimal issues and they had been nice enough to fix it for me after warranty was over and for that I'll always will always remember that I recommend this gentleman anytime to make business with. The staff was great but the car has been horrible. I  know it's a risk you take when buying a used car. We did test drive it and it ran fine.. we made the purchase and drove to a gas station where the engine light came on. We took it back to the dealership and they "fixed" the light, we drove home and the light came back on as we pulled in the driveway. We took the car back again and the same thing happened. They referred us to the audi dealership where we spent $2k for the repair. We've had to take this vehicle back for repairs over and over in the past few months.

Fraud all over it! Paid full amount in cash to find out the car needs transmission and engine overhaul!! My biggest fault was trusting this place! Over charged me with taxes and registration fees to find out it was added to the sale price instead of returning the difference to me! STAY AWAY!!!! I purchased a 2012 Volkswagen Tiguan here and Yas was very helpful in suggesting where I could get financing for it. I noticed the screen missing on sunroof , no problem on getting it replaced . They really stood behind their word on making sure if the car had problems in the first month it was fixed - the sunroof leaked( from what I understand is a known problem with this car) they kept it until was completely fixed and dry inside. I was treated very well and they were very responsive to all my inquiries. Would recommend them .

Good experience, the staff was friendly and the process was smooth. But unfortunately we are already having trouble with a car we purchased here just 3 months ago in February, overheating and leaking coolant. I know it's a risk you take when buying used cars and it was apparently sold to us in good shape but it is pain having to spend money in a car you just bought and making payments on it. They were nice enough to make an appointment for us to program the radio at our local Audi at no cost to us. Thank you!

Amazing Experience!!! Just purchased a 2006 Mercedes E350. The car is incredibly clean and in wonderful condition. Had a great experience with Yas and Eddy! I got the car I wanted and they worked hard to get me the best loan possible. I had an issue with some sensors shortly after I bought the car, but they were able to get it fixed for me and even provided me with another car in the meantime. I picked my car back up earlier this week- it runs great (and was even vacuumed and washed) I absolutely love it! I also really appreciated how they worked around my busy schedule-- would definitely recommend!

I had a good experience. I researched the car I wanted and went in with a bank check ready to go. Read the small print, even tho I had my own financing they still wanted 10% over the advertised cash price for finance costs. They waived that fee and came down a little more to meet my price but made me give up the 30 day warranty they usually provide. Go in armed with info and your own financing or cash. I got a beautiful BMW at ultimately a great price. I’d recommend this dealership.

Perfect place to waste you time. They profile you with out trying to get you an approved on any car. I drove 1 hour to find out the sales man is not motivated to sell cars no matter the situation of the customer always get there number and follow up with them because there situations can change and you can lose a sale or sale’s because of there attitude and profile customer no mater of what that say…. Peter and Eddie at Tampa Auto Source were of great help in my first time car buying experience. They had a beautiful, black, BMW 3 series that I had been looking for. The one they had was in the best condition that I had found any where with the fewest miles. Beware of their online pricing!!! Very dishonest and like playing games advertising a great deal online but in reality all prices are $2000 more! Im reporting them to the local DMV regional office and FTC! Price should be the same wether im buying cash or financing, anybody saying otherwise is playing games and doing illegal practices and if staff has been instructed on this, I feel sorry for you because your management is doing illegal stuff

Salesman was very kind and stayed over an hour late to wait for us coming from out of town. There was no weird pressure to buy the car and he was professional and honest from the beginning to the end. I bought another car a few months ago...I wish I would have known about this business beforehand. Completely different experience. Car is in excellent shape. And the other cars on the lot looked nice as well. Salesman had knowledge of vehicles.

Horrible experience. Drove 1.5 hours there to purchase an Audi A3 and they wouldn’t help me even though i was in communication with Miguel the entire time for two days. Was extremely rude and i was outside for 30 mins in the hot weather looking at the selection of cars there and no one tried to assist me. I even asked for Miguel and the sales guy there wouldn’t even tell him i was there. Wouldn’t recommend anyone doing business with them.

Had the guy come out to "greet" me for my 1pm test drive appointment today. After telling him I had planned on test driving another car tomorrow, he told me to go down to a different dealership & test drive one of theirs. I setup this appointment a few days ago & they still couldn't find time in their schedule to let me test drive the car.. He then got in his car & left... Don't go to this lot & play their games...

Yas took care of my every need and worry. The Buying and finance process was a breeze. This review is a bit overdue. I have had a very pleasant experience with these guys during and after the purchasing of my vehicle (2011 Jetta). They have shown to be straight forward and easy to deal with. All in all, I would gladly do business with them again and I would recommend their services to anyone.

I’d be very weary dealing with this “dealership” communication is horrible. I came in to look at a vehicle. I had to call 3 times on 3 different days to get updates . And still never received a call. They ran my credit, and then no follow up on the vehicle I was interested in , then I see it was sold.

Great experience and honest pricing. We bought a VW Jetta for my son's first car. The entire process was straight forward and honest. They honored the 30 day warranty when we discovered a minor issue with key ignition housing, no questions ask just took care of it in a timely manner.

They advertise great prices but at the very end of a long paragraph they say they’re cash only prices and the price listed is assuming a 2k down payment for financing. Not to mention their salespeople barely know how to form a sentence and texting with them is unbearable.
