Almost every time I have to refill a prescription at TGH pharmacy there is an issue. they say the prescriptions ready and it’s not. I’ll request a refill and days will go by without them filling it. It takes you calling them and asking about it to refill it. I submitted a refill request on Wednesday, it’s now Monday and the fill is still in progress. Ive been told im not able to refill a medication to later iithen be told by a separate staff member that i definitely had a refill available and they were unsure why the other person told me I didn’t. I’ve paid for medications before that I wasn’t supposed to pay for, when I inquired about it, the error was simply that the person didn’t read the notes in the system authorizing an override. I’ve requested a refill that wasn’t available the time and instead of someone calling and notifying me they didn’t have the medication in stock they just cancelled the request with no notification (this happens every time, I’ve never once received a phone call notifying me that my refill was unavailable or out of stock, it takes me calling for them to tell me why I never got the medication). Hold times on the phone are HORRIBLE - sometimes over an hour. I’ve requested to speak to the manager, Kristen Jensen is her name I believe, I have never received a call back. One of the technicians even sent her an email regarding my concerns and no response. All of the medications are speciality meds - so I HAVE to use TGH as a pharmacy, otherwise I would not use them!!!

I was in tgh hospital 10 days and then 14 days i. Inpatient rehab. When i was being discharged Saturday. The outpatient pharmacist brought me a huge bags of meds stapled shut. She then said i had a deductible to pay. I informed her i was on workmans comp she showed me they had billed all my meds to my personal insurance which i had never given them. When i got home i opened the bag and some of my meds i needed most were missing. When i called back of course they were closed. I called this morning to get the pain meds i needed the most the girl that answered the phone immediately began to argue with me. She said my meds gad been declined. I tried to explain they were using the wrong insurance. I begged her to get my correct info from the hospital. She told me that wasnt her job. I finally hung up because of her rudeness and unprofessionalism. I am trying to find the number to the supervisor there.

This is hands down the WORST pharmacy in ALL of tampa bay. Whenever they are back ordered on medication or out of stock, they NEVER inform the patients - they won’t even tell us when the medications will be back in stock, nor do they admit to false info about the medication being in stock several days prior. In addition, the pharmacy staff takes it upon themselves to alter the QTY on prescriptions from doctors to change it to whatever they like despite consistently getting it filled as written by the MD for several months. This pharmacy is a scam and they treat patients horrifically. This is NOT a good representation for TGH at all!

They’re getting one star because zero wasn’t an option. This is thee worst organization I’ve ever dealt with of any kind. The only reason I continue with them is my infant son needs compound medications we can only get from a specialty pharmacy. Every time we need to fill a prescription, which is often, it’s always an issue with them. They literally never communicate with us anything. Rosa and Steph hate their jobs so they take out on customers. We’ve been trying to get in contact with the pharmacy manager Kristin Jensen for weeks now and we can never catch her and we can never get a call back when they say she will.

I really am surprised that my go to pharmacy is here. Fill prescriptions promptly with in 2 hours if that and better with for everything else Don't run out of any medication. Compounds etc. Love their professionalism! Walgreens used to take forever and it was originally a pharmacy and CVS just sucks and publix I'm in awe hugs TGH U get a person on the phone always. No recording for 5 minutes and maybe get a person. The right person. Etc

the girl on the phone just said "um um um um no we don't fill prescriptions for pets." are you kidding me? so a DVM isn't as important as an MD ??? Amoxicillin is an antibiotic, so what you're telling me is you'd rather my animal suffer??? Tampa general hospital doesn't like animals. GOOD TO KNOW. glad I've been a patient at this place, glad you people are so compassionate...HORRIBLE!!!!!!!!!!!!!! if I could give zero stars I would.

I am with .T.G.M.G..as a client as it being my primary care facility .For 4 yrs I had been using winn dixie for my prescriptions..I didn't know about .. Tgh pharmacy all of this time..I made the call Spoke with..Zack he was extremely helpful, Informative & had great customer service etiquette..My medicine was ready with no problems or issue Tgh pharmacy is A1. & Zack is Awesome!

I spent almost 2 months in TGH and inevitably when it was time for my medications the nurses would tell me that the pharmacy did not send up my medications or they would send up one of my pills but not both of them so I was supposed to have 200 mg but the pharmacy only sent 100 mg. Why? I’ve been there for two months it’s not like they didn’t know.

Always late or never shows up!! Most times I have to call 3 times a week to get one prescription! Most times they need to get a A courier to bring me my meds they are so late last time it was 16 days late. They are completely incompetent go someplace else! Also Katie one of the Pharmacist rude and totally incompetent!

Horrible atención el doctor manda una receta a la farmacia de ibuprofeno y vas horas despues y te dicen que no esta listo, la cola enorme solo una caja abierta y muchos empleados dentro trabajando, las pocas personas que hablan español especialmente una señora del drop off muy desagradable...

Jackie is very rude. No kind of customer skills. She acted as if she was being inconvenienced when I called the pharmacy. She really was nasty. She definitely didn’t make me feel like a welcomed patient. I definitely won’t be referring any friends or family there.

So the pharmacy calls me at 10am to ask me when will I be picking up my prescription. I get to the location around 5:30pm and then told it would be 5 minutes. So we drive around Davis Island to kill time and come back at 6pm and the meds still aren't ready

All I’ve been trying to do is ask a basic question about medication and I keep getting the run around. They transfer me to a different pharmacy number where there is no option to speak to someone or they just hang up on me....

Outstanding customer service and support. Wife's a transplant patient since Oct '22.... All Rx's delivered to our home - NO CHARGE.. They call me when meds are almost due for refill....

Everyone was extremely professional and courteous and understanding. The pharmacist went beyond his normal duties and added his own personal touch. Topshelf service.

The wait is ridiculous, only two windows open with extra staff in the back is crazy, get everybody working at the front when you see a long line.

It's not a bad pharmacy it's just that it's a BUSY pharmacy... otherwise it's fine.. they don't seem to have enough workers at time.
