Very unprofessional and blatantly rude. Went to drop off 2 prescriptions for my Mother & the pharmacy technician Tyler told me that my mother's medicine couldn't be filled without ME giving them her medical history. Really? The proper thing to do is contact the patient to find out private confidential information like that. I asked to speak with the pharmacist and here comes the rude pharmacist Kenny Coats he told me I need your mother's insurance info. Are there any allergies I need to know about? By then I had my mother on the phone getting her insurance info and any allergies she might have. I wrote her 1st insurance om a piece of paper for Kenny Coats and give it to him while getting my mother's secondary insurance before I could get the rest of the info from my mother this rude pharmacist tells me it'll be 45 minutes I said hold on there's another insurance he proceeds to rudely interrupt me by saying "I said it'll be 45 minutes if we have any problems with the insurance we'll give your mom a call" I have never been so angry in my life if that was the case you should've call my mother in the first place. I don't patronize Walgreens especially the one at 2115 East 22nd Street they are unprofessional & very rude. Before my review they already had a rating of 2.5 sad sad sad. Cooperate should really go in person an access what's going on at this location. If I was dying I would pass Walgreens & go to CVS!!!! And for the record I'm also going to reach out to cooperate about Tyler & Kenny Coats behavior it's UNACCEPTABLE & just a horrible representation of the company

This place is a literal joke. It took them a week to approve my prescriptions through my Insurance (they never called me to ask if I wanted it anyways which I do because I knew my Insurance wouldn't cover it and it was less than $20). Then I go to pick them up and they have all the wrong prescriptions ready. I'm getting my wisdom teeth removed and I had two out of the four I needed already from a failed removed attempt earlier in the month. I called and explained it to the pharmacy this morning at 11 am and they said it wasn't a problem and they would remove the prescriptions I already had and would have the ones I needed ready. But when I went to pick them up at 5pm they weren't only not ready bit they didn't remove the ones I already had. After waiting in the drive through line for an HOUR they said that they needed me to circle around so they could fill the prescription they missed. I refused since I had waited so long already and had called it in and since the prescription that they needed to fill was a quantity of only 2 pills; she threatened to call security on me. O tried to explain the situation to her and she just continued to threaten to have me removed by security. I asked to speak to a manager and she refused and threatened me once again with security. I went inside after that and spoke to the store manager (not the pharmacy manager) amd they helped me. The whole pharmacy staff need to be FIRED and replaced. I'm not the only one with this problem. The store itself is fine but the pharmacy is the worse experience one could have

Excellent Pharmacy Service, I have been a patient/customer there for almost 5 years. The Pharmacists and Techs are highly knowledgeable and helpful. I have Asthma and a few other conditions usually filling over (5) perscriptions a month at different times. Surprisingly when I phone in the pharmacy they seem to know me by name and sometimes even by my voice which is very impressive considering the pharmacy size and patient load they work with. Unlike other reviews I read I have never been judged by a pharmacist or had any trouble getting my medications filled as quickly as possible for they are a very busy store. In the past year their turn around time has accelerated immensely and Take Care Clinic has always been 5 star if I had to take my children or myself there in a pinch! I am very happy with the all around customer service throughout the store as well. Like most large corporations everything cannot be 100% ~ There is a quite nasty (older woman) cashier that works at the front in the evenings but the night manager(s) apologized for her on more than one occasion and took care of me himself. I cannot fault Walgreens for that because I left happy on those occasions. All in all I LOVE having 24 Hr. Pharmacy Service within 10 minutes from my home for a big chain Pharmacy I feel much more than just a number. I could not ask for a more professional and friendly Pharmacy. Thank You

I had completed a Covid rapid test here and was expecting my results within hours being that I was the only person in the pharmacy drive through (not busy) and have been to much more busy locations and still received my results within hours. Regardless, they did say it could take as long as 24hrs to get the results so I decided to wait until then. It is now 27 1/2hrs later and I still have not received my results. I had a feeling from the beginning that they either made or mistake of were just dragging their feet on it. Therefore I called, and when I did so the line rang, someone answered, and within 2 seconds sent me back to hold without any warning. So I waited for about another 8 mins then someone answered again. I told them about my situation, they said I should have received an email, I told them I didn't, they said check again, I did and it still was not there. After, the person on the line gave me a different number to call about not receiving my results and that number was no help as well. Now I am continuing to miss work because someone else can't do theirs.

I love Walgreen's but I was irritated today. I called ahead two times and asked if they took my insurance. I was told yes when I called the first time so I changed my pharmacy with my doctor while I was there and they faxed my prescriptions over. Then I call.ahead the second time and they act like all.is well and tell em.they gonna fill my prescriptions and then I get there to pick them.up and then they tell me.they don't take my insurance . Really ? Couldn't someone have been responsible.enough to actually check.because I was responsible enough and called ahead of time. Then I had to call my old pharmacynand try to get them to fax my stuff to them.and I still havnt heard from.CVS and they was supposed to.do that this afternoon. So yeah I love Walgreen's but that was bogus. I'm a diabetic and I need my meter and supplies . I needed them.today not two.days from now so very negligent staff who lied or didn't even take.the time.to.really check they just give me whateevr answer they THOUGHT was correct.

All 3 times that I've been to this location have been horrible. The staff is very unorganized and do not care about customers waiting long period of times. They obviously do not like their job and are constantly stressed out due to poor management. We went to the pharmacy and they told us it would be 10 to 15 minutes. We came back in 20, through the drive thru. The guy at the drive thru again told us it would another 10 to 15 minutes. We politely told him that we had been waiting for 20 minutes already. He cut off us mid sentence saying "yea well that'll be another 10 minutes".... I feel bad for the workers bc they seem so stressed to the point that they can't even deliver good customer service. We notified the pharmacist who simply brushed off the techs attitude with a dusty old coupon code that we could've found on our own... this location needs some serious help. We WILL be going to CVS or Walmart for future purchases. Thank you.

My recent experience totally lacked in any customer service. I ordered a same day canvas print, received confirmation of order, then didn't hear anything for a few days. When I called they couldn't find my order and transfered me around to about 4 different people. None of who knew what was going on. And I was hung up on several times with no apologies. Never called back. And no explanation. So after 45 minutes of being on hold and calling back someone told me they didn't have the supplies to complete my order. (Shouldn't you have called me concidering it was a 24 hour order?) Then they tell me they have the stuff now and will complete my order that day and call me when it's ready. No one ever called me. I called back the following day and was told my order was ready but it was damaged, didn't process correctly. But I could come pick it up whenever. ‍♀️ No thanks. I won't be going to the store anymore.

This is the worse pharmacy I’ve ever been to. Why is this place still open? Due to insurance change, I had to switch my prescriptions from CVS to here. In theory, at least, as I’ve yet to get my prescriptions filled here, and I’ve been trying for a month. I’ve come to the store 5 times, and left empty handed every time. They always have some issue or problem or excuse and just don’t fill them. I’m out of meds now, thanks so much Walgreens, and am Exhausted from fighting you for them. In addition, the store is dirty and store equipment is broken. I tried to make a purchase, only to be told only one of their two card machines was working - and the working card machine had a broken 4 key. Have a PIN with a 4 in it? No purchase for you. The associates are just rude and couldn’t care less. I’m writing up all my experience with this store and will be sending to Walgreens cooperate.

So the reason I’m giving this Walgreens location 3 stars, rather than 2, simply for the fact that even though they have most everything I need (in terms of the medication I take, since I always had issues with the Walgreens on Hillsborough and Rome Ave), one thing they REALLY need to work on is their customer service. I’ve been put on hold several times by the pharmacy, and their phone lines are sometimes disconnected, which is a BIG issue that they need to fix. On top of that, even though I don’t mind waiting for them to refill my medications, I’ve sometimes seen other people be treated in a way that I would never treat a customer. If they actually took the time to fix their big issues, I think this Walgreens location could be much, much better.

My husband and I were in vacation from New York for over 14 days here in the Tampa area. My husband is on various different kinds of medication due to breaking his back servers times if he does not have his medication walking for him in near impossible. It just so happened that he needed to refill his two meds the pharmist would not fill either of them! The reasoning being she didn't think that he needed it.... Are you kidding me since when did this lady become my husbands doctor? She had access to his record as well as the doctors number but refused to look at either? So little miss pharmacist needs to get off her power trip and actually try to help people and not treat th like low life drug dealers!!!

Dropped off prescription hours ago. They left me a message saying they didn't even have one of my orders and I would have to wait 24 hours to get it. Spent 30 minutes on the phone trying to get through to them. No answer. Finally drove here and they said they have everything but I have to wait again. They literally do not pick up the phone at all. I am sitting here watching them ignore it. Been waiting another 20 minutes here when they said it would be 5 more minutes because it still isn't ready hours later after I dropped it off. Terrible customer service

Very poor pharmacy customer service. They never pick up the phone. When I went in person to check on my rx's i heard the phone ringing non stop with no one even attempting to answer it Mind you I received a message on my cell that my rx's were ready for pick up on one my chemo pill wasn't ready and not even processed yet the second rx wasn't even run through my secondary Ins.Co. will go back to using Publix pharmacy where I never have had an issue b4 I only choose walgreens as it was closer to me I will never use walgreens again !!!

Sat for a literal HOUR after checking in for my appointment on a Tuesday at 2:30 in the afternoon while their pharmacy staff of at least 8 (plus a "trainee" who I didn't see get instructed on a single thing) just walked around doing god knows what. One girl at the main check in was consistently busy as was the guy working the window. The others were talking about lunch, taking breaks, discussing juices and how UberEats got their order wrong. Definitely not behaving as if people were experiencing a wait THAT ridiculous.

I had a horrible experience while at this location. Nearly every item that I needed was under lock. I ask an associate why this was an she explained that the theft rate was so high. It did not end there. My daughter was given a specific time for her pictures to be ready and they were not. Lastly the check out line was extremely long so a customer became irritated so he voiced his opinion at that time the associate said that he could leave if he liked. What a horrible response. Please shut the whole thing down.

Worst pharmacy in the world there drive thru is never available at night . I came inside due to drive thru was unavailable to be told on crutches that they could not fill my script because it was a worker’s compensation script it was going to take to long . I arrive at 8:30 and they close at 9pm and from 8:30 till 9pm they gave me the run around because they were ready to go home and I was the last customer I also contacted the manger victor he was no help what so ever.

I have chronic asthma and went to the store to get 2 different medicines transferred from another location to this store since it is closest to my house. Unfortunately 2 different times they have lost my information and not transferred or filled my prescription. Now these 2 prescriptions have expired and I am without my medication. Mind you, I went to get it transferred more than 3 weeks before the they expired. Definitely calling corporate to complain.

This pharmacy is great. They are typically very busy, but the staff is always multi tasking and working fast. The customers are sometimes very rude, but I’m glad that the good quality of customer service doesn’t seem to be affected by the customers’ rude gestures. I got my flu shot here and they were quick, fast and painless. All of the pharmacists are nice, professional and willing to take time to provide quality consultations.

Absolute horrible service at Pharmacy. They hang up on customers after you’ve been sitting on hold because they don’t want to take calls! Always a long wait. They text you and tell you the prescription is ready then when you get there they pretend like they have no idea what you’re talking about and make you wait 20 minutes while they go and search for it. The African lady is super rude. I will never go back to that location.

I am embarrassed to be a prior Walgreens employee when I walk into this store. The pharmacy is so understaffed and one of the techs called IC3 like 3 times and no one came to help but there was a manager and other employees in another aisle just talking. I will try to avoid having to go to this store but the few times I have, they have a security guard at the front. I have never seen anything like it.

If you can get someone on the phone, GOOD LUCK. Several times before switching to a different Walgreens I waited for over 30 minutes before hanging up. When I went to the store the Tech literally told me that they unplug the phone when it’s busy due to being so short staffed. This is unacceptable and I expected better from Walgreens. The worst customer service of any Walgreens I have ever been to.

The store looked nice, and some what organized when I walked in, but I felt like I was in a ghost town. I saw no one on the floor besides the cashier up front. I just wondered around until I was able to pin point the item I needed. Luckily they had what I needed for me. I got up to the front, and I seriously was like is this guy going to acknowledge me, so I can cash out. No personality at all.

FUE MUY MALA EN EL ÁREA DE FARMACIA MEZCLARON MI MEDICINA DE LA AZÚCAR CON IBUPROFEN, me dijeron q tenía q esperar por la manager para hacer un reporte de eso. Absolutely horrible pharmacy service. Customer service is average at best. The wait is always so long. Don't even worry about going through the drive through because you will spend most of your day waiting. Will be switching my prescriptions to another location. Literally sitting in the drive through currently stuck between 2 cars. I have been here for 25 min at this point.

I have had a couple of good experiences here, but lately it is just condescending pharmacy techs and pharmacists. Paying to be told I don't listen and to go away and call the request in is what finally made me move my prescriptions. I used to go to the walgreens on Nebraska and MLK before it closed down. Sounds like this store is following the same plan.

Ive been a customer for a while but this will be the last day. I called in to see if my meds was ready. Not only did I have to hold on for about 15 mins. The pharmacist on duty was the rudiest lady I ever met. After I pick these meds up I will never use wallgreens again. I will transfer everything to another pharmacy. I shouldnt have to put up with this

They are the WORST. Customer service in the pharmacy is awful. If you call, plan on them picking up telling u to hold a billion times & never taking the call. There IS a work around...call and ask for the store manager- he will actually put the pharmacist on the line with you. What an awful experience, I will be xferring my scripts to another location.

Went to this Walgreens last night the night manager I waited at least 10 to 15 minutes for her lazy ass to come up to the front desk then when she got there she was rude and nasty like I was bothering her suggest get rid of her I know that store is close to the projects but that doesn't mean she's got a hate people that don't live there

I got hollered at and left standing there till Good ole Mr. Gary came to a rescue.. Today I will learn my fait pray for me.

So slow, pharmacy didn’t answer my call for 25 mins then picked up and hung up. Went in for prescriptions and it’s a joke. Completely understaffed... standing around confused and not answering the phone that keeps ringing. Was trying this pharmacy for the first time and won’t be back.

About two years ago my insurance AND I had to switch pharmacy from CVS to walgreens very time I use their pharmacy they forget a prescription or they didn't read the script right or didn't even fill my prescription I am getting so tired I must switch immediately to another pharmacy.

Consumer Service in Pharmacy so unprofessional. The inside lobby will have you waiting around the counter for 15mins while employees are just standing around and talking not making eye contact with consumers. My service(money) is no longer allowed there.

Scheduled my booster shot at 7:15pm and it was closed. I called the next day they said they had no Pharmacist. No one make reservations there and might as well close this location down. Just boycott Walgreens all together as it's just a bad experience.

The pharmacy is understaffed. The wait at the pharmacy is always needlessly long. Additionally, it seems like this Walgreens is not able to fill same day scripts. It takes them days if not weeks to fill scripts. Don’t come here for any pharmacy needs.

Waited for an hour after my set appointment time. Staff at this location are severely understaffed and undertrained. On top of that, you'll be forced to wait in their lobby amidst tweakers and basket cases.

Slowest pharmacy I have ever been to. It’s normal to sit in line, whether in the drive thru or inside, for 20-30 min. Don’t even bother trying to call. Horribly under staffed!
