Tl;dr: Team dental undoubtedly provided great service. But I’m appalled at how poor and shady their billing services turned out to be. I came in for and emergency exam due to pain in my gums. The dentist was so patient, explaining everything to me and taking her time, and the service was nice overall. The dentist and I decided it would be good for me to come back when some of the pain went away and I agreed. As I walked out, I made sure to ask the woman at the desk if I owed a co-pay or would have to pay anything (exams are advertised as $0 on their website). She looked at my insurance’s benefits document and said I should not. A few weeks later I came back for a cleaning (advertised as being $0) as planned with the dentist. Once again, I have to highlight how phenomenal the dentist was. As I walked out and begin scheduling a follow up, I’m told I owe $110. This was shocking because I was told I shouldn’t owe anything but, knowing the complication of insurance, I pay. I ask again, whether I’ll have to pay anything for the cleaning, once again advertised as being $0 on their website. The woman says no. Shortly after, I move out of state. Over one month after that appointment, I call to make sure I don’t owe anything. Mind you, claims should have settled at this point. I'm told I have no balance. Not even two weeks later, I get an email saying I owe $65. I call in to get clarification why. The lady says someone from billing will call me. Over a week goes by and no one does. I call again and I am told the same thing. It’s now been over two weeks and I am yet to get a call. So as mentioned before, go here for good service. But also be prepared for unexplained bills to come your way and back and forth between them and your insurance.

I came here for a full exam and cleaning. To start off the dental assistant made a very inappropriate comment during my x-ray, when my mouth was open she stated " I bet you keep your spouse happy". That comment was very unprofessional and I do not know what provoked her to make that type of joke. Now on to my appointment , my appt was for a full exam and cleaning they only did x-ray's then told me to get up and come to the front to go over payment process. I have insurance so I thought they just wanted to go over numbers really quick. I asked one of the workers were they still going to do the cleaning, she told me yes. Then the front worker told me my insurance did not offer coverage for basic cleaning, which was not true they did, it is apart of preventive care. I then offered to pay for the cleaning out of pocket and she told me that it could not be done until 1pm (my appt was at 11am) because the dentist was doing a procedure, keep in mind the exam and cleaning was the whole reason for the appointment. So pretty much I did not get anything I wanted done, they offered to reschedule me, I choose not to go forth with this company. The dentist herself was very nice and professional that is the only reason why I am giving it stars.

This experience was not as good as before. We waited 39 minutes after the appt. time and was told that they could not service my daughter because she needed oral surgery. She was NOT seen by the doctor at all and this decision was based off of a six month old X-ray. I asked if the other wisdom teeth could be pulled and was told no due to an issue with another patient who waited 27 minutes to be seen. Both appts. were scheduled for the same time. The doctor arrived LATE and I know this because I heard the assistant say I waited for you before I put someone in the chair. I thought all doctors look at the schedules to see what procedures are being done and plan accordingly......... Obviously I was wrong. We scheduled a few weeks ago and should not have been told this today especially since she did not lay eyes on her and made that decision. A call was made to the other facility to accommodate us AFTER I said we needed to be accommodated for this inconvenience. I appreciate the young lady at the front desk for being apologetic and trying to explain what the doctor did not. I consider that very unprofessional on her part.

Staff was welcoming and attentive to me.no wait. Ushered right in, temp taken, all good. Dr. Baker is always on top of my care. Our history is over 25 years and I’ve been with him since he had a small office on 87th by the old Food Basket. When you have a good physician or dentist who has your best interest like you’re family, you stay with them! I have soft teeth and as much as I’ve tried to care for them over the years my upper teeth with dentures were not serving me well. Over several years we planned on dental implants. I saved and got a dental insurance plan to assist with the cost. I got a new smile and a great bite in 2013. Nine years later I’m happy to say I have never eaten better or smiled more! I have adjustments here and there. This was my first visit at the Bronzeville office and it is awesome! Love the space!

This place is top tier and elite! Very professional and super courteous team. Dr. EJ is amazing! The minute she walks in she brings with her a bright smile lighting up the room. I wish they did braces because I def would have come here instead of the place I went to. I didn't feel rushed or like I was an inconvenience. Didn't feel like I was crammed into an overbooked schedule. I was in and out for my cleaning. I'll be coming here for my after braces care once they're removed in September. My only recommendation is for somebody to fix where it says the office is. My map had it located around the corner off of Michigan. Not sure who can fix that. Other than that great service and friendly atmosphere!

3 is me being nice and giving them credit for the decent service from previous visits. I was just so disappointed with my last visit that i wont be back. Firstly, I travel from Tinley park to support your business, and i had an appointment that was scheduled for September 6th which no one put in the system. I traveled a long way just to have to reschedule my appointment. Then i came back for the reschedule which was a routine cleaning and i had to wait almost 2 hrs to get seen and get a rushed and painful cleaning. I was compensated partly by receiving one of the cleanings free ( it was me and my son), but that was before the 2 hr wait.

I actually googled them the reviews were everything they said the were . Super nice polite courtesy and they treated me really well she explained the process and procedure. They worked with me once I found out my dental insurance . I don’t like the dentist but they made me change my mind and I will recommend u go there for all your dental needs I wish remembered all there names very grateful n pleased. The deep cleaning was not as bad I thought it was going to be . I am so happy that I see a difference and I can’t stop looking at my teeth . Thank you so much TeamDental

I generally don’t have a track record enjoying a trip to the dentist but I have to say my visits to this dental team has hands down been the best I’ve experienced. Everyone is friendly and patient, the atmosphere is extremely clean/ staff followed covid protocols amazingly and the doctors as well as the techs were amazing. Prices are very reasonable as well. I highly recommend this facility for your dental care.

A wonderful team of very qualified personnel. An almost painless experience. Kudos especially to Both doctors who serviced me. Initially Dr Baker then Dr. Raveena Shah. The entire staff was very professional and friendly I was not nervous or tense because of the care and sensitive manner given me. Last but not least the cost for services were very affordable. I strongly recommend this Dental-Team

The wait can be ridiculous and they reschedule alot.I regret starting my root canal here. Appointments don’t matter. Doctors schedules inconsistent. I will not be continuing with them for the rest of my treatment plan *I returned because I had to finish the procedure with them. They validated my frustration with the scheduling but that’s all.

Team Dental has been my dentist for about two years. I am impressed with everyone, from the front desk to actual dental work. Team Dental is compassionate, warm, and kind. Yesterday I had an emergency extraction and today my mouth isn't hurting and the sweĺling has gone down tremendously. Thank God for Team Dental, they are life savers.

Great dentist team and modern wide space and washrooms. My wife anxious and Dr. Covington, she was great. all treatmants and payment plans great. okay there are cheaper plans, but also Boss Dr. Baker friendly. The online scheduling system does not work out good, so double check by phone if u have earliest or latest apppointments.

Oh my gosh. Team Dental Bronzeville is Absolutely amazing. The best service and staff offering a clean environment and workspace. The place is big, organized, and open late for those that need urgent care. They do not take medical insurance. Therefore be ye ready to pay out of pocket for dental care well worth it.

This place is amazing ! The customer service is awesome! Everyone is so nice and professional , im blown away . They made me feel valued and comfortable. Dr.Shah did such a awesome job and was extremely knowledgeable about her field ! This is the best dental team I've ever gone to! I highly recommend them.

So kinda nervous and scared when it comes to strangers and the dentist. Well they made me feel so comfortable and at home considering what I’m going through right now. Had a great experience with the doctor. The wait time for my appointment was extremely long. I would’ve liked to been notified that there was going to be a longer wait to see doctor and why. By phone or upon entering the office. Emergencies can happen. Staff is efficient and friendly.

I am so excited that my niece recommended Team Dental. Dr.Baker and staff are wonderful. Everyone is so nice and polite. They care about your needs, and the facility is nice and clean. Pain is nowhere in my vocabulary when it comes to my mouth.

Dr. Ilokwu puts an emphasis on educating patients. Often healthcare providers forget that aspect of the treatment plan. She’s personable, open to the questions of their patients and is a pillar to the Bronzeville and South Shore communities!

Awesome dentist and staff! However, the invoice mailed was incorrect and never corrected after many phone calls to their office. Cannot get a hold of bookkeeping to correct errors. No longer a customer because of bookkeeping. .
