Don’t look any further! Ted Byrt Desjardins was my first attempt at searching for an insurance company that would provide me with affordable and reliable insurance plans. I am more than pleased that I didn’t need to contact any other insurance companies! From the start of my journey with Desjardins I was greeted with warmth, kindness, empathy and understanding. More so, I was put in the hands of Susan with whom I had an immediate connection and lots of laughs with while we made our way through to the best insurance plans to fit my needs and more importantly, my budget. I had been with my previous insurance company for 33 years, so it was a bit of a difficult decision to make the leap. Yet, I have full confidence this leap is one of the best leaps I made for myself and my well being. No issues, until I tried to cancel my tenants insurance. They asked for proof of my new policy, which I provided. Then they needed more supporting documents from my old landlord, proof of tenant termination, which I didn't have. Finally had to call Desjardin directly and get them to cancel it for me and they're still trying to charge me for 5 whole days in a place where I no longer live or did live for the period they're trying to charge me for; it's like nobody has ever tried to cancel their policy after moving. Save yourself the trouble and go somewhere where "they're best" doesn't involve you making all the calls and doing their job for them while they shirk all accountability, make excuses, and blame others.

I would like to thank Saira Qureishy for her excellent service at Ted Byrt , she doesn't put me under precious when i call to ask information about my car insurance , she tells me numbers but if im not comfortable with what she mention she find away to make me feel satisfied as a customer , if you are looking for a good insurance company visit them they have the quality service . I had the pleasure to work with Mr. Rob Sanchez. I was looking for an Auto Insurance quote and Rob was extremely professional, helpful and pleasant to deal with. The whole process from beginning to when I get my pink card only took a few phone calls. He is informative and knowledgeable. Since we have house insurance with Desjardin as well, he was making sure our house insurance was done right even when it was not part of the conversation. He did his due diligence to make sure everything goes smoothly. I would highly recommend Mr Sanchez if anyone is looking for an insurance product.

We have always been insured through Ted and his staff. They are always super helpful and professional. And they make it so easy!! There are no hidden clauses or ‘small print’ that catches you out! We recently had to file a claim and Rob Sanchez was amazing. He went through our policies with us and found ways to add discounts we didn’t really pay attention to before. He was super helpful and knew his stuff. It was like talking to an old friend. It could be you may find insurance a bit cheaper elsewhere but you won’t get the same service and honesty like we do with these guys.

I started out having no issues and everyone had been so helpful and kind. Today I received a call telling about a change to my insurance due to a traffic violation that I now have. I understand and was reasonable that it would effect and raise my insurance but what I didn’t appreciate was how I was treated afterwards. I have been here for years and there was absolutely no understanding, compassion, or helpful suggestions. A flat out not providing insurance to a loyal customer and I am very upset and disappointed to be treated this way.

Susan was extremely professional and courteous, she had went above and beyond her duties in assisting with my car insurance. Very satisfied with the visit. Since I recently arrived in Canada, I had no Canadian driving experience and no insurance. I provided all my documents that I had, my driving experience in Ukraine (15 years), as well as insurance for the last 2 years from Ukraine - everything was taken into account, the insurance payment was as comfortable as possible. They definitely deserve all those high ratings! Interior is super clean and comfortable. We were greeted and offered drinks right away. Regee was our agent, she was super friendly and knowledgeable! For precautions they have transparent dividers between the clients and staff members. Hand sanitizers were provided close to the entrance.
