"Disgusting experience this morning where at the self service till I had the typical “unknown item in bagging area” to which a young woman came to help me but as I looked away she took the opportunity to commit a stone cold stunner on me, immediately pinning me for 3 counts and robbing me of the Worldwide Heavyweight Fall Anywhere title"
Tesco Express is a convenient and reliable option for grocery shopping, offering a wide range of products at competitive prices. With multiple locations throughout the UK, Tesco Express is easily accessible and perfect for those who need to grab some groceries on the go. One of the standout features of Tesco Express is its well-organized layout and clear signage, making it easy for shoppers to find what they're looking for quickly. The store also offers a good selection of fresh produce, meat, and bakery items, as well as a variety of household essentials and personal care products. Another great feature of Tesco Express is its excellent customer service. The staff are friendly, knowledgeable, and always willing to help shoppers find what they need. They are also quick to restock products when needed, ensuring that customers can always find what they're looking for. Overall, Tesco Express is a great option for anyone looking for a quick and easy shopping experience. Its convenient locations, competitive prices, and wide selection of products make it a go-to for many shoppers, while its excellent customer service and well-organized layout ensure a stress-free shopping experience. Highly recommended!
Staff were the most horrible people i'v ever had encounter at a shop. I went to pay at the checkout where 2 people usually are behind the tobacco counter, and had 6 items. The lady serving me was alright and said "i'll let you off this time but its 5 items or less to check out here" which was fine, i was polite and thanked her. But then the other lady behind the counter came over and said "i told you that last week!" i said "i havnt been served by you in my life!" she said "yes you have, I recognise your faces!" to me and my friend. She was implying that I was lying and i didnt like her tone. She was an elderly woman, blonde with glasses. if the managers reading this and you have a clear idea who this is, I suggest you give her the sack, as this has put me off going to tesco metro, maybe i'll go to sainsburys instead from now on...
Very convenient and well stocked ,the staff are friendly and helpful. However a big letdown is the pharmacy located in the store, some of the most unhelpful and arrogant people you can meet, one older lady (Brenda) in particular, she is so full of her own importance in my experience one person that should not be near customer's.I have complained to the management about her nasty attitude. If you need a prescription my advice is go somewhere else,I was told they require 7 days to put the orders up.Thats unacceptable for people that need important medicine.Disgusting and they are playing fast and loose with people's health.I am so annoyed with this I have emailed the CEO of Tesco and fully expect a explanation.
Shopped here regularly when I lived in bristol city centre a few years back. Went in while visiting a few days ago and noticed the gate on entrance. Soon enough realised when trying to leave through it empty handed (and be denied by the rude security guard) that it was installed as anti homeless architechture to prevent homeless from stealing. This is absolutely disgusting and meant I had to push through people queing at the checkouts (during a pandemic no less!) to leave the store. Won't be shopping at this location again. Bristol has a serious homeless problem and Tescos are so compassionless they think homeless should starve instead losing a few pounds profit. Absolutely pathetic.
Disgusting experience this morning where at the self service till I had the typical “unknown item in bagging area” to which a young woman came to help me but as I looked away she took the opportunity to commit a stone cold stunner on me, immediately pinning me for 3 counts and robbing me of the Worldwide Heavyweight Fall Anywhere title. I feel I should be entitled to buy bread at my local Tesco without over ambitious wannabe wrestlers abusing their role in order to claim titles off of other hard working sportspeople. I don’t mean to be vindictive but I hope they understand that if we don’t settle this soon in Tesco Broadmead, I will be forced to address this at Summerslam.
It's diddy Tesco! If Tesco did one stop, this is it. Convenience in the centre of town. Can buy a full weeks shopping here, just not your usual stuff. If a normal Tesco sold a million items, this 40,000 ... So a lot smaller. It has almost all the basics, and not much else. Great news tho, if it's on offer in big Tesco, it'll be on offer here too. Plus you still get plenty of them, clubcard priced items. You can still get your smokes and lottery, and a good choice of plonk, n booze, and beers. I use this place weekly, and more. For a small version of a big Tesco, it's ok here. You just need to remember it's smaller Tesco.
This place has just gone downhill and self service so the Express in the shop title can be removed, only one manned till in the whole store. I was in there this morning and wanted lottery which you can't buy at SS tills so queued up in the queue for lottery which also deals with cash payments and parcels. Ahead of me there were ten people and after not moving forward for 10 minutes I handed my shopping, not in a basket, to a member of staff and walked out saying I'll be served quicker in Sainsburys two doors away, I was in and out of Sainsburys in less time than I had spent queuing in Tesco.
Went there and there were Asda Products so I assumed they were free and this women proceeded to give her toddler to me and it peed on me. I went to the bathroom in fear of my life and saw a tampon filled with pee. I got so scared my grandma had to come pick me up from clevedon and I had to stay in the hosptial for 7 hours while they gave me liquids. I belive it was the low quality Asda products but I do not recall. I do have a heart problem so that may be the problem. But came home and tried their new hoops. 10/10
Today, the salesperson where is tobaco. didnt sale for me.salesworker told me that I have a lot of goods. Although I had three goods on hand and my son had 3 goods, not served me and sent us to the checkout, where there was a very long queue. We had to wait 40 minutes. Although before us, she sold other people 5 to 6 products. And this kind of discrimination is already beginning. I will write Complain on her. Bad salesworker.
Good choice of products for an Express. But the staff! Some are really good, professional and helpful. But a number are negligent, grumpy, and downright unprofessional, to the point of real rudeness. And no, it's not a case of having a bad day. It's consistent, those that are good are always good. Those that are bad, are always terrible. I've witnessed some really bad abusive behaviour. Surely managers can see this happening?
Went here this evening at 22:45. There is this special Ben jerry deal and goodfella pizza. Buy each one of your choice and its only £5. The older man who seemed the manager said it was only possible for Ben jerry Brownie. However on the Tesco app it said: ALL different choices... and the deal didnt work on the till and the young man helped us but at the end we only got £1 discount....
This has been a store I have used for many years, but when visited today was shocked too discover all tills have now been replaced with self service tills, I left all of my shopping at the front of the store, I will never use tesco again. If your going too put people out of jobs and not deliver good customer service then what's the point in using you. Will use othere shops!
I know this is a tesco but really I use it everyday the staff are so helpful and friendly I'm partially sighted and they never hesitate to offer any assistance I may need some of the checkout girls know me by name all always stop and say hi when they see me in store its the little things that make this my number one choice for shopping
I like this Tesco so much but today I went in there I got very upset because a woman working where the customer service counter she wasn't very friendly .so people who need to buy 4 5 items and want to buy example lottery scath card they can't buy because they have 4 5 items in hand got told off before know what they want
Serious lack of loose vegetables, NOT in uneccesary packaging ie. Onions now you are forced to buy a pack of 3 in a net packaging which is just ridiculous. I don't think its fair to limit buying loose vegetables. Selection is in general pretty limited compared to a larger tesco, prices are sometimes higher here.
OK, its a big corner shop. It doesn't stock a full range but is convent if your in the area and Lidl doesn't have what you want but a BIG downfall is the self check out only takes cards, NO CASH. So the main checkout can have a long queue but if you want or need to pay by cash they don't want to server you.
I like this store, produce is good and prices as well, I go there every day, but recently they started using air refresheners in the store and the aroma is HORRIBLE, I cannot stand that smell, it stinks, please stop using them , they make me sick, it is hard to breathe!!!!! It was better without them.
A much better meal deal selection than Sainsbury's have to offer and the bottled beer is cheeper also. A good range and variety of produce, my goto store on my to or from work. Never enough staff on the tills though, trying to push you to do there job for them with the self service tills.
Not a fan of this store. It's the kind of place you stop by only for a quick buy. There are many weird people around it, and shoplifters have no problem stealing items and just walking outside like nobody's business. Also, workers usually chat with each other and don't help customers.
I'd like to compliment one of your employees Elizabeth for the excellent service she provided me and sorted out problem also helped me with SSE top up on multiple occasions with Can do attitude, being positive and very helpful, really appreciate superior customer service.
Conveniently situated in the town centre. Very large for an express store and accommodates all of the added traffic well. Prices are standard for all Tescos, slightly pricey but typical good quality. Can get a little busy at closing hours. Would come back …
Staff virtually nonexistent. Often very, very busy and poorly stocked as well. A lot of the fresh produce and products have very close expiry dates to the time of purchase so beware and choose carefully to not buy something that will just go off the next day.
Dunno what others are on about here, I've never had any problem with staff, they generally have all the essentials well-stocked and they have queues, because it's a central store in a busy city, literally nothing they can do about that.
I will try to avoid this place if I can. Very busy all the time, Tesco has also gone downhill in terms of value for money. On the plus side they do evri returns that are efficient and the kiosk staff are very nice.
It's part of the Tesco chain, but the prices can be higher than the bigger outlets. If it was only a few pence, not much of a problem, but when increased by sometimes more than £1 > £2.50 I find it extortionate!!!
Such a bad behavior from the man in the till. Unacceptable way to deal with the people. Rude, aggressive and unpolite. I felt so bad I couldn't even ask for a formal complaint. I won't go back to that store again
Friendly staff. Good quality of food except bread and fruits - you need to eat them in next 2 days. After that I could only throw it to the trash bin. Sometimes I have a problem with buying chicken breasts.
This is the 3rd time in a role i brought a bottle of drink which is opened. To be fair, it's not their fault, and i should check it before i left. But the shop really need to do something about it.
It's mostly got what small Tesco's have. It has loads of self-service tills. Actually, it has maybe a slightly more interesting selection than some small Tescos. At least when I went.
Largest Tesco in central Bristol. A wide range of goods at relatively low prices. Don't forget to get a Clubcard app on your phone - it's convenient and makes prices even lower!
I've been traveling around Europe for 3 months now, this is basically the first time I've interacted with friendly and helpful supermarket staff since I've been here …
Very nice store great location good range of products can get very busy after noon staff friendly Jay the security guard knowledgeable. Darren helpful and awo on checkout
I feel like I’m in this Tesco every day, but I’m not complaining. It’s amazing. Has a great choice of everything and a bunch of 8 bananas for under £1! What a bargain
Great for getting shopping whilst at work. Could maybe do with some more security staff? Given the location, shoplifters and aggressive 'customers' can be a problem.
Decent Tesco. Avoid between 12 and 14 as it's utterly packed. Very good queue management tbh. Good prices not the typical massive uplift for local stores imo.
Tesco are partner and work together with EVRI. Without announcing to tesco customers tesco workers always shuts EVRI label machine and not accepting parcel.
Everyone working here is always so helpful and smiling, no matter how busy it can get! (And trust me, it can get hectic here!) Especially Tia! …
Did catch his name but working tonight 09/10/17...older gentleman with grey hair...excellent service, went out of his way to help with a smile
Nice selection and determined staff but always queues at rush hour. Some of the checkout staff are a bit distant/aloof, but most are awesome!
Waiting for free till is madness sometimes but here is not many other places where you can get very cold drink or just meal deal all day.
Over priced convenience store with basic selection and up scaled prices compared to normal Tesco branches and Tesco extras support local
Good choice considering it’s express it has everything you need, it’s clean as well. Only been here once so far so can’t say much more.
Horrible staff!!! Horrible staff!!! Horrible staff!!! So rude and don't care about customer. Don't go there. Work harder and go to M&S.
Not as good as the LIDL. Prices aren't as great, and the staff aren't as friendly. Other than that it's perfectly serviceable.
It's a tesco but more costly than the bigger out of town model , guess that what happen it the shop is in a major city centre
Shout out to Mitchell, soundest security guard in Bristol. Other staff are friendly and helpful, glad this is my local Tesco
Awful customer service from kiosk/self service staff and terrible system since having the self serve expanded.
Tesco mobile linked to express closes at least 20 minutes early so don't bother going if you're tight on time
Self checkout attendant too busy chatting, watched a lady shoplifting in front of him. 18:30 02/04
Not as much choice as a supermarket but still handy for topping up, milk, fruit, eggs etc;
Deliberately under staffing the cash till. Why don’t the self service tills accept cash?
Evri parcel returns never works. I don't know why they even advertise this service.
Not as good as the LIDL. Prices aren't as great, and the staff aren't as friendly.
Prices slightly higher than regular Tescos so good for a small shopping trip only
Tia she is such an amazing soul, very considarate, together with the security.
The staff are disgusting, which overshadowed an experience of a decent shop.
Love this market. There are always plenty of items and staffs are friendly.
Good selection of well priced products that are served by friendly staff.
Very good place to some quick shopping before you catch the the bus home
Standard Tesco. In an area that attracts some interesting customers...
The busiest Tesco I have ever been in - always seem to be big queues.
Only 2 flavours of porridge. Where's my apple and blueberries???1!!1
Staff are rude, ignorant and in some cases don't speak English.
Very helpful staff plenty of choices just right fast shopping
Meal deal in Uk is quite reasonable One main +drink + snack
New easy layout, good selection of products and many offers.
Good selection, friendly and helpful staff. Quick service.
Very busy most of the time, should have all you need
Strange layout bit otherwise just your average tesco
Okay for picking up essentials you may have missed
Staff were really helpful. Good opening hours.
One of the guards at the entrance is rude.
Superb store. Fulfill my all requirements.
Big store, good selection for city centre
Super convenient and friendly staff!
Good service and all in one point
