TL;DR: First car we bought, the guys here were great and helpful. BUT the car had $6,300 in pre-existing damage which I sincerely hope the dealer did not know about. It was unsafe to drive and unethical to sell. Second car had issues too, but they acknowledged some and took care of us in the deal. Like any used car, HAVE IT INSPECTED! and they will take care of the rest. Updated to 1 star because we are still financially hurt from the first car and second car has cost us about $1000 in repairs too. Edit (update): Bought another car from them, a 2013 Golf TDI. This time we inspected it closely and found it needed wire repairs, new tires, and a wheel bearing. Gabe was really nice and helpful, and they took the repairs into consideration. *The car was also missing a splash shield under the engine, and couldn't be driven in the rain as the belt would slip. We replaced it at our expense. Today (10/23/19) we had to have the car towed home because the rear muffler hanger bolts fell out (likely they were loose). Also, while I was under the car I saw a brace was VERY loosely hanging on with 4 nuts that were just barely on the threads. Pics of new bolts and loose brace uploaded.The dealer did mention they had the catalytic converter replaced, so who ever did the exhaust repairs was extremely negligent. I've since repaired the wires and bearing myself, as well as the exhaust and cross brace problems. And I and am looking at new rims and tires as the car came with 17" alloy rims from the factory but had 16" steel wheels with hubcaps as it was sold. Beyond that, the car is in good shape. *Uploaded repair estimate for substantial pre-existing damage on my 2015 Abarth* Guys here are nice and helpful. But I don't think they do a proper pre-inspection on cars they sell, so plan accordingly. I purchased a car from them around March. At purchase, I saw the car I bought (a Fiat Abarth) was missing a fender liner, there was a broken wire hanging out of the fender well, and the bumper was held on by a wire (thick bailing wire) on the passenger side. These guys actually arranged for a new fender liner to be installed and the wire repaired, which was nice of them. But there was nothing done on the bumper. Shortly after purchase, I soon noticed the car I bought had a boost leak (buddy has one, his ran much better and boost went higher than the 11psi my car did). Well, I took her into the shop and they found MASSIVE collision damage to the undercarraige including a bent K member, bad CV axle, torn boost hose, broken intercoolers, and many other parts. It was very dangerous to drive as it was. It ended up having over $6k in pre-existing damage total (submitted photo of estimate). On a $12k car. And none of it was covered by the warranty I bought because it was pre-existing and collision related. This almost financially ruined me and the car has been in the shop for months (I had it back for a few days just a week ago, which it spent at the dealership to fix some mechanical problems with the fuel tank and programming that developed shortly AFTER purchase which were covered under the warranty. Now it's back at the first shop for more body work.... parts take a long time to get for Fiats so that is why it's taken months) leaving me without transportation to get to work. Again, I don't believe these guys meant to conciously or maliciously sell a car in such poor condition, but it was incredibly hard on us financially so I had to submit a review. Also, the car needed a new fuel tank and a computer reflash at the dealer, but fortunately the warranty I bought covered those two things since they developed after I bought the car. So please PLEASE have a mechanic do a pre-inspection on used cars before you buy. Don't be stupid like me. Again, to their credit they took care of the fender liner and were genuinely nice people. But if they had bothered to investigate why the bumper was wired on they would've seen this car was very close to being a total loss, unsafe to drive, and unethical to sell as it was.

I was looking for a vehicle in Austin, Texas which is where I live. The requirements were strict, the down payments were in excess of $5,000, and the staff at all of the lots and dealerships that I went to were very inattentive and sometimes made me feel like I was not even there. I went online and after some googling I noticed a place called Texas Auto Trade Center in San Antonio. The remainder of this story is nothing but an honorable mention. Arash, my salesman, got back to me promptly and inquired about my wants and needs. He and Gabe (the financial analyst) worked together like well-oiled machinery to make everything happen smoothly and promptly. The office was clean, the vehicles were nice, the process was hassle-free and I was kept in constant communication about what was going on with my application and what I needed to do. Topping this all off was the fact that I was treated like I was an established customer who had been here many times. The atmosphere was welcoming and family-like. I wound up with an excellent deal, even with less than perfect credit, and a 2017 Ford Escape that was way beyond what I thought I could get... At an affordable price!! Thank you to Arash, Gabe and every other employee that I couldn't name but that still welcomed me with warm and amusing conversations. I know where my next vehicle will come from: TEXAS AUTO TRADE CENTER!!

For anyone in need a a GOOD used car, this should be your first stop, and after you see what else is out there, you will most likely be back to make it your last stop, because you'll see that this is NOT the typical used car dealer that tries to sell junk that no one reputable wanted. I looked at a LOT of other cars before finding this place, but I used to be a condition inspector for a large insurance company, then a collision shop service writer and estimator. You'd be amazed at the junk other used car lots are trying to unload for way too much money. Used cars generally come from an auction, it's up to the dealer to decide whether to obtain cheap cars with damage that can be hidden, or better cars with only minor maintenance needed that will be performed properly before resale. This dealer is of the latter kind, they sell great cars for a fair price. I waited a month before leaving a review here - just to be sure, and after a month, I'm still very happy with my purchase.

We were looking for used cars following an accident. With 4 kids we needed to do a lot of online research and then only visit serious interests. We found a nice car on Tx Auto Trade Center's website, liked the online info and picts, test drove the car down the city roads and highway, and then waited the weekend. We needed to research the year and make and details of the car. Arash gave us all the info needed, details about the history of the car, carfax, warranty and maintenance information and was always just a phone call away as I had questions. This is the newest car we have owned (least miles from car to purchase date), the nicest car we've owned (with fancy trim package and bells and whistles) and whenever I had any questions Arash had the answers with a friendly smile. I highly recommend Tx Auto Trade Center and Arash.

Stopped by the dealership on a whim looking for a gas saver. Arash politely introduced himself and asked what my goal was. He had the perfect car in mind for me. Gave me his opinion on what would be best for my credit and sent me two buyers orders, one for my bank and one for the one he likes to use. His bank was the way to go with a way better option than my own. He also helped me find a good aftermarket warranty that was in my budget and would take care of what I needed. He patiently waited all week for my finances to get in order so that I could pick up on the following Saturday. Arash was very polite and professional the entire time and closing was fast and easy. I would highly recommend Arash and Texas Auto to anyone looking for a good used car.

It is a smaller lot but trust me when I say the cars they stock are quality and reasonably priced. Bought a car 2 months ago turns out the car was a lemon , after putting down 4500$ and having payments of 623$/month . Tried talking to the car lot management and all they said was " you should of pitched the insurance" wether we would have or not that does not dictate the amount of time the car took to break down. Now my credit is ruined due to a locked transmission and a car lot that will not even take responsibility for it's mess .

Got taken care of by Gabriel and Alex. They had a lot of nice high end cars on the lot. Informed me of where and how they buy all their cars, and the whole process involved as far as inspection and repair. They also informed me on everything they did to to car prior to putting it on the lot. I did notice a leak coming from the transmission and they repaired it right away. Excellent customer service would definitely buy from them again.
