This company painted the outside of my house. Let me say at the outset that the end result was good. But I am being restrained when I say that the process was not good. O. Attention to detail was often lacking. This crew for the most part didn’t check their work on my job. So I had to be constantly vigilant, meaning I had to put my life on hold and stay home while the job is ongoing. The crew’s failure to ensure that the work is up to professional standards is my biggest complaint. They would rectify a situation only after it was pointed out. (A few examples: a window was caulked shut; several places required Bondo and repainting; some paint was failing and had to be scraped and redone; a coarse texture was sprayed onto several trim pieces, which needed sanding down and repainting; the crew had to be told to get the painting debris out of the yard; masking tape was left on the gutters.) O. The crew trampled a bed of plants I had been nurturing through this extreme drought; you couldn’t even tell there had been plants in the ground. O. They said they’d protect my newly-refinished deck, but they failed to do so and got paint and caulk on it. I am going to have to pressure wash and refinish it again. O. The crew is extremely inefficient, with half of them sitting around a great deal when anyone could see that there were tasks that could have been accomplished. The crew leader lost some of the supplies need for carpentry repair. They don’t keep the worksite very clean while work is ongoing. They are not very careful, and left things in my neighbors’ yards a couple of times. 0. Communication was not good. Often, the crew leader said he’d be back at a certain time, then showed up hours later or not at all. The project manager made a 4 o’clock appointment with me on one day, then failed to show or say he wasn’t coming. O. The three-day job went into six days (began on Friday and ended on Thursday), with two and a half of those days with my 23 windows masked over, making the house dungeon-like. As I say, when all is said and done, the house looks good. I’m just glad this crew was not painting the inside of my house.

Unreal!!! Let me tell you about our home. We decided to buy a preowned home instead of building so house wasn’t up to our specific tastes. My wife researched and fell in love with the Texas Farmhouse look. I went through and vetted half a dozen companies and couldn’t find anyone to meet our wants/ needs. That was until I came across “That 1 Painter”. I was introduced to Allen who would get things off the ground and provided the estimate and answered all preliminary questions. He appointed Michael as our project manager and this is where the fun began. Michael went through the entire house with me and covered every single detail. I asked a ton of questions and he answered them all thoughtfully and with care. He even educated us on best colors for house trims as well as what limewash will do for our brick. He did everything and I mean everything he said he was going to do. He communicated with me constantly and I never felt neglected by him. He used painters Enrique and Luis to over see the actual applications of the paints and limewash. These guys are incredible. No mistakes. They paid attention to every detail. I like to randomly surprise companies doing work on my house to make sure job is being done diligently. Anytime I came home work was being done with intensity. No laziness no sloppiness. Always yes sir no sir even if I addressed them by first name. My wife went through and wanted more distressing in brick and they happily did it. I mean these guys love what they do and it truly shows. When it’s your home you want the best and these guys deliver. We truly love our home and even have people want yo take pictures in front of it lol. If you need a painter who provides quality then look no further. This is it. We needed painting professionals who could paint our new construction home before move-in, and to paint our old home which we turned into a rental property. We needed both jobs done quickly. I had several colors in the new construction home with some very specific transitions and I was blown away with 1. How quickly Pedro responded to my initial requests, 2. How quickly & beautifully Juan (at the new construction in Travisso) and Jose (at the rental property in Westside Preserve) executed my specific and possibly out of the box requests. Both jobs were finished ahead of time, even though they did some minor wood trim replacement/repair work. Pedro was so knowledgeable and professional. This was my first time working with painters prior to move-in and also having a rental property and Pedro answered all my questions and gave great advice including paint color and finish selections without making me feel dense. Their quote wasn’t the lowest, but they were the best of the bunch and we will 100% hire them again for our future painting needs. Highly recommend. You won’t regret it.

I don't often write reviews even when I get good service, but I am compelled to share this review. My team was: Pedro (Project Manager), Federico (Painter), and Jacob (Painter). The team of three worked together very well starting with Pedro who was very attentive to my requests and questions, and very timely in response. Federico and Jacob, were very friendly and respectful and did a superb job painting my kitchen cabinets, ceiling and kitchen dining area on the agreed upon timeline and with an excellent clean-up! The day after the work was complete, by mistake my husband dropped our blender and it took a big nick out of the island cabinet door. Very quickly Federico was back out to perform the repair - and with a smile. I am so very pleased with the my repainted kitchen cabinets and feel the work was done at a fair price. I rarely write reviews, but I must say that this team of painters was just phenomenal. The entire process was so easy from the estimate, to scheduling, to working with their project manager along the way. We had a whole house paint (ceiling, trim, walls) along with kitchen cabinet painting and some drywall repair. They were SO professional, used high-end paint (which I appreciate they explained exactly what they use and where they source it from), and their team overall did a great job. We completed the final walk through today and didn't find any additional touch-ups that needed to be done. Stephen (estimator), Karen, Peter (project management) and Jose (lead painter) were all wonderful to work with. They were flexible, worked around our other vendors that were working at the house, and added projects as they came up with no issue and provided quick estimates. I am SO pleased with this company and would refer them to anyone!

These guys painted two bedrooms, including the ceiling/window sills and trim. After they finished, I noticed several paint clumps along the walls and small streaks/drips of paint There was also a scratch of paint over an outlet and a small hair that was painted into the window sill. I thought they would clean the walls and spackle the small holes prior to painting, as part of the prep fee. They mostly just painted over the holes. They were supposed to leave all the paint supplies, but the lid on the half full primer bucket was MIA. Just sloppy overall. We notified them of the issues we saw upon completion and they sent the crew back immediately. They fixed the issues I pointed out, but unfortunately I found more clumps on the ceiling later that I hadn’t initially noticed . This was our first time hiring painters and can’t say we were too impressed. For $1800, we expected a more professional looking outcome.

I called That1Painter at the recommendation of a neighbor. In this neighborhood, if a contractor does an excellent job at a fair price, word gets around. We share that information all the time. Pedro Medrano arrived at my house, examined the job, talked with me about the details of how the painting of the fascia around my house would work and how much it would cost. Levi arrived on the day scheduled with another painter and they did a beautiful job, even at the highest peaks. Because they took down some old holiday lights that had been stapled around the front, Levi filled the holes with caulking before painting. Pedro came back to inspect after bondo had been placed on the corners to inhibit water soaking in. I am super happy with the people of That1Painter. Pedro and Levi could not have been more personable and caring about getting the job done well and to my satisfaction. Highly recommend.

Great Communication, Poor work I was referred to That 1 Painter after looking into having my garage floor sealed. The team communicated well and moved quickly to begin the job of installing baseboards and painting my garage. Overall the team did a very poor job adding trim and painting the walls. Zero prep work was completed and it shows in the final product. They were unable to follow instructions. They installed the trim too low, creating problems for me now that I’m having the garage floor finished. I asked them if they wanted me to remove items from the walls and they said they would do it…but never did and I had to go back and remove them later to be properly painted. There are many ugly spots in the wall left, along with paint cracking and peeling. The team left paint all over my garage floor and in my yard. I cannot recommend That 1 Painter to others based on my experience.

That 1 Painter did an above excellent job bringing our 1920's home (that hadn't had any painting work done in over 25 years) back to life. Jose' crew took great care and skill in power washing around the original 1920's glass windows, repairing and replacing any wood, Even rebuilding the two front porch columns Perfectly! they looked original. And painting - OMG each day they painted with great precision and cleaned up each day. The entire job - power washing, wood repairs, porch columns rebuild/replace, And whole house and garage paint only took four & half days. Whenever we need any services that That 1 Painter provides, we will most definitely be calling them again and we have passed their name to all our friends and family. Gordon and Linda Blanchard

My estimator, Yanett, was able to come out to do the estimate very soon after submitting my inquiry and she was prompt, courteous, and professional. She was also very helpful and quick in turning around any changes to the estimate that I sent her. The painters were scheduled for the next week and showed up promptly each morning for all 3 days. They were respectful in moving furniture and asking for our approval of each room when finished and willing to make any touchups as noted. Karen, the project coordinator, was also very professional and pleasant to work with. She reached out and asked what kind of exterior paint we wanted on the stucco instead of just guessing/assuming. Overall, a great experience and can't recommend them enough!

I would recommend this business without hesitation. I was impressed from the start with Cody's honesty, friendliness and no-nonsense approach to what needed to be done. His painters arrived exactly on time (something we haven't experienced with very many contractors), waited for him to arrive with explicit instructions, and completed the job thoroughly and professionally--even a half day ahead of the estimate. You could also see they were very happy in their work, which also usually leads to a good job. Cody returned after they completed the job and performed a thorough inspection to ensure everything was done to my satisfaction. If you choose That 1 Painter, I'm sure you won't be disappointed.

We couldn’t be happier with how the project turned out. We had a leak that required us to cut through the dry wall. Bayron replaced the foam with fire protection foam, repaired and replaced the drywall, repaired the baseboards and retextured and painted the wall. He did a fantastic job and we could not be happier with how it turned out. He was very thorough and quiet when he worked. Pedro was our coordinator and did a great job as there was a last minute issue with the crew that was supposed to come out but he was able to have Bayron fill in the same day that it was scheduled. We will definitely hire That 1 Painter if we need painting work in the future.

We had a great experience working with Peter and Carlos. We scheduled them to paint the interior of our new construction home and then we had to push the start date out several different times due to delays from the builder. Peter was very professional, patient, and flexible throughout those changes and Carlos did a great job on the walls and finished in a timely manner so that we could move in on time. We later found some spots we wanted touched up and Carlos made a trip back to the house that same week to take care of it for us. We're very happy with the pricing and quality of their work and the responsiveness of their team. Highly recommend!

My photos speak for themselves. This company ruined my home with their paint job. When I took action with a Google review- they threatened me and created false claims of the type of customer I was. My photos tell the true story. Argumentative with customer, subpar workers, lower than beginner painting skills in crew that painted my house, late to arrive, late to finish the job, never remedied the painting. Do yourself a favor and go somewhere else. These guys are a liability and you will pay more having someone fix their job. A real nightmare company that used threatening intimidation tactics when I became unsatisfied with their work.

The members of That 1 Painter were truly amazing to work with -- they blew all the other contractors we worked with during the remodel out the water with their professionalism, attention to detail, and timely completion. That 1 Painter was not only the best company we had to work with during our remodel, they are one of the best companies I have EVER worked with. Jose and his team did an exceptional job and Peter the Service manager was very responsive. I can not wait to use them again for our next painting project! Alfonso and his team are so incredibly fast, professional, friendly and talented! I received several bids. They were very competitive, but it was also Alfonso’s enthusiasm, professionalism, knowledge, how quick he got back to me, and how quickly they could start, that sold me. Having been taken advantage of by a previous painter, I was as nervous as a cat on a hot tin roof! However, they did a beautiful job. Worked consistently, reliably and went the extra mile! Too expensive. We did not use their service, but the rep who came out, Angel, was very polite & friendly. We saw their ad on Facebook for kitchen cabinet repainting. We have an older double-wide with particleboard kitchen cabinets. We had them painted about 8 years ago & wanted them repainted. Angel came out to give us a free estimate. He told us that particle board takes a lot more work to make it look good, so I knew right away it was going to be expensive. He said he’d email us the free estimate. We received it the end of the next day. We decided the cabinets didn’t look bad after all.

I had the exterior brick and trim of my house painted and the guys did a great job. Federico and his brother were on time each day, paid attention to detail, and they did a fantastic job. German the project manager was also really great, professional and he remembered the small details I pointed out to him. The on-site crew was amazing and they got done a day early than projected, I’m really happy with the results and they even came back to do a few touch ups when I asked. Highly recommend this company, they aren’t the cheapest but you get what you pay for and they did a really great job.

We are so impressed!! Federico and his crew provided top notch service - they ensured we were happy with every inch of the popcorn ceiling removal and interior wall paint throughout the house when completed. They were super punctual, nice to communicate with and even finished the job early from the estimate! We are pumped with the quality of work and can’t recommend working with That 1 Painter enough. I had a great experience working with That 1 Painter. Allan came out for a walk through quickly after my call to the office, and provided an estimate rather quickly. They completed nearly 4,300 sqft on interior painting--walls, doors, trim, a few stripes, and a two-story foyer; exterior painting included 3 garage doors--a few wood arches and stucco, and they did board and batten in my dining room. Allan was my PM and Frederico was my lead painter; I couldn't be happier with the quality work, quick turn-around, friendly--professional, and the cost. I would definitely recommend them.

I had such a great experience with That 1 Painter! I had them paint and limewash my house exterior, and they went way above and beyond the job. They even took down my gutters to ensure all of the rotting wood underneath was replaced before painting. In addition, I didn’t like the way the limewash turned out initially, and they literally power washed it off and did it again to my liking. I can’t say enough good things about these guys, and I would recommend them a thousand times over! Also, Juan was such a rockstar! The before and after pics are below.

I had the entire interior of my home (3500 sq ft) painted and That 1 Painter did an excellent job. Quality of the crew that painted was excellent, and consisted of Jose and one assistant. Showed up on time every day and did a quality job. I had 4 estimates and while That 1 Painter was not the least expensive, they were in the middle of the other estimates, but I had a good feeling about them. Estimate was fair and they provided excellent communication from their office and as stated earlier, the crew was great. Would recommend and use them again.

Their crew did a fantastic job! They were flexible when some of our other contractors got delayed and showed up on time and ready to work every day. We shopped around for quotes and they were very fairly priced. They painted our kitchen cabinets, mantel, ceiling, and some other miscellaneous walls. They did a fantastic job on the cabinets and repairing cracks in our ceiling, as well as color matching our existing paint. We would definitely use them again for any other painting needs, highly recommend!

My exterior is primarily Stucco. Had two people working, Luis and Carlos. Very professional. They were always on time and left late. They pre-power washed, removed the dried up caulking around the garage and placed new caulking. Scraped and caulked other areas. Very meticulous and cleaned up every single day. These painters did an excellent job painting all our interior walls, ceilings, and cabinets in our kitchen and three bathrooms. We are very pleased! They changed out the hardware at no extra charge because they had to be taken off anyway. Our project manager, Peter, was very responsive and professional, and we ended up adding on more work. We will definitely only use them from now on! Juan, the head painter, was here every day working hard and he and his team did very meticulous work.

We had them paint the entirety of our interior home and it was an absolute nightmare. The quality was. Miserable, and they caused thousands of dollars of damage to our hardwood floors that they still have not paid to repair. The staff were unresponsive, the painters left tons of things painted shut and sloppily done, and we are now going to have to spend thousands of dollars to hire other painters to fix their many mistakes. RUN from these folks. They are not ethical or competent.

My experience with That 1 Painter was amazing from start to end. I must say going into it I was pretty hesitant and worried. Thanks to Yelenia Perez, for such patients and amazing customer service. From choosing colors, style, etc. I went back and forth :) but my expectations were met! The work was incredible and my family and I are completely satisfied. I recently had the pleasure of working with That 1 Painter, and I couldn't be happier with the experience! They are not the least expensive painting company, but the difference in price is worth it for the high quality and the confidence that they would do a good job. Highly recommended.

I called several local places to get estimates over the phone so I could get an idea of money I needed to save/spend. On a project. The REQUIRED to meet in person in order to get a price range which would be a big waste of time for both parties and super demeaning in person, if I couldn’t afford it. There are plenty of great painters out there that can give you an idea of the money you need before having to meet up someone. Do not recommend this company.

I called, explained I’d like to have my bathroom cabinets painted, and an estimator was scheduled to visit the next morning. The painter was available immediately following estimate, so the project started immediately. The painter was organized, meticulous and worked hard to protect my home from disruption. My cabinets were painted beautifully. I couldn’t be happier and will absolutely use That 1 Painter again. Great service and professional painters.

Used this company for popcorn removal. The team did a great job in protecting our flooring. They also hung lots of plastic on the walls, furniture and doorways to contain the dust and debris. Clean up afterwards was quick and complete. Kept us informed along the way. It was a 3 day project for the 2 bedrooms, big vaulted living room and a dining room. Plus primed and 2 coats of paint. Walked the project at the end. Highly recommend That 1 Painter!

I am thankful for That 1 Painter! I was in serious need of some damage that was caused in my home. They came out on time at a fair price and were able to repair the damage and perfectly match the paint. Yanett was a joy to work with as well. She was very professionally and communicated with me about the work that was needed. Their estimator came on a Friday and they started the job on a Monday. They would have been done in less than a week if there were no rains. Called and scheduled an appointment for Monday. The owner called and rescheduled for Wednesday morning. I received a text tp confirm my appointment. I confirmed, and have not heard back from him. I called and left a detailed message and a young lady called me back and apologized. She stated that Angel would be calling me back, and I haven't heard from him. Poor customer service. I hope he doesn't treat all his customers this way.

That 1 painter was recommended to me by a friend. I requested a quote online and within minutes got a call from Jon. He met me at my house 2 days later. He was professional and knew his stuff. I received a quote later that night and the price was fair. The crew he had come out were fast, clean, and left a great finish product. I love the paint job and highly recommend anyone else looking for painting done to use that 1 painter.

Henry and his crew from That 1 Painter did a great job painting the exterior of our house and repairing the wood rot that they found. The result was excellent and our house looks brand new! What impressed me especially was that they fixed the poor repair job that another company had done just a month before. I love that attention to detail and excellence. Awesome experience!! Pedro (PM), Julio (sales) and Fredrico (project lead) are the best! They did an amazing job with our house. It was built in 2006 and had this khaki brown color EVERYWHERE. I’ve hated it since we bought the house. The team made it look like that brown never happened. Our home is so pretty now! I was in tears when I saw it finished. They aren’t the cheapest but I promise it’s worth every penny.

That 1 Painter is pretty solid. We had them come over to paint interior of our house earlier this year and they did a terrific job. The pricing is reasonable and they handled everything from start to finish. They also cleaned up pretty well once they finished. The house looks like a completely new house now, it’s amazing. Will definitely recommend them and also use them in the future

THAT. 1. PAINTER!!!! They’re so customer centric and definitely take the time to listen and understand what it is you’re looking for. Seriously their estimates are free AND they’re super great to work with. They even said no job is too big or too small, we just needed some boards changed and painted over, it wasn’t a problem for them! Definitely coming back to them in the future!

That 1 Painter was so great to work with! They came out within 1 business day to get me a quote and then gave us a great price for their full services of primer, materials, paint, cleanup. This was the most professional paint job I’ve ever had. From the prep work down to the finish work it was exceptional. Peter and his crew were here on time and were able to finish my entire kitchen in a day and a half. They cleaned my kitchen and left it in better condition than I had left it in. I’m using again for the entire interior of my house and I’m glad that I found them.

We have been using Steve at that1painter for all our painting tasks over the last few years. We first met Steve when he was running a groupon deal and hired him. We were very impressed with his skill, professionalism and all around good attitude. He is quick to respond to phone-calls and emails. That1Painter did an excellent job staining our outdoor fence and deck. They also did touch painting to the outside of our stucco home.
