I've realized that appliance shopping is always problematic in some form, so just be mindful during the process. My experience at The Brick was actually better than what I dealt with at Canadian Appliance Source, but it wasn't flawless. I bought a higher-end washer/dryer pair. I knew exactly what I wanted and called ahead to make sure they were in stock and verify pricing/delivery/installation. Trimaan - very helpful salesperson; great on the phone; honoured the price on the in-store label; didn't oversell; and I didn't have to fight for anything. He noted that I would need a steam hose for the dryer, but he did not note that I would need new water hoses for everything else if we wanted their team to complete the install (was told during delivery). He also mentioned checking the vent connector, and we added a new one onto the order over the phone and paid online. Easy. Delivery scheduling - I mentioned repeatedly that the delivery would be through narrow areas in my home, but I had measured and everything should fit. I was asked if I'd need three delivery guys to complete the delivery, but I thought two would be fine since the machines weren't particularly large. We booked two. I was told that the Brick uses an in-house delivery team. Delivery day - Two of (I'm so sorry guys, you were very nice but) the most delicate men I've ever seen arrive within the delivery window. Their truck doesn't show the Brick and they're not wearing any Brick attire (I found out later that the Brick periodically outsources delivery). After showing them the route for delivery, they said that they would need a third person to complete the delivery. The dispatcher told me that we're being rebooked for delivery two days later, and to expect a call to confirm. That call never came, so I called the store the next day. Customer service rebooked me immediately (super smooth, easy interaction) for two days after that (so an extra day), and I received written confirmation within 15 minutes. Delivery day #2 - Three men dressed in Brick gear who look like they could solo-deliver a washing machine show up and giggle at the thought that this was considered a three-person delivery, as expected. Two remove the old machines and bring in the new ones, and the third works on installing. He took one look at our dryer vent connection and tells us we purchased the wrong connector and that he wouldn't be able to attach it. The three guys are all delightful and careful with my new machines and my home. Otherwise, easy fixes by us - We needed to fix the steam hose installation because it was installed on the washer, not the dryer, and the wrong way around. We also installed the dryer vent connector we purchased, by cutting out the old one and replacing it. We did take off a bunch of drywall to do it (obviously we don't expect a delivery team do do that). We also levelled both machines, attached the little feet to the washer, and swapped the dryer door. Overall, the experience was fine, but not spectacular. If you're buying appliances, either hire a professional installer or have an idea of what you're doing. Still, everyone was very nice and I was pleased with the price, most of the customer service, and quick turnaround for in-stock products.

Chrisanthus is super knowledgeable and overall great person. Highly recommended! Update: Although the salesman was good. The rest of the team dropped the ball when it came down to delivery. The delivery day was changed despite both the text and email confirming for the original date. On the day of, the driver informs me that they are only there for pick-up of my old mattress and not dropping anything off. I had to call the store and ask what’s going on because everything confirmed for the original date. They told me that they are currently out of inventory and that I won’t receive my new mattress for another month. So I packed up my old mattress for pick-up for no reason because the exchange won’t happen for another month. I would not shop here again.

Absolutely the worst place to shop furniture. Seeing how you are here checking out reviews, you must have noticed that there are an abundance of negative ones. Most people who have shoped here complain of customer service, which is a huge mistake for such a large company to be poor at. There are others complaining about return or refund policies. My issues are of both. No refund, or even exchange, after less than 24 hours of having delivery of sofa. The complaints don't end there though. Seems a lot of complaints on many different areas of how the company is run. Pass this on to all your friends, or at least tell them to check reviews before purchasing from The Brick. They will certainly thank you for giving them the "heads up".

Thank you to The Brick for having, great sales associates, immediately entering was greeted by a lovely gentleman, stated the appliance is a fridge, I loved the fact that I did not need to wait around for assistance. The whole process took about 20mins. Please please please do not leave this location, keep up the great work and Ritu is such a beautiful associate to have completed my experience at The Brick with my fridge. Please have it delivered first thing in the morning would be greatly appreciated. Take care

My recent visit to the brick store was truly satisfying. Beyond its impressive home decor collection, I was pleasantly surprised by the assistance I received from Samaksh Arora. Not only did he guide me through the extensive mattress options, but he also took the time to understand my preferences, ensuring I made an informed decision. Samaksh's product knowledge and customer-focused approach significantly enhanced my shopping experience. I was pleased with the service in the store although they try to oversell you things and throw in free things and charge you for others. The delivery was kind of annoying because I was told it included assembly but the delivery people dumped everything off and wanted me to sign for it. When I asked about assembly he rolled his eyes and asked if I was sure and said it was easy to do myself. I said of course I was sure and said I had paid for delivery and was told it included assembly. They even had to use power tools to put it together so I'm not sure why they tried to tell me assembly was easy.

Everything with Mr Somanathan was fine until near the end of our transaction. He gave me his card with this link, and asked that I give him as many stars as I like, and say something nice about him. I said I would. He then sat and waited for me to write him a compliment. This is not professional, and it ruined the entire experience for me by putting me in a very uncomfortable and awkward position. I told him I didn't want to do this right now, and left it at that. Please stop putting your customers in this uncomfortable position. Just hand them your card and ask them to rate their experience.

My family and I went to the Brick (Dufferin and Geary) today to buy a sofa. We were greeted and assisted by Elsa and we had an amazing experience being served by her. Elsa was kind, patient and helpful. She waited patiently while we looked around the store, she showed us other options and waited an undecided couple choose the right sofa. She was always there, answering our questions and willing to help. Our experience today was excellent and we'll sure come back again soon. Disappointed. I ordered a table in Dec 4th for a delivery one Jan 2nd. Got a call the following day to force an earlier delivery. I let them know I wouldn’t be able to free myself earlier. Jan 2nd came and no one showed up or communicated with me about any delivery. Had to email them and finally got a call back to let me know the tables is in back order now and they don’t have an ETA. I paid $90 dollars and took a day off work specifically for the delivery that never happened. Great customer service!

I had a chance to visit the store and was assisted by a very humble and patient sales consultant- Triman I must say he was very thorough with the product knowledge and kept in mind the exact specifications i mentioned while looking for the right mattress and suggested me the one which goes best as per my requirement. Bought a leather recliner from this store. The store has a good amount of collections. At the time I entered into this store, I did not know what type of couch I was looking for, only know that I need a couch. Elsa helped us from purchasing to preparing the order, and she was very responsible and patient throughout even when we encountered problems with the order. I purchased a power reclining sofa from The Brick with an extended warranty. It stopped working shortly after receiving it, and a technician came to inspect it in August. It is now the middle of November, and I'm still waiting for the repair. I have been unable to get a response from The Brick regarding this. I have purchased furniture in the past from Leon's and Sears and never had such poor service.

My husband and I went to purchase a new Serta Black mattress and we are very pleased with the outcome .
