The location in Broad Ripple was beautifully decorated, small, warm, and quaint. It was the perfect place for a small, 3-person celebration. The displays of the pastries were clear, clean, and inviting. You have to book in advance with a card to hold the reservation. There was not a lot of slotted time available 2 weeks in advance for an early brunch on a Wednesday. The service was just okay, actually a little subpar compared to the ambiance. I expected a little more interaction and history. Perhaps a host greeting of some sort. We were there so early that there was only one table seated in the entire restaurant before us. The service wasn't extremely fast or slow, and the server wasn't as attentive as I expected for a place that requires advance reservation. But the environment was busy and interesting. I ordered the combination choice of a half croissant chicken salad sandwich paired with a cup of LS Ayers Velvet Chicken soup. The order came with a side of lightly dressed Arugula Salad. Others, at our table, ordered the crabcake. The meals were light and tasty. Everything was seasoned and browned to perfection. My croisscant was surprisingly crispy instead of flaky, but it was perfect for the chunky chicken salad. I had the Arnold Palmer for a drink. It comes with refills, but I had to ask twice before the server completed the request. Next up was what we really came for... deserts. I ordered the Millionaire Cake, my daughter ordered the Mint Chocolate Chip Cake, and my friend ordered the Gwendolyn Famous Chocolate Cake. We all tasted each others. In a perfect world, for a $16 slice, we should have been able to taste a variety of pastries before making our final choices. Maybe even a taste platter for a fee is a good notion. But alas, we were stuck with what we had. To my disappointment, the Millionaire Cake was not as moist and tasty as the others. The presentation was perfect. The slice proportioned well, but maybe the glitter was not tasty. Out of the 3 cakes, the Gwendolyn's Famous Chocolate was outstanding! I will return but to the larger location in Carmel for another brunch/ lunch. I heard the kitchen is right there, so maybe the cakes are tastier?
The waitress who took care of us was kind and pleasant. The atmosphere was just ok to me though. My husband and I ordered some cake and I had a glass of lemonade. The lemonade was pink and it was very good, not too sweet, either. My husband had the carrot cake, which I was surprised didn’t contain nuts or raisins. I can always pass on the raisins, but I worried about there not being any nuts. It was a large slice and beautifully dusted with pixie dust. It was dense, moist, and just delicious with the icing it was paired with. I would absolutely return for a to go box with a slice of that cake inside! My selection was the red velvet cake. It was beautifully presented with a sprinkling of pixie dust, too. A sweet touch. The cake looked moist and absolutely delicious! The first few bites were as expected. The buttercream icing adhering the three layers of cake tasted delicious with the red velvet cake and small chocolate chips within. As I continued to eat though, the cake just got drier and less enjoyable. It had a substantial amount of pink icing on the outside and top so I hoped that would help with the overall taste of the remaining cake. It did not. It had the consistency of shaving cream and the taste to go with it. It didn’t have any semblance of a whipped icing at all. It was beautifully decorated and the color pink was most appropriate with the red velvet cake, but absolutely flavorless. I, of course, ran out of the buttercream icing adhering the layers, so I stopped eating and nibbled on what my husband had left of his carrot cake. I am glad we made the trip, but I don’t expect we will be back.. Lest we are close and there is fresh carrot cake.

One star because the staff was pleasant at the time of the visit. This was our first time at the Broad Ripple location. We have been to the Carmel location frequently. Upon entering, it’s crowded but decor was still on point like Carmel location. However the bathrooms needed attention as they were not as clean as I would have expected. The food tasted good but within 45 minutes or so (probably not even) I experience severe upset cramping in my stomach. Another guest of our party experienced the same at a later onset time. For the next 15 hours or so we were both very sick sick with digestive issues. We both had one item that was the same. We also shared an appetizer but the other one person in our party also ate but did not have the same symptoms as us. The other ill feeling guest reached out to the manager who simply stated “well sometimes when I don’t eat all day then I eat here, I experience a minor upset stomach”. Well, being spoken to like a child was not an ideal way to respond to the unfortunate events. We were not going there on empty stomachs and we were both traveling from different areas to meet at this location for my birthday. When someone calls in to express they and multiples of their party get very I’ll after eating at an establishment, it should be handled more appropriately and more professionally rather than a minor “oops” or passive response like we were given. It’s a shame because The Cake Bake Shop is my absolute favorite establishment. I will never return to this location and it will be quite some time before I revisit the Carmel location based on the response from the staff from this experience.
Cake Bake is a fun, cutesy, "do it for the 'gram" type place, but the Broad Ripple location consistently misses the mark. As a party of 9, with a reservation, we spent nearly 4 hours there doing nothing more than ordering lunch and dessert. The waiter was friendly and accommodating, but it was incredibly slow all around. Time to enjoy company is appreciated, but the server even apologized as they recognized it was incredibly slow. I have never once sent food back if it wasn't as expected, however an $18 slice of Lemon Blueberry cake today was the first. Due to there being fresh berries more moisture is to be expected, however the berries were actively fermenting in the cake; the bottom layer smelled and tasted awful. Everyone at the table smelled it, just to be sure I wasn't just off, all agreed it smelled rotten. I told the server and it was taken back to the manager who then came out to ask "Someone didn't like their cake?" It wasn't a matter of liking the cake or not, it was going bad! I paid for my cake and was given another slice to bring home, that honestly will go in the trash because it, too, smells like rotting berries. I don't know the solution, the lemon part of the cake tasted fine, just dry, maybe it's a storage issue? Carmel spot has been consistently better, maybe it's just time to write off visits to BRipp. ♀️ Edit to add: if you have a baby, there's no changing station, so bring a pad for the floor or plan to go to your vehicle for that.
When my mom and I stepped into The Cake Bake Shop recently, the vibe was instantly welcoming—like a big, warm hug. The place has this relaxed yet stylish feel to it that sets the mood right for chilling with family or feasting on some seriously good dessert. Now, let's talk about the folks working there. Man, were they attentive! Our server was a real sweetheart and super considerate, especially when it came to my mom's food restrictions. It's not often you find this level of thoughtful service, and it didn't go unnoticed. Alright, onto the main event: the cake. Imagine biting into a slice of heaven that’s as moist as it is flavorful. No exaggeration—this cake was a showstopper. If a cake could get a standing ovation, this one totally would. But before we dove face-first into that cake, we decided to test the waters with some savory stuff. The French Onion Soup was a home run, so rich and comforting that it felt like a meal in itself. And the Lemon Caesar Salad? Let’s just say it was Caesar salad with a zesty punch, and we were here for it. Just a little pro tip—if you’re thinking of going, be ready for the price tag. It ain't cheap. But considering the quality of the food and the ace service, I'd say it's worth every penny. Maybe give their online menu a glance before heading over so you know what you're signing up for.
A friend and I stopped in here for the first time today. My friend had been wanting us to go for a while, and I wasn't sure what to expect. When I would ask others about this place, everyone said it was amazing. Let me just tell you, the atmosphere is absolutely beautiful. I don't even know how to describe it. That's why I included some pictures. It's definitely the kind of place I would bring my mom or my niece for their birthday. My friend and I decided to get some cake to go. The woman who served us was incredibly friendly. The entire staff there had a smile on their face, and they seemed to love what they were doing. Everyone was very well-dressed, and I kind felt out of place with my baggy sweatshirt and sweatpants. Needless to say, when I come back, I plan to dress a bit nicer. I got a piece of their espresso cheesecake, and I absolutely recommend you give it a try. The only thing I have any complaints about is the price. But I'm also a college student, so I'm always going to complain about price.
I would like to preface this, I am 22, not picky, I do not usually leave reviews let alone bad ones. BUT. Spent my 5 year anniversary with my girlfriend here. Big mistake. I put it on the reservation and was hoping for a good table. Nope, we were sat next to a 10 y/o birthday party. The staff didn’t do/say anything to acknowledge it. Wine was absurdly overpriced, I lived in Boston for four years and never saw prices like that for a glass of wine. We didn’t get any though to be fair. Forewarning, a glass of rosé is 18. I got the goat cheese salad. It was goat cheese, salad mix that had very obviously GONE BAD, a splash of dressing and pumpkin seeds?? I was refunded but genuinely even if the salad mix wasn’t expired, such an underwhelming salad. Maybe with some honey glaze and arugula you could justify that price. My gf’s food was underwhelming too. Cake was eh. Atmosphere was more conducive for a 10 y/o birthday party. In conclusion, that place was made for Disney World if you know what I mean.
My mother killed this huge piece for her birthday. Having an ill mother is nothing to smile about, but she laughed and smiled the whole time. I thought she would have enough for another snack, but when I went to check she just smiled and said she couldn't stop eating it. My mother orders French chocolates every Christmas, she says this was some of the richest chocolate ever and the cake melted in her mouth. Worth every penny for her smile. 70 is a great birthday to have this cake.. 4/12/22 update I went without my mother this year as she passed just 3 weeks ago. We had plans to go together.❤ My BlackBerry salad was filling. The million dollar cake was worth every penny. Our server was just the sweetest and loves Disney just like me. We never miss her bday at cake bake and if I'm able I never will.

I was very disappointed in our experience, this was supposed to be a magical dinner for my daughter and her friends for her tenth birthday. However, we did not have enough seating as we reserved for seven and they only had room for six as we then had to squeeze together. The menu is very small and only had two entrees for them to come back and say they were out of what we wanted because they did not have enough noodles. (the waitress made them drop more noodles after us stating we would go elsewhere.) Normally, I do not write reviews but, when we are spending $400.00 plus on a meal and a experience it should be memorable. (In a good way) Every time we wanted or needed something they seemed to be out of that food, drink etc. All deserts came out frozen or very hard which the kids did not even eat. Which was a waste. The waitress we had was wonderful, which made me have a little faith, so kudos to her. Needless to say we will not be a returning customer.
This was my first time visiting the Indy location. I've been to the Carmel location previously. We were at the Indy shop celebrating a friend's baby shower. Parking is somewhat hard to find. However, we were seated promptly and our waiter was phenomenal and very accommodating. The decor is beautiful. It looked like an enchanted cottage. The food and drinks were delicious, but expensive, which I expected. I had chicken velvet soup, a turkey sandwich, Neapolitan cake and the elderberry sparkler drink. The cake was well presented and moist. The icing was fluffy and flavorful. My only true complaint was there was a squashed raspberry on the floor and stuck underneath our table that had not been cleaned up from previous guests. That was gross and sticky when the mom-to-be in our party stepped in it and inadvertently got it on her dress when she sat down. Other than that, it was a wonderful evening and a pleasant experience.
As someone who thoroughly enjoys cake, and I am privileged to work somewhere where a lot of different cakes come in from different bakers…I have to say I am unimpressed. While the cake isn’t terrible, it’s nothing special. The award winning chocolate cake is in similar taste to a $14 Walmart cake, just add some sea salt and call it a day. What you are paying for is strictly the atmosphere and aesthetic appeal this place is known for. Maybe at one point the cakes were top notch, but it seems the focus is more on other things now. Save your money if you are actually in it for the cake and put it into another local bakery. Another thing to note is hearing from the customer who very generously gave me a slice of cake, the customer service was not so great either. So double disappointment that the prices are so high and in return is mediocre service.
We celebrated my mother's 84th birthday and she loved the overall experience. The food was amazing and of course the dessert was delicious. She didn't care for the apple pie but the cakes and macarons were amazing!!!!! I took a piece of hummingbird cake home and it was delicious!!The chicken velvet soup was perfection and the baguette was the best I've ever had!!! The atmosphere is amazing and everyone should experience it at least once. Perfect place for small gatherings. Can't wait to return with my best friends. We called and made reservations on a Thursday at 5pm and it wasn't crowded at all. Not sure if parking will be convenient on a weekend or a busy day. Staff was amazing but would like to see more modern or updated uniforms.

I got a gift card to cake bake for christmas because I really wanted to try it out and finally went with two others last night. Thought the $100 would be enough for 3 but apparently not. Heard good things about the food but it really wasn’t too special. You could probably get the sandwich I got at Panera for half the price. The drinks were amazing (tasted both hot apple cider and lavender) but really small portions. The cake was good but not incredible. The millionaire cake was good but didn’t really enjoy the icing. The raspberry champagne was a bit dry but overall good. The red velvet was delicious and I really liked the icing. Overall, I would go again but just get the cake, and not do the sit down experience. If you do sit down, make sure to get a reservation- you get seated pretty fast if you do.
Cake Bake was a magical experience! We went for a light lunch and lots of dessert. We had penne and a baguette for lunch. The penne was delicious and it had a little heat kick. The baguette was delicious but the butter was amazing! Definitely try the sparkling lavender lemonade. It was sweet but not overly sweet. The Marie Antoinette had raspberry and cream on a macaron shell. It was so delicate and flavorful. The cakes were phenomenal. We had the Famous Earl's Chocolate, carrot, blackberry, and the cinnamon roll cakes. The pieces were huge so $10-13 per slice wasn't terrible. My only complaint was the cinnamon roll cake was a little dry. Overall I will definitely go again! Tip: Make your reservation for right when they open. The place fills up quick! Since we got in right away we had timely service.
This little cake bake shop is super adorable and has kind of a Disney aesthetic with the uniforms of the employees and the way it's decorated. This location is quite small but my friend and I enjoyed the more private atmosphere. We got our cake slices promptly and the waiter was kind. Each slice is about $16 so bear in mind. They are huge slices! I took about half home but my friend did eat all of hers. She left behind most of the frosting since there's A LOT on it. Personally, the cake was too sweet for me. It was delicious but I did have higher expectations and it didn't quite meet them. Nonetheless, I would try another flavor of cake again but perhaps share it with someone else. It is worth trying once in your life!
We booked a table here to celebrate my daughter turning 6. The staff were very kind and accommodating of our two children. They interacted with them and treated them as well as they did the adult patrons. Because it was for a birthday, our server took extra time with us to make it special for our daughter, and even had her make a wish with glitter. I really didn’t know what to expect when we came, but we had a wonderful time. The experience is Disney-caliber theming in a garden tea room. The chicken velvet soup may actually be to die for. Only dropping a star from my review because the prices are truly exorbitant. But our experience was definitely wonderful.
The cake bake shop is like entering a fairy tale; the decor is colorful, magical, sparkly, and perfect. My favorite items on the menu are the broccoli quiche, Gwendolyn's famous earl's court chocolate cake, and the lavender lemonade. They put edible glitter on almost everything!!! I would give the quality of the restaurant food and service four stars because the food appearance, texture, and flavor are overall very consistent. Still, i have noticed that the service is not as attentive and quick to serve customers. I was only disappointed once by the food because when i got my cake, it was cold, and I don't particularly enjoy eating it cold.
My wife told me about this place while I was here on business. I wanted to make her happy so I braved the visit. It's definitely a place for a girl to play out her fantasies of being a princess, wonderful staff who were very into the whole role play. They were very helpful in helping me get cake back to the family. Needless to say, everyone really enjoyed the slices and we held a taste party in our kitchen of all the slices I brought back. Delicious cookies, had the whole salty and sweet thing going for them.

Its always fun stopping by this place. It’s small and can feel a bit cramped, but it’s such a lovely place. The desserts are expensive but most are tasty. My husband loves the salted chocolate chips cookies. The macaroons are great, and you can truly taste the flavors, like rose and lavender. I ordered a birthday cake from here and it was delicious. All of my family loves the light and fluffy bitter cream. You’re not just paying for dessert, but also for the experience. I recently went back for an early dinner and we were very satisfied with our food. This was some of the best if not the very best cheesecake I’ve ever had.
This is a very cozy place. I like how the owner pays attention to details in her decorating and the uniforms of her employees. I had a Cafe Mocha and Raspberry Champagne Cake. It was okay. I was hoping I could taste the champagne more in the cake. I thought the cake was a bit hard and crumbly. Not as moist as I was expecting. My daughter had a Chocolate Chaud, a fancy Hot Chocolate, and The Dutchess Cake. She didn't care for the icing because it was whipped. I personally love my icing like that :-) She enjoyed the Hot Chocolate. The service was good with Daniella. We would go back to try something else.
Whimsical and magical place! No wonder why it's one of Oprah's favorite places. We were lucky to find a spot at the bar to sit and eat as we were a walk-in. I highly recommend making reservations week's in advance if you're planning a stop here. The mission is to create a magical experience for guests and they certainly do, especially in the small, beautiful details. The decor changes and menu is fresh. When my husband's lemonade came out with glitter on the lemon garnish, I just knew it was the best place to be! Although we are not locals, we have since been back because it's just that great!
I was taken here for a birthday surprise. We did the afternoon tea. My 16 mo old niece came with us and was very hangry-which made our party stressed out (anyone with children understands the struggle). We asked for the tier of food early on and I believe the manager who waited on us (pink blazer) said she understands and just wants to make sure our party is happy. She accommodated our request and we, including my niece, had a lovely lunch thereafter. The sandwiches were so good and the teas were fabulous. Environment is whimsical and out of a fairy tale. Thank you guys for making my day! ❤️
First time we managed to get a seat without a long wait which allowed us to marvel at the myriad of delightful details in the shop's decor. The Smores hot chocolate was equally delightful to look at but was unfortunately tepid at best, and served in a small teacup. The chocolate cheesecake tasted ok but was nearly rock hard. (Perhaps not serving dated items should be a better practice.) To top off the experience, my son found a hair in his sugar cookie... We will be back, b/c in the past we have purchased tasty deserts, but quality requires constant vigilance and I have added my two cents.
This place is heavenly! It feels like you’re walking in the Schönbrunn Palace in Vienna and the millionaire cake is 100% spot-on! Gwendolyn, you’ve chosen the right path and your pastries is the start of a revolutionary trend! Anyone that wants to have the dream birthday, wedding shower, or ANY occasion you can think of, THIS IS THE PLACE!

Great for any occasion!
We got the pumpkin chocolate cake. The flavors and presentation were all there in the cake. I loved having the chocolate and spice cake, but I almost feel like one layer of the cake wasn't needed just because it was mad it so large. I went with a pretty large party for the size of the restaurant (9 people) but they handled it beautifully. Our server or host was never aggravated or annoyed at anything we asked of her. I should also note that the cake is so large you can definitely split one slice between two people. Overall a really good first experience!
As someone who had never even heard of Cake Bake, my first trip was quite the experience. Although busy, we managed to get a table by the bar. The staff were very friendly, but slow. The menu is very pricey, but the food is great. The Croque-Monsieur was absolutely delicious. All of the coffees and hot chocolates were so rich and flavorful. We also had Gwendolyn's famous chocolate cake, the key lime pie, and the raspberry champagne cake - and were all very good. This is somewhere I would go more infrequently, but is a fun atmosphere and experience.
For as long as we waited to try this place, I was SO dissapointed. We waited over 45 minutes AFTER our reservatuon time to be seated. We then waited a good while to get served. After we placed our order, 30 minutes later we were made aware that our order was not put in and the kitchen had closed. They said they would open the kitchen again to make our food. Over 2 hours had passed since our reservation time until we got our food. Not one person offered to make it right in any way. Very dissapointing experience for myself, my daughter, and a friend!
Beautiful place and delicious food. We will definitely be going back! 2023 - My daughter first pick for a day date is here. I had asked if they could make a little note with "I love you always" with her favorite macarons (birthday and rose flavors) before arriving. It was perfect and something my daughter will always remember. We love the atmosphere, the tiny little details as you look around, the delicious food and the desserts are amazing. We couldn't leave without more macarons, the lavender lemonade, and cake for each of us! ❤️
The best cake I have every had in the US over the past five years!!! The interior decoration for the Christmas was super nice, and the staff was very helpful! We ordered the signature chocolate cake (Gwendolyn's Famous Earl's Court Chocolate Cake) - highly recommended!! The cake itself was not too sweet and firm, and the ganache layer brought in very beautiful and delicate taste to the cake with strong chocolate flavors. If I have time, I would plan to make reservations in advance and dine in next time!
I loved loved loved the atmosphere of this shop. The teas were wonderful. My only issue was that we were under the impression we were reserved until 2pm, but later told it was 130. But we ended up having to clear out at 1pm for the next party. I am a little sad about that. Either way, I'll be back for my birthday!

I had an awesome experience here! The girls that waited on us were amazing, with an awesome knowledge of the menu in and out. The dessert was also great, with tons of options for cake. I have never seen so many options! The cake we did get was FABULOUS, so moist! Everything about our meal was great. We both got Rose--I got no 69 and it was perfect without being too sweet. The entire inside of the restaurant is absolutely beautiful, with flowers everywhere. Absolutely will be returning
My wife and I purchased 4 cakes from here for our wedding ceremony. These cakes were amazing and the best I have ever tasted. It’s hard to pick a favorite but I think the Millionaire cake was the best. When we went to pick them up we ran late and they worked with us on a later time. The shop was so busy and very quaint. Loved the atmosphere and plan on going back again for future occasions. 6 stars!!

Delicious cake (of course) but honestly I was more impressed with the quiche! It was DELICIOUS. My husband and I shared a quiche and then split a piece of cake and it was a perfect lunch. We enjoyed the Cookie Dough cake (how do they get the pieces of cookie dough to not turn into cookies while baking) and my husband thought the Red Velvet (our to go) was also amazing. The cream cheese filling was DELICIOUS. Best cream cheese filling I've ever had, hands down.
Beautiful restaurant. Impeccable service. Beautiful presentation. The cake was undeniably scrumptious. Macarons were SO delicious. The earl grey tea made me warm to my bones. I ordered the tomato bisque as well for my lunch and it was the only thing I thought “I’ve had better”. My friend very much enjoyed her lunch order though. I took home extra cake for the family. Enjoyed our day.

This is an experience! I attended a birthday party in the restaurant. The decor made me wish I still had a little girl to treat. The food is tasty. I had a rocket salad with toasted goat cheese and an appealing lemony vinegrette; my mother raved about but the quiche. But the desserts are the star attraction. Spectacular. Special mention to the experienced, professional staff. You gave my aunt a special day.

Cute and quaint. I feared it being overcrowded at the Carmel location so I was hoping it would be decent here and it was! Friday afternoon was perfect and made it better to enjoy the first time. I love the fact that it was hidden along a beautiful tree lined street. Had the French onion soup and ceaser which was great! The cakes were truly amazing, some of the best I have ever had. Took some cheesecake to go. Yes it's exspensive but soooo worth it!
At first you don't expect to much, but then it becomes the best of the best place for food and cake, it is SO good, it has blown me away how well the food is put together, how the whole place makes its own plates and all with it's name all over the stuff it sells. The cake.......THE CAKE is sooooo good get a slice! A must go to if you go to Indiana! This place most definitely get's the Red hat of approval! A must go to.
Whimsy and magical just don’t do TCBS any justice. I am so glad I made the journey to Indianapolis from Chicago to enjoy Gwen’s Earl Court chocolate cake and a glass of her sparkling rosé. Both of these options were spectacular. I ordered a slice of the red velvet to go in addition to the cookie dough cake. The red velvet wasn’t my fave but my friend loved her slice of the cookie dough and she got it 48 hours later.
First time visiting CB today. Atmosphere was very girly and fun. Tea was yummy. Loved the chicken velvet soup. Got the red velvet cake and felt it was a little dry and not very moist. Not fond of the icing either. I’ve never had such thin, creamy icing with red velvet. I tried a friends southern caramel cake and it was moist and delicious. I brought a slice of raspberry cake and cheesecake. I hope these are moist.
The Cake bake Shop has the most beautiful ambience. We tried the Caprese Sandwich that comes with Freshly sliced tomatoes, homemade pesto with walnuts, basil & mozzarella on a toasted baguette. For Dessert we had the Millionaire, Raspberry Champagne and Red Velvet Cake. If you have a sweet tooth then Cake Bake Shop is a must visit.

We planned a trip here 3 months in advance for my sister's birthday and it's definitely worth the 2 hour drive for us from Fort Wayne, IN! The broccoli cheese quiche and chocolate cake is to die for and they both just melt in your mouth! I've been here 3 times and try to get something new, and I'm never disappointed... I do wish it was a larger space it's always busy but still a must try!!!!
Stopped in the Cake Bake Shop after a Colts football game and was immediately greeted by Elani Harper! Came just for coffee initially and Elani answered several questions and we decided to purchase several sweet treats from the case! This is absolutely a MUST stop when in the area and I will absolutely be back mainly due to Elani’s professional guidance and hospitality! 100/100 would recommend!
I absolutely love the atmosphere inside. It's pink and adorable. While completely girly, my husband didn't feel uncomfortable. The savory food options are limited, but what we got was delicious. The drink options are great. I really enjoyed my sparkling lavender lemonade and my lavender latte. And of course there's cake! The slices are huge, fresh, and so tasty. I can't wait to come back again.
This has been on my bucket list for a long time. It was perfect!! The staff was absolutely wonderful. They were able to squeeze us in early, and we have the perfect little table. My husband and I both got the chicken salad on croissant. It's was sooo good. I got the million dollar chocolate cake, and he got the French silk chocolate pie. They were both wonderful!! I can't wait to come back!!
As I made my entrance, I instantly knew I was home. This place is a fancy high tea dream come true. Everything is flowers, bright colors and sparkly fairy lights. The chandelier’s little French skeleton dolls grinned cheerily at me as I took my seat. I was enchanted. I ordered the lavender latte and the Marie Antoinette. Both were beautiful and absolutely delicious. A delightful experience!
Honestly blown away, wasn't sure what to expect between the Disney music when wet walked in and the fact that everything in the restaurant sparkles. I literally rolled my eyes when I walked in. Kind of over did the fairy tale thing haha. But.... Cakes were amazing of course, service was awesome as was the coffee. Very friendly staff, and appeared to enjoy their jobs. We will be back!
I can't believe it took me so long of living in indy to come here. It was SO DELICIOUS!! The baked fontina took the cake for me (no pun intended). Don't get me wrong, the pie post meal was also a 10/10.. but garlic, Rosemary & melted cheese?? Star of the show. My sandwich was also amazing. Pricey but worth it. Atmosphere and server Rhiannon were great too :)
Is it good cake? Yes. Is it a fun experience? Yes. But is it worth the outrageous price? I don't think so. The cake and pie was honestly pretty average. If you're really itching for the experience and you're willing to pay, go right ahead. Otherwise, I'd save my money and go somewhere else- wish I had some recommendations for nearby, but I sadly don't.
Just wow. From the minute you walk in until you leave. Crystal cake stands, glitter, pink, white, huge cakes... It's amazing to see. Then you go to pay and wonder why you are paying $12 for one slice of cake. Then you take a bite, and think I would DEFINITELY spend another $12 on this cake. Lovely place, seats for eating in and drinks as well!
I brought my girlfriend here for her birthday to have a nice lunch and it was simply amazing. She had (and shared) her turkey panini. Best one I've ever tasted. I wasnt a fan of the custard quiche only bc of the texture, but it still tasted great. Finally we ended with cake and an apple crisp for dessert. Needless to say both were on point.
Biting into the Magic bar and Raspberry bar will make your eyes roll back with just how amazing they are. These bars hit the sweet spot so perfectly where your eyes just can't help but widen as you try to figure out how to consume the bars faster. Definitely stay away from their sandwiches as they're overpriced for little to no meat.
Had lunch here, highly recommend! The setting is so cute, very elegant and pretty. Service was great and cheerful. Food was fantastic, we ate EVERY BITE! The dessert was almost too beautiful to eat! Definitely get the sparkling lavender lemonade, it was delicious. Oh and sparkles! Sparkles in my drink and my desserts! …
We first started going only for the desserts at their Broad Ripple location, but then went back to try their soup and sandwiches, which were pretty good. We were excited to try their Carmel location and was happy with the Filet Mignon we tried. Our only complaint was that we still had to wait even after making reservations.
This place is veryyyyy beautiful! I love everything about the details and decorations. My sister and aunt got their cake from here and absolutely loved it. Unfortunately, I was unable to try the delicious cake because they did not have any vegan options When they start making vegan cakes, I will be back! …
We came here for my best friend's bachelorette party and it was so much fun! The food was delicious and the environment was perfect. We also loved our server Austin! Would definitely recommend to anyone looking for a fun, girly experience! We rented out the private room for 8 of us and it was great.
Only had coffee and cake, but it all tasted phenomenal! Very cute shop, great place to meet up with girlfriends. Only complaint is price. For 4 pieces of cake at 2 coffees our bill was $80... for that price I will only be returning for special occasions- but I guess that’s the point!
The cookies and cream cake is to die for. The sweetness stays with you long after you finish it. This is the most beautiful dessert shop I have ever been too. They have lots of food on their menu that looks very appetizing. Highly recommend coming here if you've never been.
The food is really good and shimmers with sparkles too. My princess aka daughter loved her carrot cake and unicorn hot chocolate. This place is an experience however is overpriced. You can have better cake at a lower price elsewhere, but not have this unique experience.
Though the restaurant and food menu are small, the actual menu choices are definitely of high-quality! My rose cappuccino was delicious and I'm not even a coffee fanatic. If you do anything definitely get the cake. So many choices and all of them looked beyond amazing
This is a very lovely bakery. If you are into high end pastries this is a must try. They have something for everyone. The staff is fast, but yoy can't rush perfection. They are also friendly and very clean. Perfect patio for cake and coffee.

I’ve been to both locations and love them both. The food is always really good and feel like it’s unique. Definitely a fun girls day out to enjoy. Good luck deciding g which dessert you’ll try, they are all so beautiful and the ones I’ve tried have been delicious.
Such a cute place to splurge. Two slices of cake and two coffees were almost $50 but the cake was delicious and the atmosphere sweet. We were lucky and it wasn't very busy. I can't imagine if it was full capacity. It would have been really tight inside.
Over the top girly experiences in the most positive way! Staff is top notch, delicious sweet and savory selections, coffees, drinks, everything! Pictured is the cappachino and millionaire cake! Reservations are a must and make them well ahead of time.
This is one of the most prettiest bakery I have seen so far . Beautifully decorated and has a wide variety of cake , cupcake collection . Nice and friendly staff it’s a must visit if you live in Indiana and their cakes are must tries as well !!
I took my mother who was visiting to the Afternoon Tea at the Broad Ripple location. The cottage was cute, but the decorations are a bit over the top. The 2 teas we tried were delicious, as were the scones. The sandwichs were also fantastic
What a fantastic little cake shop. The atmosphere of this place is extraordinarly feminine and delightful. Cakes and pies sold whole or buy the slice, along with cookies, bars, and macaroons. The cake I had was fantastic, and the coffee was
The best cake I have ever had! I just recently used The Cake Bake for my wedding and it was a hit. everyone loved it. I was even able to get a slice of GF cake for someone that needed a GF option to eat. The process of ordering and picking
My boyfriend and I went for Valentine's Day lunch and dessert. Most of the food was great. The blueberry avocado salad was not my favorite thing ever, but still okay. Everything else was delicious. My only real complaint is, with it being
As someone with food allergies galore, I can’t tell you how thankful I am for Cake Bake. They took exceptional care of my husband and I when we visited for my birthday. Staff is excellent, location is exquisite, but most importantly this
I normally love going to this place, I am from Europe and this is a sweet spot for me to go to when I miss home, however I went yesterday with my Stepdaughter... and my friend joined us about 20 min later, my Stepdaughter and I ordered

I have wanted to try this place for years, so a peer suggested we visit for a work meeting. She scheduled the reservation and we met up. Parking was limited but I lucked up in obtaining 1 of 2 designated spots. It’s a cute little

This is a destination, boutique restaurant. Impeccable service. The decor is over the top and fun. I particularly enjoyed the quiche and arugula salad. The salad was especially devine! Of course the desserts are exceptional.
Going in here will bring to mind the little shops of Paris. In this quaint shop you will find the most delicious macarons ever! Please do the rose macaron, you will not regret it. Also the coconut cake is to die for!
Only went to try their cake, I tried the Millionaire one and the red velvet. I think their cakes are fine and the slices are nice but not worth $16 a slice. You can easily get a Costco cake for a third of the price…
We went here for my birthday and it was so lovely. The food was great, and the cake was delicious! Our server Rhiannon was wonderful!

A lovely venue for a Magical day of celebrating our daughter, the Bride to Be! The food was as beautiful as the decor and the giant window made the room sun drenched. A wonderful memory and great food too!
This is not just a meal, it's an Experience! The dinner, cake, and cocktails were all to die for. The decor is dreamlike. And the service was cordial and fun. A wonderful experience for special occasions.
The deserts were incredible (very pricy... but rightfully so) our servers we're friendly and extremely helpful, and the ambience made it feel like you were in a movie. We had an unforgettable experience!
Incredible foodie spot in Broad Ripple! I've always heard good things but finally got to experience them for myself. The food, drinks, service, atmosphere, staff, and desserts are all outstanding!
I think the appeal of this place is the fact that its considered "fancy" to kids. My daughters love it. But outside of that it's an expensive experience that doesn't seem to offer much in return.
Beautiful and Enchanting environment. VERY DRY, tasteless cake that costs $15 for 1 slice… this shop is lacking the personal touch that comes with good food and good customer service.
Great venue for a birthday celebration! They even provide balloons and a card. Coffee prices seem off as a double espresso was $10 which is more than coffee drinks that contain it.
Absolutely incredible birthday. The decor is magical. The chicken velvet soup is to die for. I can not even begin to explain the deserts. We can not wait to go back.
Nice restaurant for lighter bites with an outstanding collection of sweets. It is expensive in my opinion and the service was slow, hence four stars instead of five.
Amazing place to take the special lady in your life. It’s every little girls dream venue. The food is amazing… with a touch of glitter on everything.
Enjoyable experience. The ham and brie sandwich with chicken velvet soup was perfect for a light lunch. The Carrot Cake was superb!
