Very understaffed, could see the amount of work and stress the employers had.... Tables got cleaned 10min after we sat already, they were extremely apologetic,... We were 3 of us for brekkie and coffee; didn't get any water offered, didn't have salt and pepper on table and didn't get cutlery delivered with my plate, had to wait 2 minutes after my meal has arrived yet. My meal was ok however not worth the price,.. My coffee came before food which i was happy about but my friend's coffee has never arrived, she even had her meal finished already. When we asked at the counter we've been told the docket got lost, again apologetic and made the coffee right away. Don't blame the girls/womans who work there as they tried really hard,.. Would only suggest the management team to put more employers to helped them as the whole cafe was a mess and they simply couldn't manage it. Felt so bad I wanted to jump in and help them......

We are visiting Adelaide for the first time and decided to have brekky at the Coffee Club. The front counter service was exceptionally slow, our food came out which was totally wrong with missing food on both plates. Waitress said she would be right back with the missing food.... my wife is pregnant and needed to eat so by the time the missing food arrived we were both finished. Meals were very small and underwhelming especially considering we paid 15% surcharge on a public holiday. The table next to us also sent every meal back as they were wrong also and undercooked. We went to speak to the staff before we left about our experience to which they gave us 4 complimentary coffee vouchers (if you purchased something else with it) which were all EXPIRED!!! Would never go back or reccomend this cafe! Total rip off!

Although food is great but I was unimpressed with the service. We came for a conference and whole of Adelaide was booked out so obviously it was going to be a busy morning. But there were only 4 ppl. A chef, server, barista and an order taker. Obviously the first day couldn’t get any brekkie. The next day came at 1030 to avoid rush. Anyways over all the place is good 3/5 but value for money is 2/5 as I do find food expensive for the serving. As u can c below. 18$ for a chicken burger with one small piece of patty with a few chips is just not killing it. Plus the smash avo with salmon n egg ws 21$. Welcome to first world country..

Not bad for the coffee club a hellava lot cheaper than Sydney tho! I ordered my own design breakfast just one poached egg on ciabatta and add baked beans. The egg itself was the disappointment just too runny and lacked any flavour so must be supermarket eggs. The rest was fine but just got two small slices of Turkish bread not two slices of ciabatta that came with eggs. My mates chia latte wasn’t good either but the service was friendly and fast considering it was packed out. I guess for me I buy my eggs from local free range farm and there is no comparison to the supermarket egg. Overall I’d go back just not for eggs lol

We ordered our food at the coffee club, at half capacity (due to covid) and the staff were running around like it was 400% over capacity. It took 35 minutes for us to get our food (avo smashed and poached eggs) and I was watching people who ordered earlier than us get their food before ours. When I went to counter to ask to change my order to take away because it was taking too long, the staff member was not apologetic at all and was pretty much oblivious to any wrong doing. I wasn't given cutlery napkins or anything. Not happy at all and I will never go back to coffee club again.

Fist time beautiful breakfast, second time completely a different story. Bacon undercooked. ( I heard the lady behind me ask for her bacon to be re cooked) they Served breakfast we had to ask for cultelery, given dirty cultlery in which we had to ask again for clean. Ordered 2 serves on bacon and received one Their comment was depends on the size of the rasher.. it clearly states (2) on the menu as extras I was not paying $10 for 2 bits of bacon. What a joke... the eye rolling and smiling between each other did go noticed as well very disappointing.

Coffee Club with the usual friendly staff and food you know. This is the closest Coffee Club to the Adelaide CBD, after the one in Rundle Mall closed. However, that's not to say it is particularly close. I found it a bit of a long walk from the Adelaide Oval / railway station area. I had my usual chips and green tea. I was glad to see that this is one of the Coffee Clubs that gives a reasonably sized side bowl of chips (rather than 8 or 10 chips on a plate as I have sometimes seen at Coffee Clubs). As usual, chips were well cooked and fresh.

Superb service! So friendly and so helpful, they looked out for us, so thoughtful and I would happily hire all of you in a heartbeat if I could. Extremely generous portion sizes. Really appreciate the sizes, such good value for money. On this occasion, our poached eggs were cooked a little too much, so didn't get the runny yolk. We will be back though that's for sure. As you walk in, there are signs stating what to do, follow those and you'll be right.

Ate here for breakfast twice in 2 days. The food is good, but on one morning we waited 20min for food (with no one else in the cafe) and the second time we waited 30min, went to check on our order only to discover they'd lost our order. We waited a little over an for our food. We will not be returning. Plenty of other good cafes in the city... do yourself a favour and walk past this place.

If you want good coffee, do not come here! Mine wasn’t hot enough so I took it back and told them to reheat it. He said can I fill it with hot water and I said no, so what did he do, filled it with hot water! Coffee is watery to start with. Then my breakfast came and it was not what I asked for, should have been eggs benedict but got smashed avo! Went and told them but said I would eat what I had. One minute later, out came hollandaise sauce, I had no eggs! Having said all that, Mum enjoyed her breakfast.

For morning rush, they only had one person taking orders and making coffees. I waited 10 minutes and no one even touched the coffee machine. I just asked them to cancel my order for a refund, but instead they gave me a voucher for a small coffee (worth less than the coffee I paid for). I'm sure the coffee would've been good, if I actually could've tasted it.

Overall it's servicable but pretty middling food that tasted completely unseasoned. Had the avo on toast and the toast was unbuttered so therefore dry and there was a thin smear of avo. The salad of a couple of halved tomatoes on rocket could be stepped up. Luckily I'd ordered some smoked salmon to bring some life to it because otherwise it was stingey, flavourless and I won't go back.

Horrible customer service ! Both food and coffee orders were incorrect. Before sitting down we made sure she had taken our order right, although was missing avocado on two of our plates, as well as coffee was made wrong. We paid for extra items and didn’t receive them. We kindly asked the lady to add a bit more caramel in the coffee as the taste was unbearable and she was straight up rude. Honestly expected more, very disappointed!

Almost no service and we watched the on duty manager stick her hand inside the bean hopper when the machine was in use and then later, add the cleaning liquid whilst beans were still in the machine. We were not asked if our order was complete or if we had a coffee club card to scan just told "this much" and ushered away.

Terrible. What service? If you’re a woman over 50, forget it! You’ll be ignored by both the young male at the counter and a very young Asian girl, supposedly the barista. Rude and totally disrespectful. Waited 20 mins for a simple Chai Latte to go. Others behind me getting their orders first. Yes, I was forgotten. Absolutely no excuse. Never coming again and will warn my friends and family.

DONT BOTHER FOR 630AM COFFEE Says it opens at 630. I get off a stop early on my bus to go to work and walk past. 3 customers in there but they must have been guests of the hotel because there was no door for outside customers that was open. Could only access from inside hotel which was a swipe card/intercom to get in, and ended up walking the rest of the way to work for nothing

I used to love this place, but today I have to wait 20 minutes for the food to get served, while there’s literally no other customer in the store, and bacon was undercooked. Plus terrible service from the lady at the counter, I saw her eat snacks at work, very unprofessional. I’m so disappointed at this place, would never go back again More

Really bad experience this time. This is not the first time I went to Coffee Club, it’s just next to work. I went to get lunch today. The lady who took the order was good. I didn’t get the food until I asked for it even though it was ready n lady who handed over the packet was extremely rude. I would never want to go back. Disappointed!!!!

I have tried many coffee clubs in Brisbane and very happy with them. We tried this coffee club on 7th June and very dissappointed with the cafe, whatever we aksed, response is Sold out and even after taking order for some items, they had come back and said sorry, sold out.. Don't you know even what you have? Soo dissappointed

We had lunch there today. An hr after we left my daughter found out that she left something invaluable there. I would like to praise one of the staff Mr. Jake who did beyond his job description by rumaging the bin to find her missing staff. He did it almost immediately even tho he was busy. Thank you so very much from us.

Waited over 20 minutes for a take away coffee on back to back days. This is mainly due to understaffing and needs to be addressed. People were walking away due to the excessive wait times.

Had breakfast there a few times this week. It's pretty standard Coffee Club food and service. Not a great deal to be negative about, although this morning there was no banana bread for the breakfast menu. The toasted banana bread with yoghurt and honey is one of my favourite breakfast choices for a light healthy meal.

Terrible service. I arrived and staff said “oh, your Menulog,??!!! haven’t even done those yet!” Terrible food and coffee. Other customers arrived after and were Served before I was Very, very understaffed. Staff stressed and rude. Plenty of other options in the city. I suggest you visit one of those.

Over priced average food. Specified my simple order multiple times but they couldn’t get it right. Had to come back to the store to swap something my friend couldn’t eat, staff had a bad attitude and didn’t care about wasting my time. Coffee wasn’t very nice either, didn’t get drank.

Decent little chain cafe with friendly staff and quality service. The food is identical to all other coffee clubs, the service some times gets held back when the Barista is also the teller. But even when it's jam packed, you will still get you're coffee and meal in a timely fashion

The staff here are not only lovely in person but also very good at their jobs. The coffee is always on point and served in good time! I would suggest you try the macadamia cookies they have on the counter for sale, they are definitely the perfect addition to any hot beverage order.

Incompetent. If you have a food allergy or intolerance don’t order here. They don’t take care with their coffee orders and don’t level them properly. Just a bunch of Indians hoping to make a buck but doesn’t know how to implements a proper coffee system for their business-lazy!

The chocolate brownie with cream was devine, but the coffee, well it could've been hotter & less foam, half the cup was foam, that too was a downer. Last year I had the lemon pepper calamari, it was devine as was the coffee then, hence I thought I'd go here again.

Staff has to be more aware when charging customers ($35.40 for 2 chicken mushroom filo and one latte drink.). Luckily my wife queried and got a refund of $10.

Just ordered off uber eats and got a chicken avocado sandwich and a coffee and honestly very disappointed. My chips were cold, my coffee is cold and the sandwich that was made tasted absolutely horrible, had to throw away both sandwichs unfortunately.

It's great when a cafe offers alternative milks to customers who need them. BUT what isn't great is when they dont bother to maintain the freshness of those products. I got a lactose free latte from here and the milk was revolting and clearly off.

Friendly staff & great coffee, what more could you need? I didn't order food as I need a pick me up afternoon coffee but seen a man eating an eggs Benedict and it looked amazing. Really keen to go back and grab a bite and another delicious latte!

The line took 20 min. Once ordered another 15min. The staff taking orders and making coffee move so slowly who were letting the team down as wait staff and kitchen staff seemed to move ok.

The eggs Benedict are to go for. The size portion is good and the price is affordable. The coffee is delicious! The services given by the friendly staff are good. Will be back soon.

Coffee was a hundred degrees. Asked for caramel shot.... Definitely wasn't in there. Very average coffee. Overheard a lot of other people asking where their orders were as they'd been waiting quite a while.

Terrible service. Eggs are done in the microwave for sure. I got sick from eating their smashed avo no idea what was in it. I dont even know why coffee club is busy their coffee tastes like dirty water.

I came this morning with my 3 children and it was amazing. Sarah was so accommodating and helpful. Our breakfast came out super quick and the kids were stoked! Coffee club is definitely our go to!

Coffee was burnt and 3/4 of it was foam. The chips had no structure and little flavour but was better than the coffee, don't get me started on the aioli. Staff didn't seem too keen to see us.

What a great little place. Food was delicious (Buffalo Chicken burger and Chicken Caesar burger). Service very good. We even used the free power banks to charge the phone while we ate.

Great Steak sandwitch. Clean and the staff are friendly, chairs not so comfy I suggest taking the couch side and let your partner or friend sit on a chair. Would I come back, yes.
