We love hot Pumpkin Soup in winter and eat it regularly at different spots in Westfield Marion. Today we tried soup at The Coffee Club. What a disappointment! The shallow remekin style bowl it arrived in was cute but when you dipped the spoon there was barely a centimetre of soup in it. (The spoon in the photo shows the depth) To add insult to injury it was also luke warm. I hailed the passing waitress and asked her if she could heat it up a little and add a bit more soup. She was happy to heat it but said the serve size was restricted and she had no control over it. When the reheated soup arrived it was still luke warm. This combined with the tiny drop you received in the bottom of the bowl made it more akin to a serve of baby food than a wholesome lunch. I left the second serve on the table and walked up to Elly's Cafe where we had a substantial bowl of delicious piping hot homemade pumpkin soup for 25% less than we had paid at the Coffee Club.

Wonderful kind hearted staff! Thank you all for coming to the aid of my little girl. Tonight we were going to the movies to celebrate my daughters birthday when she fell in front of your shop. Staff came out to assist with the clean up of her drink whilst all people walking past didn’t blink an eye, only to frown at her whilst she was crying! my daughter suffers anxiety and they made her feel better assisting her with a new drink And making sure she was ok. Thank you all so much xx We then purchased a Cookie Monster cupcake which my daughter said was amazing and my friend came back and bought some cake which she said was also delicious! To the owner your staff should be praised as they were truly were very kind tonight, not because they had to but because they are good people! Just stopped in for lunch here after watching a morning movie. I ordered "Club Nachos" for $16.90. It came in about a minute and half and was a cold dish. It consisted of some plain Doritos, some tomato salsa from a jar, and some avocado squished up into a paste, a little melted cheddar and that was it. It was cheap, nasty and disgusting. I could have done it myself at home. Afterward I washed it down with a coffee which was below average for a bought cafe late and that cost $4.90. $21.80 for lunch and afterward I felt physically ill. To top it off the tables there weren't even wiped down. Also when I questioned whether my order was right I got my head bitten off by the waitress who took the order. So I apologised. The place is always packed but its just the location of it, right outside the movies.

I'm not sure if this is the Uber Eats person or Coffee Clubs fault But we ordered about 12-15 coffees via Uber eats at a private function and when it got past 45min of waiting time I was starting to get pretty annoyed at the lack of customer service. So I call TCC to ask if a particular order has been completed or on the way to said private function "Oh, yes they have been ready for 15min and we are waiting for an Uber driver" Now this is either your fault for making the coffee's too early and then requesting an Uber Driver but either way it's not great and when we hit 1 hour of waiting we pulled the pin Having a lot of people all annoyed at your business is not great and unfortunately bad experiences travels faster than good experiences...so this is just some feedback on my negative experience

When i was served a really nice lady, i had told her i was here for a interview 30 mins early told me to sit down and wait for the manager i sat down and waited until my interview time she didn't even come tell me or her other stuff members she was was going and having a private meting with a assistant manger in the store room and not to be disturbed . so i just walked up to the serving desk and asked how long the manager would be and got told to go down to the store room and knock on the door, so i went down to the store room knocked on the door and went in and i got yelled and verbally abused. Management is atrocious.

My spot for breakfast every weekend. Super recommend the Big Breaky on the menu. You are going to love the food and the service. Atmosphere can be a little crowded depending on the day because of the mall.

Ordered at counter, took 15 minutes for food which is OK but they were walking around trying to find us because the order had no table number, despite giving it. No coffee arrived despite ordering. Food was nearly finished and they just came and whisked away the plate my wife had left behind with chips still on it. She had stepped away to complain about the coffee that hadn’t arrived after waiting 25 minutes. Took 10 more minutes after complaining about it and the coffee arrived way too hot and burnt. Well done Coffee Club, might be time to find new front counter staff, wait staff and baristas. Very unhappy, you didn’t get anything right….

We usually love to come here while at Marion, but for the second time, coming at 5pm for a sit down coffee, the staff bring us coffees in takeaway cups with lids! Now apart from this being an unnecessary waste of cups and lids, it’s also environmentally irresponsible. We choose to stop and drink our coffee in china cups to do our small bit to reduce waste. I’m pretty sure it’s done to reduce washing up at the end of the day, but can you please review and change your policy in respect to this so we can continue to support your business. Our voice may still be the minority, but change starts from the minority. Cheers ☕️

Posting on behalf of my mother: Both manager and cashier extremely rude and unhelpful. Had to ask for an extra cup 3 times and then was told I couldn't have one afterall and that I would have to buy another pot of tea, even though I was sharing it and did not need another pot. I wasn't asking for extra hot water, or extra tea, just ONE extra cup. I could have at least been told when I ordered that I couldn't share a pot, but no, I had to go find out after asking multiple times. How lazy. Then one of the staff then kept glaring at me whenever she walked past. So unprofessional.

Yes, two identical reviews as staff are so dumb they cant tell the difference between lactose intorlence and coeliac DISEASE. I ask if the hot chocolate powder is gluten free, girl at the counter says "yes we can do lactose free milk" I say: "No, does it contain gluten?" Her: "We do have lactose free milk." I say: "It's for a Coeliac, what does lactose free milk have to do with anything? Does the powder have gluten?" Her: "Sorry, I don't understand." USELESS.

Charged for ice cream and cream in the milkshakes, tried to serve them without it (not the first time either). Once I pointed it out they returned and said they ran out of cream after putting a dismal amount on one of the shakes, poor form honestly. Food was average, poorly presented and overpriced, certainly not on my list of recommendations. *edit - Was contacted by the franchise owner and he has gone above and beyond to rectify the issues we had on our last visit, absolute top bloke.

Possibly the best value Caesar Salad I’ve had. Had it twice there. Haven’t always been a regular at CC Marion , but have sampled many Caesar Salads elsewhere. My experience has been that the staff are friendly and competent, the Caesar Salad is reasonably priced and delicious and the coffee pretty good. Well. Just been back . The best eggs Benedict today. Plenty of salmon. Eggs perfect. 10/10

The girl didn’t even look at any of us and was real snobby (like most south Australian girls). Anyway other than the poor customer experience we received our food and it was undercooked and my brother ordered calamari and he received 4 calamari rings

Well, we used to love this Coffee Club. After lunch today though, we won't be back. $18 for a burger that would've been better from Maccas. A pulled beef sandwich .... with just a tiny taster of pulled beef and a toasted sandwich which was very mediocre ..... all came with chips ..... about 6 of them on each plate! NOT worth it even if we'd only paid half what we did. So so disappointing and definately would NEVER recommend

This used to be a great coffee club with some excellent people working there, but it seems like a very high turn over of staff, which is probably the nature of this business. I also emailed them to let them know that all of their cube seats were ripped and tattered, the owner didn't show a lot of interest. There are better and more well presented cafe's in Marion. I think the position is what's saving this place.

It's nice and as usual Coffee Club has good range of choices to address your hunger, although we wish to have had a faster service! Marion is a top shopping mall in southern Adelaide and it gets really busy in weekends plus Thursday night as on Thursdays the shops are open until 9 pm! So perhaps Coffee Club should get extra staff for the busy hours...

It took 10ish minutes to get a pot of tea. Disgusted that it now costs an extra $2 to get a 2nd cup. There is litterally no more tea in the pot then there was before. My son loves sharing a pot of tea before a movie but will now go elsewhere. So much for covid cleaning standards. Table was dirty as was the cup. Wil not be returning left majority of the tea behind as by the time it came we had to leave.

Pumpkin soup with rocket and sweet potato crisps. Why would anyone then dump both the rocket and crisps into the soup. The latter having no flavour except for a trace of a spice. The toast smeared with feta was half reasonable. At $15, this was also grossly overpriced

Went up got served by a girl called Madi ordered the Crispy Chicken burger and a Smash Avo for my parter plus 2 drinks. never got my chicken burger when I clearly said Crispy Chicken burger not once but twice. Also the staff was not helpful and didn't understand what I was trying to say when I was expanding. Also its ridiculously priced for being a public holiday. Bad experience I have ever had

Had lunch there today 28/8/21, and it will be the last time I waste my money. Toast was cold and rock hard, served without butter. Croissant was toasted without being asked, was cold, as hard as a rock, inedible, and also without butter. The croissant was replaced after I complained. Fritter duo very average, and overpriced. And to add to all this I am $35 out of pocket. Never again.

I had hot chocolate there. It was really good. When I got there, the store was really crowded. I thought it would take so long for them to deliver my coffee, but within 5 -10 minutes they delivered my coffee. Hospitality is very good. It’s one of my favourite place to have coffee in Australia.

Great service, friendly staff. Not long to wait from kitchen to table, CC is my go to place for Coffee and cakes. They’re not so esthetically presented but consistently good here. This occasion I had the scones with jam and cream, was fluffy and warm just how it should be served.

I ordered a long black and got a short black, my wife ordered a mocha with almond milk they wanted to take it away and change it because the girl on the till put through a mocha with cream and the barista made the mocha with almond milk by mistake. For the food, I ordered a buttermilk chicken burger and the brought me a ceaser salad with anchovies. :(

They forgot my order one week. When I enquired it still took 20 minutes to arrive. They gave me two complimentary coffee cards which I was told would give me my usual coffee order, a large long black with cream. When I went back a week later the proprietor didn't want to honour the card and then brought a thimble sized coffee. Go back again? Never!

Highly reccomend having brunch with the family here, staff are fantastic and the coffee is great. They hire people who genuinely care about how good your coffee tastes. The food is great quality. There's something about their bacon that is just so good and high quality. Thru poach an egg like a pro. Truly worth trying. Oh and very affordable.

Pathetic service, I literally waited for an hour for my sandwich to be served. I told them I was in a bit of hurry and wanted my order as takeaway. After 30 mins of wait I asked them if they can please hurry up, the lady up there adamantly says “we are literally making it rn can you please wait?” Not at all happy, wasted alot of time there.

It was great! I had a nice hot cup of Mocha which was nice and strong, but what kind of ruined the experience was a splat of hot raspberry or some sort of berry juice, splated in the back of my head, which felt like a bullet hit the back of my head. Other than that, it was great! Fantastic pancakes and a nice place to get splatted on!

I'm a very regular there, like 5 times a week. And I've noticed new staff.....why??? Ever since, the service has been terrible! Today I waited in line for 10mins and watched 2 people walk away from waiting too long. And it took me to say "there should be more serving" to be served. Really hope it lifts, as I do like going there

horrible cafe, staff were slack, food took over 30 minutes with only 10 customers in the place. Halloumi was horribly burnt, toast tasted off, cutlery wasn’t clean, poached eggs were rock hard. would not recommend, other customers in the place would be heard complaining as well, about wrong coffees and orders being given.

Nice coffee. Bit annoyed that Sat was a public holiday and the surcharge applied, but also a fee for using a credit card! Other places open that day didn't charge public holiday fees.

Very nice coffee and a lovely bacon and egg lunch. Despite being a very busy lunch time, our coffees came out quickly and the staff warned us that there could be a 15 minute wait for our food. Our meals came out much faster and were very tasty. Reasonably priced as well - especially with the Coffee Club card

The waitress was really nice however I bought a salad and I really wanted a sumo salad and the salad I got didn’t look like the picture and had no dressing on there. If i could go back in time to before lunch, I would probably make the same poor choice and still be sitting here wanting a sumo salad. Hmm.

My mum and I are regulars here, and we love how friendly and welcoming the staff are. We always get excellent service and nothing is too much trouble. We love the food and coffee, and enjoyed particularly good service from Cobie! Thanks Cobie, and all the other great staff at Marion Coffee Club.

Great coffee's, friendly and very happy looking staff. Unlike cibo Marion (they have the worst customer service and they're coffee's are foul and burnt). Always lovely going to a Coffee Club, I'm never going back to Cibos ever again. Consider me a 100% Coffee Club fan :)

Went there for a small child to play at the small play area as his Mother needed to be elsewhere. Coffee shop was great. Service efficient and friendly. Way too many children and people. Hectic and we were lucky to get a table near the play area. Stayed awhile.

Very very rude and arrogant staff, the lady who served me on 11/07/2021 around 1 in the after with spec on. Please teach your staff to learn some customer service and be polite and not to judge people by their appearance and their origin. Very very rude lady.

Very very slow service 20 minutes to bring out our coffee,s and a muffin. We order two muffins, they brought 1 waited 15 minutes for the second one to be delivered. And they were not that busy. Very poor very slow service delivery.

Not as good as it used to be. Not value for money, e. g. two pieces of fruit toast is actually one piece cut into triangles which for $7 is a HUGE markup. Toast is never even close to hot now either. Coffee is still great though.

I attend this place twice a week. I love their menu. They have buttermilk pancakes with cream and berries. I couldn't eat the nain stack 3 but the staff said I should try the kids menu with 2 pancakes. It was lovely.

I ordered a mug of Oat Milk flat white - it was one of the worst coffees I have had. I asked to have it remade which they eventually did and it was exactly the same! Never going there again.

Very busy location with extensive menu. Only downside no alcohol sold here any more but that is probably a Coffee Club headquarters thing. Wonderful friendly staff and good Batista's.

They have one of the friendliest baristas around! He is always very busy yet still keeps a smile on his face. Prices are kinda here, but when they have a special, its always worth it
