The Matchsticks are much too big in size... the pastry used in the matchsticks is wrong in taste and texture - it's very dense when it should be light, fluffy and puff pastry. The whipped cream used tasted almost fake as it was so sweet. The sweetness of a matchstick should come from the jam used within the inside rather then the cream. There was also an enormous amount of cream used, much more then what was necessary. I had to put it on a plate, cut it and scoop out a lot of cream in order to eat it. Trying to bite directly into the snack was impossible as it was much too large in size. Overall, worst matchstick I've ever had in my entire life and that's my fave bakery desert in existence. Such a shame, I would have become a regular customer if it wasn't such an awful outcome and it was made really nice with fresh cream... The waiting times are also fairly long and it's rather loud generally in store. Sitting outside is much nicer although the people inside the store glare at you or look at you and make you feel unwelcome generally. I don't support them anymore, their products have fallen a lot since the expansion happened. They also do not do anything with Almond flour/almond meal nor do they want to whatsoever. Such a shame, anyone with glucose intolerance or diabetes would be able to eat foods made with these as a base.

I was reeled in to this place by this photo in particular. Firstly, I’d like to state that I did not take this photo; nor do I claim its rights. I actually saw this photo on their Facebook page & liked what I saw, so I made my way to the cafe immediately - 2 suburbs down from me. Can I just say; what I did was show this picture when I ordered & I got EXACTLY a matching order. My mouth was watering just looking at it that I devoured it in minutes. Hence, why I couldn’t even get a photo & had to use this. The staff were so very lovely; even though only 6:40AM & they were already so busy. Did I mention how amazing this brekky was?! And oh, THE COFFEE!! and trust me, I LOVE my coffee! Definitely have found a nice spot here. Will be back! Ps. As plan to return, I’ll make sure to take an OWN photo next time & sure to leave a follow-up review.

It's a great place for sweets, especially if you need cakes for special occasions as they have an amazing pastry chef that makes all types of cakes with all flavours...simply delicious!! A great, cosy place with all you need for breakfast, but those few times I went for eggs benedict less butter on the bread would've been better, bacon cooked crispy and hash browns not so oily and more crispy would've been yummy!! There's a wonderful staff, an amazing service, always smiling and friendly that brightens your day!! ☕️

We were looking for a place in Adelaide that serves great breakfast for a long time. I believe we have found it finally. The " big breakfast" is just excellent for my taste. Plus you can have two of them just for $25 which is just icing on the cake. By the way dessert options are really fantastic. Since this is also a bakery, everything here is fresh and absolutely delicious. If you want to have a great breakfast, you shouldn't look for somewhere else.

I had a coffee here and it was horrible. It was bitter, and watery. Its the only coffee shop that opens before 7am which is convenient for me. Their pastries may be good but forget about the coffee. I hope the management improves their coffee. Such a shame to turn customers off if the coffee they serve is pretty ordinary.

Had the big breakfast. Good serve size, pretty good value for money too. Coffee was good, but a little weak for my liking, so I'll make it an extra shot when i go next. We grabbed some donuts on the way out, their range of baked goods is extensive all made o house, donuts were nice, and they have more than 17 varieties of pies listed on their board.... Pie on the next visit because they look amazing

The food is superb and accompanied by such lovely workers. I have frequented this location for a little while now and I've never been met with a frown. Despite having a full house and uber orders coming through, the team still manages to put on a smile and ask you how your day is going. I couldn't praise this location anymore. Please, do yourself a favour, head on down. You will not be disappointed.

As the name suggests, this place is fabulous! One of the best bakery's North of Adelaide. The pastry is flaky and delicious. The sausage rolls are mind blowing, no sauce needed. Same goes for the kransky. Pies are also great with the potato pie being a big winner. Lots of desserts on display also. Take your pick, all incredible. Large range of fresh, delicious doughnuts.

Yummiest apple crumble, and when I wanted cream with it, no trouble and it came in a cute little pot. Chai latte was tops. Good range of food. Place is clean and although busy, not noisy so you can have a good conversation. Staff are obviously happy and so are the clientele. It's big, with inside and outside seating. Sorry I don't live in Adelaide so can't keep coming.

Our favourite bakery. Everything is delicious. Their pastry is fantastic. Donuts are superfresh. Good range to choose from and always have more out the back if sold out. Highly recommend ordering a dozen of their mini quiches. Perfect for a light meal with salad. Really friendly service. A couple of tables outside to enjoy a snack in the sunshine. Great local bakery.

What a gem of a bakery. Bronwyn, Megan and the rest of the staff always a smile, show great patience when serving and have kept bread for me when I'm struggling to get there in a timely manner. The bread and other products are excellent and they also have a limited range of other items such as milk, cereals, sugar, etc. in case you run out.

The Coffee is always consistently good here. Their food is always fresh, and delicious. Staff are friendly and on a first name basis with many customers.

Another birthday - another awesome birthday cake. This great bakery is well known for the best pies & pasties in Adelaide, but their cakes are also fantastic. Twice the quality & half the price of the "mall" bakeries. Great taste, so fresh & beautifully decorated. Thanks to Paul & the team.

Open and relaxing in and outdoir dining ob offer now, since the nice relaxing feel it has offer as a bakery. Awesome customer service, since opening of offical renovations it has been very busy. Love new menu and dining on offer along with fresh sandwich bar, to order all made on the spot.

Really nice pies and cakes but the staff are really unfriendly, I would go as far as saying dismissive like it's a big effort to be nice. I think they don't want your business.

Had breakfast here and found the serving sizes were very generous and prices were a lot less than most other places. The staff were friendly and efficient. We were a group of about a dozen and they got our meals and drinks to us pretty quickly.

Chubby blonde behind the counter was rude. Didn’t seem like she wanted to be there at all. You can get better pasties and pies from a service station, painfully mediocre. Drinks are extremely overpriced, $4 for a bottle of water!?

Great eggs Benedict had the salmon version. Great coffee as well.

This place Isn’t my local but always my go to when I’m in the area. Delicious pies and my favourite the chocolate doughnut. The lamingtons are very good too. Highly recommend
