I have used this franchise’s services twice. The first time was a simple service call at my home. Expensive service call, but Gene got my interior locked door open. Mission accomplished. Second, I asked Gene to make keys for two high end appliances with locks at my business. It was clearly out of his skill set. He was at our location for hours, mostly sitting in his van on the phone. He ruined both of the lock cores and scratched the stainless. I had to order new lock cores and keys from the manufacturer, which I should have done from the start. Shame on me. The bill was outrageous and the work was not completed. My recommendation is use them for simplistic work, nothing complicated and nothing concerning a high-end item.

Be sure to get FULL disclosure of the fees. It cost me $132.01 to get my curbside mailbox opened and 3 keys made. When I asked the man at the office, when I went into the office, that the cost was $25,00. He failed to mention a $69.00 service fee, $25.00 fee to pick the lock, $25.00 fee to hand make one key, $5+ to make 2 more keys and some other fee which I was not told until the work was done. I could have bought to new locking mailboxes for that price. Talk about bate and switch or false advertising. I will not use this business again or recommend it to family and friends. When I called the office all they said was, "Sorry". :(

Used the company to re-key our house and to fix a door that had been sticking for a while. Had previously had other services come out to fix the door but the door would always stick again. However we gave the Flying Locksmiths a call and told them our problem. They guaranteed quality service and even sent a picture of the technician that was in route as a safety feature. The tech's name was Jeff and he even showed up a little early! He was very polite, and did an awesome job. The door hasn't stuck since, even after others attempted to fix it. Great company with great service, 5/5 stars!!!

Why doesn't everybody work like this?! I call I make an appt after staff asks detailed questions so they know how to help me, then they send a QUALIFIED and friendly man like Mr Rodriguez who was on time, cracked open my safe and got a new lock installed in no time and charged a fair price! Why can't it be this easy for everything else that breaks in our life. My research found them and theyre a franchised company that hires local folks and sets a standard of quality and knowledge! Hope you try them, I did and I'm satisfied!

Does not serve the military community on base, so don’t waste your time and call pop a lock instead because they are more than happy to come on base. The person I talked to said they can’t get on base. I offered to sign them on and they refused. They said it took to long at the visitors center so their policy is to never come on base. I even offered to pay extra for the time it took and explained that I was in dire need to get to another appointment. They still said no and hung up! Happy Veterans Day flying locksmiths!!!

I have to give a shout out to Omar Olivares for being the first locksmith to cut our house key the correct way. We had been to Home Depot, Walmart, and even a professional locksmith to cut spares of our spare house key but none would ever work. Then, out of nowhere, we bump into Omar near North Star Mall and asked if he could make us spare keys since everyone else had failed. Well, Omar did what no one else could do. He cut us keys that worked perfectly. Thank you so much, Omar, for doing such an awesome job.

Great customer service experience all around! When I called in, Debbie answered the phone promptly and was kind and helpful. After hanging up, their tech, David, was here in less than 10 minutes! He was knowledgeable, patient, and quick!! Before leaving, he even offered to make me a spare key so I didn’t lock myself out again! No matter which side of town I live on, the Flying Locksmiths will always be my first call for all things lock-related.

I have used this company a few times, including lock installation, rekeying doors, etc. This last time, my kids messed up one of our deadbolt locks and Flying Locksmith came quickly at the end of the day on a Friday. They quickly fixed the lock and even did a little work on it to make it work even better than before my kids broke it. This crew is efficient and professional. They are the only locksmiths I will use anymore.

First of all, the technician arrived an hour late from the time promised. Second he didn't know how to fix the problem and took way to long! Then he had to call for back up help to assist him. 3rd my name is forged on the completion form. I wasn't even there when he finished!! And last a mess was left on my floor. C' mon man. Previously on other calls to my business all went well. This time I am TOTALLY dissatisfied.

Can’t complain. Yeah they were a little late but this is San Antonio traffic and a 10 minute drive can easily turn into a nightmare and delay ANY service. The point is the guy got me inside my car in 3 minutes. I called. He showed up. Opened my car. No excuses. And that is ALL I care about. A service person that does his job. Wow a concept. 5 stars only because there isn’t room for a sixth.

David was very professional, kind and helpful. He showed up on time and listened to my questions and made a key for a lock on a door very quickly. He stayed to make sure the key and lock worked properly, and used his tools to shape the molding around the key opening so that it worked as smoothly as possible. I highly recommend David and will request him when I need a locksmith again!

hands down the BEST locksmith in the City!! We thought we were going to have to spend way over what we wanted to on a new door/lock, but Flying Locksmith was not just able to repair the old lock and save the door, they can right out the same day!! We accidentally locked our keys in our vehicle we tried to open it for a little over 2 hours and didn't succeed , so we called Flying locksmith. The guy showed up very quickly and we were out of there in 10 minutes. He was quick, extremely professional and the cost was very reasonable. Awesome service! !

Communication on there end was an issue. I feel as a customer who ordered a product that they should keep me more informed. Instead I was checking back with them every week to get updates. Install was smooth and easy. The installer was very nice and informative.

Service says 24 hours online. I called today at 6:14am. Phone rang for about a minute and then a recorded voice said that the voicemail box was not set up and hung up on me. My keys are locked in my car and I thought a 24hour service would be able to help…
