Great place to come for a special occasion only since you will be seated with the best table with a view. The first time I came, the waiter took us right up on the elevator. However, this time, the hostess took us up by stairs. Strange outcome for both times. The first floor is loud. However, the 2nd floor is much quieter if you want a nice, secluded and romantic even experience. It has better views than sitting on the 1st. The hostess tried to seat us on the 1st, actually, but my bf was not having it. The hostess did not seem easy to get along with she was not trying to please customers right away. My bf had mentioned he wouldn't be sitting on the first floor, and then the hostess sat us on the 2nd. What an unpleasant start off, actually. The first time I came, the host was professional and easy. This is our 2nd time coming here at this location, and it is the only Jean George restaurant that I've been to that has a brunch menu, Jojo was below average, however, I thought The fulton Jean did it right so we came back 2nd. My bf and I came here for Xmas Eve brunch. As requested, they sat us on the 2nd floor by a side facing view of the bk Bridge. The first time, we both were able to see the bk bridge. This time, only I was able to view it. Lol Our waiter was kind but spoke so fast with the drink menu, tbh I had no idea what he said and asked him to repeat it. We ordered the shrimp tacos and warm octopus, I really loved the shrimp tacos, which was a bit on the spicy side, My bf, however, said it was very spicy for him and took out the sauce lol that they spread in them lol. The octopus we had it the first time we visited was so amazing, so I had to order it again, and this time, I did not think it tasted as zesty as it did our first. For our main, I ordered lobster tail, and the presentation was perfectly laid out. However, it was served cold, and it came with in-house made chips. I usually do not eat all the chips, but these were so tasty I ended up eating all. Lobster Tail was just good lol but not great since it was served cold. Clearly, the bun was not toasted, and there was no attention to detail. My bf had the cheeseburger that came with fries and dipping sauce. The only thing was he asked for medium, but he said it was well done and was too dry. Lol. my bf is an amazing chef, so he knows immediately what's off. There were no customers in here for Xmas Eve bunch now we know why. Try harder.

It marked our second anniversary, and I aimed for perfection. Initially, I had booked the atrium, believing it offered the best view. However, Mariah from The Fulton Reservation Team shared a valuable insight, suggesting that the Dining Room on the second floor had a superior ambiance and view for an anniversary celebration. Following her advice, she graciously moved our reservation to a table in the Dining Room on the second floor. Upon arrival, the reception staff kindly informed us that with a short wait, they could offer us a table with an even better view. Eager for the optimal experience, we agreed to wait. The patience paid off when we were seated at a table with an incredible view, capturing the beauty of the both Brooklyn and Manhattan bridges and the Brooklyn skyline perfectly. The culinary experience was nothing short of perfection, earning a solid 10/10. It was undeniably the best seafood meal I have had in New York. The service was exceptional, further enhancing our overall satisfaction. While I acknowledge that the prices were on the higher side, the unparalleled view, impeccable service, and outstanding food more than justified the cost. I am genuinely delighted that we chose The Fulton for our anniversary celebration, and I wholeheartedly recommend it to anyone seeking a restaurant for a special occasion. A sincere thank you for providing us with an amazing and memorable experience!

To be clear, the view is great but every time I dine here, I’m only focused on my plate. The “best burger in New York” is a lofty claim -for anyone to make. I find that this claim is accurate. The Alice and Wonderland presentation of oysters and shrimp and raw fish would delight any Mad Hatter and had me smiling like a cheshire cat. I must add that the wasabi is the real deal -our amazing server Keith took great attention to detail to insure we were aware of this and other facts which may have been missed at other dining establishments. In short, every item mentioned this far was worth it. In our latest visit, we were splurging so our efforts went on to include the Turbot and the poppy seed salmon (and an extra order of fries). Both the whole roasted turbot and salmon were beyond delicious; they were exquisite. Thankfully, despite the immense amounts of food we consumed, my guests and I left room for dessert. Our ship set sail on our table but all aboard perished (quickly) by multiple spoons. My friend swooned over the champagne gelato …all in all we were so happy with this meal I felt compelled to leave a review. Looking forward to returning to the Fulton some time soon. You should too.

The Fulton is a very nice upscale restaurant with beautiful views of the Brooklyn Bridge, Manhattan bridge and the waterways. Situated at the end of the pier. The restaurant features multiple floors, amenities for parties or casual lunch as well as a good bar. The service is friendly. But what you would expect for a place like this. The atmosphere is modern and extremely nice. The food was tasty and great, with emphasis on seafood. I would say this is one of the best places to eat in the area. Especially if you want to have a nice upscale lunch experience with beautiful views and of-course be ready to pay the Manhattan prices. We ordered the lobster rolls, shrimp burgers and salads of calamari and Cesar. All was really tasty. The shrimp burger could of used a little more char. The one thing of note that I want to make is that the lobster roll was offered on a 70 cent Martin’s hot-dog roll. Cmon now? Couldn’t even do a buttered/oiled bun or brioche roll? That was really the only comment I have regarding the food. Will definitely be back, and hope next time no more hotdog buns for the $40 lobster roll. That is what food trucks do, not a premier restaurant.

Seriously this whole place is a VIBE!!! Not sure about why others are complaining about the prices, but this is a trendy upscale restaurant. The ambiance, location are all apart of the package here. Along with the food, drink, etc. We were visiting from out of town on a special get away trip, so I didn’t mind the indulgence. I wanted spectacular views and impressive seafood and that’s precisely what we received. I wish I remembered our servers name. He was friendly attentive and elevated the experience quite nicely. The lobster dish with the noodles were reminiscent of a super upscale, elevated lobster ramen dish. I enjoyed it immensely! Very filling as well. Literally, I need more! It completely hit the spot and worth every penny. It’s obvious you can taste the fine intricacies in these elegant dishes. Make the visit. It’s worth it. That view of the bridge is downright dreamy. If anyone can track down the server who had us on Wednesday night please tell him thank you again. He made us feel welcomed, valued and special!

1 The food is delicious and tastes good. Today is my birthday and we brought our own cake to celebrate. Turns out the cost for us to cut the cake was $10 per person. We were charged $40 to cut the cake (what a joke) . It's a small thing, birthdays are all about being happy. 2 But unfortunately, my scarf may have fallen under the chair when I left. Then I took my gift and cake and left the store. After I got home, I looked for that scarf for a long time until my friend found out that it was mybirthday. The scarf in the photo I just realized that in the second photo of us leaving, I don’t have the scarf around my neck. The scarf may not be very expensive , but it is an attitude. When we ate at this restaurant, we didn’t just walk in. We made a reservation and left my mobile phone number, but the restaurant didn’t contact me. Instead, I took the initiative to call and ask, which was too bad. So I will not eat there again in my life and I will not recommend it to my friends

This place has a nice view of the East River. The place is spacious with ample people walking around, including their dogs. More on that later. We had tuna tartar. It was ok. I find the sauce too tart. My wife had the chicken, which is probably the safest in taste. I can't say anything bad about it. My daughter had the lobster roll. Looks like a typical roll from the Hamptons. I didn't taste it. I had the smoked salmon Benedict. The salmon is overly salty. My gravlax is 1000% better. It has more character. After eating we strolled around fringes of the restaurant. Lo and behold, people with dogs came baring gifts. I can't understand why these people don't walk their dogs before entering the place where people eat. Another dog took a pee in the area. I'm not sure how sanitary is this place if these animals are allowed to be so close to the food.

My husband and I went here last summer when we first moved into the city. Yes, this is an exceptionally long overdue review. I had forgotten until last night I went to another place, and I found out Jean Georges has other restaurants . Well, sometimes the dots are not well connected Anyway, back to the restaurant. Last July, we went here on Friday night without any reservations. The host was able to accommodate us. The restaurant is in a great location with a phenomenal view of Brooklyn Bridge. Our table was just right to see Brooklyn and the bridge. The service was great! The seafood was fresh. My fish and my husband were chef kiss. Then came the dessert, yum We were overeaten, but that was ok. Sometimes when there was good food, can’t just say no.

Went here for a date night and had really high hopes for it. It's a beautiful place with a vibe of a beach house. But the food was not on par. We had a $50+ dish that was drenched in corn starch and it was practically inedible. The restaurant did offer to remake the dish, but we decided against that as neither of us like seeing the food going to waste. We ended up blenching the noodles in the sauce from another dish and it made it passible. I just think that if you charge 50$+ a plate that there should be some amount of quality control from the start. We also had an octopus appetizer and it was overcooked. That said, raw bar, sea bass and desert were great.

Came here for restaurant week lunch. It is located near Pier 17 with perfect view of the east river, and you can have a closer look at the Brooklyn Bridge. The atmosphere, low noise level and breeze let me enjoyed my food very well. I ordered Petite Seafood Plateau and Gruyère Cheeseburger au Jus. Also, I had Cherry Cheesecake for dessert, which I loved. The seafood was fresh and the sauces were perfect. The cheeseburger was juicy, tender, and pretty big.

Excellent atmosphere outside (Spring 2023). Splendid wine list. The ravioli was covered liberally with an odd hot sauce, not sure we liked it. The seabass was as good as we remember, tho the thin carrot sauce was not the best pairing we've had. The fried organic chicken was superb in every way, who woulda thunk! Highly recommend the multi-flavored sorbet, even if you're not a dessert person. Recommended.

The view from the outdoor dining is wonderful. Excellent backdrop for sure. The service was great. The food was not bad but not great as I see from the other reviews. I think it could have been more fresh and better. I think it might have catered to a more tourist location. I’m on the fence whether this place is worth it or not! I guess you will have to figure out for yourself

Except for the red snapper ceviche, the food was terrible, especially the $74 John Dory. This dish is usually served at any other restaurant with considerable aplomb but here it was lukewarm and boring. The crab appetizer dish was three measely lumps of crab salad - what?? The view though is amazing of the bridges. Just don’t go for the food.

The Fulton had truly delicious food and excellent vibes on the patio! I recommend the shrimp cocktail, warm octopus with mozzarella, lobster scrambled eggs (with gluten free bread), and the shrimp burger. The cocktails were enjoyable but substantially overpriced.

The beautiful restaurant locate near Brooklyn bridge. The food taste is not good for me. Steak is good but side dish and salad are unsatisfied. May be they are not my favorate style. The staff service is great. They feel that I did not like the salad and ask me for change the new one. "Impressive" More
First, the fish was all so fresh. They shuck oysters right at a glass bar, the dishes were all light but filling and full of natural flavors. The views were 10/10. Our waiter was very attentive and knowledgeable about the wine list. Will definitely go back here. Great for families and even a date night
I have been here several times and we love the food. The raw oysters and calamari this time were phenomenal as well as the shrimp tacos (we were warned they are quite spicy! We also got the lettuce cups with crabmeat which are also great
Went for lunch at around 1pm. It was not crowded at all. The hostess sat us promptly and table service was just as quick. Our waiter was great- he answered all of my questions and seamlessly rattled off all the dishes, ingredients and

A-mazing. Wonderful service, thank you Steven. Octopus mozzarella, seafood tower, chicken, burger, all of it, omg. Cookie for dessert was delicious. Coconut dessert was light and wonderful. Such a fantastic meal. More
The food, service, and the view were all great! Ordered a lobster&soft eggs and it was so tasty! (The breads were a bit burnt though as you can tell) I’ll definitely return to enjoy the view again. More
Delicious restaurant on the pier overlooking the water. The swordfish was yummy and a large portion. Salmon was smaller, but very flavorful. The chocolate bomb was delightful. Comfy chairs! More
Thanks for asking for feedback - Friendly staff/hostess & delicious food. However, things that bothered me a bit were: 1. The floor was dirty with crumbs from previous customers.
Clear views of a beautiful bridge not sure which one. :) the food of course was amazing. Our waiter took a bit getting out drinks but apologized with 2 glasses of champagne More
