Stumbled across this lovely store which is housed in a beautiful sandstone building. Really great selection of books. Also the staff member who served me offered to wrap the book when I mentioned it was a gift. He took the time to wrap it beautifully. Such lovely service!

Very obliging staff & also provided details re author & background. Not often you find that staff have knowledge of book & author. Let's face it there are so many authors & good books to read. Love it when they can impart knowledge.

Wide selection of new books, with highlights of Tasmanian literature which I enjoyed. There were cards and designs by local artists, which was also very cool and they were reasonably priced as well.

Went to purchase a book priced $15, the lady decided to say the price was wrong and it was $25, refused to honor the marked price. Does not care about doing the right thing lost a customer

Widest choice of books in Hobart. Great place to spend a Saturday morning making love with the bookshelves and then with a beer or coffee and lunch and walk down the Salamanca promenade

Great little book store. Has a good selection of books. The second hand section is a little lacking but I don't think that's a major part of the business so it's understandable.

This bookstore has an incredible variety and the young woman who assisted me with my queries and searches was helpful and personable. It was welcoming and quaint.

Great find.....don't walk by....wander in and browse for awhile...there are shelves of books to look over....staff are friendly and knowledgeable.

Good depending on what you are looking for. Not much in the fantasy or scifi area. Very cramped, not much space to walk around.
