On Saturday, June 17, 2023, I went to Home Depot Flushing store at 131-35 Avery Ave, Queens, NY 11355 to buy a Werner 2-feet ladders. Home Depot web site says that the Flushing store has 8 in stocks, and this item is located at Aisle 39, Bay 010. However, I could not find it at this location and nearby areas. Then, an employee named Carlos, walked by. Carlo said that he was an assistant manager. I told him that I could not find Werner 2-feet ladders at the location specified on the Home Depot web page, even though Home Depot web page says that this store has 6 in stock (I told him wrong. in fact, the web site says that Flushing store has 8 in stock). Carlos just browsed through the lower shelves quickly and told me that if you don't find it, we don't have it in stock. Then, I told him that in other Home Depot stores, Home Depot's employees use a Home Depot's handheld device by entering SKU to locate where the items are stored. Items are sometimes in a pallet on overhead selves. In fact, Carlos had this Home Depot hand-held device in his hand. However, he did not even bother to help me before I mentioned using this device to locate items that I was looking for. After Carlos heard me say that, he asked me what the SKU is for the item that I was looking for. He told me that SKU is in the Item Web Page. Then, he told me that his hand-held device says that Flushing store has 6 in stock, but does not indicate they are in overhead shelves. I was not sure if he checked the item with his hand-held device, because I told him there were 6 in stock, but I told him wrong. The Home Depot webpage says that Flushing store has 8 in stock. I didn't feel that this employee Carlos made an effort and provided good customer service to help me. He did not have intention to help Home Depot to sell items to customers. Later, I went to another Home Depot store at 75-09 Woodhaven Blvd, Glendale, NY 11385. An employee there helped me to find the exactly the same item that I was looking for, even though it had only 2 in stock. I am very disappointed with Carlos with Flushing Home Depot store. I hope Home Depot can pay attention to this customer service problem.

Terrible Service and Rude Attitude at Home Depot, I had an extremely unpleasant experience at Home Depot recently, where their service was deplorable. The staff members were lazy and unhelpful, and it felt like they didn't care about assisting customers, especially those of people descent. It was nearly impossible to find a single employee when I needed help locating an item. There are lack of a lot products. The ordeal reached its peak when I attempted to return ten small items. I spent over an hour at the store, dealing with a young female service representative who showed absolutely no patience and seemed disinterested in processing my returns. She kept insisting that most of the items were not listed on my receipt, making it impossible to proceed with the return. Her unprofessional behavior was infuriating, and she left me waiting for nearly half an hour before leaving for the day, without even a basic acknowledgment. After waiting for an additional half-hour, a manager-level employee finally took over. However, to my disbelief, even the manager claimed to be unable to locate my products for the return. I provided them with clear evidence from my receipt, the issue is different code number can’t match , there is not my fault, I already paid the window curtains ,but they simply refused to do their job. This entire experience has left a bitter taste in my mouth, and I can confidently say that I will not be returning to Home Depot anytime soon. Their attitude towards customers, especially those of Chinese ethnicity, is appalling, and their lack of commitment to basic customer service is shocking. I sincerely hope they address these issues to avoid further disappointing their customers in the future. They need hire a new manager and many workers

I purchased a chainsaw, or so I thought… Immediately after getting to my families place where I intended to use it(15 Mins after purchase), I began to unbox it. I ended up discovering there was no item in the box, instead, replaced with rubbish. I was appalled! I couldn’t understand how an item that was wrapped in what appeared to be its original seal was able to be tampered. That said, I immediately went to the location where I purchased it to inform the manager and get an exchange and/or return. However, this story just keeps getting worse!! Jessica who is the Asst. Manager said she did her research and concluded that I left with the merchandise.. In turn, letting me know I would not be receiving a refund or exchange. I don’t even know where to begin or how this can happen to someone who rightfully purchased the item they needed, thought it was sealed in the box new and opened it to find out the box is full or trash! And yet, I was made out to be a thief or some type of scammer as because when I left it was sealed in the box! How do you think I felt??! I am beyond disappointed with this experience and Jessica offered no resolution, even knowing everything I explained to her A-z. I have filed a claim with my bank and will be following up with homedepot corporate. No one deserves that type of treatment or embarrassment for something they didn’t do!! Buyers beware, just because it looks originally wrapped doesn’t mean your item is in the box. Check the boxes before you leave the store, this manager and this store is clearly up to something funny and it’s effecting innocent people.

This is disgusting thing in my life❗️❗️❗️I never know this is Home Depot treating her customers in this way❌ I drove my sisters to flushing Home Depot but I couldn’t found parking near the front door, I dropped them in the Home Depot and parked another side parking and waiting them check out , I saw the coffee shop next door , I went to get one coffee and back to my car , just 10 mins, I found my car was booted and I saw this notice. I right the way call the phone according their directions and was told I need pay $235 to unlock no others way. There have another 3 persons hold ticket , because they don’t speck English and they said they waiting their family outside and one is smoking because this are don’t allowed and another one is shopping for flowers but he don’t find the right one, we went to Home Depot store talk to management, the lady said that we should read carefully when we drove here for shopping. The driver can not leave the parking , but I only get one coffee, also My family is shopping inside now❗️❗️❗️Which law said driver have to stay inside shopping ❗️❗️❗️If you HOMEDEPORT really mind someone park here without shopping. You should check the receipt when they went out but you take this way to rubber your customers and you treat those consumers (Most this is Asian )can’t read and speaking English , you should use Korean and Chinese warnings ❗️In this way to rub your consumers, home depot are discriminating and fraud❌We will never return here❌

This Home Depot has horrible customer service. They will not have tiles you are looking for. Come here, expect disinformation and horrible customer service. I came here looking for particular type of tile. The tiles are mislabeled. So you find a tile you like on the wall, and then look for the shelf for the same number and letter. Is it there? Nope. You ask someone with a Home Depot apron. They inform you that they do not work in that section. They point you to the desk. I go to the desk and the Home Depot worker is helping another family. Ok, sure. Can she direct you to someone that help? She points to her coworker. The coworker sits and talks to his friend who doesn't work there while you wait. After a while, one Home Depot employee gets up, looks for the tile. He tells you that the other Home Depot location (Woodhaven) had 40 square feet of the tile that you are looking for. He tells me that they were just not interested in helping me. Oh great, that doesn't help at all. Then the same Home Depot employee scoots down the aisle, pretending to look at the tiles. He disappears. No good bye, good luck. No, sorry I can't help. Have a good day. Who taught anyone how to communicate at this location? No wonder all the contractors warn me about buying from Home Depot. Come here and expect Home Depot to waste your time. You will not leave with the right materials.

I have known this Home Depot location for past 15+ years now, and was one of the first to visit with my parents. Shopping here, along with other HD locations, I can comment accurately that the customer service and experience has been decreasing ever since. The store is dirty, shelves are not fully stocked, and floor associates are not helpful or knowledgeable about products and their locations. I use the Home Depot app quite a lot to navigate the store and find products but most often they are not in the right locations. This location has very long lines (almost 25-30 people standing at a time) with only self checkout ( only 3-4 machines open while rest broken) and 1-3 cashiers lanes open. I visited this HD location 2 weeks to get propane as my local Jamaica location did not have it in stock. The inside cashiers told me they didn’t carry propane and didn’t know any information regarding its purchase. I told them they indeed had it in stock outside and I needed to purchase it inside and present a receipt to get the propane tank from an associate outside. Only then did the associate along with a supervisor ring me up and purchased it and was along my way. Had to wait in line for most 6 minutes for this. Such level of incompetence is not warranted by associates who do a disservice to their customers and company.

I ordered 250 bricks and paid $80 extra for them to be delivered early. I only received 134 and the delivery guy told me to call the store because they were out. I called the store and the lady told me she would put me through to customer service. I waited 30 minutes and no one ever came back to the phone. I hung up and called back and the same lady who put me on hold answered the phone again and said she would put me through to the manager. the manager answered and asked me for my order number. Immediately after I gave her the number my call got disconnected so I thought it was an accident. I called back to customer service and asked to be transferred to the manager again. She transferred me and immediately my line got disconnected. After that, I got a call from Home Depot but no one ever said anything. I could hear background noise but no one said anything. Was I suppose to just stay on the line until someone said something? I waited 2 minutes and I hung up. I never spoke to the manager again and my problem still exist. I will need to go to the store tomorrow to figure this out. I bet you they'll just refund my money and won't do anything about the bricks. I will have to go find the bricks myself in a different store in order to finish my job. I paid $80 for nothing.

What is there not to love about the Home Depot? This is one of very few stores that tries to accommodate all of your needs, (especially all of your building needs in one location). I love the fact that Home Depot is not just for the men, it's also for the for the ladies and the wives that want to do improvements to the environment at home. Home Depot maybe should have been called Home Care. But then people would probably think that it was a nursing service or at home care for elderly folks. The Home Depot does not just include your home to be part of your home but also your surrounding areas: the plants, your garden, your decorations, even down to your welcome home mats. They have tools that are very job specific. An example to this would be their varieties of sanders. They have many kinds to suit many different needs. They also group the tools available by each manufacturer. It is very visually appealing to see the tools displayed as one family!! So if you're walking by a set of tools and you have one or two pieces of it, most likely nine times out of ten, there's going to be another tool that you'd want to add your collection.

One of the worst shopping experiences that I’ve ever had in my life; never enough people to even ask for directions in the store, let alone help. I waited for a long time to get help with something after I waited a while for someone to call the person who is the helper in the isle and area I needed help with ; then , I knew more about what I needed help with than the person who helped me and better yet they didn’t even say any new info ; and the store is dirty and disorganized and the worst part I ordered an item and paid for to be picked up by my contractor and when he picked it up they said they don’t have it anymore so then I had to go to another Home Depot to find something and that place 90% of their display was discontinued so every time I picked and item to order with the person there as he looked into he computer he said there weren’t any or it’s discontinued and this went on for hours and I can just keep going on about the bad experience in this Home Depot and the one in Manhattan on 3rd avenue so I ended up going to another store with excellent service and huge selection ; one of the stores near the flushing Home Depot for all my remodeling needs

Went to get color match for a paint. There were four people working at the station. I waited patiently for 20 minutes without a fuss. An employee came to help and color match my paint the size of a quart. Then she disappeared. I assumed maybe she needed to grab equipment, use the bathroom, etc so I waited. I waited for 15-20 minutes patiently and she still did not come back. An employee noticed me waiting and was asking if I needed help. I told him I was waiting for a lady who was servicing me but I wasn’t sure if she already made the paint or not/went to get supplies. He looks down below the shelf, and there it was my custom paint… I waited fifteen minutes for no reason. I’m not even sure if they even just pulled a random white color from underneath the shelf, we shall see if I ruin my walls. The employees didn’t have any attitude. Just please have some communication with your customers and don’t leave them standing there waiting for you. It was a busy day, in their defense.

I once worked for Home Depot sometime ago for many years, in various different departments. This location is, by far, the worst location I’ve Ever had the displeasure of going to and I worked at over eleven stores. The complaints I have can fill a page but I’ll use my most recent experience as the highlight of this review. I went in for a key, a relatively simple process and it’s painless usually, as long as you have some one to work the machine. Well... twenty five minutes later and many associate in sight with many a page on the intercom for assistance, I cut my key myself. After all, it has been ingrained in all associates to use the key machines in the store to assist the customer. But I guess not at this location? Only after I was done cutting my key did someone come only to ask me what I was doing. Good job guys! I saw the manager as I was checking out at the self checkout area but I know reviews online would have more of an impact. Thanks for nothing I suppose...

Home Depot is the place where you’ll find the WORST CUSTOMER SERVICE in town. No employees are there to help customers find materials/tools, I could look for it myself if the whole place wasn’t a mess and items where located where their app says it’s at. So today I had the terrible idea of bother an employee that seemed not busy (none of them are actually ever doing anything) and asked him if he knew where the item I was looking for was… well, he was sitting, he was not on his break, he never stand up and he told me not to interrupt him cause he was about to lose the game he was playing on his phone, he asked me to wait… I’m for real y’all… I’m actually attaching a video of this ridiculous scene… I said, never mind and I’ll figure it myself. When paying I asked to speak to the manager and showed him the video… he was speechless but I don’t think he’ll do anything about it. Another normal day at the Home Depot…

I recently bought 6 concrete sealer and a pump sprayer from this location. It turns out that one of the sealers was expired, when I tried to return it along with the pump sprayer that had all the sealer that I had pour, the manager comes and tells me that they had no way to confirm that the liquid that was inside the sprayer was actually the sealer, I understand their concern that some people could try to scam them but don't just make an assumption and just follow home depot return policy. Never thought of pouring back into it's original container but lesson learned, at the end I never got my money back and I had to trow away the sprayer because it already had all that expired concrete sealer in it. (I had use 5 of the 6 container but it was the very last one that was for sure expired, I noticed that the last container was yellow and very dense unlike the other 5 which were white and less dense.)

Came in at 7:30am, Went to the painting department this gentleman with black hair slid to the right, wore glasses, and i'm assuming he's asian. First of all he spent 5-6 minutes talking to his coworker laughing and using his phone while i am waiting for him to assist me. Then I asked him to make me a gallon of cathedral gray with matte on the scuff defense which is 37$. He then states that it would only be for the other cans that are 50$. I stated no, I got this before. He stated yeah years ago. I stated no last month. Then I decided to leave because of his attitude and when seeing his inventory I saw a stock of shelfs of scuff defense. Definitely will be contacting BBB over this. There was absolutely no reason for his rude behavior. I highly recommend going to the home depot in 124-04 31st avenue They will give you what you want no altercations and no nasty attitude like i experienced today.

I just bought over 500$ on items that I needed for the house. Including a solar light and a drill set I got home open the drill to put it to charge but it came with out the charger. So the drill set it got no purpose of having it. I when to open the solar light and the solar light came with out the part that get installed to the wall kit. I try to call cause I just got home it been less than a hour I been on the phone trying to reach customer service over 30 minutes and no one pick up.. But there is a phone with no one to pick it up and there ain't a website where you could get in contact with them. Is like they are trying to prevent the dealing with customer after they take your money. Waist of time waist of money waist of useless item that are not completed I wish there was a half star. They don't deserve a full star.

I went to buy some supplies, one of the staff was very helpful he came down off the ladder and walked me 4 isles away from what he was doing " great! However, I had to wait an hour and a half to get one piece of wood cut. I was informed only one guy can cut it and he's busy at the moment. Busy! , I heard them calling this guy 3 times over the com, Busy! The line got longer and two guys show up to get panel cut and they stood along with me as well only to be told " we dont cut it here in this section, what! , and they walked around the store as well waiting........,,, the other guy and Construction to do on a client's home and the client was calling his cell like a angry wife he was waiting 45mins behind me...... So I enjoy my day met and greet. So when I did get home , the cutting was off by and in. Smh........

The home depot of this location has been engaging predatory towing with their partner in crime, Queens Auto Towing Corp. The company have spotters waiting at the Home Depot's parking lot and extort a "towing fee" from the customers. Here's how they violate the law 1) They demand CASH ONLY. Why? So the owner could evade taxes? Every company is required to accept cash or at least two major credit cards. 2) Once you agree to pay the ransom for your car, they show up in 2 minutes. The towing driver was not actually towing your car but hiding it probably a block away. By law they are required to leave your car in a storage garage. I urge every customer of this Home Depot at Flushing, NY to file a complaint against this company via Department of Consumer or Affairs, and the victims can file police reports too.

I am very disappointed with the employees at hardware. I just wanted to get a hammer and screw set and there was nothing on the shelf even though they said that there was a like 25 on inventory. Employee was very rude to me and helped me poorly to get the ladder to go get the item from the shelf. He would’ve made it much more easier, but he had to be so difficult and give me ridiculous authority with B.S. reasons. I asked him why, and he refuses to answer, and gives me no explanations, very unprofessional. He rudely gave me the product and I know he said something under his breath that I did not appreciate it. He made my shopping experience very unsatisfying. The employee from hardware you know who you are, work on your customer service skills. You were very unprofessional and rude to your customer.

WORST EXPERIENCE here. I ORDER 92 boxes of tiles and when I arrived for pick up they were messing 16boxes. One of the boxes broke and another two were different color. They told me it’s the computer fault. It’s even worth one star. I told they should deliver 66 of them and I would take the rest of them. They told me okay but they’re going to charge me delivery fee. So after hr of waiting taking to the manager they said they will waive it off.three days later the guy delivers only 42 on paper. He told me call them, I called them and they told that I ordered 66 and they refund only the 4 I didn’t receive. And the other 16 I didn’t order. FOR GOD SAKE DONT ORDER ANYTHING FROM HERE. They would comply with you and service is the worst time of my life and now the tiles u got are uneven sizes,

Stopped in on Easter Sunday looking for medicine cabinets. Of course the cabinet we wanted was not located in stock below the display. There were no orange vests anywhere to be seen. We went to the paint counter where they paged someone to assist but that led to another 10 minute wait. Along wandered William with his orange vest and a stack of papers, immersed on another task but was kind enough to stop to assist. He literally dropped what he was doing to assist us (he left his papers in the overhead storage when he pulled the item we were looking for. Did I mention that he dropped what he was doing to retrieve a ladder to climb up to check for us?? My thanks to William and others like him who make the world a better place (well, at least a weekend visit to Home Depot!)

  • Danny Amith

Horrible service, paid $ for someone to come and measure a room for carpeting. Waited almost 2 weeks. Get a call at 8pm the day before the person is due to arrive. Guy tells me he goes home at 4pm so my scheduled time doesn't work for him, I scheduled 4-6pm. He tells me that he will ask someone else to come by and measure the room. Of course nothing happens, a day later I get a call from customer service telling me that someone else will reach out to me the next day, they assured me it won't be the same person as yesterday. I told them I didn't care who came so long the measurement is done after 4pm. I waited 2 more days, and nothing. I went in there and got my money back. Don't bother calling anyone in management, no one even answers the phone in this place.

Went in today to have my key duplicated. MinuteKey Kiosk was down so I had to wait for an associate to help me. Took approx. 20 mins to get it done. Associates at the cashier said they would call whoever’s responsible for key duplication to help me out, which they never did. I waited around 15 mins until an associate showed up who’s empathy enough to ask if I need help with key duplication and actually called whoever’s responsible for the key station to show up. What made me gave this place 2 stars is because the associate at the cashier had no problem making intercom calls for associate when someone else approaches them for help with another aisle, and while I was waiting at the key area for 15 mins. 5 stars to the associate who’s empathic enough to help.

This is the most disgusting Home Depot I've been to in my life. I dropped off my dad in the parking lot so he can get the pipe fitting to fix his drain leak. I decided to wait for him in the car, while waiting I was getting hungry so I stepped out to grab a pastry and coffee. In just 8 minutes, when I returned my car was booted and the notice said I have to pay $233 to unlock. I called the number to complain about the situation. They told me to either pay up or I can call 311 to complain about the situation. Basically a robbery at this point. Take your business to other Home Depot!!! This branch is trying to make a profit of this disgusting practice. I see tens of cars booted while I was there. They leech off unaware, paying customers. Shame on them!

  • yuchen geng

It was a very bad experience. I waited in line for 30 minutes and tried to use my military discount, but this salesperson called Catt asked me to queue in another place. She said she could not use it here, and I asked her to call the manager, but she was very indifferent, which was very serious discrimination. I don't understand this system, so the experience is very bad, which is totally different from the home depot I found in other places. I don't know if this is the reason that most of the customers in this place are Chinese, but the service attitude is bad anyway! I have reported to the headquarters that as an active soldier, I did not get the most basic respect. I hope it can be improved in the future.

I know the store can't do much about the people that shop there but some of the rudest customers I've ever encountered... that being said the staff was just as rude. Walked up to one employee and he said, "What do you want!?!?!" then gave a general wave to the location of the item we were looking for... problem was... it wasn't there. That was the tone for the rest of the employees that worked there too, except for one young man who worked in the carpeting department. Even though that young man was helpful, I'm still giving the store one star. Check out was a nightmare! Granted we are from out of town, but I would expect customer service should be the main priority no matter where the store is located.

  • xiaoguang lang

Employees are not helpful at all. I asked the employee are you working here and can you help me find plastic storage box? She said No, I am not working here. She wear the orange Homedepot uniform! The customer service is also rude. I believe the customer service just feel too boring to work and doing nothing. 4 customer services are available and I literally ask for return. Nobody ask me what can I do for you. Finally I felt angry and just ask can you do return? They looked at each other and seems nobody want to do their work. My feel back may help other customers and not want you feel disappointed. Avoid go to flushing store at all cost.

  • Filosophike Campoverde

After 6:00 PM, employees are gone. There's almost noone to help you. If you find someone he/she belongs to another area. The only employee available is this Spanish lady in the floor section who stays up to 9:30 PM or so. Everyone else is gone. The cabinets and stone section is empty. Noone knows anything about other sections. All employees should know about the whole store. The online page sucks 2 hours to purchase something. The worst page to buy online!!! Should train employees better, hire more employees, update a new software online. It's so disgusting to go back and see the next product.

My last visit here was pre-covid (over 2 years ago), and there were some noticeable changes, especially at the checkout section with fewer stations but wider lanes for social distancing. My random perusal of aisles showed plentiful stock on the shelves at my local HD store, and the public restroom is still available (which is always a plus). The local eatery closed, so you can't get your grubs from there anymore. I searched online via the HD website to locate the correct aisle for the item I needed to buy, and the product was right where the website indicated. Easy in, easy out. A+++

Worst home depot service today. I got two toilets picked up at this location. Both were defective. And i ended up taking them for exchange or return. This is fine and understandable. The worst part of all these is that I wanted to exchange one of the toilet. I waited there for ONE hour and nobody from the plumbing department to help me get the toilet from the shelves. And nobody SHOWED UP. I left the store because need to return to work. I went back again three hours later. Same thing happened again. No body showed up even after asked five times through different employees.

Terrible service, very rude worker in the lumber area. I was buying some lumber and wanted the their worker help me cut it. A shot Chinese guy was there and I waited more than 10 minutes for him to finish his cleaning work and politely asked him if he would help me with cutting the lumber, he didn’t even response for the first time and went another area continued his cleaning, I waited another 10 minutes and asked him again, he told me that I have to cut it myself with a hand saw since they would only cut the lumber when you are buying bundles, which is totally not true.

  • IT Guy

This is the worse Home Depot I had ever been. Staff was not helpful at all. Saw them stood in a group chitchating. Items were not organized well and a lot of them were very dusty and dirty. I was looking for a horizontal storage shed. Found it and there were 3 available. All of them with the boxes we either was damaged or got water mark indicated there was water there before. I would not come back to this store and not recommend to anyone if they have a vehicle. I would drive to the College Point one which is more organized and the staff is nice and helpful.

  • Vanie Mangal

Parked in their parking lot today. We went across the street to look at something and then went to home depot. Came back to the car with a boot on the wheel. It cost $233.17 to get it off! I called and apparently theres signs to warn us. We had to look HARD to find these signs after the fact. If home depot wants to charge TWO HUNDRED dollars for this then put up better & bigger signs. If we had known we wouldn't have gone anywhere else. Talk about taking advantage of people. $233.17! Where does this amount even come from. What a way to lose customers. ✌

  • Jim Scig

I had to go to both stores, College Point and Flushing in an attempt to get some plywood cut to a size I could fit into my car. Again the lumber department let me down. Both stores had signs on their saw which read "out of order". When I ask how long they've been out of service, I was told "for weeks". This was not only a waste of time today but this was the third time in the past year I've been disappointed by both stores inability to perform this simple service. I've given these stores good reviews in the past but three times to fail at the same service.

poor services。 after informed the curb side pickup item is ready, waited 3 hours for the item。 the item was still at the high shelf。 nobody help me to get the item。 Homedepot workers are not taking the responsibility。 they tried very hard to avoid to help customers。 Suggestion : Commission should be a part of the employees salary. Technical knowledge of the products should be a part of their salary. Regular training should be enforced. Employees' grade level should be determined by passing the technical exams and service exams.

  • Maria Martinez

Staff lacks common sense and manners. Spoke with one on the phone after an hour hold to check up on an order status. They typed it in wrong and proceeded to try and gaslight me into believing i never made an order. Took some time to convince her to retype it and it finally showed. A couple minutes after the phone call, i received notification that "I successfully cancelled an item." 100% sure she did this out of spite. Dont get me started on the long processing times for pick-up orders. takes a couple of nights smh.

While I have definitely had some great experiences coming here today was not one of them. This Home Depot has had a serious issue in the past with being discriminatory towards woman. Well apparently it’s back because you can’t walk in certain entrances when it’s raining so the white male security guard can feel superior while you gotta walk in the rain. Please hire people who aren’t rude like that. It’s not necessary and I can take my business to the other Home Depot or better yet Lowe’s.

  • Sheikh Rizwan

In there tv and radio commercials they pretend to ba DIY enthusiasts haven, but it's completely the opposite, pricetags on wooden planks placed wooden planks. In shelves showed different prices what you pay at cashier counter, I asked a person working in lumbar section he just told me prices are on shelves just match the barcode number with price tag. But the stuff on shelves didn't match any of price tag. Finally at cutting section had to wait for the guy for priety good time.

  • Luis Bazoberry

Please don't shop at this store. Not only does it take close to an hour to get someone on the phone, they also have a team unwilling to process online orders timely. My product arrived two days ago and they still haven't processed it, how long does it take for a person to scan a product adter UPS made all the work in the delivery process? Zero stars for the delays, specially the phone experience, shop elsewhere or have items delivered to you directly.

  • Zhao Daphne

worst of worst. Those workers in aprons are racists. Came in to copy keys, asked one worker politely and was told to go to cashier finding someone to make calls. Then went to cashier, the two women were chatting and I asked twice to get their attention. One told me “go! Just go!” Find those two in apron, they made keys. Very rude! Hi, Home Depot, please train your employees, customers didn’t come here to get yelled at. Pls tell them what is respect!

  • Bless King

Should learn some southern hospitality and common sense. AN EMPLOYEE helped me at self check out, was immediately harassed and stifled by Indian woman security guard that wouldn't let me out the doors until I showed her a receipt. Anyone that knows their rights, go about your business and pay them no mind. Bless their hearts. Other times, the employees are merely hanging or hiding around the store with no care to help. Typical New York experience.

  • JCS Bravo

One thing about. Home Depot employees have a terrible attitude. It's like THEY DON'T WANT TO WORK. You ask them for some material and tools. And they give you. A very bad attitude I buy A circular saw It was in the box. I don't know what box. It was open but I opened the box in the home Depot parking lot and the. Machine was. Used, the disc was burned and bent. Come back for My money. And they didn't want to give it to me, I had the receipt.

  • Kevin Vo

Beware of slow checkout process, especially when it's busy due to incompetent or inefficient management. My experience was that there were 3 employees assigned to assist the self checkout lanes, which only 4 of 8 were allowed to be used, despite nothing wrong with the other 4, and on top of that, 2 of the 3 employees were busy chatting to themselves, whilst their entire purpose was to only direct the line for self checkout. What a joke.

  • Kratos Heart

They have a wide selection of things you would need for any project, the only issue is that the employees aren't really helpful unless you absolutely know where the item is. I asked three employees for the location of a item, one told me another employee would come guide me to it but never arrived. Eventually had to search a similar item on the home depot website along with some googling to find out where the item I wanted was.

  • Sandra Song

They are terrible! They silently cancelled my delivery! I called to find out why and reschedule but they don't pick up the phone! Actually, I placed the online order on a different store. For some reason this store picked up my order and just decided to cancel the delivery! The email said an associate will call me but no one called me. I tried to call them and no one pick up. They are not responsive and irresponsible!

  • Robert Reynolds

I never knew about this great program they have at Home Depot where every month children can go and learn how to do a different project. In December the project was to build a gingerbread house. My five year old son had a great time working with a hammer, screwdriver, and paint. We will definitely be coming back again as my son really enjoyed it. We are looking forward to getting another pin on his apron!

  • wen zeng

I bought an LED lamp today, but I bought the wrong color. When I returned it, a woman in the return department said that this is not the receipt for this lamp. I am curious that I bought it half an hour ago. The address and time are displayed in Well, there is no way to refund me. Isn't that hilarious? It took a while to find someone to solve it. Poor reviews and service attitude is very bad.

  • Herder G. Rodríguez Ayala

Huge store with everything you might need for the house, now even a bigger section for the household cleaning supplies. Great nursing for the garden of you dreams. Yet lock of costumer service and I'll say some rudeness. Completely a mess at check out (1 single lane) absurd. Plus prices to be a whole seller are too high, you can get something cheaper at a local hardware store or online.

  • Steven Lee

Place is huge!! Staff are helpful but sometimes have no idea where things are located. I asked about where the ladders were and they just pointed me to a general direction and not knowing the actual aisle number. I wasted a good 10 minutes until I found my ladders. Checkout was somewhat slow but it was moving at least. Parking lot is pretty big and can fit a good amount of cars.

  • Orna Russo

Look, even when there's lots of online retailers.. for me, Home Depot wins! I've realized that even more when I needed lumber. I could probably save a few bucks, but what's more convenient than having a store a couple of minutes away if you need to exchange? And time is money, so it balances. The star I took of is because there's not a lot of stuff around to help customers...

  • David Chou

WASTE OF TIME: And they bemoan the rise of e-commerce and the death of brick-and-mortar retail...but it's a waste of time traveling here only to find less variety than even a discount store! How many tens of thousands of square feet in this location -- and only two varieties of neoprene gloves...95% of which are in Small?!?! Don't guys come here at all for gloves???

  • M Espinosa

They generally have normal people prices on their products, compared to the Midwest. Good selection and decent website....it does the locations of the products. Their aisle numbering is a bit confusing but not all that bad. Their customer service area for online orders is located right at the front door and the staff was helpful and friendly nice store overall.

  • Jisel

Love The Home Depot. Great staff, lots of parking, good variety and great clearance. My only issue after being a card holder for so long and recommending their service they have changed the hours for truck and tool rental to 8pm even though they close at 10pm. The price is still the same though they reduced the hours. Not very happy about this at all.

  • Judith Steiner

No one here to help. Even if you do manage to find someone to ask for help they don't know how to help or where what you are looking for is. I had to ask 4 different people for help finding an item because the first 3 just had no idea. I only went here because I had a gift card. I'll be sticking to my local hardware store from now on.

  • Samuel De Gannes III

Was threatened by a manager there, currently filling a law suit‍♂️. They don't talk to you right if you're African American. Even though most of the store is ran by minorities ‍♂️. Doesn't make sense. Don't recommend if your Black . Go to the Home depot in Elmont. Or White Stone. Better customer service. …

  • Jackie Townes

We only visited today to pick up some more solar Christmas decor, which they had. But we bought a few succulents while we were there because they had such a wide variety. And as we were preparing to head to checkout, one of the employees saw what we had in our cart and offered us a box to use. Very pleasant experience overall.

  • Ye Cheng Lin

The staffs here are more customers friendly than the other nearby store. The Pro line cashier rung up my purchase even through she just closed the line. When I need help, the staff get right on the intercom to summon help. The checkout lines are monitored, and staff direct you to the open line, so check out is pretty quick.

  • Pete R

Similar to.ther home depot places that do offer servoces and have lots of parking and many amenities for customers. As far as help there are people but not so many to choose from you need to wait to fond some one to.find. lots of parking. Lots of items to choose from and to buy. Would come again and recommend it to others.

  • Wendy

Well organized with great staff. I placed a huge online order to be picked up at the store. Everything arrived on time and was well packaged. The staff was amazing. Got great help from Jessica, Vivian, and Shakeema.. Everytime I had to pick something a different person helped but they were all extremely helpful.

  • Singhang Tai

Just went in to buy some light bulbs and the HD associates are very helpful. Everyone is making sure everyone is being help. This is the reason I always come back to THIS HD since I don't have to go to any other HD. ( That doesn't mean the other HD is not good, it just means I haven't gone to the other HD. )

  • TONY YANG

Expensive compared to Lowe’s and next door small vendors. And now, they won’t even accept return without a receipt. Luckily for me, I only had fire extinguisher from my business renovation to return, which I can also keep for my new house, but no more material from Home Depot anymore. No longer reliable.

  • Lou Sucre

Very well organized and well stocked. The workers were very friendly and helpful. I like the Home depot app , it tells you where everything is and in what isle you should go to . The checkout counter was not crowded at all. The only thing I didn't like was the parking lot. Very crowded and very busy

  • 恩meng

I really like this store. It's always well stocked (well except during snowmagadden but that's understandable), and has plenty of parking. The cashiers are always super helpful too. My bf comes to this store atleast once a week, and always has a positive experience. Stop by and give it a try!

  • T C

I've been there hundreds of times. There is never anybody there to help you when you need help. One time I had to wait 40 minutes while the only person who knew hardware was eating lunch. A far cry from the TV commercials, where a smiling, knowledgeable salesperson is always there to help.

  • Robert Feder

This review is about the Home Depot stores in Queens. I have recently been to the Long Island City, Flushing and Northern Boulevard stores. The stores are quite crowded. Customer Service is not bad when it's not crowded but pretty bad when it's crowded. They have an enormous inventory.

  • Yos Feit

What's not to like about Home Depot? I went to this location specifically because they had the large size basin wrench that other's did not have. On the other hand, nobody has socket wrenches bigger than one and a half inches. I guess not too many people work on locomotives these days.

  • Rais

Carlos D. the ASM at the Flushing, NY HD store is awesome. He was so helpful, polite and even printed out material for me to read. I wish if I had to deal with another manager he would be the one as I know he’ll solve any problems vs escalating and makes the customer feel at ease.

  • Scott Krill

Veronica managing the self checkout kiosks is one of the most anti-Semitic people working here. I'm appalled that she would not allow me to look up my tax exempt ID using my phone number zip code just simply because of my race. Extremely disgusting not to mention I am a veteran.

  • P Ark

Good overall. Had one thing I was looking for, but not the other. The new self pay kiosks should have contactless payment options and eventhough the barcode scanner is good, I can only imagine how many people touch them throughout the day. I don't see them being cleaned either.

  • Joseph Olewnicki

Home Depot has a parking lot and long hours. The cashiers are friendly. It goes down from their. The stock on the shelves is problematic, because it appears to be the victimized by frequent shoplifting. The prices are so-so. Staff knowledge is inconsistent in the products.

  • Olivia Li

I had a great experience at this location. It was mostly contributed to Jairo, one of the employees there. He was extremely kind and empathetic, along with professional and helpful. I can tell that he really did his best to help me and my family with our large purchases.

  • Jaime Cruz

Parking lot is full and people race in and out. Crowded store and you are stuck on a large line in order to be use self checkout. Waiting for people to work on the key area seems to also take long but can't blame the employees.... There just seems to be a lack of staff.

  • Michael Buckley

They have physically locked up a significant amount of merchandise in their shelves. I am sympathetic to loss prevention, but the store lacks the staff to support consumers shopping. It can take up to 15 min to retrieve an item and have it brought to the register.

  • jie ling

I ordered few items online, at the same time I also returned few items and purchased few … Ms. Shakeema at guest service was very kind and knowledgeable helped me with all my requests . She made my trip to home depot so easily and pleasant… thank you Ms Shakeema …

  • Ernie Taddei

À great place to meet someone in a çrowded pàrt of town. The snacks- however - like small bàg of chips or std size bag of M&Ms are each over $3!!!!! Yikes ...even the cash register man laughed at me for spending $13 50 on 3 snacks and a bottle of water …

  • Nissan Shapiro

I like Home Depot, just not this one. Unhelpful staff, things in wrong place. Items that are listed as in stock not on shelves. Even the order online takes the longer than other stores to fulfill. Would recommend going to the other location in area instead.

  • Luis Gomez

This was probably 1 of the most worst experiences I've had at a home depot, most of the employees weren't very helpful. There were a couple of employees that were helpful but that's it, overall I hope I don't have to come back because I left very unhappy.

  • Milad

They treated me badly when I was checking out a washing machine they told me to stop playing with it when I was just checking what it has like if it’s a smart washing machine, and if it’s protected with a micro bar her name is Helena or haliena …

  • JP Allen

Not all Home Depot stores are the same, some are nice & completely stocked, and some are rudely run & trashed items. Suburban store locations are way better than city Home Depot store location. P.S. please fix the app items location, it doesn't match.

  • Essam Gawish

Only 2 check outs operating. A very long line to pay. This has been the situation for over a week. Why is that? Also you cannot pay using the touch so you cannot use Google or Apple pay. Cash or physical card only. What happened Home Depot?.

  • George Karayiannis

Pretty organized compared to other Home Depot Stores. I was shocked when I went to the Hardware/tool section. Somebody really spent a lot of time to properly organize everything with their SKU codes and label them correctly. Good job!

  • Wilma Perez

I have been to many Home Depots and this is my least favorite. You can’t get any help and when you finally do they don’t have the best attitude. They really need to train their people to learn about the concept of “Customer Service.”

  • Doc

Sales associates are not helpful at all. All they did was hide out in the aisles and had an attitude if you asked for assistance, therefore I left the store with nothing whatsoever and purchased all of my tiles from another store.

  • Yen C Chang

Someone cut line but the cashier won't border to correct that person. Very very bad service. Blonde hair rude cashier. Check the dam camera. Is so annoying. Well luckily company have good products they are excellent staff too.

  • jose barrera

Associates should be there to help you, helping customer to find what hey are looking for, is a missing part at Home Depot. Totally disorganized, items all mixed... You have to dig into the shelf's to find something that need

  • Danial Kim

Always I feel satisfied when I shop there. Easy and verity items displayed (organized) very well. Parking spaces are enough for many shoppers. Especially, staffers are very kind and polite to me whenever I ask for something.

  • Isaak Niyazov

Register line is not well planned out. Used to love their return process and policy. Ex: just give people store credit if item in New condition, but no receipt or over 30 days. When doing construction, 30days is not enough.

  • xia chen

Waited over 30 mins to make a key copy. Make your self a key machine was out of order l. Finally got a staff to come and help, then he was called off by another employee, leaving my keys in the machine. Ridiculous!

  • Ex Terminate

Was treated disgustingly after not realizing there was a Home Depot staff meeting in the middle of the Door and Window Department trying to ask a question. Definitely makes me think twice about going back there.

  • Sophia Yang

Been here several times and no customer service reps are the floor can be easily found if you need help. Cashier line moves slow sometimes. They don’t answer questions nor will help you find things sometimes.

  • Morena Agueda

Our visit to Home Depot was excellent! We purchased a dryer! The lady that took care of us was AMAZING! Her name was Sophie. Not sure the spelling of her name. But she was unbelievable! Thank Sophie for us!

  • Foodstaham

Pickup lockers are great. They are right inside the main entrance. Enter your pickup code or scan your barcode and the locker will open. You can take your stuff and leave. Fastest visit to home Depot ever!

  • GC8

Came here to buy some lumber and couldn't find someone to help me select and cut the wood. Horrible experience overall. Would not recommend to anyone. Especially if you're in a rush to get back to the job.

  • Sam

The Home Depot you can do it we can help! But actually they don't help you! There service are very bad! I'm shopping here so many time, every single time when I asking for help and there is no one care!

  • t Garcia

Today I went to buy things at Home Depot and I wanted to ask an employee a question and he answered me that he didn't care and very rude his name is Jerry very bad that an employee answers you that way

  • Victor Lozano

Majority of the workers here do not give good customer service. A lot of bad attitude is given, especially when you ask for help. I have never had a good experience here. I’d rather take the to lowes.

  • Peter Yuan

I’m really appreciate the Home Depot employee Asa help me found out what I need.he’s very nice, professional, knowledgeable. He is a valuable employee of Home Depot . I saw him helped many people.

  • Billy Lazer

Worst curbside pickup I have ever experienced anywhere and rude employees. Also no bags for my items. Now here again 40 minutes for curbside pick up and very disrespectful employees. Go to Lows!

  • Jonathan Chae

This store has gotten much better since the earlier days. The staff is not always attentive of helpful but they are stocked well and organized. I have no issue with this as my go to Home Depot.
