One of the worst experiences I have ever had. Bought a really nice MAX AIR Compressor and it showed up damaged. The store didn't want to take care of it. Had to call the warranty company. They were very nice and sent parts 2 different times. Still didn't fix it. I had to replace the parts which I didn't mind .At that time I called the warranty company back to pick it back up. Was told I had to call the store back. So I go down there and they already new about the compressor being damaged? WTH Why would you send it out that way? But they did. I am there 30 minutes with David and he says everything is taken care of and they will pick it up Monday or Tuesday. I was in there on a Friday. Thursday comes and the compressor is still waiting to be picked up. Meanwhile the Home dept Credit Card company is calling me non-stop wanting payment. I explained to them the whole situation but obviously that didn't matter because they have called me everyday since. I call David back and I ask when is this going to be picked up I have the card company blowing my phone up. He puts me on hold for 15-20 minutes and then tells me that the driver wasn't able to pick it up. I was to told it would be Monday. I told him I want a call from his manager because this is unacceptable . He said he would have his Manager Gary call me . Well it's now Tuesday I still have the compressor and still have not got a call from anyone! I do not recommend anyone going here. All I want is my Credit Card refunded. Their Customer service is the worst. Oh and trying to get a hold of a live person at the Corp office is dang near impossible.

i went to buy a gas dryer I had seen the previous week at Home Depot - it had some scrapes but half price and it looked ok for 300 dollars off. A team member helping another customer, had to ask his associate sitting on a chair to help me? It was a painful ascent. Oh your making me do this look. I told him what I was interested in and I asked him if they could deliver; well he said thats half off and there is a delivery charge - I said ok - he went to the register and started figuring out the cost and gave me a retail figure.of $600. I am feeling about a 5 on the Richter scale, and some bolts are shaking loose. Again I said I want to buy that dryer which is half off and what will the total be with a deliver charge. A blank stare ensued and he said I don't understand? Again I said the dryer that is half off (pointing at the dryer ) and with delivery - He said well usually people just pick it up since its half off - I said ok thats an option but to have someone deliver it, bring it to my house, hook it up, can you do that - Oh no they just drop it off. You actually pay this guy or maybe he is a plant from Lowes. Like secret shopper, he is the secret - no matter how hard they try and buy it - don't sell it to them. Good Luck

We bought a large sample floor tile over the weekend for a new project we are starting. At the self checkout scanning the code on the tile did not work, a customer service rep kindly entered an item # manually and we paid by cash. The terminal was out of paper so we did not get a receipt. When we tried to return the sample today we were initially told that this is probably not one of their products as the code did not scan. We went up to the product bay and to the surprise of the person working the return desk were able to pick up another one of these tiles, which also did not scan. Next we took a photo from the shelf label, also that did not help. I left the product return desk to sort things out while looking for other products. When I returned Brianna, the area supervisor (?) basically told me that it is impossible that I bought this tile as it is only sold in cases, she stopped short in stating that I must have stolen the product. She concluded that there was nothing she can do for me. As the sample tile probably was just a few $$ I just left her with the tile and left. From a customer service perspective I can't recommend this shop.

I have been shopping at Home Depot since the late 90's and at this location (as well as others nearby) for the last 20 years. With the advent of the Internet it's easy enough to make a shopping list that directs me to the aisle and bay. I have purchased power tools and wood from this place as well as pool chemicals and electrical items. I also rented equipment here. I also took my daughter here on Saturdays for her to build and paint projects when she was younger. They gave her an apron (her size) and we have very happy memories. The staff is fairly knowledgeable but it really helps to do your own research online and ask the staff for help in pointing you in the right direction. There was only one occasion where I bought something that turned out to be a mistake i.e. I'd rather you not tell me something that may be wrong advice than to tell it to me as if you know what you're talking about in other words, if you don't know, don't make up something. The hundreds of good experiences far outweigh the one bad experience. Return policies are great and they give you plenty of time to return something.

hi, i would give HD a 5 star except , there has been several times when i went in and ask a question , yesterday i wanted a new blade for a jigsaw i had got about a year ago...its a ryobi , well this is the first time buy jigsaw blades ever! i didnt know if this one had its own or can i get the cheaper brand ? will any brand do? which do i need? so i found a csr and he was extremely nice and tried to be help full and he sounded like he knew what he was talking about, i asked him which blade i needed for this jigsaw, he said that they will all fit in the ryobi , i thought this sounded a bit off but what do i know , he works here , so i went with the ones He recomended, well as you can guess, they didnt work not even close..smh ...so really , this place is awesome except it seems to me that everytime i have a questiin about something i dont know about i end up having to take it back, if these people dont know or have the correct answer then say so ...wth ....but regardless i will just not ask any questions and all will be good .....i hope

Home Depot in Cave Creek, Az and Pete in the Garden Center in AMAZING! Pete has helped me on several occasions and I only visit this location BC of him! He is a plant/cactus guru! We recently moved to Arizona and therefor at somewhat unfamiliar with cactus. Pete spent a great deal of time educating us on cactus and different Arizona plants! He was so informative and my cactus’ are doing amazing! Pete also loaded all of my plants into the wagon and then into my truck! I can not tell you how important it is to have great customer service, educated employees and just over all awesome human beings! Pete should be the store director! He is the 5 stars and then some! Thanks Pete for teaching me about cactus and other native plants! You are so right about how to take care of them BC mine are so happy! I have to say that I shop at this home depot in regular bases, it was very sad to see that with all the precautions that we are all going through to protect us and everyone who surround us, the grand majority of employees were NOT wearing masks... It totally felt like a normal day for everyone who works there. Masks is the one thing that was proven to help low the numbers of infections, most places I've gone to, including lowe's, their precautions are much higher, they wear their masks and the cashiers wipes and desinfects their area after every customer. Here at this HD, none of that.... I will not be shopping again at this HD for a very long time. But I do suggest revisiting their covid-19 protocols, they should be promoting the use of masks and help our community by creating awareness that masks are worth while.

Very enjoyable experience, staff was very attentive to our needs, had whet we were looking for (fireplace logs) and we were kindly shown where they were buy an exceptionally kind and helpful staff member named Sam. My dad and I must have looked lost, and as soon as I looked up, Sam immediately looked at us with the cutest smile and asked us if she could help us find something. We were lost and needed help. She was in the middle of working in the indoor plant area, but she stopped to help us. Sam led the way and we found what we came for. Very customer friendly employee, she is probably a manager but not sure. This home Depot location is definitely well stocked and the friendliest helpful staff I've been to. Thank you Sam! and Home Depot! Happy customer

At least 15 phone calls, 2+ hours on the phone, being bounced around on hold when I did call, missed delivery windows, one month from initial order, my order is finally complete. Lesson learned. Do not order online and expect products to be delivered on time as requested. The day manager Pam was the highlight of my customer experience. There are other reputable plumbing supply companies in the area. They may be more expensive, but Home Depot lacks the ability to manage an order from order to ship/delivery efficiently. Pam did recompense at her level of authority which is appreciated, however trust cannot be restored. My only future purchases will be in store only. Order online at your own risk.

I had a front door handle and keyless entry product that decided not to work anymore. Of course, I have no idea where my receipt is, nor do I have the card I used to purchase it anymore. Aaaand the product doesn’t want to register in their system. Unable to find any record of me buying this door handle or anything, the ladies upfront were unable to do anything for me so I went home. As I was pulling in my driveway, I just was really bummed that I have a defective product and nothing to replace it with, so I called and spoke with a supervisor. Within 20 minutes I was back at the store and they had a new product for me, were so kind, and I can lock my front door tonight. Thanks you guys.

Just left your Cave Creek store. I wanted to get some information about a side entrance security garage door. I wanted to contract with Home Depot for a measurement, door purchase and installation. The salesman in your door department was busy with a customer so I wasn't going to interrupt. HOWEVER, a half hour later he had not concluded his business with the customer. And there didn't seem any urgency on his part knowing full well that I wanted to conduct business with him. Not even a polite..."sorry sir, as soon as I finish up here I'll be with you". This isn't the first time I've had an issue with salesman in your store. They could care less about the customer. I walked out.

Service at this store is non-existent. I walked the entire store not one clerk asked me if there was something they can help me find. When I finally got to the area where I think the product (travertine pavers) and veneer stone, I asked someone in the nursery if they could help me find the product? She seemed confused and then I asked another clerk who seemed to be the authoritative one in the nursery and she told me that what we have is over there. I said I didn't see any travertine or stone veneer over there even though the website shows it's available at this location. She said that if it's not over there then it's not here. A very lazy and nonchalant response.

I understand policies and I do not want to be 'that guy', but the customer service could be better. I was picking up a 10' Ocotillo and needed to impose on a friend with a truck. So after going there several times over the course of a few weeks waiting for them to get more stock, today they had stock so I picked one. Then I was informed that they do NOT hold plants even when paid for. I even spoke to a manager, Bill, who just dismissed me. So now I need to co ordinate, go back in like two hours and hope the one or two that I would buy are still there, or I have not only been inconvenienced, but so has my busy friend.

Would give 0 stars if it would let me. My son and I spent 45 minutes looking through an entire Christmas tree lot with completely dead trees. Every single tree was totally brown and dead (with exception of one tree which we figured out had been spray painted green). When I asked the attendant about the condition of the trees he casually said, "oh yeah, they are all dead." When I asked why they were still selling the trees at full price he told me if a tree was ,"like really, really dead" he'd consider giving a small discount. A small discount for a dead tree? Gee, thanks! and Merry Christmas to you too Home Depot.

I recently went to Home Depot to rent some equipment due to a flood in my home. I was immediately greeted by Dave and John who walked me through the process with excellent care. They weren’t there just to sell/rent me equipment but truly had a sincere interest in my situation. They were incredibly helpful and remembered me when I came back asking how everything went. It’s the kind of customer care that people can only hope for. Shout out to Josh as well. He helped with the final transaction. I will continue to go back there. Home Depot, you hired some great people. Thank you!

Tried this Home Depot, as the one at I-17 and Carefree highway has next to no customer service. Unfortunately, this has the same issue. Ask an associate if they have an item, they say that it is probably in x location. Responded that we looked there, but did not see any. Then the associate says, well, try online, the have a lot of stuff there we don't have in the store. I have a better idea, I will go to the corner of Carefree hwy, and Cave Creek rd. Their largest competitor is there, and they have customer service if you are looking for something.

They've gotten a lot better about orderliness and availability but I still noticed quite a few items are in the wrong places or missing. It's so frustrating to buy 5 house numbers only to get home and find that one of them it's completely different because it was put back in the wrong spot. I'm sure those folks have more to do then time to do it in but periodically it would really be nice if someone got in there and straighten things out. For a store of this size they should definitely never run out of items and it does seem to happen quite a bit

I waited outside in the parking lot after calling for my special order and being told that it would be out in a couple of minutes. 20 minutes later I called again and was told just about the same thing,, a couple of minutes. 15 minutes later they called me back and told me that my order was.damaged and they'd have to reorder it. I asked them to quick ship it, and was told they'd try. I'm pretty sure that's not going to happen. The order came in a day before I tried to pick it up, so why didn't they call me and tell me not to waste my time?

My husband and I went to Home Depot last Friday afternoon and needed help with selecting a bbq grill and some plants for our new home. We asked for help and we were blessed to get Barry to help us. He went over and beyond the call of duty. He helped us pick the best trees, bushes and a grill. Did I mention that he did all of this during a bad downpour and wind of a monsoon! He even helped us load all of our purchases and took us through the nursery to pick the best plants. He is an absolute treasure of knowledge and an asset to Home Depot!

Went to the carefree home Depot to pick up my dinette set when I got there they brought out the table we asked where the chairs were all were their chairs so they brought out the chairs after they found them in receiving after traveling home putting my chairs together found that there was no legs for the table call back see if they can find the legs. After finding the legs and receiving again ask them if they can bring them to a closer home Depot they said no so now I have to drive 60 mi round trip to go pick up four legs not happy camper

I've been to HD three times to get a five gallon bucket of elastomeric paint only to be told "we're all out, the truck will be in tomorrow, we'll have it then." Two days later it still isn't in so they called the Tramonto store and had a bucket "reserved" for me to go pick up. Tramonto store had no idea what I was talking about when I got there, neither the paint department nor the "Pro" counter. As soon as I finish this job, It's Lowes for me. I also had a terrible experience with the people HD hired to install carpet for me.

Worst customer service ever. The store was empty with 5 employees up front doing nothing and I could not get help after asking 2 employees. The kid at customer service thought this funny and laughed and danced as I complained. When I explained to my 15 year old this is not how you treat a customer the kid responded "uh oh....another complaint against me"(sarcastically and not concerned). Obviously the manager condones flippant, disrespectful employees. When I spoke with the manager it was like talking to a deer in headlights.

Huuuugeee home depot. And very nice and helpful staff. We had to return a water heater we purchased for our RV that ended up not fitting, and they staff was super helpful and more than willing to finish the return for us. We also needed some parts for water piping and a woman than helped us was very knowledgeable and kind. I really appreciate when the staff not only can help with your needs, but they don't make you feel stupid or belittle you. Definitely will be frequently shopping at this location.

I bought a Maytag washer and dryer from Diane today! She was so knowledgeable and went out of her way to make sure I got the best price for what I needed. I certainly didn't expect such "concierge" service! Home Depot definitely wins the prize in customer service and value for the money. After my machines were delivered and installed, there was a slight problem with the dryer connection. They replaced the part the next afternoon. I couldn't be happier with my new machines and the amazing service.

Went in to get a desk for the office. But they only had it online. Me and my 19m old daughter and husband walks out and an employee followed us and stared at us the whole time. We were extremely uncomfortable not sure if he was thinking we were stealing but I do not appreciate this. I called to let his manager know but he kept staring the whole time we were loading her up in the car. After we loaded her up he decided to quit staring and walk in. Poor experience extremely uncomfortable.

A good place to go if you want to be ignored, which is consistent with al; Home Depots. Particularly the paint department where they are too busy discussing their fishing trip last weekend. Which doesn't matter because they have a limited selection so weak I had to visit a simple Ace hardware to find what I wanted. Parking lot is crazy with people racing around. They almost exclusively use self checkout, so don't count on any help with a cashier. Go to Lowes nearby and get service.

I have placed two orders in store with this home depot and both have been a nightmare. Zero customer service, orders lost, employer used the ‘wrong system’ etc. Gentleman at customer service today was on his iphone, looking down, while I waited to place a $2k order. After 3 minutes of waiting I interrupted him to ask if his station was open and if I should go to someone else. Was rude and unhappy that I interrupted his text messaging. These employees and managers are a joke.

Good place for what you need. Like any other warehouse building supply. They work hard to keep the store well stocked. Only down marked because this store is small compared to the locations closer to the city and may not stock you item. You should check online before going, you may need to go to the Happy Valley location. Store is having staffing issues. Rapid turnover and short staffed. Curbside does not work here. They ignore you until you have to go into the store.

I'd be nothing if it hadn't been for this place. My local one on carefree highway has had the same staff for the year that I've lived here and it helps, because fortunately for us the good ones have stayed. You barely ever turn a corner and don't get asked for help finding something....they read my facial expressions and if I look puzzled or Something they'll try to help or get someone with knowledge in that particular area to help. I love this place and the people.

We purchased a GE washer and dryer from Home Depot. The buying experience was wonderful. Darlene and Kevin were very knowledgeable, friendly, and professional. We ended up installing the machines and pedestals our self. We are extremely happy with the machines and all of the features and capabilities they offer. Wish I could post another review after today's experience! Not with appliances, but with the plumbing department and store staff. Horrible service!

Worst run store I have ever been to. We waited over a half hour for shelves to be cut and NOBODY showed up or even checked in. We asked 10 people and no one could give us a straight answer as to where anyone was who could help us. Then we looked for a manager and low and behold no manager could be found. We will NEVER come back to this store again and we highly recommend to all of you that read this to never go to this store. Don’t waste your time.

Very poor customer service in plumbing department. Not one of the employees (I spoke to 4 different ones) was able to help me find a replacement fill valve for my toilet tank. They were all un-knowledgeable about even the basics. I finally gave up and went to Lowe's. I was in and out and driving away within 10 minutes after a very helpful and knowledgeable plumbing department employee easily answered my question and showed me the right part!

Worst customer service. Loaded a bunch of wood that was priced incorrectly and took which took a while to do. Got up to pay and found out it was priced incorrectly. Manager made us wait for 20 minutes to tell us there's nothing they can do and fixed the problem. Not willing to help at all. Worst home Depot of all time. Managers name is Janet. We did not make a mistake Janet. You guys did. So, won't be coming here anymore thanks for nothing.

5 stars to the cashier and also the gardening assistant. Zero stars to the corporate policy that requires that plants deemed not top quality when delivered are required to be destroyed. So, if a few plants in flat are damaged, the wholesaler leaves the flat, Home Depot is not charged, but they are put in a compactor. There just has to be a better solution. Please put your creative minds to work on this.

When I last visited this Home Depot, I was searching for pots and plants. I wanted plants that I could keep on my balcony year round in the Phoenix area weather. Staff were very helpful in helping me find ceramic pots, but they weren't very knowledgeable about the plants they had. I was finally able to find some plants there on my own and staff helped me find some pots that were on sale.

All of the staff are generally very friendly and helpful. The store is clean and well stocked. However, Bonnie in customer service has been rude, impatient and disrespectful every time my family has encountered her. She's rude not only to customers but to other staff in front of customer as well. This makes for a very uncomfortable situation when returning an item for example. =(

I need it a jumper cable for my daughter car, and I knew I could get here what I was looking for and more. The workers are always willing to help you with anything you are looking for, so if you ever feel lose and not knowing what are you looking for don't doubt of asking someone. BTW: they have the cleanest bathroom I ever seeing, to bad they need someone to keep the maintenance

If you need something for home , garden , construction , landscaping or Handyman work , Home Depot has what your looking for and then some , plus a good rental department for tools tractors , bobcats , trailers for hauling and power tools , there customer service is very good , even if your exchanging or getting A refunding their willing to help you take care of it , thxs

This store is a ghost town. No employees anywhere. I’ve currently been waiting in lumber for 35 minutes for someone to cut a piece of plywood in half. I called the store every 10 minutes to politely request someone come to lumber. Still no one has. Next time the added 4 minutes away to the Lowe’s from now on. Customer service is DEAD on Carefree.

Very helpful and knowledgeable people at this location. Must be long time employees and or retired contractors. They know their stuff. When checking out, the cashier asked what length boards I got, I told her two 8' lengths. Well she had to go measure them herself. Guess what? Yup, they were two 8' lengths. Helps to measure twice.

They currently have a giant bin of Tommie Copper face masks, which my kids love, two for $15. And I found my friend a Christmas tree here, they have two pre-lit trees, one 6 and 1/2 ft and the other 5 ft for only $40 each, which is a great price for a nice pre-lit tree. The 6 and 1/2 foot tree's lights actually changes colors.

Terrible! My husband just came back from purchasing 3 bags of dirt. He goes there every few weeks to see if they have any discounted bags (which are torn and sold in a special section of the store). When he took the bags to the cashier, she then ACCUSED him of tearing the bags!! Will be going to Lowes from now on!

Went to Tramonto store for Ryobi Staple Gun. They didn’t have any available but looked up next closest store that had them in stock which was Carefree. Staple gun at Tramonto was $127 and Carefree $164. Carefree would not honor sale price from other Home Depot. Lowes looking like much better place to shop.

After looking for an item with no luck, this Home Depot had one floor model in stock. Kyle was so helpful!!! He went above and beyond blocking off the holiday section to breakdown and get me the display. It was a struggle through all the plugs and zip ties but he did it with a smile! Thanks Kyle!!!!!

Then we chatted with Dave at the front desk about sunscreens, sizes, and timelines on delivery to store. What fabulous, customer-friendly employees they have. Superior service.

Home depot needs to get their inventory act together. I drove 40 minutes to pick up a rug they said they had 50 in stock however when got their no one could find them then after 30 minutes of following someone around they told me guess they never received them.

Didn't have what we wanted and they gave us the excuse that it was because of the pandemic. Then told me to check it out by asking other contractors if they are having hard time to find parts which proves the pandemic was the reason for the shortage in parts.

Fantastic selection of fresh indoor and outdoor plants. TONS of garden starts as well!!! Fully stocked shelves made it very easy for me to get everything I needed. All of the staff was extremely friendly and willing to help. I really enjoyed this Home Depot!

Michael in the lumber department was amazing! He helped us pick out clearance wood for a very simple project we were doing, and Bill, one of the managers, was able to cut it to fit in the car. One of the best experiences I have ever had at a hardware store!

Claims to offer military discount but you have to sign up through the app and be verified by a third party company in order to get it AKA they sell your information. Already fell victim to a previous Home Depot data breach, not doing it again.

It's Home Depot, The only thing that makes them different is the staff. Today I was fortunate enough to encounter a lovely woman by the name of Stacy who was an incredibly helpful. She was extremely knowledgeable regarding fasteners.
