I would like to express my appreciation and gratitude for Dr. J and his staff at Squaw Peak Dental for solving a problem I thought would be long term and bound to a life of pain. I was experiencing migraines and headaches lasting several days each month. My physician and other doctors blamed it on hormones and advised to alleviate the symptoms with pills and figuring out how to relax. I went through the entire grief process with the thought of and even accepted that I was going to experience this pain for the rest of my life. Dr. J expressed concern for my teeth and gums and recommended a night guard to help keep my jaw from clenching, and teeth from grinding. I did not expect to feel an immediate relief from head or neck pain, but I did! Waking up and working throughout the day without head and neck pain has given me a more positive outlook on who I am and the interactions I have with others. I have nothing but great things to say about this dental office I, like a lot of people, have had a lot of bad dental experiences in my life which has kept me from being consistent with my dental care for yeaaaars. To start off, the office is really clean The brushing station is one of my favorite things about the waiting area. The front office staff, Adi and Carrie, are so friendly and very welcoming. They make checking-in and checking-out a breeze. Dr. Khara’s dental assistant, Gisselle is so caring, so sweet and so attentive Dr. Khara is truly THE BEST DENTIST EVER He has an eye for detail; my fillings look so beautiful! I just came from The Peak Dental and want my experience! I have been going to Dr J, the fighter of tooth decay for 40 years and when Dr J went into partnership with Dr Khara, I was a little apprehensive…well, I must share that Dr Khara, Gisele, Carrie, Tina and Melissa are top notch! I needed two crowns and had some issues. This staff and Dr Khara were AMAZING in getting the issues resolved quickly, professionally and kindly. While raising my kids as a single mother, I made sure to keep up with their dental health while neglecting my own, since I couldn't afford doing both. Once they were out of the house, I was referred to Dr. J. to get my dental health back on track. Dr. J and his staff provide outstanding dental care. Recently, they cared for an elderly man who was having a "dental crisis". They recognized the immensity of the work he needed to have done and recommended a local specialist. They called the specialist and informed him of the patient's needs. Most professional staff I've ever experienced and I've been to many dental offices in my 75 years. My blood pressure was even normal! Dr. Khara was reassuring and approached exam, evaluation, and treatment with a collegial perspective. My hygienist, Marabella was thorough, not rushed, but work quickly and confidently once she was cleaning my teeth. I felt like I was the only patient in a busy office. And the view of Squaw, I mean Peiyestuaw Peak is amazing. From the waiting room to every examination room you will be captured by nature's beauty. It's why we call this place paradise.

Dr. Khara is very professional and considerate. During the past year I have had cleanings, fillings, an extraction and bone transplant. Both Dr. Khara and his chairside Assistant, Vanessa, were knowledgeable and gentle in their Treatments. Procedures were clearly explained. My hygienist, Tara, is thorough in the cleanings and provides helpful Information on proper dental care. The front office staff consisting of Carrie, Christine and others are knowledgeable and accurate about insurance, billing and scheduling issues. They are friendly and considerate.

We are proud to have Dr. Kahara as our dentist. I have recently had an extraction, cleaning, and a cap re-inserted. This doctor is a bright and articulate surprise compared to other dental experiences. He is not only very professionally capable, but his personality is warm, honest, and very caring. No one likes to go to the dentist, but this practice is very welcoming and comfortable along with a wonderful staff that commits to those traits. This doctor has broken a barrier that, although I am a patient, he absolutely feels more like a friend!

I am impressed with great customer service and quality of a dental work I received over the years from Dr. J and his team. Our family has been with the practice a long while. Currently I’m being seen for an Invisalign bite correction after I was hit in the mouth with a golf ball five years ago. They have been watching my front loose teeth continuously only to find out my bottom teeth need realignment so as not to hit my top four teeth and allow them to heal. It’s been a process but I’m very happy with the entire staff. We highly recommend this practice.

This is the best dentist office I have ever been to. The staff is so caring and funny. Dr. Khara is a very quick, straightforward, and affable person. They took care credit so I could pay for my dental work and I did not get the treatment of other big named dentist offices with long waits and a mile long to do list before my concern is even addressed. And I had zero swelling after my wisdom teeth extractions. 10/10 recommend.

Squaw Peak is well worth the drive! I live in Mesa and drove 45mins to North Phoenix just to see Dr J. We have been patients for more than 35 years and have never wanted to go anywhere else. Dr. Jorgensen sets a friendly and welcoming tone. Everyone is kind and thorough, explaining things clearly so you know what to expect at each visit. The entire office is very efficiently run and always on time. And the dental care is always exceptional!

Karyn is an exceptionally caring and competent dental hygienist. If you are under her care, it will be pleasant and without any pain. No shots!!! Dr J is the best in the business. I drive an hour just to get to him. He truly cares about you and always remembers me and my family and is a genuinely kind person. Karen was my hygienist and she did a great job and taught me a lot! She was very nice as well! I have been going here for years and don’t plan on stopping!
