"Rude staff, some young lad must have made it to some supervisor level has no manners"
Manager was extremely rude, dismissive and had absolutely no customer service skills. I went into the Enfield store for 4 bar stools I had seen online but were out of stock online. In store there were 6 of the stools boxed up individually. All 6 boxes were damaged, you could see they had been returned and not repacked (a few of the boxes had the name and address’ of customers that had made returns still attached). I chose 4 of the boxes that were most intact. 1 out of the 4 had a hole in the corner and the bar stool leg was exposed and had chips and scratches. A young polite retail assistant suggested speaking to the manager about discount for the damage after I asked if discount would be granted. The manager came over (no greeting ). She said no discount would be granted as it was “only the legs that were scratched” and said “it would get scratched anyway”. I explained that as I was buying brand new item at full price I would expect the item to be in brand new condition, which it wasn’t. Just because there may be scratched due to wear and tear once bought, does not mean I want to buy it this way. The manager said there was no damage, only scratches and that no discount would be issues. I asked the manager if “scratches” are not classed as “damage” she said “not really”. The manager said she would call the other manager on lunch break out to see what she thinks. The same manager came back ALONE, she said the other manager also agreed and said no discount would be given. Please note, the other manager did not come and look at the stool herself. The same manager said she suggested buying the stool and if we don’t like it, return it. My partner then said “we can already see the condition is not great”. Manager rudely said “well don’t buy them then, someone else will” and walked off. Rude and unhelpful. How do you sell an item at full price when it is not in brand new condition?
As a previous reviewer (Chris A) said. Nothing has changed. Loads of items with no prices so you walk around begging a shop associate to check the price, where they make you feel like an inconvenience for daring to ask them. The tills are sparsely manned even when there is clearly a long queue growing (I wouldn’t want to go Xmas time especially where you get penalised with a parking fine for daring to shop over 2 hours!). It usually takes a very BRAVE customer to speak up and ask if they can put someone else on the tills! Which brings me to their almost useless app which although has a scanner, it mostly comes back “item not found”!!! So you have to take your life in your hands and find either a member of staff to beg to check or wait until you reach check out and just leave if too expensive! Remind me what year this is? Oh yeah I remember now 2023 . Unfortunately this is the norm EVERYWHERE instead of the exception!
I recently visited this store, and I was thoroughly impressed with the wide range of products they offer. The store's layout is well-organised, making it easy to navigate through the diverse sections, from home decor to garden supplies and everything in between. Whether you're looking for furniture, kitchen essentials, or even craft supplies, The Range has it all. The value for money is exceptional, and you're sure to find great deals on a variety of items, especially Christmas stuffs. The staff is friendly and always willing to assist, which enhances the overall shopping experience. It's a one-stop shop for all your household needs. I highly recommend them to anyone looking for a convenient and budget-friendly shopping destination with a vast selection of products. It's a fantastic place for both everyday essentials and unique finds.
Visiting day 2 August 2022 at 9:00am I went for particular things, so the store literally wasn’t busy I was looking for a staff to help me but I couldn’t until I asked some staff to help they said this is not our department so we can’t help I was annoying, cause was hot inside plus I’m having a baby with me So I carry on looking for someone to help me Finally I get a very nice lady who was doing cup on some shelves I don’t know her name but she was absolutely helpful she helped me with the measurements even she carry my curtains to the tills, she helps even she was in different department, Also another guy I’m not sure his name( Kelly ) also was a amazing U both a benefit for the store, Thank u so much both Cause of u r service I gave 5 star
Rude staff, some young lad must have made it to some supervisor level has no manners. After being rude to me he went to am isle with one of his female colleagues to hold hands lol Clearly was on an ego trip to try impress his friend, all he had to say was non in stock and refer me to web at the very least. Needs to get taught some customer service skills and realise he hasnt made it in life just because he doesnt need to wear the uniform! Range of itmes in store is good, most staff here seem to not have any training in customer services, it may be a better idea to just have a self checkout till seeing as they never have anyone on tills! Got my item online from the range web, that's all they really had to advise with a smile!
My mother is wheelchair bound therefore we are limited in the number of places we can visit. The range is fully accessible with disabled parking by the front entrance. Queuing lasted for about half an hour on entrance and the same for the checkout. Everyone is required to wear a mask and they temperature check you on entrance. I would recommend some warm clothing as you will most likely que for a bit. However it is highly recommended for not only Christmas lights and ornaments, they have many other things for sale also. Even DIY and arts and crafts along with sweets etc. The only thing I would recommend for the range is perhaps a safer way to que splitting pedestrians from the carpark.
You can find everything you need here for your home. The whole place is well set up and tidy. The space is airy and it feels comfortable to get around. The only thing is, some of the people who work there are really below average. It is North London after all so if you're coming from a more affluent town, you might be used to customer service workers being a bit more put together and so find their behaviour off putting (e.g they won't go the extra mile for you, shouting loudly at each other and laughing like crazy hyenas). The classy appearance of the store contrasts with the type of people who work there.
Good range of stuff here, garden centre part is one hell of a let down. A few fence panels and some bags of dirt, a garden centre does not make. There's a cafe in here. I would advise not to use it, food on display but high prices. Never seen anyone eat in there either. No public toilets. Customer service does need a makeover though. a lil rude, all I did was ask why the shelf ticket was a lower price than the till receipt. Got told they will get round to changing it as products were miss placed on shelf. I hope for their sake nobody calls trading standards..
What a dump hole. First impression It looked like a reject store so I had to ask and they said it’s not a reject store just one of the old stores. Dark and dingy. Looks like a jumble sale everything everywhere. Cardboard thrown on floor. Lack of products and items. Proper tip. Should be closed down. It is my local one but I rather do the hour and half journey to the croydon store. Staff were rambling on about they want a coffee and biscuits. I mean the store only just opened, don’t they know about breakfast. Won’t be visiting or recommending that’s for sure.
I brought 3 blinds Tried to bring bk to store un opened jus needed slightly longer ones I wanted to exchange apparently company policy when items are on discount they can't do anything. On top of that they were rude and one of the staff confronted me aggressively and was laughing at me and edging me on. I will never shop there again rude nasty people. Manager was rude and stuck up. I will be coming back and making sure the £45 that I'm out of pocket for they will pay. I will be damaging everything..
Very rude store manager! Would not even put 1 star if I could. Usually when it happens once I let it slide. However, this store manager is rude constantly (on many of my visits). I never leave negative feedback however after visiting another The Range (which was such a great experience) I realised that I should let it be known that she should repeat her customer service training as such behaviour put me off from visiting this particular store in Enfield.
I love this shop, good value for money and great range of products. It’s very convenient as you can shop for your household needs including furniture and decorations, crafting products, toys, party essentials, pet supplies and even gardening products. The only downside I have experienced here is the cashier line. Generally one or two people serving and a long queue of customers, god forbids one wants to return an item!! Overall worth the visit.
Love the Range and all the products it has under one roof. My issue is that they are overstocked and everything is everywhere they even have unopened pallets on the shop floor. It was a really wonderful cafe and the man who served us was amazing and polite. Staff seemed friendly enough although there didn't seem to be enough of them for the size of the store. Could do with a really good merchandiser to make the store more organised.
Store was very messy and unorganised with a lot of items had no pricing labels on them. The furniture section had its own unorganised office lay out which was just super messy with a used chair in the middle of the shop that said “don’t sit on the chair, for staff only”. The store has potential it’s just very messy and dirty. The garden had broken ornaments and wasn’t clean, broken items everywhere and plant pots thrown anywhere..
I just love this store, I love it even more when staff Sammy is around. Sammy is one of the most helpful people I've ever met. She not only helps you to find stuff in the store, she does it with such pleasure and always makes sure you're happy with the product and will always recommend or find you something else if you are not. She's never too busy to help. She is always approachable. Stay safe Sammy. God bless.
Sells homeware and garden stuff. Nice range - excuse the pun! Never busy so feel comfortable, good to browse the different sections. Particularly like large sections of kitchen bits, pet accessories and seeds. Bad points, always seems understaffed and not everything priced up. But overall good store that was my go to place for so many things during Covid because they made good adjustments and stayed open
Long wait at till. No queue management/disorganised. People behind me got served before me at another till. No clear signs for public toilets As with other reviews there's no AC. Very stifling, uncomfortable which made long wait at till even more uncomfortable & get this the Heating was ON in store when 25/26⁰ outside, in July! Radiator on/hot in toilet. Imagine conditions during the full heatwave.
The Range has such a wide variety of products on sale that I challenge anyone to visit the store and not buy anything. They have everything you could ever need plus a lot of things you didn't know you needed. The only trouble is that the queues at the tills can get quite long when it gets busy. Always worth a visit if you are having trouble finding something somewhere else. Plenty of parking too.
A lot of products, untidy though, it seems that they always doing some reshuffling around. Prices not bad with some items being very cheap. Staff seem to be busy yet the place is constantly untidy, maybe they need more Staff... the plants outside were in appalling condition and no Staff member is allocated outside. If well managed with enough staff can be an excellent place to shop.
I love the range and the products but unfortunately recently the Enfield range is very unorganized resembles a jumble sale and majority of the items have no prices on them or on the stands. When staff was asked no help was given we were told to go to the till! It is a legal requirement to show the price of items on sale but more times than not there is no pricing to be seen.
It's a very big bargain store with lots of things. It's a decent store with nothing special about it. The cafe looks a bit sad and is pretty messy and untidy hence the 4 stars. I also love how they have Wilko products, especially since I love Wilko, I also thought Wilko would have its own section. I also didn't really get that much but it's a great store though. 4 stars
Experienced the worst customer service at the enfield branch. Bought a lamp and got home to a missing stand explained it to a number of colleagues but refused my refund due to the receipt being one day late even tho the item having missing parts wasn’t my fault. Won’t be shopping at the range again and would also be advising everyone not to also!!!
Fun shopping experienced and friendly stuff. I marked down as there are so many products without price. When asking staff they say you need to check at the tills. Not much of a point to take a full trolly for a price check. And this is based on a few good visits not just one. Something to work on. Beside that, always fun to spend an hour around.
This is for an online order. Tabletop fireplace had missing parts. I Sent multiple emails. Waited for a very long time for replies. A simple return for missing parts took multiple emails and multiple trips to the store to talk with managers/supervisors. Worst service ever. Really poor unacceptable service from a company as credible as The Range
Hello We went to return the Curtain today, and customer service is very poor. I buy online and just want to return to store. They reply to me,they no can't take back bcs the need to pack same how the arrive. I just pack normal and put back in the original bag,and still coment... I don't recommend to return to this store items from online...
First time visiting, was very impressed with the range of goods sold. Very reasonable prices, plenty of parking available, friendly staff. Will definitely be going again. Still a great shop, always have different household goods so it's nice to see new items for sale. Definitely a must, have been visiting frequently as I love the store.
This place is a disgrace I bought a product on Friday … took it back on Tuesday and they couldn’t even give me a refund, misplaced the receipt … I even knew the time I came in Friday to see me on CCTV ….which the management just faffed me off. Goods are cheap and nasty Chinese, knockoffs… Customer services is rubbish !
Disorganised, messy, prices missing on several items. No info on dogs policy on company's website, I was asked to leave whilst holding a 13 week-old puppy inside a bag. My husband bought a privacy screen and it was completely rusted and full of mould when opened, unusable. It seems like the Range has given up.
Majority of items have no prices on them. The entire shop floor has boxes all over with some staff unpacking, barely get through isle because of this. Message to head office... how about employ people to unbox and fill shelves when shoppers aren't around and do it out of hours?? Liability waiting to happen.
Not happy with my service what so ever. Because I handed cash for £££ I got looked down at because I didn't use my card well I do apologise but the law ain't changed yet. Never enough staff to ask for help if needed. If there is there walking around on there phones or chatting to there members of staff
This store is okay. I went there mainly for the arts and craft section, which is absolutely amazing. Such a RANGE of crafty things to find. I would agree with thr comments about pricing, a large number of things are not clearly priced so you can get a shock when you go to the till and see your total.
Well stocked with Christmas stuff but some items weren't priced which was annoying. Went for Christmas tree baubles, there was a good selection and good value I think. Craft section had what I wanted. . Staff could be seen and were helpful. Got there for opening time but was getting busy as we left.
Needs urgent attention, lack of staffing and customer service. Cost cutting on staffing must have impacting this store. Store is very messy, gaps and missing prices on items. Great difficulty navigating the store due to pallets of stocks on most of the isles. Seems very neglected and unattractive.
It wasn't very clean or tidy.(possibly untidy because of Christmas stock) Stuff all over the place. Tiles broken on one part of the floors. Asked at the check about stickers for writing on for our jam jars as we could only find small ones, didn't know if we did and didn't offer to ask.
Good selection of 'stuff' some pretty cheap some not so cheap but the pricing is abysmal (more or less everything we were interested in had no price labels), and much of the staff seemed to have been trained by Basil Fawlty (would imagine the pay is as abysmal as the pricing)
A good place to visit for a wide range (no pun intended) of items: homewares, arts and crafts, seasonal (Christmas and Halloween at the moment), garden items (selection of plants a bit sad at the moment), pet supplies, to name but a few. Large car park so very easy to access.
Tuck in the industrial estates, the Range is a great place for finding little decorative treasures at nice prices. There is a generous free car park and it is on one level. It is packed and aisles are quite narrow for those with limited mobility using rollator or chairs.
Nice little store with lots to pick and choose from. I went there on this occasion to pick up soda stream refills which work out cheaper to do here than Argos. There was some confusion with the exchange mechanism but it came good in the end.
Honestly the most chaotic shop I've ever been in! The staff are lovely and obviously trying their best but nothing is priced and now there's a crazy amount of Christmas stuff taking over at least 2 thirds of the shop. Seems a bit insane to
Well where do I begin no staff anywhere if you need anything, most of them were outside smoking and laughing their heads off, not helpful at all bless this lady who needed help she had no one coming to her looked like a jumble sale in their
Love this store and would of given it 5stars but it is always so untidy and so many products still dont have their price tags. It must lose them a LOT of business as people like me who can't be bothered to go and ask for a price check, as
One of the better Range stores, although always busy. Lots of stock, great selection of items for home, electricals etc. Also well located as opposed to other stores. Has its own car park and isn’t wedged amongst other large retail shops.
The store looks tatty and uncared for. Manager was discussing personal things with a colleague in the store...not very professional. Asked another colleague for an item which she said we don't stock, despite me seeing it the day before
It was very messy as they were having new stocks. So many items did not have price tag. It was confusing. Tried to get some decorations but they were mainly broken. The one item was faulty we realised at home. Had to return it back
It's OK, there's lots of nice things you can buy for your home, but it's not as nice as some of the other branches I've been to however, everytime I've been here, the customer service has been good, staff are helpful and friendly!
Good customer service and suggestions from assistant in the Arts and Crafts section. The cashier was helpful and no quibble over giving me a refund for an incorrectly priced item. Loved all the Christmas Decorations and displays.
Just love it. Almost everything you need for your home decor and more you will find it there. The staff is nice as well and there is a section dedicated only for garden and outside sitting. I highly recommend this place.
Terrible shop! No prices on items, items all over the place. Very chaotic, no one on tills. Had to leave while waiting in the line. Will not be going here again. It's a shame because they did have some nice things.
It was great big warehouse type shop. Easy to park and do shopping. Price range wasn’t cheaper than I have been told. All getting for Christmas and not much option if you are not preparing for Christmas.
Been here many times over the years. But it's now very disappointing. Still lots of products but display and general feel/look now rundown. The outdoor gardening section is a joke ! Cafe still ok ...ish.
I have never been ti a range that was a total mess There were boxes of stock piled up in the Isles nothing out. No prices on the shelves of stock that was our and it was all just thrown on. Total mess!
Great "range" of products and always impressed with what you can find. There were many blocked aisles, pallets everywhere and wrong prices on tills. Perhaps related to staff shortages or illness?
Staff weren't very helpful with product placement or offering alternative to what we needed. Wasn't expecting a life changing experience but a point in the right direction would of been helpful.
The Range is a great place to find great things to make your house more homely. the only problem is all the ones I have been to are always understaffed so it can be a pain finding help or paying
Very busy on a Sunday and the shop was a mess. I didn't buy anything because everything was everywhere so it was difficult to find the things I needed. Only good thing is they have free parking!
A peaceful shopping experience at one of my favourite shops. I actually left an item there, and called this morning to let them know. I was told the item was there and l could collect it today.
Good stuff and big selection but staff are very poor. Unhelpful staff when you need help and customer service at the tills extremely rude and unprofessional. The store is not maintained well.
It's a lovely shop with good products and prices but it just seems sometimes theirs no where to put the stock so the staff have to put it on the shop floor, staff always polite and helpful.
Love this store very good quality products been coming to this store for years still have the original garden set i purchased 14 years ago and recently I purchased rattan style furniture.
There is a lot of choice but that means there's a lot of tat to sift through. Store is massive. Was impressed with the arts n crafts / DIY section. Lot of staff on hand to assist you too.
I love Range in Enfield but these past few years it smells awful inside. Really puts me off going there. The staff are great but the odour is unbearable. I'd rather go lakeside Range
This place seems to be in a mess, maybe not enough staff to keep an eye on things. I could not find anyone to answer my question and the only person I found was going on lunch.
Good shop but there is no execuse for raw sewage in the car park - lasted for over two weeks. To think a cafe next to sewage- it’s just not safe - do environmental Heath know?
Friendly staff if u can find one. Great Christmas decos. Very long queues at the till and lots products didn't have a price on them. Reasonable prices and big free car park
A shop that lives up to its name, housing all kinds of convenient items. The only issue is that this particular store is messy so things aren't where you think they are!
Range has good variety of products but most of the items they don't display the price tag. We wanted to buy more but didn't know the price. Parking area is great.
No prices on alot of stock have mess in most isles and paying more than price advertised on products when it was discounted and still charged my original price
Lots to choose from. This was my first experience at the Range. I would definitely recommend shopping here. Plus the staff was very friendly and professional.
Very packed but well staffed. As most shops are over Christmas, there were pallets of stock everywhere and busy bee’s buzzing all over restocking as they go.
This was a ripoff range store.we could barely find what we needed it was also boiling and no air conditioning.also the worst part was unfriendly service.
Do like the range but again they don't seem to have staff that know what they are doing. They have also stopped some of the the stuff they use to have...
This is the 2nd time we visited this store. It's such a mess. Range used to seek some good quality goods, now it's just another poorer version of BandM.
Great store. Great arts and crafts section good pets section and gardening and all most everything else for the home. Great prices and great staff
Was there with my wife and could smell dead rats in shopand live ones running abojt in tbe garden centre area they were eating the bird seeds etc
The Range is great has everything for the house and great value also. Anything you need they have got and I love shopping here all the time.
Well stocked and easy to move around. Only a couple of disabled parking bays and the parking controls don't seem to be properly enforced.
Not the best store. The artist section in particular has gone downhill. Had to go to Hobbycraft. More like an up-market home bargains.
I went in to get the table cover. The girl was really helpful who cut it out for us. Got some flowers and was out in 20 minutes.
Has the feel of an empty warehouse! Staff were not too helpful. They just couldn't be asked! Will travel to Romford next time!!
Big variety of different things you might need at home, decorations, lighting, outdoor furniture etc etc.. Competitive pricing.
I love the range, but what an absolute mess of the store and very few staff around...but those that were around were friendly.
Needs a bit of organising aa shelves are a bit like a boot sale, but the crafting section is huge and that's what I went for.
I like this shop because almost every household or gardening products i need i can find them here for the reasonable price.
Cheap an cheerful Chinese made stuff to fill your home and garden. They do what they do well. Pile it high, sell it cheap
Very cluttered and untidy when i went. Lots of stock in random piles. I can only assume they were foing a stock move.
Bit of a jumble sale , rearranging the store at time if visit. Hard to find what we needed, staff to busy to assist.
Amazing place! Every time I shop there, there isn't a mess, everything is so organised! Really recommend this place!
The store is a mess. Always looks like they are in the middle of a massive stock change. Shelves half empty.
The Range is always a great place but extend parking to 3hrs please so we can shop and have a cuppa too
Melek was very helpful and so polite she helped me find just what I needed with no problem. Lovely lady
Huge selection of household items, xmas decorations at this time of the year. Garden and DIY section
It good. They were restocking at the time however it was a good experience. Good staff interaction.
Great little place drinks are not very cheap, but not over expensive customer service is great.
Not a bad shop to be honest.staff could because little more helpful but apart from that it's ok
Can be hard to find the price for every item, otherwise NO complaints. Massive range of stuff
Now it's getting close to Xmas the Range has everything in decorations you could want
Lots of beautiful home items, christmas decorations are amazing great for the money
It has a wide variety of products and the prices are reasonable, I really liked it.
They send me carpark fine!!! This is soo stupid!! I will never go there again!!!!
Great selection of all kids of stuff for the house at very reasonable prices
