My friends and I were let in after all paying a cover fee and were honestly having a great time. One of my friends, however, was pulled to the side and told "cover up or leave." She was wearing a sleeveless crop top and jeans, much like everyone else in our group. (Her and I wore almost exact matching outfits) We all had revealing outfits, as did almost every other girl that was there, but my friend, also the only black girl in our party, was singled out after we had been there for hours. I gave her a short sleeved zip up jacket I had tied around my waist to "cover up" while we tried to figure out what was going on. After she "covered up" she was STILL asked to leave. At this point, we asked to speak to a manager or owner to get to the bottom of why she was being singled out but everyone else, myself included, was allowed to carry on. The staffer in charge of telling us to leave was very polite but the owner was downright rude. No one was cussing or yelling. No one was acting belligerent. We explained what happened and asked for our cover charges back or asked that we be allowed to stay since we had been 1.) let in without problem and 2.) had been there for hours without issue and he became irritable and told us we couldn't tell him what to do. He then began making assumptions that my friend had gotten angry and beligerent with his staff and that was why she was asked to leave, which was not the case. He could have asked the staffer to back us up, but also refused to do that as well. We've been to the Red Room many times in the past wearing similar (and honestly more revealing outfits) and have never had problems or even heard about their specific dress code until now. We will not be returning. The staff was as nice as they could be in the situation and even told us that they didn't have a problem with the way my friend was dressed but the owner was downright rude and treated us like we were a bunch of belligerent idiots when we were nothing but nice and just trying to figure out what was going on.

After reading other reviews about racial profiling and over zealous bouncers, I can see why our evening ended on a bad note. We stopped by, had a couple drinks and enjoyed the atmosphere and the nice patio area. The evening was going smoothly until one of the bouncers very rudely told me to “ move out of the way of the door”. Keep in mind the door had been open all night, but I think it was a part of his closing duties to keep the door closed. The tone was extremely aggressive considering I was a calm, paying customer. I’ve never been spoken to so disrespectfully by a security guard before, so it was pretty jarring. My fiancé came to my rescue and told the guard to calm down and that we are moving. The guard began to argue and scream and both of us and advanced towards me aggressively! He began to argue back and forth with us from that point, which was totally unnecessary considering we left the doorway as instructed. Seemed like a power trip if you ask me. After we were kicked out, a very professional guard named Austin calmly explained what the closing procedures were and why we were asked to move out of the doorway. He then apologized profusely for the inconvenience. During the conversation the first rude security guard came BACK outside to yell at us some more! Is the staff not trained on how to handle these types of simple conversations? I found myself repeatedly trying to deescalate the situation and I’m not even an employee. At this point we spoke to a manager and he again apologized profusely for the behavior of his staff and treated us with the respect we asked for from the beginning. So if you stop by The Red Room on a Saturday night, you might end up being targeted by security. Not worth a second trip.

Do not go to this club! The bouncer was very disrespectful and racially discriminant. I was on a group date with my boyfriend and his brothers. We walked from the comedy club (in our Sunday Best and heels) to the Red Room. As we approached the entrance, before even getting up to the bouncer, he yells down the sidewalk to my boyfriend's cousin, "I'm gonna tell you right now I can't let you in with that oversized shirt." Of course we were confused because he had on a button down plaid shirt, that was maybe a size 3X (he's a big guy). It fit him quite well and it wasn't far past his belt. He told him he had to take his shirt off and take it back to the car! We asked for clarification of the dress code, and he was very rude saying, "I'm not going to argue with you, no oversized shirts!" We were all shocked because the shirt fit him appropriately for his size, and a smaller shirt obviously wouldn't fit him. I asked to speak to a manager, and was told I had to pay a cover and come in the club to do so! I respect rules and dress codes, but I definitely felt like this was discrimination. He was so rude and disrespectful and I highly doubt that this club denies anyone wearing a shirt larger than an XL. I was so disgusted I urge everyone to take your money elsewhere.

The place is rather large, with 3 areas to socialize in. They have a patio and a bar attached to it, so you can continue to drink and socialize, which is beneficial for friends who don't want to party indoors. The place did not get busy until midnight. I went on a Friday night when hip hop music and some reggae tone was playing. The dj was good. There are VIP booths available for customers, if you so choose to do so around $200. There is no dress code. I personally prefer a dress code when I go to certain places with VIP booths, so that was the main reason I gave this place 3 stars and also because they serve drinks with plastic cups instead of glass cups. Overall, the place was a good first time experience.

A stop on a St Pattys bar crawl. I had always been super curious about what this place has to offer and honestly still am. I don’t claim I had the full experience since we were there at 7pm on a Saturday. Anyway, 2 large rooms and an outside space. One room is a dance floor. There are two large bars and some seating scattered about. I liked the character of the place but would really like to come here later in the night to really get the energy. Anyway, it was a good bar crawl stop, service was quick, it was clean. You can’t exit where you entered and sorry ladies but they have one single bathroom

I went to the Red Room on Saturday 3/4/2023 approx. 11pm and the Manger was so rude. My cousin had a party there and I couldn’t attend due the manager saying we can get in because we cannot wear jogging suits. We were on the VIP list and the club staff did not tell the party that it was a dress code. Also, I checked the website and it didn’t inform that the club has a dress code. When brought to the manager attention, he got rude and stated I’m the owner and didn’t care what the website said. I will never go back to this club because management is very unprofessional. Customer service sucks very bad.

I’ve never had a worst experience out. I went here with my girlfriend. We had some guy (by himself) following us all night. After comforting the guy multiple times, we went to the staff. The security tried to tell us that my girlfriend was “sitting on 3 guys laps” when I haven’t left her side all night and seemed like they were friendly with the creepy guy. Be careful with security and creepy people here as it seems they may be plotting something against drunk girls. Horrible experience, horrible Security, creepy people. If your a girl please watch out when going here.

Highly Recommend getting the Red Room VIP for a birthday Party Celebration. Eric was was very helpful over the phone and email helping setup details for the event, he was truly honest with booking and working around another private party that was there. Taylor, our hostess and bartender definitely made the extra effort in making sure we were in good hands. The others co-workers were great as bouncers and went the extra mile keeping things tidy. Great staff and alcohol ratio from bartenders. Reasonable prices on all drinks. They take care of customers in every way possible the best that they can In busy and fast environment. Highly recommend if you want to be safe and not have to worry about certain situations inside the night club. Guarantee staff to have your safety in mind which is why they do what they do at the door. Great DJ music to vibe and dance to while enjoying a good time and having fun all at the same time. Has police on site for safety as well. Come on in and enjoy a good night out.

My husband and I have come to this bar for years. We’re older and we love the diverse crowd here every night. The crowd does tilt young but there’s all races & ages. They have a lovely rooftop area for fresh air and smokers. The drinks are always good. My favorite DJ plays music videos to his songs on the big screen. We love their room with swings and benches. The owner has always been polite and kind to us. We usually come by 10pm so never pay a cover.

This place is awful they attacked my friend, and wedding party because my friend brought out a fireball shot from our wedding party bus and he admitted he was in the wrong and the security literally attacked him and choked him till he passed out onto the floor the whole wedding party was trying to protect him he was on the floor out of breath because they attacked him like I have never seen before I can't believe this happened to our celebration ....

We had a decent time here. Ashlee very kindly fixed my friends drink for her and was a great bartender! After reading other reviews about racial discrimination and rude bouncers, I’m sure we won’t come back. It is loud in the main room and more relaxing on the roof top. My group all concluded that drinks were small and expensive. Staff was nice to us. Dancing was inappropriate a lot of the floor so if that’s something you don’t wanna see be warned.

I came from out of town a few times and went. It's a cool place. I like the look of it, 2 seperate bar areas. 1 is a lounge vibe, the other is the dance floor. They play a nice variety of music and the djs I've seen took requests. They also have an outside balcony and a cute swing inside. I gave stars because the drinks are more expensive than the bars where I live, while the crowd is much bigger. I'd go again.

Went for the first time last Wed for salsa and it was great! The people were friendly and warm. The bartender was awesome! The DJ sucked! Whoever he was spent more time dancing than playing music, his taste for salsa not the best, he's stuck in the 60s and 70s. And he wouldn't take requests. In the long run it may hurt the success of the place. I would overlook that due to the crowd and atmosphere.

This place is hit or miss, but on a bad day, they are extremely rude and seem to forget that they are there to serve paying customers. The bartender got me kicked out of the bar because I didnt pay her right away. I gave her my money when she came up to me in anger but I still got pulled out by the bouncers. If you like watching bartenders give drinks away to all the girls he finds attractive while you stand there with money in hand then this is the place for you. I had to send the girls I was with to the bar for my drinks I and they were some how free. Perhaps this is why I had never gone to this establishment, it is no doubt the reason why I will never go back. Cheers

Red Room is my go to any night off! I work in the industry and it’s always an absolute blast when I’m there. Shaun is such a caring, respectful and always down for anything bartender! I love going there to see him! Same as Eric! Also Latin night with karaoke on Wednesdays! What more can a girl ask for!!! ♥️

Here to add another 1 star to this place’s pile. Upon providing my ID at the door, the owner took my driver’s license and told me that he believed it to be false and made me call the police to come verify. I had to wait 30 minutes just to have my license returned and verified by the literal POLICE— and the owner still forbade me from entering.

I came here on part of a bar crawl over Halloweekend. This was definitely the best stop. They had a good space with a dance floor if you wanted to dance (which I always do), and an outdoor space for more relaxed conversation. There are multiple bars, so service is relatively quick. Overall, a cool location and good experience.

Bartender decided to leave himself a 20 dollar tip. I don't really understand why since my tab was 46 dollars and I tipped 20 percent. He changed my "56" into 66$. He was a good bartender don't get me wrong but where did he get the audacity to put OVER a 40 percent tip on my card? I would go back but only if I have cash.

Red room is a premier night club in our fair city and the staff are king standing industry professionals dedicated to throwing a safe party for all of its beloved patrons. Great cocktails. Top named DJ’s lighting the dance floor up every weekend. Highly recommended late night spot.

Great vibes! I don't go out much but if I do it's here, and by far my favorite place. Staff takes care of problems that try to disrupt the crowd and start drama. All the staff is friendly and music is great. They also just added a rooftop patio, it's amazing. It's very spacious and great for lounging and socializing.

Absolutely loved this place! We went here as our last stop for the Hard Cider fest last week and it was easily our favorite bar. Our bartender was so sweet, and the music and atmosphere was super fun. Will definitely be back!

Such a great atmosphere! If you’re looking for a fun spot to have a night out I love the Latin night/Karaoke on Wednesdays. I always feel safe and have a great time. Shaun is the best bartender in world so be sure to stop by and show him some love. If you’re lucky you might get to hear him sing ;)

Crowded place with a lot of top 40 music from a DJ. Hard to get drinks as it is usually packed. I did the VIP thing with bottle service and was treated very well. All the staff introduced themselves and even the owner said hi. I had a great time and will go back again soon.

They didn’t let us in because my boyfriend didn’t have a state id and they said they couldn’t read it when the date was clearly there and he had another form of identification and still didn’t let us in. Treated us with discrimination. Never going there again.

I like this spot for just being able to let loose with less judgement or crowds from bigger clubs or bars. The drinks were alright but the outdoor area is really nice when you get tired of staying inside. They also have swings which make a great photo spot.

Our friend was racially profiled here and choked unconscious. He suffered neck and vocal cord injuries. I believe he is trying to sue and hope he is successful. Place deserves to be shut down.

We had an amazing time! We celebrate my daughters 21st Birthday and did the VIP bottle service. We were treated like VIPs and got awesome service. My daughter can not stop talking about her night! Big mommy score! Definitely will visit again.

The rooftop is amazing at the Red Room. Very nice place to socialize, creative seating, attractive fire pit and the workers go out of their way to make you feel welcome. Best place to hang for an evening in Broadripple !!!!!!!!!!

Not always the most danceable music. One night, I ended up hearing the strangest stuff remixed into dance tracks. Most of the time, however, the Red Room is the best dance club in Broad Ripple. It is dependably a good time.

Vast spirit selection but limited on the brew side of things. They frequently have dance themed events like salsa. The outdoor second floor patio was a great location with a nice view of downtown Broad Ripple.

The club os not bad. The music was no good. We tried to get the DJ to do better, but it seemed like he was watching to see if people were having fun dancing, if they were, he changed the music.

My husband and I went Friday Jul 1. The DJ was amazing. The staff, friendly and pleasant. The DJ kept us on our feet the entire night! The atmosphere and tone of the club was souch fun.

Always have a good time, the security team does their job and makes me feel safe when I'm there and when I leave. Bartenders are quick to get you taken care of and super friendly!

They stopped letting people come in at 1:30am even though they don’t close until 3. I drive 40 minutes to get here to meet some people just to be turned away.
