I've gone here several times and they always do an excellent job. The coloring services are the best, lots of tones and attention to detail. However, my bill was more than expected and I wasn't sure why. They ran card without a bill for me to even look at to understand what the breakdown was. I have no idea if they added tips or not but I had given cash tips. Seemed high and I wondered and wanted to see bill and asked for a receipt at least so I could see what the charges were for. They said it would be emailed. I would have prefered to know while I was still there. No email of bill was received. I have no idea what the breakdown was. I see by response I was supposed to ask (which I did and still didn't receive an email). I prefer a more transparent practice but perhaps others are happier with a final total without knowing. To each their own.

I have found my forever salon! As soon as I walked in I was greeted by Mini who was so sweet! She was also the last friendly face I saw as I walked out. My hairdresser, Dita, was exceptionally knowledgeable and skilled. She studied my hair and asked many questions in order to let her best work shine through. It looks amazing and feels great! She also provided me with tips that would help keep my hair nourished. The establishment is beautiful and the products used were quality as there was no burning or smell of strong chemicals. I also had my young daughter with me and they were so sweet and accommodating to her. I’m so happy I’ve finally found a quality salon whose professionalism and kindness stands above and beyond. This was my first time at Secret Garden . I was asked to come in for a consultation prior to my haircut . Everyone was very kind . I was very clear about what I wanted and didn’t want when I met with Danielle . She was very patient with me . Step by step she shared what she would be doing in order to achieve the look I was looking for . From the moment she started cutting I could immediately see it coming together . How she navigated her scissors while cutting my hair made me extremely comfortable. My nerves were calm which allowed her to work freely . So if you ask me , will I be coming back to Secret Garden to see Danielle.??? The answer is , YES !!! She has just gained another loyal customer . I love my haircut !!!

Im so glad i found this place. We have been searching for an all around enjoyable place for our hair. I made an appointment for my daughters since they haven't had a really great haircut since covid and their last salon experience was awful. We went today and my faith was restored. The environment was great, warm and friendly. The staff was kind, patient, very knowledgable and did what the girls asked for with helpful advice along the way. The hair cuts were gorgeous and so well done. It was just an all around nice place and the girls felt like a million bucks when they left. They are happy, im happy and i didnt have to spend a million dollars for them to look like they did. They cant wait to go back!

We used The Secret Garden Salon & Spa To do my Daughter's makeup on her wedding day as well as all the bridesmaids. They were punctual, professional and very friendly. Isabella did a beautiful job on all of our makeup including myself, Mother of the Bride! Her Assistant Nora had a nice selection of eyelashes to choose from. once applied, they stayed put all day until they needed to be removed. I can't thank them enough for their expertise! I would also like to thank Feri for coordinating everything and for calming me down when I was a bit overwhelmed with the planning, Lol. I would highly recommend The Secret Garden for all your wedding day hair and makeup needs!

I came to this salon as it was recommended for best colorists on the Island. I have to say I regret doing so. I left with my hair completely brittle, a very funky 'balayage' that has multiple colors as a result. I am very unhappy with the services provided to me. Upon writing the establishment, not one employee got back to me. Very unprofessional as I spent over $400 in this salon. I am currently in another salon awaiting a hair cut and I can not even color correct today because my hair is way too damaged. I am very disappointed that I had to write this review publicly, as I attempted to resolve this problem through messaging the salon privately.

I am so grateful that I found this Salon. Yasmin & Vilma are masters of their craft. Together they transformed my hair. Yasmin is an expert colorist & she lightened my hair without bleach and made it look amazing and much healthier . She has exceptional talent as a master colorist. Vilma gave me the best haircut I ever had in my life. She is incredibly talented and listened to exactly what I wanted. My hair is a work in progress and Yasmin & Vilma are transforming my hair and I am thrilled with the results. I received numerous compliments on my hair. Also I am thankful for their exceptional haircare advice.

I went in for a spray tan. They called to say I could come in earlier than my appointment time. When I arrived earlier I was told I had to wait 15 minutes. Receptionist was somehow confused by my early arrival and ignored me. 15 minutes turned into 30 minutes. The spray tan was fine but the process is different every single time I go. I’ve gotten numerous spray tans here and it’s never the same person. One time it took 10 minutes another time it took 30 minutes. They need to figure out the spray tanning or simply say no when people ask for an appointment. I will not be back.

Been there every week since they opened ma be 17 years ago give or take a few…Had manicures & pedicures when they did them back in the day. Now I’m still happy there! Blonde Danielle cuts (when needed) & blows out my hair every week!!! Over the years I’ve tried other places if I was not able to get a last minute appointment… and to tell you the truth none were able to compare!!! Everyone who works there is great! From the receptionists to the colorists, haircuts & stylists, Employees are respectful, kind & professional!!! I give this business an A++!!!

Beautiful salon and amazing experience. Sabrina freshened my curls up with a beautiful cut. She spoke with me prior to get an understanding of my curly hair journey and she talked me through the steps of cutting my hair to make sure I was satisfied every step of the way. Idalis (I hope spelled her name right!) assisted Sabrina with my hair and she also took the time to explain maintaining my curly hair and how to up keep my hair. overall a wonderful experience. We love going to the Secret Garden Spa! Every experience, no matter who our stylist is, my daughter & I always enjoy our day getting our haircuts. We both had Isabella who was kind, genuine, and super efficient in managing her time with the both of us. The moment we step foot inside from check-in, getting our hair washed, and to check-out, ALL of the staff is warm and friendly. I definitely had to leave a review. I visited first time today for hair & makeup for my 30th birthday party tonight. I have to say it was by far one of the most pleasant experiences I have ever had. Yvonne I believe is the woman who did my hair, beach waves for the very first time & it was super gorg. Isabelle did my makeup & she didn’t come to play, my makeup came out flawless. The Secret Garden is amazing ! Jen was so kind and made me feel so comfortable during my spray tan. My skin looks amazing with this product that is used. I haven’t really EVER had success at salons , until I found Secret garden. Amanda was super great ; she was patient , kind , informative and she took the time to listen to what my hair goals were. Amanda did my hair exactly how I wanted it! I came in and asked for bangs and some layers for my hair. I've gotten a haircut and eyelash tint/lift here and I love it! I forgot my stylists name but she was fast and amazing. I wanted bangs for a long time and I finally got them and loved them :] Also got eyelash tint and lift here and I absolutely love it. Process was super easy. Sensation was weird but not uncomfortable. I was walked through every step before it happened. My eyes are prettier dare I say. I think I have a go to place now!!!

My first time at The Secret Garden Spa was Awesome!. Dita was great! My hair needed a complete redo of coloring and styling. I highly recommend her. I've had many curly cuts from other professionals and none match the perfection that is Rachel! She knows all curl patterns inside and out. This was my first visit to Secret Garden and I was not disappointed! The interior is absolutely gorgeous and clean. Amanda, my stylist, took me in early and did my wash and blowout. My massage was absolutely wonderful. She asked where I needed the massage and targeted the areas where I was tight and had the most soreness. Came here with my bridal party for wedding hairstyling and makeup. I would highly recommend them! The staff was super friendly and very attentive. We had a giant snow storm the day of the wedding and the staff was there all ready for us when we arrived. They made sure everyone got the look they wanted and did an amazing job.

I've been to the secret garden a few times over the years. I've always had a good experience. I've always Felt comfortable. There's also usually little wait time. At todays visit i had Vilma, who was great, friendly and listened to what I wanted. Shampoo person was really good too.

Rachel has been so professional and I really liked the way my hair was done! She takes her time and listens to what I have to say. The salon is clean and staff is always friendly. I love the products and the merchandise for sale in the front of the salon. The ATM is a plus too.
