PERFECT I’ve been eyeing this spa even before it opened. I saw their Facebook ad and immediately felt excited when I saw the concept. The ambiance of a spa is important to me because that itself, aside from the services you’ll receive, has a huge impact on your mood and level of relaxation. For this spa, they nailed both the ambiance and service quality — it truly felt like a luxury boutique spa. Melony helped me with all my inquiries and made sure that I got settled with ease. She checked on me a couple of times but not to the point where it felt intrusive - just right. I booked a massage but I did a last-minute request for a UA wax which thankfully they were able to squeeze in (please make sure to book though!). Paige did an awesome job and made sure that I was comfortable enough. Thank you! This was my first massage experience in Canada and it was so good! It’s the best massage I’ve ever received. I don’t think I was able to express my gratitude to Belle because I was so relaxed after the service. They didn’t rush me at all — they even encouraged me to take my time and enjoy all the amenities they offer. It was truly worth it. I was happy to share my experience and feedback with the owner - Joy - herself and Melony. I was satisfied and it was nice to tell them in person. I will come back!

A-M-A-Z-I-N-G! I have attended spas for many years and my hobby is trying out different spas when I travel. What can I say? I'm a spa connoisseur. Ladies, don't even think about it. Book an appointment with this place. It is a very relaxing and highly professional spa. From the moment you enter, you are greeted with a smiling face (I forget the lady's name, but she is very professional). Then you are whisked away to an oasis of soft music and tasty munchies while you await your massage or other service. You can take a refreshing shower or lounge in their sauna before or after your service and the services are truly excellent. Now I want to share what makes this spa really stand out to me: the customer service. There was a misunderstanding, and I booked a massage that I couldn't, in the end, have, due to a scheduling error. When I arrived at the spa not knowing this, I was offered a chance to use their facilities anyway, since I was there, and a complimentary massage by the esthetician on duty. The owner herself came to see me while I was lounging to apologize for the scheduling mix up. If that isn't excellent customer service, I don't know what is. Give this place a try. You won't regret it! Or don't try it, and leave this gem of a spa to me!!

Absolutely DELIGHTFUL experience!! I was pleasantly shocked by how lovely the space is! While the exterior is just fine, it certainly doesn't show how beautiful and "zen-like" the actual space is inside. The owner, Joy, was so pleasant and helpful, and my aesthetician, Paige, was very skilled. I had the "illuminating facial" and it was heavenly from start to finish! It's been a week and a half and my skin is still glowing - literally! Shiny and smooth! Paige chose specific products for my skin and her massage skills were fantastic! So I got the skin treatment I was hoping for, along with an incredibly relaxing experience! And to top it all off, their sauna with light therapy was magical! I spent some time in that lovely space, as well as the lounge, after my treatment! Big fluffy robes, quiet and sparkling clean environment, awesome staff - I will definitely be back!! (Thinking of their full-body scrub service for springtime!!). You should go!!

I recently booked a much-needed spa day for my sister-in-law! I'm typically cautious about recommending services before experiencing first-hand, but this spa won me over with its inspiring owner's relatable story and the fact that it's a fellow women-owned business. As a mental health therapist, I stress the importance of self-care, but it can be difficult in these challenging economic times. While the prices are higher end, it seems the spa delivers! The staff's exceptional assistance in selecting a budget-friendly treatment for my sister-in-law was much appreciated. She returned feeling rejuvenated and couldn't stop raving about it. Now, I can't wait to book my own treatment for my upcoming birthday next week. Based on my SILs experience, I'm excited to experience the Ambleside magic for myself! I had the most amazing experience at Ambleside and cannot wait to return. Stefan was my massage therapist and he is very passionate about what he does, and it shows. He listened to my concerns and gave me THE BEST massage I’ve ever had! The lady at the front desk was extremely friendly and sweet. She really encouraged me to take my time & enjoy the amenities that the spa has to offer. The spa itself is a beautiful space. The lounge is welcoming and relaxing, the treatment room is beautiful with a comfortable and high quality bed, the sauna is incredible, the change room and showers are immaculate and have everything you need to freshen up after your treatment. I have already rebooked my next treatment. Thank you to all of the staff for giving me such a wonderful & relaxing experience :)

If you are looking for a luxury spa experience in Edmonton, this is the place for you! The atmosphere is impeccable, you can tell how much thought has been put into every single aspect of your experience here. The owner and staff were extremely warm & welcoming too. I had the Illuminating Facial which was fully customized to my skins needs and I really appreciated this since I have sensitive skin. The mini massage while I had my face mask on was the cherry on top & really helped me unwind. The complimentary infrared sauna was the perfect way to end the whole experience. It’s so wonderful to have this spa in our neighbourhood and I will definitely be returning for more treatments!

Theeeee Spa at Ambleside is absolutely fabulous!!! I have been here for a few treatments now the service is absolutely amazing, stunning atmosphere and the staff are so warm! Nancy is an amazing masseuse, she is a magician with her hands, and is backed by a wealth of knowledge of how the body works and an arsenal of techniques to have you feeling absolutely relaxed and healed when you leave. I had a wax with Emie and she was quick, proficient, and professional. It was definitely faster and less painful than i had expected! Joy is an absolute Gem of an owner and really lives up to her name! Fantastic beautiful place with beautiful people all around. 12/10 recommend!

The spa at Ambleside is the place you want to book your relaxation spa days at! The atmosphere in the entire spa is carefully curated for maximum comfort and serenity. Unlike other spas, I did not feel rushed during any of my services . I booked a couples massage, facial and pedicure for my partner and I and we spent a lovely 4 hours at the spa in total. The lounge where you hangout and have snacks before and in-between services is something I’ve never seen before and the sauna is definitely a nice touch. I will absolutely be visiting again with my girlfriends or my mom for Mother’s Day . Thank you so much to everyone who made our experience so enjoyable !

It was worth the drive up from Calgary to spend the day here. Its hard to believe that the spa isn't part of a resort, its so beautifully done. Melanie made me feel welcome immediately and set me up comfortably in the well-appointed lounge. I had pretty cool body scrub and wrap experience with Paige, the body treatment room is out of this world. I was so relaxed after the sauna and great massage with Nancy that I nearly fell asleep during my 'signature' facial, which I felt was very well customized for me. All of my treatments were unique, I've never had a day spa experince like it elsewhere. It was a wonderful experience.

I booked the All About Me Package and the spa and the service was nothing short of absolute luxury!! The design of the spa itself was stunning with dark wood tones and beautiful tile throughout the change rooms and treatment rooms. The staff were so attentive and caring, the front desk staff brought me a hot neck towel every time I came out of the treatment room. I felt so taken care of!! The entire experience was so personalized and I left feeling so relaxed! I will most definitely be booking again and sharing this special spa experience with all my friends and family! Hands down the most luxurious spa in Edmonton!

I had my first ever therapeutic massage session this evening (previously attended student-run clinic) and the experience went beyond my expectations. When I walked into this spa I felt transported to a different place altogether. The vibes were immaculate and Melony was such a friendly and welcoming person at the front desk. Haley was such a calming force and I felt myself melting into the massage bed/table under her skillful hands. I cannot wait to come back and try out more of the many services available! It’s never too late to start your self care journey.

Today was my first time visiting this spa and it definitely won’t be my last. I got their signature massage with a scalp massage which was very relaxing and soothing! The atmosphere was so calming and the small details put into their amenities, decor, services really made this place stand apart. All the staff were also so kind and helpful. The prices are higher than average but it was honestly worth every penny! Highly recommend.

Amazing massage, Stephan was incredible and worked out some really tense muscles. The pedicure was the best I’ve ever had. Emie is so knowledgeable and really has your health as a priority. I highly recommend!!! They take the gel polish off without the dremmel. Emie is a specialist in nail health issues. Go to her if you’re having trouble with an ingrown nail or callouses. The facial was nice, especially the day after.

An Edmonton gem! I am so happy that Edmonton now has a true spa with a lounge experience where I can spend a few hours to unwind. My entire experience was fantastic. There is attention to detail from the moment you walk in. I was welcomed with a warm greeting, had a great massage and enjoyed the sauna and lounge after as well. Booked a massage here today for my partner. We were greeted kindly upon entry, both given slippers then escorted to the relaxing lounge area. I waited in the lounge while enjoying a refreshment, nice comfy area to relax in while awaiting my partners massage. Was told the massage was amazing! Looking forward to a couples massage here in the future. It really is a SPA!

Went here just to get a gift card, but when socializing with the front desk they offered to let me come in and get something done quickly with no appt that I had wanted to get done. They don't normally do this without appt's, but I think it speaks to their customer service and hospitality and I would definitely recommend this place. Very comfortable inside. Thanks!

I went in for a massage and it was the very best massage I've ever had. The atmosphere is calm, refreshing and blissful. The staff was very welcoming and friendly. My sister and I went back the next day for the soothing pedicure and it was another amazing experience. I love love love The Spa at Ambleside. Perfect for a spa day on your own or with company.

This place is definitely luxurious! It was my first time here and I got the relaxation and scalp massage. I plan to return soon for other services. However, I don’t think I’ll get the scalp massage again. I felt like there was less massage and more focus on oil application. It just wasn’t for me. Other than that overall experience was amazing!

My sister and I had pedicures for my birthday a week ago and it was amazing! I had a sore toe prior to my appointment and the esthetician was so mindful and careful, amazing attention to detail! The spa itself is so warm and sexy, can’t wait to get a facial soon and my hubby can’t wait for a massage and to use the sauna. We will be back!

Loved my experience here. I booked a last minute appointment for a body scrub +scalp treatment add on. Nancy was incredible! She really has an appreciation for the human body and how to treat it. I left feeling super relaxed and my skin was extremely soft. I’ll definitely be coming back to Nancy for more treatments.
