  • "It's a lovely clean Pharmacy"

"Been going here 3 years, and generally it was a pretty basic service each time which is all i'd ask for really"

"The owner left my grandmother short on her prescription, She paid for an emergency prescription for 5 days, then 5 days later she recieved her normal prescription which was then 5 days short, This made no sense at all, Why would you leave her short of 5 days when the emergency prescription was a whole 5 days before her scheduled prescription, this is cost cutting on a different level"

"Staff are always very friendly and helpful and pharmacists on hand to advise when needed"

"All the staff in the Strand Pharmacy are extremely friendly and helpful, and are on first name terms with their customers"

It's a lovely clean Pharmacy. And the staff there are so, sweet and kind. To all there customers. And they seem to have everything your Looking for. I say this, because the store is a Massive one. Everywhere you look. They seem to have everything a Chemist would have. Me and my Mother have now. Got our General Practitioner. To move our Medication, if needed to The Strand Pharmacy. Now that the one in Summerhill have closed down. Due to the Management taking early retirement. But this one on the strand. Seems to be the bigger and better pharmacy in the Area. And my Mother gets her pension there. Next door. So if at the same time. If she needs something from them. Well then. I only have to go next door. Really handy. Back years ago It was the old strand house cinema. But the building now holds, an-post. Costcutters shop. And this great big pharmacy /so glad we're in there now. When we need something from our Doctor. Where there now for cellection. I would Advise anyone to take it on. Grand tidy, and clean. And smells great when you Enter there store. And as I said. The staff are great at seeing to you. A. S. A. P. Your welcome @ The Strand Pharmacy. Local... Mr S. Corbally. Thank you. And to the lovely staff.

Been going here 3 years, and generally it was a pretty basic service each time which is all i'd ask for really. However this morning I rang in regards to a repeat prescription, and mid-way through the conversation the staff member hung up on me when I tried to ask if my prescription was still available. I tried calling back and no answer. Her English was extremely poor for someone who is tasked with dealing with the public, answering phone calls etc. So then I went to the pharmacy physically to find out something I could have found out over the phone. My prescription was not a repeat prescription. If I knew that beforehand over the phone I could have called my GP and rectified it. Considering there are other pharmacies near by, with staff whom are more adequate, particularly in terms of communication, I'll definitely not be heading back to this one. Their price's aren't even marginally competitive either in comparison to the others.

The owner left my grandmother short on her prescription, She paid for an emergency prescription for 5 days, then 5 days later she recieved her normal prescription which was then 5 days short, This made no sense at all, Why would you leave her short of 5 days when the emergency prescription was a whole 5 days before her scheduled prescription, this is cost cutting on a different level. I've Moved her to a different pharmacy for her future prescriptions and she wont be coming back.

Staff are always very friendly and helpful and pharmacists on hand to advise when needed. They have a wide range of vitamins in stock and always willing to order items that I’m looking for, eg specific probiotics, flight socks etc. always a pleasant experience.
