I took my 4 year old child for a haircut, initial introduction was pleasant and I withdrew cash as they only except cash only. Once I went in I explained to the young lady (early 20s) that I wanted a pixie bob for my child to which she said was fine. As the haircut started she made my child stand throughout the 35min+ session and her attitude became very rude and unprofessional as my child got tired of standing and moved occasionally. What do you expect from a child ???! I became very uncomfortable and unhappy that my child was made to stand throughout the process as they DO NOT ACCOMMODATE A CHILD CUT WITH THE NECESSARY EQUIPMENT yet the ATTITUDE WAS DISPICABLE and they said they offer child cuts hence why I proceded. THEN THE YOUNG LADY huffs and puffs and says the hairstyle I've chosen for my daughter is difficult to do because my child was moving...... I DONT THINK SO. YOU HAVE TO APPLY COMMON KNOWLEDGE HERE... No child will stand still for more than 5minutes let alone 35 minutes.!!! I had my child occupied with a lollipop and a tablet and she was an angel considering!! She was ALSO talking to another colleague of another language which clearly was obvious she was making remarks visibly demonstrated through her body language and facial expressions. SHE WAS VERY UNPROFESSIONAL AND AWFUL. I still paid for the service but I could have spent £15 better elsewhere and without my child having to go through this terrible service. First and Last time I will be going there and would NOT RECOMMEND THIS PLACE TO ANY PARENT!!!. I Went to another hair salon down the road and their service was 10/10 .

Absolutely terrible experience. I came in at 4:45 knowing the salon would be closing soon and may not have enough time. But the salon was completely empty and they said they could fit me in. From the start the haircut was unpleasant, the hairdresser that washed my hair was aggressive and careless while washing my hair. She just seemed to rub my scalp and spill water on my face. After sitting in the chair I explained I wanted a small trip with max 1 inch off the ends. I now have about 3 inches cut off the length despite me stopping her twice to tell her I think she’s cutting too much. She also began cutting my hair at the back before even showing me how much she was cutting. Showing a fundamental lack of progress and care for the customer. I asked for long layers, she began aggressively taking clumps of my hair and cutting large amounts of length from my hair. When I tried to stop her again to tell her it was too much she said she would never give me short layers because they don’t look good. And choppy long layers are in fashion now. I did not ask for choppy layers. She continued to repeatedly disregard my comments and questioned me when I told her I wanted her to change parts. Overall she was very rude and the service felt very rushed and careless. And to make it all worse once finished she charged me an extra £10 on top of the agreed £25 for a wash and cut. Would not recommend this to anyone, I’m not sure if it was so bad because it was towards the end of the day but regardless I don’t think anything justifies this kind of dismal service.

Had high Hope's but was disappointed. Was greeted by warm welcoming staff. waited 2 hours before I was seen but that's a risk with walk in only. Was there a total of 5 hours and did not get offered a drink of any kind. I had full hair dye and highlights....well what was ment to be blonde is grey and was extremely annoyed that when I got home and properly looked at it. I still had hair dye that hadn't been wasnt of my scalp correctly and my face is stained with brown hair dye around the edge of my hair theres a section that's about an inch wide from the hair line. The worktop bits had old cut hair on it and a dirty floor around the waiting area. I do however love the hair cut that has been done except for the fringe that is same length as the rest.

Yesterday I visited this salon for the first time and was really pleased with my whole experience. I was greeted warmly by the staff and only waited a short while to be seen. The lady, Jade, who did my hair was really lovely and took a genuine interest into why I was suffering from such bad hair breakage, and gave me tips to prevent it in the future. She was gentle when washing my hair and then gave me a really nice cut that I'm very happy with and has helped make my hair look a lot healthier. She used lots of good product on my hair and rough dried it which only came to £15 total which I thought was excellent value for money. Thank you, I will definitely be returning!

Had a complete change of colour and a decent haircut. The lady who did my hair went through the whole process with me as I was unsure about how to go colourwise. She certainly knows her stuff as my awful old colour has completely gone and I have a beautiful, natural colour. The cut suits my wiry, hard to style hair so I'm happy. Above all I had a fabulous pedicure while waiting for my colour to take. That's a win win for me as it saved so much time. The price for full highlights, colour, cut and blowdry was an amazing £110. Three hours in the salon and I've left knowing it'll be my hairdressers from now on.

I'd been there last week for a hair colour and that will be my Last Visit. I was offered a wide range of colours from the catalogue. When it came to actual application, I was told that my selected colour wasn't available ; left with no choice I had to settle for an alternative. The real shock came when I was handed the bill . Their rate card claims "prices from £25", but I was charged a hefty £50 for a medium length hair. Their explanations provided were highly unprofessional and unreasonable. They scam customers in the guise of low Prices.

Just been there today and had a stylish short haircut after my horrible lockdown style lol! They absolutely know what they do, very friendly and amazing service just in a walking distance! I was desperate and fed up to cut each others hair with hubby. As I enjoy very short hair, it's not easy to find a hairdressers with talent that convenient. But this is absolute a gem on Orpington high street. I don't need to google search, ask friends, take looong journeys etc. Strongly recommended.

First time taking the kids here and the last. The guy cutting my sons hair was so aggressive just pushing his head without talking to him. It was difficult for me watching so had to stop him as my son was crying. The lady who cut my daughters her was fine, talking to her and making her feel comfortable. They changed us £20, my son is 4 so he should have been £5 they adjusted the final price to £15, but really they shouldn't have charged us for my sons cut. Will not be going back.

Had my hair washed and cut by Adnan today...I requested for him to do it as he did it for me once before ...he's brilliant at washing hair...he's thorough and doesn't rush it... in fact I could've had it done another 3 times it was that relaxing!... he's very professional and passionate and shows alot of care when cutting hair...it makes me feel very satisfied...And he's achieved exactly what I asked for...A fantastic cut. I love it. I will definitely choose him again. Thank you

I was reading the reviews of others but apart from those, I had a very bad experience with my hair cut there last week. I asked for a normal haircut which she did extremely bad. I have noticed when I reached home that the hair lengths were not even. The hair lengths was like in a zig zag pattern even in both sides and I had to cut it by myself to make it even.Very disappointed that I had to pay 45 pounds for such a bad haircut which I never had before.

My negative comment would be the price which is being advertised. Very misleading and would advise to discuss before you sit in the chair. For a short hair a package for highlights, wash, cut and blow dry would be from £70. And this would only refer to a shoulder length hair , mine half of it. Ended up paying £140. That was a bit of a shock specially we only cut few mm from my hair. The hairdresser did do a great job and was very friendly as well.

Quite possibly one of the worst haircuts I’ve had. It looks like my fringe was cut by putting a bowl on my head, and it’s wonky. Despite the website and advertising board outside the salon advertising all service for £9.99 I was charged £25 for the bad haircut. Service was ok. I was the only person in there but it still seemed like I was putting them out by being there. The salon is clean and tidy.

This review is for the nail bar not the hairdressers. Been here waiting for an hour & half, I understand it’s very busy day but when your friend comes in & sits down straight away & get a pedi while I’m still waiting an hour & half in, I’m not very happy! Please don’t tell me she had an appointment as it’s so obvious she didn’t! Will never use this place again.

Absolutely brilliant Salon. All of the hair stylests are very talented and Lesley is a wizard at doing colour, can literally do anything and do it properly! They are also very kind and friendly. The nail bar and beautician, not owned by The Stylers but In the same salon space, are also great. Prices are super reasonable especially for hair. Highly recommend!

My Nan has used this shop for years since it was Marble Hair. Her hair cut was always £9.99 (as advertised) until recently when they charged her £15 for the same cut and then when she asked why the 50% increase there excuse was because they styled it. I think it is disgusting that your business is ripping off the elderly....NOT HAPPY!!!

Used The Stylers for the first time and will definitely be using from now on for my hair. Lesley was so incredibly quick and skilled at cutting and restyling my hair. She was able to offer advice on what would suit me and gave me a cut that was so skillfully performed, it was fascinating to watch.

HORRIBLE - it was absolutely horrible. My hair looked 10x worser than it did before i went in. I will have to go to another place to get it fixed now. They clearly cannot cut hair properly - i wonder if they even had the correct training. I would not recommend and am never going there again.

I took my sister here a week or so ago as she was nervous about having her hair styled. She came out beaming after what she called a wonderful experience with friendly and understanding staff. It is a great place, so warm and comfortable. And great hair of course!

So quick, but didn't miss a bit. Much cheaper than anywhere else I've ever been. No booking ahead, just walk in and wait. Great for a trim, but would be worried about a style. Overall will do for us and save a lot of money.

Great salon, so professional haircuts and stylers, visited it today with my daughter and we get a brilliant result. Repair and haircut is perfect . I can recommend this place to everyone …
