This place is very close to a 5 star for me, maybe 4.5. it's very different, with a strong jazz theme which I liked, lots of seating and a great menu. Staff were pretty good and I enjoyed the table service as apposed to ordering at the counter. I ordered the island big breakfast I think it was called, which was very unconventional. Every individual ingredient tasted amazing which was great, however it is served deconstructed which I didn't hate, But it's a bit awkward trying to scoop poached eggs onto everything else without it going everywhere, I would've like having all the ingredients on top the toast. I also think this should come with 4 pieces of toast, not 3. ( 2 for the eggs, 2 for the spreads). The spreads were a nice touch, it didn't really fit with the breakfast but i liked having the jam on toast at the end which ensured I didn't go hungry, once again, I only had one toast spare for 3 jams. Also would've liked to see the jams in little dishes to avoid the plastic! The coffee was really good too, however I ordered a latte and the two options were a cup or mug. A latte is served in a glass! I'm sure the staff would've been happy to serve this in a glass if I asked, however this should be the standard. All in all the food was great, staff was great, but just a few small things would turn this place into a 5 star cafe!

What an experience after all these years followed from City.Yes I am sure the owner would not be proud of this cafe today .There was the difference of being efficient and looking busy the later came into play. It took 5min waiting at table so I thought maybe rule change so went to order at counter .No sit down we do table service. After 10.min called staff over to ask for some coffee, as we had been given menu from same female staff member we were told I dont look after your table someone will come soon She continued to try to look busy after another 5min and our break ticking away I went to counter and asked to order He took my order and cash and asked anything else.Our lunch break was nearly over so.no time for lunch.10 more min we asked where coffee was and within 2 min was in front of us.If we hadn't paid def would have left.There is more than the retired that want coffee and need that 30min turn around.Sorry but thumbs down and will not return.

Truly terrible experience this morning on Saturday 11/09/21. Coffee was weak and the egg and bacon sandwich we got was terrible. Grey marks all over the eggs, and burnt dry toast. I had to get gluten free and dairy free due to dietary requirements and there was nothing on the toast to replace the butter so it was completly dry and inedible. we ate one bit of bacon off the whole thing & left the rest. Very disappointed. I spoke to the waitress about the eggs and was told "the chef said it's just from the grill, there's nothing actually wrong with it." Then walked away. No offer to remake it, and no one asked how things were when we paid & left. I won't be getting food from here again.

First meal at Timeless Way. 3 of us dined in and we all left feeling full and extremely satisfied with both the meal and the staff. The eggs Benedict were divine! The staff were quick and courteous, our overall experience was fantastic! I would highly recommend Timeless way as somewhere to relax and have a great meal! We look forward to our next experience

Unfortunately not all that impressed.....pate served with 2 slices of untoasted bread just - pate but cheeky "Woolworths' just popped out on plate....crackers had seeds - so no thought for people that can not eat seeds with health issues. Oven baked wedges $4 bowl contained approx 7 unappealing wedges .....don't enjoy giving bad feet back but in this case the food served was poor quality indeed!!

Always enjoy a meal here. Great atmosphere. Staff are helpful and courteous. Gluten free available.

Place has great vibes. Coffee was good. They do jazz concerts on the first Friday of every month. Hollandaise for the eggs Benny was a bit tart. The homemade hashbrown was good. Wasn't the best I've ever had but it was ok

Portions were small for the price. Notably, the bacon was sparse. Not the sort of thing you want short-changed on when it's the main attraction. Staff seemed distracted. More worryingly, they had no idea what HP Sauce was. I can forgive them that, but on the matter of begrudged bacon - not so much.

Stunning place, every detail is performed with class and elegancy. Breakfast is available all the time. There are musical instruments suspended on cables from hanging from the ceiling. The owner is very friendly guy - he served me several times and we had a few good chats! A+ and coming back soon for more breakfast.

Quality has dropped but the price is still the same. We used to go here every couple of weeks but Now the food is not up to the standard it was. We have it a second chance.. but not much improvment. Not to say it's bad it's just not worth the price anymore. Premium price needs premium food... Service is always good

Accidentally ended up at this place. Ordered a flat white. The coffee was too milky. I probably wouldn't go back or recommend it for coffee. It looked like a nice cafe though.

I lunched at The Timeless Way yesterday with a friend and the meal was lovely. We both had Tramezzi served with a very healthy , appetising salad. The service was fast and friendly. The price seemed very reasonable. Altogether a very pleasant lunch. I would heartily recommend it.

The meals are fresh & tasty, I had the toasted chicken n mayo toasted sandwichwith saladplus a cappuccino, serviceis fast & it’s reasonablypriced, the cakes & biscuits are delicious.

Brilliant food at great prices, quite possibly the best cafe experience I've ever had! Everthing on the menu was well described and judging by myself and my wife's choice is exactly how it is described and having Horlicks as a hot drink choice on a cold day, pure genius!

Love this place and go often. Changed hands and the new owners have maintained the excellent menu and atmosphere. We love it, especially the turkey, brie and cranberry toastie and the tramway breakfast. PS good coffee.

Friendly staff, prompt service, staff were good with the kids and really happy to accommodate requests. The cafe is really clean and tidy. Bright and Airy. Menu looks pretty straightforward but good value.
