"Amazing customer service here, I feel a lot of retail could brush up on their customer service & Village Pharmacy most definitely have exceptional customer service, visited on a late Sunday afternoon seeking a special gift for a birthday & Chris on CHANEL was just amazing very warm, welcoming & understood my need"
I came in to pick up an iron supplement for my son. A lady approached me and asked if I needed help. I said yes, the supplement I was looking for that was recommended by my son's specialist was out of stock and did she know when it would be back? She then proceeded to question me if he needed a multi vitamin (?) and how did I know he needed iron. As already explained, his specialist said he needed it and gave me a specific brand to purchase. She questioned me further at which point I told her he had blood tests and we know he needs it. Not sure why she felt she was entitled to this information or why I should have to justify my SPECIALISTS advice. She then proceeds to tell me as they are renovating a lot of stock is out the back and dusty so hasn't been put on the shelves, and I could try back in a week. Helpful. No I won't be back in a week, I won't be back at all. I've never had such appalling service from a shop assistant in a pharmacy.
Disappointing customer service. The staff here are hit and miss, some nice and some very unfriendly. I was coming here anyway because it is convenient. No more. Here’s just one recent example. I asked a staff member when was the best time to come on Sunday to get my 5 y.o. son his flu shot. They suggested arriving right at 11am (when they first open) to avoid a long wait. So I dutifully turn up at 11am on Sunday, my son in tow. All the staff are shocked/irritated to see me, tell me they’ve only just opened the store, and there’s no way they can do a flu shot until at least 12pm. Needless to say, we didn’t bother to wait around. This is just one simple example but it’s irritating and inconvenient. Wherever possible, I now avoid visiting this pharmacy.
I’ve been coming here for a while and used to love the brilliant service provided by staff who have been there for ages, Neve, Jennifer and Rania to name a few. These people put their heart and soul into the pharmacy and the service they provide to their customers. Recently I am very very disappointed with the new staff members that have come on. The staff on seem stretched thin and do not have the freedom to do their best work. The stock this pharmacy have on hand is embarrassing, I cannot get my scripts filled which are some of the most common medications. This place is going downhill fast and it seems like management have no idea what is going on or how to resolve the issues.
They sold me expired medication, I purchased my medication on the 14/11/2022 and the medication was expired on the 22/11/2022 when I questioning the pharmacist he told me you technically you purchased the product before expired. I was shocked by his response they even didn’t admit they have a made a terrible mistake almost cost me my life Very disappointed obviously the staff at burnside village pharmacy they don’t care about human life is worth nothing Such a horrific mistake almost caused me my life People need to check the expired dates on the medication before leaving the premises
Amazing customer service here, I feel a lot of retail could brush up on their customer service & Village Pharmacy most definitely have exceptional customer service, visited on a late Sunday afternoon seeking a special gift for a birthday & Chris on CHANEL was just amazing very warm, welcoming & understood my need., I chose a fragrance & it was beautifully wrapped I was over the moon, had just finished work myself & made it to the Village on time it certainly made my visit worth while. I will definitely be back to regularly shop here, well done team they certainly do care
I usually enjoy doing my usual Friday shopping here in Burnside Village in general but not today. This staff at the pharmacy counter just need to listen to customer more and not just be in super hurry to serve. It was not even busy then. I had a simple instruction but I feel she did not understand because she was putting words into my mouth instead. Been here 22 years, I been speaking in English since I was in pre school. Did not even say any apology when I re explained what I was trying to say. Annoying!
I had an exceptional experience at the Clinique counter on Friday afternoon May 19. I was after some foundation for an event and was provided wonderful and kind service by a lady whom I have been assisted by several times previously. She has always been extremely professional and has provided me superior guidance on skin care and makeup products that I have used for a number of years now. In particular, thank you for making my day that bit easier !!
I came here in just asked about a clinique product I recently bought regarding dark circle eye corrector, I simply asked on average how long it takes to see results. The lady who served me abruptly said you can’t expect to stay up late and see results. Excuse me, that was so insulting and assumed immediately what kind of person I was. I was very upset and hurt and abruptly made my exit. I asked a simple question and made me feel stupid.
Visited the Chanel counter today to purchase a lipstick. The Chanel representative Stephanie was friendly, professional and very knowledgeable. She remembered me from an earlier call I had made and went out of her way to help me find a suitable colour. I was very impressed with the lovely Chanel displays. My item was wrapped so beautifully and as it was a birthday present for myself it was pretty special. An excellent experience.
Never had a positive experience here when using the parcel point drop-off service. The lady appeared resentful every time. Finally I see that they are no longer a parcel point drop off location so I guess they realised they don't want to do it. We now find it much easier to do Amazon returns at the Australia Post store where the staff are very friendly and welcoming.
There is never any stock at the Chanel counter. The ladies are so lovely and always embarrassed that I can’t buy what I want. It is an ongoing issue. I saw a friend there today who had the same problem! It’s not good enough. It’s been the same ever since the business changed hands. Shall we skip the pharmacy and go straight to DJs?
Great range of all items, especially cosmetics ie estee lauder, channel and so on. Lots of great ideas for gifts but is overpriced. HOWEVER, i loath going there as staff regularly follow customers around and spy on you/them from behind shelving and stands which is insulting and uncomfortable.
A pleasure to shop at this pharmacy. Needed some medical advice, with out any delay my questions were answered by the pharmacist, who was very professional. My wife required some cosmetics and was also assisted. We found the staff most helpful and friendly, yet professional, will return.
Came with an e-script for my medication but they don't have my medicine in stock. Did not cancel my e-script which means that I cannot get my medication elsewhere. I get this medicine all the time and never had a problem with any pharmacy. I would never return for prescribed medicines.
Just wondering what is happening to the cosmetic & skin care counters ? It looks like Clarins has all but disappeared with only a few things out on sale. Are they all going to disappear in the near future ?
Took ages to find someone to serve me. Asked two staff members, who were"too busy"erecting a display to help me. 2 other people just walked out. Finally lady from the Chanel counter helped me.
Fantastic beauty services performed by Roupal every time! I absolutely loved my massage. Highly recommend. Also the staff are all super friendly and helpful at The Village Pharmacy.
I can't praise the pharmacist and staff at Burnside Pharmacy enough for their excellent service. By far the most pleasant, understanding and caring team. Thank you :)
Great service and knowledgeable staff. Good range of products and free undercover parking.
Staff are average and prices are very high considering the price they pay for it
Huge store with a large variety of cosmetics and vitamins. Helpful staff.
Ridiculously expensive. Charged me more than double the other places
Very friendly and helpful staff
Reasonable range.
Great service
