I recently visited The Y Cafe and am happy to say that I did enjoy myself. The food was perfectly adequate (more later) and the service was perfect. The staff were all very friendly and happy, greeting me as soon as I entered and served me very quickly. The one thing I wish was slightly better was a bit more character. It's a perfectly good cafe with perfectly good food. I just think it could do with a bit more character. The food could do with... almkst a bit of pampering. The poached eggs looked a bit fake, which was slightly off-putting, but we're still cooked perfectly and still tasted great. Overall, it was a great morning and I'll be sure to return in the coming future.

I dined at 7:15am on a Thursday. There was only one other person there, so I was seated immediately. The staff were polite and efficient. Inside was clean and relaxed, with newspapers on hand and an interesting little book nook. The menu was braid and appealing, with breakfasts, brunches and lunches on offer. The coffee was first rate. I went with my usual - the big breakfast. It included a stack, which was welcome. The meal took a little bit of time and the person apologised for the wait. The food was good, with it being well prepared. This place was quite and unhurried - a nice place to go slow.

My partner got the brekkie wrap and a cappuccino. I got the club sandwich and a mango and banana frappe. The food was so good, we both forgot to take photos before eating. We had never been to the area before and were searching for lunch. The people working there were so lovely and welcoming. Everything tasted fresh and was so delicious, the club sandwich was massive for the price, and all the layers were amazing. The brekkie wrap was crisp and warm. Definitely recommend coming here and we will be back next time we are in the area

Joe is the best! He is always so friendly and chatty, he's literally our most favouritest barista in Australia. He has a wonderful team working alongside him, they always remember our coffee orders and the drinks just come out beautifully every time. When it's not too busy, we love coming here to read, write, and/or play cards while we sip on our hot cuppas. The atmosphere is just so lovely and truly relaxing ❤️

Amazing spot, delicious food and coffee. I randomly discovered this place and I couldn't be happier! If you are in the area, do yourself a favor and stop by. Staff are also really friendly and the whole cafe has a pretty relax vibe to it. Wish I lived here so that I could come back. Keep up the good work guys, wish you all the best!

My favourite place for coffee. Everyone is friendly and they even give you a small bite sized brownie with their delicious coffee. The drive through option is also a fave of mine.

Best chai latte I've ever had! The best service from a cafe in all of Brisbane! I come here every Sunday to either get my chai latte or an English breakfast tea and they serve it straight away. Good service, very prompt and professional, very clean and stylish. Only downside would be the quality of coffee even though it was perfect on temperature it tasted very acidic which means it extracted to quickly. Over all a very nice place to have some down time before work.

Had a really lovely late breakfast here this morning! We had two bacon and egg burgers, a vanilla custard donut and a drink, all for only $25. Overall, really great prices, great ambiance, delicious food, really friendly staff. Highly recommend!⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️

Love this cafe! Been here a handful of times before shopping and the young man behind the counter remembers my order and really makes me feel welcomed! And to top it off the coffee is amazing! I will have to come and try the breakfast here soon.

Excellent coffee and breakfast dishes with THE best (imho) Eggs Benedict with Smoked Salmon I've tried. Joe and his team are some of the friendliest people you'll meet. Been coming here since they opened and will continue to do so. :-)

Popped in for lunch on our way to airport. Wife had the halloumi burger and I had the smoked salmon bagel. Fantastic service, delicious food, friendly staff, good coffee and easy parking. Would happily return and recommend to anyone.
