My best friend and I work crazy hours and have kids so we meet twice a year for lunch when I take my measly vacations from work. I always make her pick our restaurant and this winter break she chose Yellow Deli. Neither of us had been before, and we were not disappointed. Our sandwiches were fresh, warm and delicious. My coffee was divine, the young girl who served us was sweet and polite and the atmosphere was comfortable, quaint and inviting, like a warm cozy cottage. We both had to take half our lunches home because they were so filling! I will highly recommend the Yellow Deli and hope to come back soon for more!

Step in here and you'll feel the unique and cozy vibes this place has to offer. It's close to Princess St., but with the decor you don't get distracted by the cars going by and can enjoy the relaxing vibe of the place. Really friendly staff who will engage in conversation and seem to be genuinely interested in their clientele. Food was great. I had the turkey sandwich on rye, which is made in-house, and my wife had the veggie burger which wasn't dry and quite flavourful. They take some simple sandwich concepts and spruce them up with a sauce or aioli. We also ordered a coffee which was made to order and delicious. Didn't have a chance to try the desserts, but they sound delicious.

Today I met a friend from out of town at the Yellow Deli for lunch. First time for both of us. Wow we were impressed. I had the cranberry cashew salad, carrot ginger soup, spelt raisin break, date square and the yerba mango mate. Everything was delicious, healthy, fresh. I'm gluten intolerant so was thrilled I had so many choices. The staff were super friendly, professional and went out of their way to make sure we were happy. After lunch we visited their market next door and fell in love with gift cards, shampoo, lotions, tea etc. There is space to meet clients over tea. Two thumbs up for the Yellow Deli.

Wow what a great dinner. The kids had blueberry waffles and strawberry banana waffles . Honestly the best ones I’ve ever tasted. Light and not cake like as you would have at other places. Even the kids said they are the best ones they have ever tasted. The Deli Rose sandwich hands down the best tasting sandwich I’ve ever had. The flavor and tenderness of the meat and cheese and the bread oh my goodness so wonderful. I also had the beef chili with the Jalapeño cheese corn muffin and again 10/10. Just come and try it and you won’t be disappointed. Price is great and the service and atmosphere are superb.

The place was quaint, peaceful, relaxing and made tou feel like you were at home. Prices were decent. Not one to write reviews but this place deserves to be exposed. Exposed for their incredibly charming staff, inexpensive but amazing eats, and don’t even get me started on how authentically real the decor feels. I am from Toronto, where great food is my daily ritual. So I hope my review holds some weight. With such amazing energy you guys give off, certainly resonates with your customers, which is why everyone comes back. I’ll be recommending this place to everyone I know coming to Kingston. I am from toronto and was visiting my friends in Kingston I am so happy my friend took me to this deli it honestly has the best sandwiches I've ever had, everything is fresh and delicious I went back 2 days in a row to try new sandwiches each time, I'm blown away I also got the hot chai and that has become my favourite drink! Great time here, got a mango smoothie and mmm...it was so good. I also had a custom sandwich which came with house-made chips and a pickle. I ate a lot! Sure do recommend this place, one of a kind. Plus, if you enjoy their products, then there is a bakery they run nearby that you can go to.

Wonderful place to eat, soup was excellent , we shared a sandwich that was super. The portions are very generous, and the taste was great. The serving is friendly, with an extra flair, extra napkins, a doily with a small napkin to put your coffee spoon on, extra plate to share our sandwich. The atmosphere is comfortable with soft music, and a rustic decor, with big clean bathrooms. Overall a wonderful experience for us new comers to Kingston. Thank you so much, for a lovely meal.

Been meaning to walk into the yellow deli for a while as I pass it on my commute every day. Glad I did. I love a good Reuben sandwich and the decor is cozy and nice. My toddler loved the big wood yellow tables.

This place was such an amazing find. Great decor, great people and the food is…. On a different level. Next time I am in Kingston I will have to come back here. Very good experience. We went at the restaurant for Thanksgiving and had the chance to eat a spécial menu for the occasion. The food was delicious and it's hand made. It costs us 60$ for 2 people for a menu with entrance,main course, dessert and a cofee. Plus there was a live music band! I highly recommend this place (very nice decoration and nice staff).

Hands down the heartiest meal in the city of Kingston! The aroma of freshly cooked food, light soothing music and wooden decor transport you to another world as soon as you step in. The staff is very accommodating, tons of vegan and vegetarian options. I wish they gave chips and pickes with the spinwich. They have a bakery on the side which is worth a visit. I will come back with more friends here!

Probably the best sandwiches I have ever had in my life. So soft and tender and rich while still feeling really light.... Every one should go. Best apple cider ever! The meals servings are big. We all had to bring some home. I had the lamb on a bun. Couldn't have been better. Stumbled upon this gem on a trip to Kingston. It’s incredibly beautiful inside. The service is unmatched. The servers are all calm and kind. Extremely accommodating. The Reuben was hands down the best I’ve ever had. I didn’t realized it was run by a religious cult until afterwards, but will still 100% return in the future. Loved it!

When I entered the restaurant, I felt like I was in a medieval magic town. The decoration was so cool and the hand painted menu was really cute! Food was tasty and the staffs were super friendly! The lamb deli was definitely the best! The aroma of the lamb immediately boomed in my mouth at the first bite.

The Yellow Deli is one of the best places to eat in Kingston. Staff are consistently friendly, engaging & attentive, without exception. Food is excellent; chili & Spinwich are among the best menu items. Whatever their spiritual path is, forget about. No attempt to preach or convert. They are good people.
