This is my first google review, and I'm to writing it because of the exemplary experience I had at The eBike Store. Buying a bike from this shop was wonderful--from start to finish. And this was the third bike store I've visited in Portland that sells electric bikes. First, what makes this store ideal if you're considering an electric bike is that they only sell e-bikes and they are experts on e-bikes. Everyone who works here has deep knowledge about electric bikes and the industry (including local laws, differences with safety testing among various manufacturers, and best practices with battery use and storage.) Andrew was the salesperson who moved me from abstract ideas about owning an e-bike, to a place of knowledge and confidence about the bike I ultimately chose (a tern quick haul p-9). He knew immediately what bike would be best for me and my lifestyle, but was extremely patient and kind as I tested multiple bike types before coming to the conclusion that an entry level cargo e-bike with a lower center of gravity (and 20 inch wheels) was, in fact, the best bike for me and my kiddo. Members of the sales team do test rides around the neighborhood with you--a brilliant practice, IMHO--because they are there to answer real-time questions and coach you as you actually ride various bikes. Riding a bike is often as much about feel as it is about specs and price, and the folks who work here know this. They are also a crew of fantastic humans. Andrew is hilarious (I laughed at a solid 75-80% of his jokes), whip-smart, and humble--a rare combination. So too is Wake, the owner. They spent so much time educating me on my bike, answering my many, many questions, and made me laugh until my face hurt. I look forward to having an excuse to come back by the shop to visit them. Don't waste your time at any other shop in Portland if you're serious about an e-bike. We are so lucky to have this shop and the people who work there as a resource in our community. They are an 11 on a 1-10 scale.

Had a great experience buying a hard-to-find model, and even got to test ride it! The staff here are by far the most knowledgeable of the several stores I visited. After looking all over Seattle for a specific bike, I finally found the closest store claiming to stock it was in Portland. I had previously called several bike stores and always had to explain exactly what I was looking for before a confused employee told me they didn't have it in stock. Not to knock other stores, but it was clear they didn't know ebikes as well, and they generally sold only a few specific models. I called The eBike Store, ready to do this same dance again, but when Andrew answered he knew exactly what I was looking for and had it available to test ride. On the day of the test ride, Andrew answered all of my questions and gave me a ton of tips on accessories to buy and how to get the most out of the bike. He was never pushy and didn't pressure me to buy anything, but he listened to how I use the bike (40 mile round trip commute) and helped me find the best accessories for my use. When it came time to pick up the bike, they had done a fantastic job assembling everything. The bike was perfectly fitted, the brakes were properly adjusted, and all the tires I'd purchased had been installed. They even worked with me to store the bike and let me pick it up another day with the SUV I'd rented to get it back to Seattle. I really can't say enough good things about this store. We have fantastic bike shops all over the Northwest, but I haven't found a single one that has the level of ebike-specific knowledge this place has. I'm the type of person that obsessively researches purchases for months ahead of time, and this was the first shop where the staff were knowledgeable enough to answer my questions and make me feel good about the purchase. I bought the bike back in May and have been using it for 4 months now and still absolutely love it.

I generally am not someone who writes reviews. But my experience with this store and with my eBike (a Gazelle) have been so WILDLY positive, I can't hold back! As a person who has always lived by a philosophy of buying things "gently owned", aka USED, I was really trepidatious about making a new purchase of this scale. I'm also NOT a natural athlete, nor a regular biker. Prior attempts to be a bike commuter were always thwarted by the negative experience of arriving at work dripping in sweat. But driving to and from work was weighing so heavily on my soul - both for the environmental impact and the spirit-crushing experience of the slog in daily Portland traffic. I desperately needed a change. So I got an appointment at the eBike store for some test rides. Long story short - I felt completely and authentically supported in the process of finding my Forever eBike (THANK YOU BRYAN AND ANDREW!!!!) and since the day I brought my Gazelle home, I have not driven to work once!!!!! It has been THREE MONTHS, no Driving!!! I've put over 500 miles on the bike. I've enjoyed beautiful rides, sunsets, sunrises and have loved the comraderie with other biking Portlanders. I arrive at work feeling refreshed, but not drenched in sweat. My car has accumulated so many leaves and dirt around the tires, my neighbors wondered if it was going to be towed away. This bike has been LIFE CHANGING - majorly boosting my well-being at the start and end of my day, and re-introducing a health-promoting way to travel to and from work, as well as being the perfect run-to-do-an-errand mode of transportation on the weekends. I even have jumped on it for a few early morning weekend rides to Sauvie Island. I just love it so much. Thank you eBike store for sharing this "Life Hack" with me to level up on Happiness. You are the best! And thanks, too, for the tune ups - what a gift!

I can't say enough good things about the Ebike Store and my experience purchasing my Gazelle Arroyo C8. I was completely new to ebikes and wanted an incentive to bike to work, which I never did with my standard bike because the hills were so off-putting. Robert asked what my needs and preferences were, showed me a few models, gave great instructions, and took me on a test ride through Peninsula Park. When I needed a couple brake adjustments, I just stopped in and they took care of it right then. (I wish I could remember the name of that service employee...he was great!) When I was looking for a particular style basket that they didn't have in stock, they ordered it in for me. My best interaction though was with Bryan when I wanted to see if my dog would tolerate the Buddyride doggy bike seat. Ahead of my visit, he installed the floor model on a the same model bike I have and let me bring my dog into the store to try it out. He gave me tips on installation and let me take my pup on a test ride, which he did amazing on, very much to my surprise (he had "failed" two bike trailers). I had never heard of the Buddyrider until I saw it in the store, but I'm so glad I found it, and so thankful for Bryan's help in making it work for my anxious pup so I can take my best friend with me on bike adventures. I LOVE my new bike, and it has gotten me so much more active. An ebike doesn't give as much of a workout as a standard bike, but way more of one than driving my car! Portlanders are fortunate to have such an awesome store right in town.

I purchased a new 2015 Focus Aventura S1.0 from The eBike Store a few months ago (summer 2015). First, the recommendation by the folks at The eBike Store to buy this bike was spot on perfect. I absolutely love this bike, without qualifications. It's perfect for my needs, and everyone at the store really took the time to educate me about e-bike technology and advise me of options, without any pressure whatsoever. Second, their after-sale customer service has been top tier. All tune ups and adjustments have been quickly and expertly performed. Third, the eBike Store is located in a great spot, almost immediately off I-5. Super easy to get to, with convenient parking and some good roadway nearby without too much traffic where you can test ride bikes. Fourth, they have a great selection of e-bikes, new and used. They also have super-friendly rental options, with some possibilities for crediting rental fees toward purchase price. Note that The eBike Store is not a huge cycling store with a crazy selection of biking accessories and gear. But there is no better place in the greater Portland area to shop for an e-bike.

I came in without an appointment on what looked to be a very busy morning, and Bryan very kindly answered my initial questions in the time he had available (and also gave my partner some stretching recommendations for his recently injured back), then helped me set up an appointment with Andrew for later the same day. Andrew was an absolute gem! He helped me narrow down my options based on what I liked/didn't like about my previous eBike; took me on a test ride to put my top pick through its paces; and ultimately paired me with a bike that met all my criteria and looks RAD, for way less than I expected to pay. I came back the next day and Andrew gave me an extremely thorough (and occasionally funny) intro to all the bike's features, and set me up with all the right accessories. Riding my bike home from the shop was like surfing on a freaking cloud. I'm so happy with my purchase and my first experience with the eBike store! Andrew deserves a big bonus and a lifetime supply of Trader Joe's almond butter cups.

I booked a test ride appointment yesterday and was met by a warm and absolutely thorough team, all of whom were committed to my understanding the nuances of buying and riding an e-bike for the first time. The shop was the perfect size with a nice selection of e-bikes but not overwhelming and definitely no pushy sales people making me feel pressured to try this or that. What impressed me most was how long Andrew S spent with me going over the operation of the bike, answered my million questions and then accompanied me on my test ride and provided excellent company. We had fun and he was patient and thorough and I left feeling really positive that I wanted to give this small but mighty local and long-standing e-bike store my business. I left to go to other shops to due my research but my hunch is that I want to buy from this company whoI know will give me the same great service throughout the life of my bike that they offered me at no charge during our initial meeting. I had a positive experience. Part of it was what they did *not* do: they didn't try to upsell me to something I didn't want, and they didn't try to steer me to in-stock items during the global supply chain disruption. We ended up working together over a six month period, and I got the bike I wanted. I worked with Bryan who was extremely knowledgeable and helpful. He listened at the front end to my physical needs and use case and steered me to two bikes that were both great choices. Ultimately I purchased a Specialized that rode the most "like a bike" of all the e-bikes I have tried. When I came to pick it up but realized I needed a rack installed, he said, "That takes a little while...but we can try to get it done today. It's going to be raining cats and dogs tomorrow." They got it done, along with the saddle I'd brought, that day, and I got a lesson on features before departing. These guys do not operate on a commission, and they get smart, dedicated people, so it's a good experience.

Amazing customer service!!! We drove to Portland from Snohomish WA to purchase our Gazelle Electric bikes. So happy we did. The test ride was fun. I hadn't been on a bike in years and we had such a great time trying out the Gazelle bikes we spent weeks researching. For the record, I was faster than the boys. When we got home and took them out on the maiden voyage a day or so later one of our locks wouldn't turn. We contacted EBike Store and Wake came to our home and fixed it for us. He drove 6 hours round trip to make sure the customer, 'US' are happy with our purchase and correct any malfunctions. He did not ask us to bring it back to him as ever other store would have. Many company's don't focus on excellent customer service any longer and the service, communication along with a great attitude from everyone at this store was amazing. We are telling all of our friends and will for years to come. Thank you Wake and all the staff at EBike Store!

Last week I purchased my first e-bike at the eBike Store. It has been a wonderful experience and if I could give 10 stars they would deserve every single one of those. From the initial phone conversation I had an excellent support from the staff and in particular from the owner Gregg. I knew already what model I wanted to buy and I ordered it via the phone. When I arrived I was greeted by Gregg. The bike was ready, the computer customized with my name on it. Gregg spent 1 hour answering every question I had, explaining every single detail of the bike, how to maintain it, what to watch for, how to ride it (it goes very fast). Then, before the final payment, he let me try it all around Portland (he offered me a map and suggested the best routes to test it on). At my return he tuned the few things I wanted to tweak. All the time he was very helpful and willing to make sure I had the best possible experience with the bike.

UPDATE (March 2021) - After a couple years of service (all very good), I purchased a $4k ebike from them and am very happy with it. I was concerned about battery as I put a LOT of miles on it (~200 miles/week), and owner (Wake, I believe) agreed to let me upgrade with a higher wattage battery once it comes in. Here is my previous review a year or two ago... I've had work on my e-bike here three times. They were professional, knowledgeable, timely and up front with the cost that I thought was very reasonable. I had issues with the rim they repaired that I don't think was as a result of anything they did, it just happened, but regardless, they stood behind their work and took care of the issue without question without any additional cost to me. I did not purchase my E-bike from them, mostly because I was not aware of them, but I will likely get my next one there. I'll be back and I recommend them highly. Thanks!

Hats off to Wakefield and his crew at the eBike Store in North Portland! * They have top quality products and expert staff ready to focus on fun, comfort and safety. * As older customers, they listened to us describe our needs and worked with us to help us understand what we were getting into, and how best to use and maintain the E bikes and batteries. * The owner, Wakefield, and his staff, were fun, patient and courteous -- and there were no pushy sales tactics. * We went back several times for test rides, and carefully considered our purchase before deciding on two electric bikes -- a white Sprint for me and a red Bolt for the husband. * These bikes are already letting us get out more, despite problem knees that had previously grounded us. We still enjoy pedaling, but those pesky hills are no longer a concern. * We are VERY happy customers and can recommend the eBike Store without reservation.

I just purchased a new E-bike and can not use enough superlatives to describe my experience!!! ON the day of my first appointment, Bryan spent 4 hours with me, describing the features of the different bike choices, and allowing me to ride multiple bikes. I ended up choosing a very different bike than the one I thought I wanted! Despite an anticipated arrival date for my order, of 2.5-3 months, I received a notice within 2 weeks that he had been able to find my bike somewhere in the US, had had it shipped and assembled, and it was ready to pick up! And on pick up, Bryan again spent a couple hours explaining the many features of the bike app, accompanied by a cheat sheet for reference, as well as the inner workings of the bike rack, and the Bluetooth lock system, ! Throughout the process, his enthusiasm was so infectious! It is obvious he LOVES his bikes, and inspiring others to share that love.

This week I purchased a Gazelle Arroyo C8 HMB from The eBike Store in north Portland. It's a bustling professional shop with knowledgeable and attentive staff. While they carry the top brands you'd expect to see, in the hour or so I was there they sold three (Royal Dutch) Gazelles; two Arroyos and one EasyFlow. If you're shopping for an electric bike it would be my suggestion to select an established brand, and not a Johnny come lately importing Chinese bikes. You don't want to be two or three years down the road and need parts or a battery to learn the brand has vanished. Royal Dutch Gazelle has been in business for 125 years and the "Royal Dutch" nomenclature is conferred VERY selectively by the monarchy. They're not going anywhere, and accordingly their bikes have the longest warranty that I've seen. Wake Gregg and his team have a great reputation and they lived up to it with me.

The E-bike Store recently converted my bike to an E-bike, and I absolutely love it. I’m a guy in my mid 50’s with no car and a limited budget. For about half of what it costs to buy one of the least expensive new E-bikes on the market, I now have a bike that easily climbs any hill, and makes head winds disappear. I am very impressed with both the quality of the kit I purchased and the way they installed the components needed for my bike. I would have no reservations recommending the E-bike Store if you are considering converting your present bicycle. Today I went grocery shopping with my converted bike. There was a fairly strong head wind on my way home, and the temperature was in the mid 80’s. I made it home quickly with 20 pounds of groceries without breaking a sweat. My E-bike has made living in Portland without a car much easier. I’m definitely a happy customer.

Originally called to ask 1 question and spent over half an hour speaking with Andrew. He answered my questions about e-bikes as well as offering up many useful insight and recommendations. I setup an appointment for a test ride and was expecting to meet Andrew and I got Bryan. I didn’t think I could get an employee more passionate and knowledgeable than Andrew but Bryan proved me wrong. Spent an hour learning and test riding a few bikes. Decided to purchase a Specialized Turbo Vado 4 and the bike was ready for pickup in 3 days. Came in for my “New Bike Day” and spent another hour with Bryan going over every detail of my new bike, including how to use the app and how to tune the motor. The e-bike store has top level customer service from passionate and knowledgeable employees with a zero pressure to buy attitude. It’s refreshing and I HIGHLY recommend them!!

Just bought my 5th Specialized Turbo e-bike, have interacted with numerous bike shops regarding them. All the shops have been great bike shops that carry e-bikes and have some knowledge. None compare at all to eBike Store. The folks at eBike are true experts. They have so many years of experience, so much expertise, and so much passion for e-bikes there is simply no better place to buy and service e-bikes. Super knowledgeable about Specialized in particular. And they are super friendly and welcoming, not at all snobby, and bend over backward to be helpful. I had the pleasure of working with Andrew and Wake, I’m confident everyone there is awesome too. If you like working with people who are experts at their craft and focused on using their knowledge to provide the best guidance and advice, this is your e-bike store.

Purchased a OneWheel from these guys. Been loving it ever since! The customer service was great throughout, with constant updates about the status of my order (at the time there was a 3-4 week wait). One day around Christmas time, randomly I received something in the mail from with eBike Store on the envelope. I opened the mysterious package, only to find out a miniature OneWheel ornament for the tree inside, with a nice handwritten note wishing me happy holidays and following up on my experience with the OneWheel thus far. This put a huge smile on my face. I've never bought something from a store, and received a handwritten note about it half a year later. Truly great customer service. Can't wait to buy more things from the eBike Store! Maybe an actual bike someday soon :)

First off, what a professional outfit The eBike Store is. Sales representative Andrew Schnell is very knowledgable and excellent at his job. I did an online purchase for a Gazelle Ultimate C380+, frame size Large 57. When I arrived to pick up the bike, Andrew told me the bike size was to big for me and talked me into a medium frame. Even though the shop had built up the large size and then had to build up the medium size, there was no extra charge. Andrew was more interested in fitting me correctly and making sure I had all the information I needed to get the most out of my eBike. When leaving the store, Andrew showed me the best way to secure the eBike on my new bike rack that would be most secure and prevent damage to the bike fenders.

I own an e-bike store in Eugene. My partners John and Tom have visited this store and had many positive interactions with the owner Wake. When we first opened Wake was one of our first distributors of quality e-bikes and he has always supplied us with maintenance and warranty parts promptly upon request. He has been there through the years to answer our questions and help us navigate the business world. We are so thankful for his support. Wake follows the rules and can be trusted to act with utter integrity. He is kind, generous, warm, honest and friendly but most importantly he is highly skilled and competent. If I lived in Portland or thereabouts this is the store I would go to hands down. Wake knows e-bikes and deserves your business.

Though we did not end up purchasing a bike from the eBike Store Wake and his staff were amazingly helpful. It was a shopping experience like none other. Wake answered all of our questions and then took us on a test ride. He was very kind to our 10 year old daughter and even adjusted her handlebars. We live int he neighborhood, and really wanted to support a good neighbor like the eBike store, but had very specific needs when it comes to the type of bike we need at this time. If you are have ever thought about getting an electric bike visit the eBike Store, you won't be disappointed. We felt bad telling Wake we purchased somewhere else, but he was kind and full of grace and seemed to understand our reasons.

Called ahead to schedule an appointment and they were super nice and able to schedule me super fast and fixed my Ariel rider x class in under 20 minutes and also showed me for what to look out for when it’s time to get it serviced. One of the best ebike stores in Portland! Updated review: I crashed my bike because I was going a little too crazy but luckily I was near by the shop and they were able to immediately help me out and make sure my bike was safe to ride back home and they even took time out of what they were doing to help me with a accessory install and that to me shows how much they care about their customers. Amazing store and employees and will be stopping by again no doubt

Andrew is literally the best salesperson I think I have met so far. Really everyone at this place was very friendly; you can tell they want to help you make the best decision in regards to buying an ebike. I’ve been to many other bike shops and they seem either overzealous or indifferent, the eBike Store is right in the middle. The test ride experience is set up to answer all questions in a non-rushed, enjoyable experience. There’s no pressure to buy, no annoying follow up phone calls (I came in once before,) and everyone seems to like working at the store. This was a great buying experience (2022 Specialized Levo) and I would highly recommend both the eBike Store and Andrew especially.

I bought a Specialized Creo e-bike they had on sale, but I had to put it on hold for a week before I could drive to pick it up. Put down a deposit and they held it for me. I added a couple of items to be installed, so luckily no trouble for the extra time that would take. Brian explained they preferred to spend time explaining features on pickup and recommended downloading the Specialized phone app prior to pickup. He spent a lot of time going over the phone app features, best battery usage and quoting prices for me on other available options. Excellent customer service. Another friend had previously bought an e-bike from The eBike Store a year prior and also had high praise.

We recently purchased 2 specialized Levo comp carbon fiber mountain e bikes from the e bike store and we are thrilled with this purchase!!! The bikes are amazing to ride!! Best bike rides ever!! Colin did a great job putting our bikes together!!! Andrew and Paul went over the top to make sure we were well informed about the bikes before we brought the bikes home. We also purchased a bike rack for our bikes that Andrew recommended and it is the best ever bike rack with easy on and off our vehicles and holds the bikes in place great and secure!!! Conscientious service and quality - I bought my bike here about a year ago, a Kalkhoff Tasman Classic, and have used it for commuting to work throughout the year. I've been very happy with it. However, it developed a problem with the gears slipping intermittently, and needed the hub replaced. Fortunately, this work is being done under warranty from Shimano! I look forward to getting my bike back in a day or two. It's clear that these guys are focused on high quality - both in terms of carrying high-quality e-bikes by brands that will still be around for years to come, and by providing high-quality and conscientious maintenance for the bikes that they sell.

When I walked into the eBike store I was a complete novice with regards to riding a Onewheel. Bryan assisted me and was amazing! He promised me that before I left I would know how to ride a Onewheel and he was absolutely 100% successful! As a sales VP for the past 21 years I strive to have all of my teams deliver the most exceptional customer service possible. This crew absolutely nailed it 100%! If you are looking to make a purchase on a Onewheel or an E Bike you need to go see these guys. They are legit! I will refer everybody I know to Bryan and the eBike store. Thanks guys! Appointments recommended here. I showed up about 30 minutes before closing time intending to browse with my family. Met the head of sales and I have to say he could definitely use a little more customer facing friendliness. Didn’t feel welcomed here, more like a burden, and was judged when I asked if they had any folding electric bikes (“what’s your reason for needing one”). Sorry, I didn’t know I needed to justify a purchase. (Btw, they do not have any folding electric bikes in stock). I get it if you’re trying to help a customer find something that suits their needs, but the abrasiveness was off-putting.

I'm so glad I bought my first ever ebike through The eBike Store. The entire staff is so friendly and knowledgeable, starting from the moment I asked if my dog could escape the 90 degree heat and chill in the shop during setup, to the moment I left 30 minutes after doors closed because I just had to absorb as much information as possible - ebikes is all they do, and they provide as many pro tips as possible. Thanks to that, I'm confident I won't be back to buy another ebike for quite some time (because it'll last with proper TLC), but I will recommend this shop to those near and far.

My husband and I visited the store today. We got “greeted” by a very unfriendly female because our truck was not parked right. We had a very polite sales person named Sebastian who was able to answer all our questions and to both my husband and I for a test ride. I was getting a proposal for a test bike because my heart was set on a certain color. When I was ready to buy I was told no by some manager/owner (Not in person) that the policy presented to me was not longer in effect. Watch out!! They show off bike colors that they don’t have in stock!! Bought my bike someplace else.

Wake and is staff went beyond normal to make sure I ended up with the bike that was just right for me. I rented before I purchased and happy I did. Rode four bike and ended up with a Specilized Vado 5.0. I love it! I live in West Linn and ride to my office in Lake Oswego over several hills with no problem. Before I had to stay on the flats where traffic was and now I hit the back roads, really I can go where ever I want. You still have to pedal and can adjust the level of resistance to little or close to a normal pedal bike or shut off the power, well thats a little extreme.

I had an outstanding experience at the Ebike store in Portland. Andrew’s dedicated service truly stood out. He spent over an hour thoroughly explaining my new Specialized Turbo Levi Comp Carbon, including care and preventative maintenance tips. He even shared some fantastic ride recommendations, which I greatly appreciated. Jefferson was incredibly friendly, and the store’s atmosphere was exceptionally welcoming, creating a positive and energizing environment. I know they’ll always welcome any questions I may have. After talking through what I was looking for with Andrew, I was able to go on some test rides and get to know the bikes. Throughout the whole process, Andrew was patient, comprehensive, and enthusiastic. What a great experience! I walked into this shop with very little knowledge about e-bikes and was patiently taught everything I’d ever want to know! I was taken out on several bikes with the owner of the shop as he discussed the differences of models and motors etc. I took two bikes out to demo for a few days each and fell in love! This shop is amazing and you will get great service and walk away with a new level of comfort knowing as much information as you could want. If you are curious about electric bikes, I HIGHLY recommend this little local spot!

I am so happy with the service I received here. Even though this is an electric bike store, they were happy to take a look at my electric scooter. It is my main source of transportation and I couldn’t find any other store to repair my scooter. I brought it to them to diagnose the problem. A few days later they called back and they completely repaired it and charged a very reasonable price for the repairs. I am so happy. Totally recommend this place. They really know what their doing. I will be coming back here if I need any more repairs on my scooter.

I brought in my ebike to get my wheel trued and a spoke replaced with my warranty. One of the workers tells me that it will take one day for the spoke to get replaced and the wheel to get trued but however it took up to four days for them to get the work done. Also, another issue that has been brought to my attention by one of your employees today 09/22/2019 is that the wheel your employee ordered for me on 06/24/2019 is not the correct weight capacity for my size. Which boggles my mind and is a waste of my money $180 that I invested into this wheel.

E-bikes are fun! My wife and I dropped into this store to check out an e-bike for my mother in law. Robert gave us a tour of his shop and we had a great time! We each ended up riding 3 different bikes. All of them were comfortable, easy to ride, and FAST! The prices, while not cheap, were very reasonable considering you can ride one of these bikes to work every day, beat traffic, and never pay for gas, vehicle maintenance, or parking. Definitely worth the investment in my opinion. If you haven't tried riding an e-bike recently, do it! They're fun!

I recently purchased a Rad Power ebike due to their sale. I dropped in to The eBike Store and, with staff member Andrew's help, was easily able to schedule a safety check as well as pick out a new helmet. All the staff were extremely friendly, helpful, and welcoming to me as a newcomer to the ebike scene. Since then, Andrew has also walked me through some technical difficulties and provided me with alternate resources to get my bike in shape -- thanks, Andrew!! My wife and I had a wonderful experience at the eBike Store. We worked with Andrew S. who was very knowledgeable, asked good questions and took plenty of time to make sure we were matched with bikes that fit our needs. They have a good selection and were able to get the bikes we wanted. When we went back to pick them up, Andrew spent a lot of time educating us on the bikes, their features and future maintenance. I’ve probably been to almost every single bike shop in Portland over the past year while purchasing a road bike and an e bike. This shop is hands down the best one I’ve encountered. Every employee I’ve worked with was super professional and knowledgeable, and if they didn’t know the answer to something they told me so, and then did the research and followed up with me. I mean they even greeted me as I walked in by name! You’d think I bought a Ferrari from them but I think they just value all of their customers. Check it out.

Wow! What a fantastic experience. I worked with Andrew, who took ample time to walk me through my options and talk about all of the important things to consider when buying an electric bike. Once I bought one, he spent an hour with me going over how to maintain it, how to optimize battery life, and so forth. Not only was Andrew wonderful, but the entire staff was as well. On 9 May 2022 around 4:30 pm I called this shop to inquire if the had a Specialized SL Range Extender Battery and Road Bike (220 mm) cable. The male individual on the phone said yes. Then asked if I purchased the bike from this shop. When I said I didn’t, he said he wouldn’t sell me the battery. It’s only for their customers. This item can’t be purchased on-line thru Specialized. I asked to speak to the owner and the individual said he would take my name and number and the owner will return my call in the future.

Went to e-bike fair near Lloyd Center last year and test rode some e-bikes. Stromer was definitely the best bike. Did some research and found that eBike Store was the only stocking dealer. Last week went on a test ride with Robert, a nice 5 miler and had a wonderful experience. My SO had never been on an E bike but way more experienced and capable rider, Long story short, have purchased 2 ST2's. I can ride with my sweetie!! These guys are great. Love the followup. If you want a Stromer this is the place to buy.

Andrew and the crew helped me find the right bike for me. They put a lot of care and attention into helping me figure out what I wanted and pick the right level for my budget. Loved the concise but through guidance on maintaining my new machine that they sent me home with as well - great for someone like me who does not usually read the manual. They built trust while I shopped and I anticipate using them for all my ebike repairs too - even though I do love another bicycle shop that I've been seeing for years.

I am pleased with the customer service at this shop. Brian was thorough in documenting the work desired and noted my e-bike would be ready by COB July 2. Only July 3 when I intended to pick-up my e-bike, I discovered it was not ready due to a mix-up. Jeff, however, took quick action to have my e-bike ready by 6:00 pm. I was also pleased to see that the suspension seat post had new springs (at my request) at no cost to me. I happily rode my e-bike on July 4 as intended. Many thanks to staff.

I've traveled 9000 miles around this country needing to meet this man, Wake, and his staff. And I've been looking. And finally here in Portland. I travel in an experimental vehicle, a solar Harvester trike micro Recreation vehicle. Yesterday and today I met one of the finest human beings of my life let alone extremely skillful and able to solve complex problems, Wake, the proprietor. That's saying quite a bit as someone that turn 66 years old in several weeks.

I just picked up my new Specialized bike, and Andrew was amazing! This is not my first e-bike, but my first from this store. They really train you in how to use and care for your bike, which was not my previous experience with another shop. And even though I've been riding for many years, I learned a lot! The shop guys were also great, putting new bars and extras on at a moment's notice. It was a great bike-buying experience - highly recommend this shop!

I stopped by there today. They didn't have what I was looking for (a conversion kit for a 700c) but Chad spent 15 minutes with me explaining a provider he recommended along with pros and cons of various kits. I'd been there once before and spoke briefly with Wake who quickly solved a small problem I was having with an ebike I'd bought used from someone else. Talked to Robert. Starting to shop for 1 bike, was so impressed with the shop and the bikes that we'll probably buy 2. Almost four years later... Very pleased with both bikes. My neighbors have also bought 2 bikes. This is the place to buy ebikes. Adding on 11. 28.22 - - bike is in for a minor brake problem and overall check. Good response from the repair department and I expect fast turnaround.

Be sure to call ahead and make an appointment, super easy, and will save you some time. Went to buy a one wheel and was given some great basic instruction, and training how to use it as well as advice for how to enjoy the board best, and maintaining it. Highly recommend getting your board here rather than ordering online.
