I am only giving a 5 star review because this place doesn’t seem to care to tend to the bad experiences people have had. Otherwise, 0 stars would be appropriate in this scenario. I have been seeing Dr. Mark since I was a baby and my parents had been patients with this practice for over 25 years! My dad received temporary implants from Dr. Mark. They looked wonderful and my dad was excited to finally get the permanent implants! His appointment was scheduled from 8a-4p (so all day) and they had him pay a deposit. So yesterday my dad gets a phone call from the receptionist, Enitra. I don’t know how to spell her name but she has been the main receptionist and has worked there since I was a kid. She’s always had attitude and just seems miserable in general. Sorry not sorry she can just be a total b sometimes. She calls and tells him that she needs to collect the rest of his payment for the procedure. My dad explains to her that he already put a deposit down for his appointment and that he wouldn’t mind writing the check before he went back to get his implants when he came in for his appointment. This upsets her I guess because she straight up tells him that Dr. Mark told her that he doesn’t even want my dad as a patient anymore and hasn’t for awhile and that he should just take his business elsewhere. And guess what? Can’t get his deposit back of course! (he was able to dispute the charge on his card thankfully). So all that to say that because your silly receptionist couldn’t keep her mouth shut because she was so antsy to get his money, y’all ended up losing about $8000 from my dad alone… I’d hate to see how much insurance covered because y’all won’t see a penny of that either. Will there actually be no consequences for Miss Enitra’s actions? You also lost out on resources. Or are y’all just okay with treating your day one patients like trash? I’m sure you can squeeze several patients into his slot now so good job. My dad even texted Dr. Mark’s personal number not being rude or anything just explaining that Enitra was pretty rude to him. And no response! Seriously? Not only did you lose out on $20k+ from my dad alone but now you also dropped 4 other patients in the process (my mom, aunt, brother, and I)! I know in the grand scheme of things you still won’t care because it still probably wouldn’t put a dent in your pockets if that’s all you care about… Id hate for some of the other patients to know the nasty things Enitra has said about them. Ive seen a lot in my own 22 years of life and y’all are still not too far away from the hut you used to practice in. Maybe go back take a look and humble yourself. You can tell Enitra Breana personally said she can go F herself too.

I have been going to Thomason Dental over the course of my five years in Nashville. It has always been great. I have a high stress job that requires my 100% presence for three out of four weeks of the month. The end of the year is always the busiest and I had to call to cancel my appointment in December. We rescheduled for a day in January when I had my one week free. I normally receive a call from Thomasson Dental confirming the appointment but didn’t, so I decided to call them. I politely explained that I was coming in for my appointment but was told it wasn’t on the schedule. After a bit of confusion, I was transferred to a particularly combative receptionist who told me that they couldn’t reschedule me until after I paid the $50 fee for missing my last appointment. In addition to that, she kept referring to my missed December appointment as a “no-show”, despite the fact it had been discussed (with her, no-less) AND rescheduled – by HER! I realize time is money and was more than happy to pay the $50 fee but, if they couldn’t set up another appointment until after it was paid, then why did we put it on the calendar? As it turns out, they sent a letter to a home address from five year ago regarding the $50. I guess doing it on the phone in December would have been too much work. The Dental work at Thomasson Dentistry is fantastic but, unfortunately, the receptionists treat you like a number in a system and don’t really care about what’s fair, right or logical. Bottom Line: You shouldn’t be scheduling appointments that don’t exist.

Dr. Mark Thomasson, Dr. Andy Thomasson, and their wonderful staff make me feel welcome, relaxed, and comfortable during every visit. Patient comfort is the top priority, and the quality of their work is top-notch. The first time I had an appointment (now decades ago!) all my anxiety left. Mark is soft-spoken and easy-going -- has kind of a "Will Rogers" humble personality -- but he knows his way around human mouths and all the problems we can have with them! And now his son, Andy, has joined the practice. What a team! The Thomasson Dental staff is highly professional and very skilled, but they are also kind and compassionate. I truly feel like part of their 'family', and you will too, once you become a 'regular visitor'! If you're looking for a dental office where you can get the finest professional care, along with true kindness, make an appointment with Thomasson Dental. I have been to many dental offices in my life, and thanks to Mark Thomasson, DDS, along with Andy Thomasson, DDS, and their fine staff, I no longer dread dental appointments. They take good care of me, and they'll do the same for you. I love Thomasson Dental!

All the reviews are true. Every single word. Inviting. Caring. Pleasant. Clean. Affordable. Experienced. TOP NOTCH facility. Honestly, I have never been so warmly welcomed into a Dental office- or ANY type of Medical office, for that matter- in my life. And it's not a show, it is absolutely genuine. These folks love what they do. Like most normal humans, I get really weird about the dentist. I mean, just making an appointment consumes me with the most raw and real kind of DREAD. But as a resident of Madison, I drive by the office so frequently and inquired simply because I knew it would be convenient. After doing my research and reading others rave about their experience here, I felt comfortable enough to give them a try. Best decision ever. And it will be for you too. If you are putting off dental care because of fear and worry, please do yourself the favor and call now. You will find yourself in the most excellent, loving care.

Dr. Andrew Thomasson and Jamie one many assistants. I would compare my experience to winning the dental lottery. I have had my share of dentist throughout my life and can honestly say Thomasson Dentistry is on top of their dental game. Staff is knowledgeable, friendly and polite as well as their updated dental equipment to make sure all of your dental needs are met. Dr. Andy Thomasson understood my dental phobia from past bad experiences with other dentist and made a point to make sure I was comfortable and took extreme care when doing any of my dental work. This was the MOST inviting, pleasantly calming and thorough dental visit I’ve EVER had! They are a father & son dental profession team and you quickly experience a family climate of comfort when you enter the office. All the dental hygienist are warm and courteous and it just reminded me of how folks use to treat one another with the utmost care and kindness. Their technology is top of the line! They were able to show me things I’d not seen before regarding my dental health. I am a new patient here. My first appointment was a routine teeth cleaning with the technician, Rachel. She was hilarious and wonderful throughout the cleaning. I found their practice to be very clean and comfortable. No one was in the lobby while I waited, which I am thankful for during COVID. I appreciated the extent of their exam involving photos and xrays to understand the bigger picture of my dental health. When I checked out, I was delighted to be given an umbrella as a new patient gift. Overall, a great experience.

I have been a patient of Dr Thomasson four a few years. He is always kind thoughtful and strives to be painless. I can't remember a time when I have ever felt pain during a visit to him. His staff is just as he is, very professional, caring, and there to help you with any questions. I have never had to sit in the waiting area for very long before I was called back, which we all know we hate that part. LOL. Thomasson Dental is well organized, well staffed and their equipment is modern and digitized. Connie was my dental hygienist. She was expert, patient and reassuring. She put me at ease as she cleaned my teeth. Connie manipulated the cameras and X-ray equipment efficiently and I was able to view every photo and X-ray on a screen in front of me. My first visit to your practice was wonderful! Rachel, my dental hygienist was thorough, gentle, and informative. Dr. Thomasson takes a reasonable approach to treatment, recommending procedures only if necessary and supportive of the structure of your mouth. Penny and the kind folks in the office take care in figuring out the complications of insurance coverage for you and charges are fair. The facilities are clean and modern with all the latest technology. I’d highly recommend this clinic to everyone.

I've found me a new dentist on Gallatin Road. What a pleasant experience. Dr. Andy is awesome. If you're looking for help with your teeth, I would highly recommend Thomasson Dental. The staff welcomes you upon arrival and is very friendly and helpful. As the patient, you feel more like a friend than an account. Dr. Adam and the technicians clearly know their jobs as professionals and do them very well. I had a crown procedure and it was completed totally in two hours. No temporary crown, wait a couple of weeks and make a return visit! I had a great experience and would recommend this practice to anyone.
