Ambience - Nice atmosphere with a variety of music in the background. I heard 70s all the way through today's popular hits. Service - My waiter was relatively attentive and quick to offer a hand. He also checked to see if I needed anything a few times. It was lunch hour so not much was going on. Hopefully, that trend would continue through the night. Food - The salmon sandwich was the best of the day. It had a hint of spice and decent flavor. Personally, the amount of arugula was overwhelming but some may enjoy it. The fries were sub-par and the calamari rings were nothing short of overcooked, bland, and terrible. I felt like i was eating small race tires in fried batter. Parking - Typical for Atlanta. Either a parking lot or, if you're lucky, a street spot that cost WAY less. Accessibility - Didn't see any wheelchair ramps, so I'm uncertain if there were any around the side. The front door definitely didn't have any. Overall - It was okay. I was underwhelmed and probably wouldn't return. It just didn't leave that type of impression on me.

This place was neat and got busy quickly after we sat. Thank goodness we made reservations beforehand. The food was good (not great) and the vibe was very business casual. However, our server was terrible. She was never around. Never checked on us. And the two times we got her attention (once to check on the food because we had been waiting 45 minutes after placing our order with zero update, and two because we needed to pay our tab) she looked annoyed and borderline offended that we interrupted her. What’s worse is that she was training some young guy as well. Honestly, the trainee seemed better than her but not by much. I wanted to say something to management but we needed to run to our show (we would’ve had ample time if the server just checked in on us once in awhile so we didn’t have to wait 30 minutes AFTER finishing our meals to pay). The food was good but unjustifiable with the service. Would not recommend.

Dragon's Breath
Went to this place on a random Monday thinking it was going to be an easy in and out. It was packed! I think there was a concert or convention or something. Hostess was very nice, we were seated quickly because we had a reservation. I did watch her turn people away- cuz they didn't. The place is a vibe. Not a huge restaurant, but really nice design. Had a bit of a wait on the sushi- but we were warned, so no problem there. Had two rounds of drinks by the time it came out. it seemed everyone ordered sushi. Had the Dragon's breath- awesome roll, had some sashimi- super fresh. My friend had the seafood mac and cheese- Huge! Loaded with lobster and crab. honestly enough to share. Server was great, but was could tell she would be better on a less chaotic night. All in all- Highly recommend.

Food was very good. Well prepared. We were there before a concert and had a reservation. We shared appetizers and mac. Fried green tomatoes with spicy bacon jam were excellent. Lightly battered and seasoned. Crispy and not greasy. The bacon jam was delicious. The lobster mac n cheese was by far the best I've had. Rich and cheesy with generous amounts of blackened lobster, shrimp and crab. The sushi rolls were surprisingly good. I definitely recommend Thrive and will be visiting again. More food than we could eat. The server and staff were attentive and friendly.

We parked in the Ruby Lot at CNN Center and walked a couple blocks.
The restaurant was beautiful. We ordered the fried green tomatoes for an app, and they were very good. The sushi (Dragons Breath) was pretty average - nothing special. Service was okay. Our frustration was “happy hour “ that is advertised on the website and social channels. The website clearly stated when happy hour was the day we went, so we didn’t hesitate ordering a second round of drinks before we left. We got the bill and there was no happy hour discount. We asked the server and she said, “oh, we don’t have happy hour here.” We told her it was advertised on the website and she said “Oh, I’ve never seen our website.” Pretty frustrating considering we made reservations. We’ll skip this place next time we’re in ATL for a concert.

Everything here was amazing. The food was perfect. The chef did an amazing job. Definitely recommend the salmon covered fried shrimp and potstickers as appetizers. The entree was amazing as well. The atmosphere was great. Ester and Zoe, the bar tender and waitress were great and super attentive. We loved every part of the evening and the manager Shanelle was nice too. The chef came out personally and we told him how awesome the food was. Would recommend. This is a hidden gem in downtown Atl. Just go. Everything will be perfect.

What’s difference new management makes! We took the chance and came back and I’m SO glad we did! The food was FANTASTIC! The atmosphere was incredible, the people were friendly and warm. My drinks….oh my Sweet God! If you haven’t been, go- if it’s been a while since you last tried Thrive out, get back there. You won’t be disappointed

Food and Drinks were amazingly delicious and service was outstanding! We started off with the Fried green tomatoes for our appetizer....very light and tasty! For our main course I had the Salmon and Ceasar Salad while my wife had the Southern fried Airline chicken (highly recommend both dishes). We also had the Lychee Martini (one of the best Martinis I've had). This was our first time here and I must say it will not be our last. I recommend making reservations as it got a little busy as we were leaving.

Excellent service, food was amazing, all the staff was professional and courteous. We were there at the Glass Show and this was by far the best service, quality of food and customer service out of 5 restaurants. We had 8 guys from our different plants there from the President, GMs, and Plant Managers indulging in our food and drinks. Great job to the Manager and her staff. Thank You from Portland Glass, Tacoma Glass, and Burlington Glass. It was great getting to know you and your staff. Thank You and great Job!

Love this place! We come here for date night whenever we can get away. The food was great, as usual. The service was not the usual, but still good considering it was jam packed on a concert night. I used to be a server so I understand that you have to have a little patience when an entire restaurant packed out in 20 minutes. Had The ginormous steak.. A+. Drinks were great… had the lychee. Always a good time at thrive.

Chef Weekly Cut Steak and Frites, Fried Green Tomatoes
Me and my husband visited this restaurant for the first time for dinner. The vibe, decor, and layout was stunning. We were seated promptly for our reservation. The appetizer (Fried Green tomatoes) were tasty. The sushi was delicious; however, it took almost 40 minutes to get our main course. The service was not good and very inattentive. My husbands salmon was a bit dry as well, but presentation was good. Recommendation: go strictly for drinks, appetizers, and sushi.

Really like this place. I got full off of appetizers.. The calamari and potstickers are delicious. Our server was new, but we couldn’t tell. The manager Chanel came over to check on us, that’s always a nice touch. Don’t drink - but they had some neat looking drinks. I barely ate half of my steak because I devoured the apps, so I took it to go, it was even better the day. Will definitely return.

Overall a 4. It exceeded my expectations. The price is a bit high but they are in downtown. They he food is a little better than average. Generally it was a bit too wet and saucy for me, but it was high quality and prepared well. The atmosphere was really great and the service from Kyla was exceptional. I’ll definitely go here again. The coffee was really good and everyone was very nice.

We showed up at 5 when they opened and it still took an hour to get our food. It photographs real well, but I can’t say anything was super impressive. I guess the draw is that they have non sushi options in case you hang out with a picky eater. Prices were reasonable for what it is, but I’d try other options before I came back.
The sushi was good. Very trendy and cool feel inside. The waitress was fine, but seemed slightly dismissive and annoyed.

If you enjoy crunchy, uncooked rice in your sushi and watching the tables around you receive their drinks and food as you wait on your own server to share their disdain for serving you, then this is your place. Otherwise, I recommend avoiding this place like the plague. 1 / More
We had a team dinner here with colleagues and it was a very pleasant experience. The service was very friendly and prompt, and we all liked what we ordered - both appetizers and entrees. The standout dish was the burrata and bread, and we
Terrible experience!!!! Food took close to an hour to get to the table, when it got there my shrimp and grits were cold. The waitress said she would get me a fresh plate and brought back the same plate a little bit warmer (obviously they
The food here is a little over the top, the green fried tomatoes are smothered in a peculiar tasting sauce, the edamame is bathed in sesame oil and the wedge salad is romaine rather than iceberg. The sushi was fine, but not amazing. Our
The service was good. It was the scallops that lacked which is why it was a 2 star and not higher. The first plate was so salty that I choked with the first bite. It happened to my friend as well. It was as if the chef garnished with a

Garlic and shrimp salad was fantastic. Sushi was really good too. Cucumber/crab salad should’ve just been called a cucumber salad , cucumber outdid the crab by a lot lol More
Came for a family dinner and enjoyed all appetizers and entrees. Fried green tomatoes came five pieces in an order and were pretty good although small - the only negative.
