We went to Car City with an agenda, to come home with a car that day. We knew what we wanted and how much we wanted to spend. The first two people we met were such a bad experience, we ended up leaving. We came home and felt really let down. Incredibly disappointment by the service and not coming home with a car. We thought we would try one last time for the day, but by this stage, it was almost closing time, so we didn't have high hopes. Then we met, Daniel from Tim's Highway Cars. I can not express enough just how helpful, professional and friendly he was. Daniel was patient even when by this time, they were now closed. He answered all questions we had, he was honest, upfront and never pushy. He treated us with respect and that went a long way. We've bought 3 cars over the years, and this was the best experience we have ever had. The car is great quality, very good looking and an all round good buy, couple that with the high end service, I would strongly recommend them for car sales to anyone, any time. Thank you, Daniel, for making what was a disappointing day into one of the best days. You and Tim's Highway Cars are a complete asset to Car City! Keep up the great work.

Only reason I didn't give a 5 is it's only been a short time since buying a car from Tim's and as long as the car continues to run then this family run business is deserving of 10 stars.. What can I say, on a day that was wet, cold and windy it was like all the sales people at "other yards" had become extinct. After walking around the bottom level for about 60 minutes unapproached I decided to walk up the top level in which I was informed in a earlier phone conversation with another caryard was out of my price range. From the moment I walked into Tim's car yard I was greeted in the yard by a lovely lady who quickly called her son to assist me. We spoke about what I was looking for and before to long I found exactly what I needed, although I could have spent more it was a little more than I personally wanted to spend I was offered a discount. Daniels unpressuring and sales style was refreshing, Didn't try and sell me insurance that wasn't necessary or with any hidden fine print. Tims is a family owned business and I drove away in my new vehicle feeling like part of that family. Thank you all for a great buying experience in what was a cold and windy day.

Bought a car from Michael & Daniel on the 6th April. The sale went smoothly but 6 weeks after the sale, my car was not in my name. Called them and spoke to a Carol or Carolyn, and was given the excuse of "Easter holidays are delaying the process" and to ring back in 2 weeks. I rang Vic roads straight after, and they advised me that it wouldn't take that long. I checked 2 weeks later to see if my car was in my name, and the excuse I was given by the same lady was, "Oh we have someone on our behalf that takes care of the Vic Roads registering and that it could take 4-6 weeks to process. At this stage I was not happy at all, as I was waiting for the registration in the mail. Early this month, my car was still NOT in my name.... yet again I was given excuse after excuse..... I was told that I would receive a phone call the next day, to be advised as to why it was not in my name..... I never received a phone call, and had to have my husband call and speak to Michael or Daniel, who had no idea this was happening to chase this up for us. FINALLY the next day being the 8th June, my car was FINALLY in my name. I would not recommend these people to anyone.

Daniel has been wonderful so far and has made purchasing a car during lockdown significantly less stressful. He has been upfront with a few issues with the vehicle which he will rectify and worked with us to come up with an agreed price that we ALL were happy with. Communication has been fantastic and purchase and paperwork process has been simple. We looked at a lot of cars and spoke to a lot of dealers, but very happy we made this call. All issues fixed and car in tip top condition. Whole process was a breeze and communication 5 star.

I patronised Tim’s Highway Cars in late February 2019. Daniel had a fairly striking VX2 V8 Holden Calais for sale that I ended up purchasing. Right from the first phone call he was personable and reasonably flexible. I ended up having an independent mechanical inspection completed and he was very accommodating through that process; moreover, the car in question received a great report. I didn’t detect any of the stereotypical pushy car sales tactics and attitudes at this dealership. In fact, it’s a fairly laid back environment without comprising on professionalism, and I certainly don’t have any hesitations in recommending this car dealership if you are in the market for a quality car.

Got my IS200, very happy with my purchase. Although I would’ve liked a better deal as the rego was only 1 month until I could renew it and having no previous service history the price should’ve been slightly lower. I did get $500 off but $800-$1000 off would’ve been a better happier deal for me especially since as stated above. As it is a bit of a difficult car to find at the moment, I am glad that I still got it. Very friendly service but understandable that it didn’t go lower as it’s quite high demand at the moment. I enquired first and although someone came just before I got there, they had to wait until I saw the car which is very respectful on their part. Thank you! 4.5/5 ⭐️

I was looking for a car online, and came across Tim’s Highway Cars. I found a car, I was interested in and sent an enquiry. My enquiry was answered within 15 minutes and Daniel, was happy to bring the car I was interested in down to the Mornington Peninsula, from Ringwood in the evening. I took the car for a test drive and was very impressed. I could not have asked for better service. Got my 2008 xtrail from them 05/2019 Was my first car and still is , have not missed a beat Every other car salesman was vulture like but them. I don’t remember the gentleman I dealt with but he was lovely right from the start. Came with a free 3 year warranty and in those 3 years I did 7 years worth of driving. Only used the warrant on transmission and that’s Nissans fault. 100% recommended these guys, would love to purchase another car from them if needed.

Lovely person... However. I did a vin number check. Which cost me $40.00. I took the vehicle to a professional mechanic who said it was leaking oil and needs new brake pads, so again, a further $548.00.. Not to be trusted. But if you do, get a vin number check 1st Thank you

Fantastic service and the car was reasonably priced. Very genuine people. Met both Daniel and Carol and thorough explanations were given to us from both of them throughout the whole process. They even delivered the car to us as we don't live too far away.
