This is my favorite hotspot on 17th Ave! During the summer, there is Saturday's on 17th which hosts live music, free face painting, bouncy houses, outdoor games, and more. Now they had there first ever farmer's market and it was a hit with free caricatures and henna! The tree's are beautiful and large, like being under a canopy. Always a pleasure stopping here to eat on a bench or pet a local dog out for a walk.

This is a beautiful park nestled in a desirable location which is ruined by the constant car noise of jerks revving their engines driving back and fourth up 17 Ave. The city needs to pedestrianize 17th already, it is time. If not the entire street, then this section specifically could be greatly improved without the inhaling diesel exhaust and having your conversations drowned out by constant car noise.

Nice park, very popular and active spot.perfect location if u want to sit, relax and enjoy to watch people walking, its right at 17 ave, which in summer u can enjoy lots of beautiful sports cars we have in town. On Sunday there will be music in the afternoon, there is always a band playing. u will also have options for drinks around the park since there are plenty of coffee shops

It's a great place next to many stores. Actually, you can always hear car's noise and music from other placee, so It's not the best place to visit when you are looking for a calm place. I think this is the perfect spot when you want to sit for a while after shopping from nearby stores or when you want to eat your lunch after buying it from a nearby restaurant.

Good place to sip your coffee or eat your to-go purchase from one of the nearby restaurants. I wouldn't come here if you don't want to bump into someone you know. It's a good place to people watch and there's even a public bathroom. It's right in the center of 17th ave, so the people hanging out here are pretty vibrant and eclectic.

Wonderful place to hang out in the summer. They have free activities for all ages at least 3 days a week. It is also a very pleasant place to sit down and enjoy a coffee either in the shade or under the summer sun

Great green space in the city beltline. There are lots of food options, coffee shops, and dessert places all within walking distance. You will find music and entertainment throughout the summer months.

Shade, benches, grass with everyone chatting and relaxed. Public washroom available. Street Cuts was there today giving haircuts for donations and will be there every 2nd Sunday ❤ …

Very nice spot in the center of the city. Great for chilling in the summer, and of you are lucky, if the gazebo has a performance happening, you should stay and check it out for a while.

I'm here on most sunny days with my coffee and water...its close to everything which is good...except for the noisy motorbikes it would be peaceful.. too noisy to enjoy the park..

I love the vibes of this park. Whenever we visited this place someone would be playing music which is the main attraction. But there are lots of homeless people around the park.

It's a pretty nice park and is nice at night too. Someone was sleeping in the washroom and I had to pee really bad, so I had to hold it. Other than that, great little park!

I enjoy the park year round. Many times for me it's a destination for strolling down 17th coming from the west end of 17th. Love the atmosphere especially in summer.

Simple and pretty wuth great opportunities for people-watching. Close to lots of great stuff and a great place to cool down once to get tired of shopping/drinking.

Under heavy construction ATM but is a lively and diverse place to meet or watch or chill for a sesh of hackie sack. Lots of authority presence to be mindful of too

Beautifull park!! Its a great location right in the middle of the city and it is just a great place to hangout and spend your lunch or sometime on the weekend

Gorgeous, well kept green space overlooking downtown! I went to do photos, but as there is an off leash area I'll definitely bring my pup sometime!

It's the heart of 17 Ave SW. There's almost always people there. I like this park. It's small but big enough to accommodate lots of people.

Wonderful park to walk your dog. People watch. Local buskers almost every day. Sit and listen to music. Or dance 8f your heart tells you to

Not a family orientated park. Alot of show offy people around in a rush to really be able to relax with my toddler. But that's the location

The only interesting thing about this place is that you can hang around after having food at one of the close by many restaurants

An island of green in the bustle of 17 ave. We visited here for a stampede breakfast and had a great time. Nice park.

Central park on 17th nice seating, David's tea across the street, high tech toilet. 3 pokemon go gyms.

A lot of public activities going here almost daily, but for sure it needs more nice landscaping

The best public toilet in town. That's not saying much . Look out for each other and be kind.
