I’ve been avoiding this petrol station for years now because of the petrol attendant’s attitude, lack of motivation. When you fill up here . I spend nothing less then R1 500 per tank per week but they will not offer, to check oil and water, tyre pressure or wash your windscreen. They will just stand by the petrol ⛽️ tank till it reaches R1 500 and come back to your side with card machine. Well after years of avoiding it, this morning I was in a hurry and this garage was on my way to my destination so I said, you “know what since it’s not busy let me just pass and put some fuel” worst mistake, same attitude, nothing has changed at all. They are still short staffed, not prepared to do more than pour fuel ⛽️. I give up. The petrol attendants need to be retrained, monitored and disciplined. The only positive thing I could say, is the staff working inside the shop are always friendly and respectful especially the black young gentleman. He has been there for years and still has the same respectful attitude.

Service is bad. Staff Don't act professionally. The garage has deteriorated. Needs a revamp. Very disorganised. We used to always fill up at this garage when we used to visit the mall. However, the past 2 years have not been the same. We had an incident where a petrol attendant took their sweet time to walk up to us and service us. When we asked why is having this attitude towards their job , he laughed. We asked for the manager. He brought another petrol attendant and said he is the manager. They had the exact same uniform, and we questioned it. They spoke in their native language and ignored us. I can't remember their names. It was a disgraceful display of leadership. We have not gone to the establishment since.

Service is great and staff are very friendly and offer more than just refueling the car, got windscreen and back window washed! The place gets busy in the mornings for coffee and after work between 4 and 6. Total is surrounded by restaurants and has a 24hr Mugg & Bean inside the convenient store which makes the best White Mocha from all other branches. The staff remembers my order and starts with it as soon as I walk in! Convenient store is a bit pricey, about R35 for a 2l milk. Limited items but does have the usuals like milk, coffee, sugar, bread, pies, etc. The store has Nedbank ATM inside.

I visited Total Gateway today at 12;45 for lunch. While looking for a parking I stopped in front of your security van in the parking to wait for a spot 2 guards in plain cloths, from the van, then approached me and started pushing me around and hitting my vehicle with something in their hands. Saying I cant park there. I tried explaining, but they were too crazy to reason with. Is this the way TOTAL handle regular customers ? This security Co (pic att) is dangerous and should be removed from your site before they get themselves killed. I had every right to defend myself and shoot them both

Outstanding service received today by the night shift staff I am a regular here and the staff are always friendly and always willing to go the extra mile for assistance the staff in the store as well always provide excellent service and they have built a good rapport with me over the years and will continue to patronize this establishment the attendants are awesome and need to keep up this up as I feel it's lacking in other locations. But total umhlanga is awesome

Worst Total I've been to. I only fill at total and this was my 1st and last at this garage. Filled a full tank and asked to check Tyre pressure as it was raining and I didn't want any issues on the road. Getting home I park off . The next morning my Tyre is deflated. Took it for repairs , the attendant broke the valve when filling air thus causing my Tyre to leak. Lucky I went straight home imagine something happening on the n2 in a storm will never visit again

I am so disappointed. Yesterday i had bought expired Simba chips. My daughter asks me why i bought her expired chip when she started eating them this morning . Now im thinking of the cheese naks i had ate at work without checking expiry date even though they were not fresh i even mentioned it to your cashier but took the cheese naks n cooldrinks anyways

I waited almost 5 minutes to fill fuel.. Not assisted by anyone, finally a petrol attendant approached the car asked if we've been assisted, we said no we still waiting, he looked at us and walked away, furious we drove off saying we said we have not been helped and he looked at us again and ignored us... PATHETIC SERVICE!

Thank you Zakhele for the exceptional service. It was refreshing to have him apologise for us waiting, even though it was a very short wait. He also proceeded to wash our windscreens and windows without us asking. Keep up the excellent service Zakhele.

This morning one member of the staff directed some very inappropriate comments towards my girlfriend and her female friend after they asked about the availability of a bathroom. Very disappointed as I use this garage often and usually enjoy the staff.

I would like to commend Eric Sikhlane for the excellent service I received at pump 12 today. He was extremely helpful, having noticed that the dipstick was rusting, and removing dried leaves stuck in the bonnet of my car. Well done, young man!

I go out of my way to avoid this petrol station. Today I stop to try give this place a try again. Staff have an attitude and they are either understaffed or the staff are really slow. My opinion if you want convenience go somewhere else.

The cashier( Patients ) by name and the pump attendants are denying us our right to swipe our Dischem loyalty cards and instead are swiping their own Dischem cards. This is happening at most Total garages.

no service at all waited for like 20 min while attendants were both busy on their phones . got out to try and signal but the guy just looked at me and continued with his phone....very sickening service

Absolute horrible Garage you wait forever to be fueled up and your cellphone or laptop gets stolen out of your car even when car locked and Enforce security cant see anything on their cameras

Yoh I've never been so disrespect by someone more than a attendant called Phumlani tomorrow morning I expect a written apology specifically yoh that guy ruined my night

Gentlemen that are working at Total have 5 star service all of them. One day i had a flat battery wanted to call my sister they assisted and made sure i was safe

Very slow service Always busy Parking is almost always a problem There is a debonairs Steers , mug and bean and galitos And Oceans fish and chips

Popped in just to correct tyre pressure and received very good, friendly service from the attendant.
