I stumbled into this TJ's on a rainy Saturday evening because I was in the area pressed for time, making it impossible to drive to my usual store on East Arbors Dr. Needless to say, I was happy to have made it before closing time in order to purchase my Easter dinner meal items. I solicited assistance from Jodi and Ryan to grab a few items, which led to cooking conversations. After swapping recipes and pleasantries, I made my way to checkout. Just before my exit, Ryan rushed over with a nice gift with a cute little note attached, which made my day! Because I was unable to share my meal, I am sharing pictures. The homemade (non dairy, vegan) halal white sauce and chimi churri outshined the lamb. Thanks for the tips! While Trader Joe's is my go-to for affordable, fresh groceries and treats, this level of service and engagement is the primary reason why I remain a repeat customer. I have yet to patronize a Trader Joe's that didn't feel like "Cheers", where everybody knows your name and they're always glad you came. Thank you for the wonderful experience!
Absolutely love this place my favorite grocery store chain in town. They hire nice people, train them well. They produce is always fresh, delicious. They are local product conscious, i love their craft local beers. Unfortunately, they do lose relationships with a lot of good produce providers. They discontinued their wet dog food just as I got a puppy. Not cool! There's a giant dog community here in town they need to bring at least one option back. Their organic meets are a note bit over what I am able to afford, so i was happy to find 4 organic chicken legs for $3.50 today!!! I'm upset about them raising their prices on their mineral glass bottled water. We live off that stuff. So, now i go to other local places that offer them for less. I hope they start carrying more vegan milk, cheese and meat substitutes. They were out of soy creamer today. They didn't have vegan cheese blocks. Overall, I'll literally refuse to move farther because I do not wish to live to far from a Trader Joe's. Thank you so much for everything you do!
ive never had a trader joe experience like the one i experienced on rea road. im not the type to leave reviews, but the poor customer service of this establishment was disappointing. i feel like there’s a common understanding that trader joe’s is a preferred shopping location, due to the amazing customer service and welcoming atmosphere. I was “helped” by cashier of the name of Lynn. she was very rude and snarky. she made the whole vibe in the store quite frankly uncomfy. it is true that one bad experience can shape an opinion and i will never be shooing at the trader joe’s rea location again due to this poor interaction. i hope in the future, this location prioritizes customer service and is more careful about the people they choose to be the face for the trader joe’s brand.
Although they don't carry as much as a supermarket, they have a produce section and also carry lots of specialty items that you won't find anywhere else. One of my favorite items I cannot find anywhere else is a lavender, exfoliating soap made in France. It's just amazing,! Also liver dog treats, made with 100% healthy ingredients. I can walk into the store, not really needing anything, yet walk out with having spent $50. They have great instant meals in their frozen section. It's a great store.
It's Trader Joe's! How can you not love them?! The employees are pleasant and professional! This shopping center is busy and parking is not the greatest so take that into consideration. It's best to go on a weekday or early on the weekends to snag the good stuff before it's all gone! This location is near a greenway so you can go for a run before or after your TJ adventures.
I have always loved this store, except for the lack of parking... but they really have no control over that. I wanna commend this location for their floral department. I made wedding centerpieces for my daughter’s wedding this past Sunday and Trader Joe’s flowers held up amazing and I got many compliments!! Thanks for helping make her day a little more special!!
I love Trader Joe's. I always frequent them in any major city I visit. This location has friendly staff that provides great food suggestions. It was jam packed with people, but the staff was efficient in moving the line. The parking lot is too small for the crowd - exiting and entering is a little precarious due the rush. Have fun shopping!
Love the novel varieties here. Prices are very reasonable and the staff is always courteous. My only complaint would be the layout as the aisles are not very wide and the products don't always make sense for placement i.e. seasonal treats placed above frozen food on the same aisle. I never feel as if I can take my time and browse.
From the many and varied flower bouquets at great prices to the best fresh fruit anywhere, Trader Joe's delights the senses! And the ready to heat hors d'oeuvre never fail to provide creative and gourmet treats to please the pickiest of guests. I even find the cashiers to be friendly, funny and seemingly to like their jobs!
I’ve given Trader Joe’s a five star review even though the corporate company should be rated a one star do the garbage parking at every single one of their locations. Just kidding Trader Joe’s is awesome. They have a ton of great food and great prices and the staff is as bad as nice as you could be.
The entire experience was extremely pleasant from the store manager all the way to the lady in the bread section who was super knowledgeable about the breads, and we cannot leave out Jack. He was who rang us up, and actually followed us out to the car and helped us unpack our buggy… 5/5!!!!
What can I say? The products, the employees, the produce, prices are all great. My only gripe is about the many products disappearing from the shelves to be replaced by something else. I have shopped at TJ's for 30 years and have seen many
As always a crowded store with few parking spots. A lot of unique and specialty items. Prices match item uniqueness. Overall the store is clean and organized with sufficient staff performing customer service.
I LOVE TJ. The lemongrass coconut body oil is SO LUXURIOUS! I guess I'm not the only one that thinks so! Next time I'll stock up! Also, the Bruschetta, used on sliced French bread, makes an AWESOME appetizer
We love Trader Joe's really but why do we have to drive almost 90 minutes to Charlotte or 80 minutes to Asheville to shop? Hickory NC would be a great location and it's demographics support a Trader Joe's.
I love Trader Joe's! Employees at this location are always so friendly and helpful. The plant and flower selection is excellent, not to mention to the "TJ's finds" that other grocers do not carry.
Its one of my favorite store..variety of chocos, bread, Salad, yogurt and specially lot of Indian food options available here. Employees are friendly and suggest items while buying..
The staff were all friendly and made me feel confortable shopping. I was satisfied with the recommendations they gave me. I thoght it was indeed a representative US grocery store.
Getting in and out is my biggest complaint. very busy store in a very small shopping center. Otherwise great store. Love love love their flowers. …
This is a very sad place because of the customers. I have never been to a place that has such sour faced patrons. I have witnessed more smiles at funerals than I did at this.
Love this store. Wished they didn't add folic acid to so many flour products though. That limits me to their veggies, fruits etc. And more parking spots would be awesome
I only ever go on a quiet weekday afternoon and park around back. I wish they had a larger space and/or more locations. Still worth braving the crowd for the garlic dip.
Not a large store, but all you need, great quality and reasonable prices. Often busy, but the friendly staff get customers through checkout quickly. Excellent.
That’s our go to grocery stores lots new options to try every few months. Their frozen food tastes really good. Cheese section and wine section is great too.
I love the store, but it's items are a little on the pricey side, but it's got an amazing amount of rare, but delicious treats, savory and sweet!!
They always have a decent selection of items. The store is great but the parking is horrible. Due to that I hardly ever go
Come here every week. Great variety of foods and wonderful customer service. Wish to have a bigger car parking space.
Great customer service. Parking is always a pain but that isn't the businesses fault. Love Trader Joe's!
Large variety of fresh foods and Gluten-free products. Very friendly, very organized. Love this place!!
