Utterly useless - I can't believe that their outdated business model survives. They're expensive, awkward to deal with, and significantly more expensive than just booking the trip yourself. I was given a Trailfinders gift card to use, so started looking for a holiday. As Trailfinders don't have an actual interactive web site (it's 2018!) and I didn't want to spend hours on the phone I ended up planning a trip using online travel sites. When I'd got together everything I wanted, I called Trailfinders to book it. Phone call number one: "Oh I'm sorry, our system doesn't allow us to book that airline. We can book most airlines, but not [airline X]" So I go back to an online travel site and re-arrange the trip to use a different airline. The trip is now costing more than if I had booked directly with Expedia, Opodo, etc. Phone call number two: "Oh I'm sorry, our system doesn't allow us to book that airline, either. We can book most airlines, but not [airline Y]. We do have availability on [airline Z] for those dates though." Great, I thought. Airline Z would do. I ask how much the trip is, and I'm given a price that is no less than three times what online travel sites are displaying for the same flights and hotel. Why is this? I give up booking the trip with Trailfinders and book it directly with Expedia. I still have the gift card to use, however, and call Trailfinders to just book the car rental. Phone call number three: "Car rental? No problem. And you have a gift card? Great. Do you have the PIN number for the gift card?". I can't see a pin number, so I ask where this PIN number is located. "It's on the scratch-off panel". The card doesn't have a scratch off panel. "Oh, it'll be on the receipt then". I don't have the receipt - it's a gift card, which was gifted to me, so why would I have the receipt? Why would the gifter give me their receipt? "I'm afraid you can't use the gift card without the PIN". I gave up and threw the gift card away. I had three wasted phone calls, a lot of wasted time and a lot of hassle. After my experience I wouldn't give this company the time of day, let alone any actual money. Having to call up everytime just to make simple enquiries is ridiculous and a system that has been replaced in nearly the entirety of the travel industry by something called the 'Internet'. I suspect the only reason Trailfinders haven't adopted this 'new' technology is because it would show just how uncompetitive they are.

Excellent customer service. I have just booked a trip to Australia, stopping in Bangkok and Koh Samui on route for a few days. The initial representative Michael was very patient and created a perfect package for me, tweaking it several times at my request, and even lowering the price as flight pricing changed. Then Orsa helped finalise the trip, and helped book the perfect seats when hearing I was very tall. I checked the pricing online and through a competitor and found TrailFinders to be very competitive. Overall I can highly recommend and will use again in the future. *** An update after completing the trip they organised. Everything ran very smoothly and the transfers they organised were excellent. One small issue with the TrailFinders representative on one of the islands sending me strange messages and then deleting them, including asking me out for drinks, in the early hours of the morning. And whilst comical for a while soon became tiresome, and can still wholeheartedly recommend the company and their services.

I recently booked a holiday to south america for next year, and Nick England was great, he listened to what i wanted and delivered it all at a great price!! He even made me a lovely cup of tea!! Ive used Trailfinders before to visit Japan, South Korea, Kuala Lumpur, Vietnam, Cambodia, Phillipines, and numerous places in Thailand and every holiday has been excellent and at very good prices too. Nick England is a credit to your Birmingham branch. Can't wait to pop in to see Nick again to book my Australia and New Zealand trip. Thanks again Nick.

Superb!! We have just been in to book our honeymoon. Lucy helped us create a bespoke trip to cover everything on our wishlist: city, lakes, mountains and beach. She was extremely patient and very helpful. She offered lots of suggestions and listened to what we wanted and has helped book the perfect trip. All flights transfers sorted as well as a couple of excursions and car hire. Really excellent service and we are both so happy, I'd definitely recommend trailfinders!

In these troubled times, when travelling anywhere is a challenge, a big thank you to the Trailfinders Team (especially Roschine) for organising our trip to Malta where we could meet up with our family for the first time in more than eighteen months. The plan came together! Superb hotel (as recommended by Trailfinders), a good flight and no lengthy waits at the airport. As is always the case, the Trailfinders staff were friendly and very professional.

We booked our recent month long trip to India through Trailfinders after visiting the Birmingham branch. We were fortunate enough to meet Katie on our first visit, and she dealt with our holiday planning from start to finish. I had a fairly clear idea of what we wanted to see and do in India, but she had lots of suggestions and was knowledgeable, flexible, and above all friendly. Our trip exceeded expectations. best agents around... only had one bad experience out of many when someone told me over the phone it was £70 for a taxi from the rasa ria in Borneo to the airport and when i called back the price had halved!?... but seriously I've lost count of how many times these guys have been awesome (special shout out to Teresa in the Birmingham branch) and have even stayed behind after work to help me out.. Mr Gooley give your staff a pat on the back :))

I love Trailfinders which is why I return to them time after time. On this occasion it was to book us some extra days for sightseeing built around an already booked river cruise. They excelled on finding us flights and accommodation at a really good price, adding advice and guidance where they could. Daniel is to be commended for his customer care. My travel companion from Australia was well impressed by the travel plan he devised for us.

This is one of the best places to book a holiday, especially one that is a little different from the norm. The staff are really helpful and patient and once you give them an idea of what type of holiday you're after, you are given numerous options to ponder! Nothing was too much trouble, I was looking for a possible safari holiday, I now have some thinking and dreaming to do!!! Nothing appears to be too much of a problem, well done!

My wife and I visited this place to check our options to travel to Paris. We were treated with patience and care; although, we did not buy the tickets from them in the end. We then checked online prices, and we noticed the prices in the agency were around 20% higher than online ones. To some extent, it makes sense as staff, place and facilities costs money; however, I really did not expect this much of commission.

Very poor. I acted on the advice they offered & booked a holiday for my family, this coming August to New York. However, the same holiday now is approximately £4,000 cheaper !!!! The advice they gave me wasn't correct. Really regret using them. I have been today that there is nothing they can do, as I booked in January, but they conveniently overlook the fact I trusted their advice & acted on that.

Booked with Trailfinders bham a number of times and they allways give an excellant friendly service. My recent booking with Cassie who was friendly, polite and helpfull and called me back at times that had been promised and worked on flights to get me the best possible times and price. Trailfinders have earned there reputation has one of the better if not the best at what they do.

Great place to plan your big trip. Staff have very good knowledge about a range of places. Just wish you were able to book a slot with a specific member of staff. We have been in 3 times and had to use 3 different members of staff, not helpful. We find a young lady named Heather to be very good with a great knowledge of New Zealand.

Excellent service. We went in to book a holiday in the Rockies with a broad outline of what we were looking for. The representative Chris Stokes took a lot of time over finding a plan that best suited our requirements. He could not have been more helpful. The holiday we have now booked is an improvement on our original thoughts.

I would like to say a big thank you to Laura and Rebekah. During the pandemic I had to reschedule a few times mainly because of USA borders were closed. They saved me money and gave first class customer service. I am a frequent traveller and had the best customer service ever.

This is our 4th trip booked with these guys, they are brilliant. We tend to find a generic holiday idea but then like to adapt parts of it to more what suits us and they haven't let us down ever. Also surprisingly good prices for great flights and great accommodations.

We went here to book long haul flights and accommodation for next years holiday. They are very knowledgeable and can tailor your needs exactly. We were very impressed with the results of their labours as we got the holiday we wanted.

Tried 3 separate days to phone them and all had waits over 20 min.. booked direct with airline and saved over £1k compared to their Web results.. concerned they are running a skeleton staff number with inflated prices..

I have used this company for longer than I care to remember! Always excellent service, never do long haul without them! Always helpful, always thorough and I always feel safer knowing I have their backing wherever I go.

Misleading description, didn’t get what I asked for. Customer service department unresponsive. Hotel I stayed in was unsafe and did not have drinking water.
