I was persuaded to write a positive review early on when my experience was (mostly positive). Now 8 months later the only thing that deserves a star at this facility is the physical space and location; the trainers that were there quit and/or were quietly removed and management did nothing to explain through any sort of formal communication (meanwhile they have no problems texting or emailing everyone their CrossFit marketing propaganda or reminders when you haven’t been to the gym in a few days). I was disappointed to find out by word of mouth that the morning coach resigned (no announcement) and there was also no announcement of the member-turned-intern-turned-coach’s permanent installment. More recently and most upsetting, the only Latinx coach (from the original group when I started) was let go and management again did nothing to notify or explain. She was an excellent relationship builder and given it’s Pilsen and many of the clients are Hispanic/Latinx, it’s overall very disappointing. All of the reasons (people) I enjoyed this gym have disappeared, for which reason I will not be renewing an already pricey rate (one year commitment for unlimited classes at $59 /week) when my contract ends this summer. Do yourself a favor and find a more affordable space that compensates its staff well and sees its members as community, not cash buckets to sell re-packaged weight loss/wellness/nutrition programs to — further enabling the exploitative nature of the health & wellness industry. EDIT: less than one month after updating this review the second coach quit for a new role and the replacement coach had to quit for personal reasons. The gym hours have also been reduced in half.

I was looking for a place in between a Crossfit gym and a HIIT/boot camp class, and Transformation Fitness sits right in the middle. I like that we do heavy lifts and functional conditioning as part of every class (and if Jill is leading the class you do an ab finisher as a bonus.) And if you are so inclined they have a leaderboard if that's what you like for motivation. Speaking of Jill, she leads a great class. She is engaging, positive, and keeps the class fun (and light-hearted). I am also impressed that she knows everyone's name that walks in the door. She is helping me focus on my goals by giving me some exercise modifications in preparation for a fitness event. You're awesome Jill!! For me, it is very important that my form is correct when doing any heavy lifting. Drew and Jill are constantly walking the room to make sure everyone is lifting safely and giving advice to improve their form, and of course making sure everyone is having fun. I also like the positive gym vibe from everyone that works out there. You can tell there is camaraderie among your classmates. They also do monthly activities with members to keep the good vibes going. I want to make sure I acknowledge Drew. When I first met with him I mentioned some elbow pain. He quickly educated me on why I was having that pain, and then proceeded to work on my arm to loosen the muscles around the elbow which in turn decreased my pain. Now I know what I need to do to rid myself of that pain. Thanks Drew.

I joined transformation fitness because I have been struggling to lose weight on my own. No matter how hard I tried I just kept gaining weight and this left me feeling quite unhealthy and unhappy. I signed up for the three week challenge and started on August 17th. At the beginning of the challenge, I weighed 157 pounds and at the end I weighed myself and was at 151 pounds!! I have safely lost 6 pounds during these three weeks of working out with transformation fitness. I plan to continue working out with them because of the great results!! I would also say that this is a very supportive environment. I think the coaches are really great at explaining, adapting excercises and very motivating. They take the time to get to know you and I appreciate that! They also answer all my questions when I notice things going on with my body like soreness and such! The members of transformation fitness are also very sweet! I see myself making friends with the folks that I work out with. Every member that I have met has been very kind and supportive. We all support and motivate each other during the workouts and I think this is also contributing to my success! They are also good with covid 19 guidelines! Workout sessions are kept to only 8 people at a time and everyone has to wear a mask. So ultimately if you are looking for a place to workout and work towards your fitness goals I highly recommend transformation fitness.

I just finished the 6 week challenge with Transformation Fitness and am excited about continuing my exercise & health journey with this gym. When I was looking to change my lifestyle and eating habits I truly appreciated Drew's responsiveness when I sent a simple request. This has continued throughout the 6 weeks with both Drew and Jill along with support, encouragement and accountability, which I needed more than I knew. Jill has a way of making the classes fun and pushing us to reach our goals without being too intense. I also have found a new love in lifting weights and Jill teaches you the importance of it in everyday life. After about 4 weeks I surprisingly started looking forward to the classes. Now to the results, as Drew said in the beginning, if you follow the plan it will work...and it DOES!! I've done several exercise plans over the years but I would always plateau, no matter how often I exercised. The missing piece was the nutrition, which made all the difference for me. The meal plan was a game changer for me and it has also helped me think about food differently and have a better understanding of why I was eating so much junk prior to starting the program. I highly recommend Transformation Fitness for all of your fitness needs, be it working out, nutrition or a combination of both. You won't regret it!

If you are looking for a gym that offers you a true program of transformation, then this is the place. Drew and Jill are outstanding coaches and encouragers on the journey. The classes are well-balanced for steady progress on your goals - mainly good health, strength, endurance, good nutrition, and energy throughout your day. I went there to first participate in the 6 week challenge. This program was a big success for me personally for several reasons. Renewed my commitment to working out and they made it fun and positive with the right mix of work on flexibility, strength and endurance. Second, I am meeting some truly great positive people - and Jill (the primary class leader) is a great human being, a wonderful role model, and truly cares for and encourages those in the class. Third, I am steadily getting stronger, adding tone to my muscles again (at 63), able to run longer and ride my bike further, and am lowering my body fat. As I age (as I said 63), I want to stay strong. This program has me hooked and I will be staying at the gym to continue to participate in classes and grow stronger, healthier and happier with my own body. And ... their program works! I see everyone benefitting and commenting on how good it is.

After 2 years of not working out in a gym (was only doing at home workouts) I decided to get back into a gym. Transformation Fitness has everything I was looking for in a gym that fits my needs and goals. The coaches are great and really know how to motivate me, push me and make sure to work with anyone that needs modifications or assistance. While I have done weight workouts before, these workouts were new to me, but the coaches took their time to explain everything and assisting me to get started. In a matter of weeks I started to notice a difference with some weight loss but especially with my strength, each week I am using heavier weights and completing more sets/reps. I also did the 1:1 nutrition program with Drew which helped me realize a lot about the way I was eating, sleeping and lack of hydration. Drew provided me with the tools to make smarter and healthier choices. He motivated me to make the necessary adjustments to everyday things to help reach my goals. Transformation Fitness has helped me get back on track to a healthier and active way of living and I look forward to what new fitness/lifestyle goals I will achieve with them! See you at the gym!

CrossFit Commitment is about a mile away from where I live, so I'd been curious to try it for a couple years before I finally gave it a shot. They were running a 6 week challenge promotion and at the time, I was needing a nudge to shake up my fitness routine so I decided to go for it. The 6 week challenge proposes that you lose either 20 lbs OR 5% body fat. In order to keep you accountable you put down a hefty deposit. If you meet your goal you get your money back. Guess what? I didn't meet my goal. What I did lose: 12 lbs (157lbs down to 145lbs) and 4 percent body fat lost. Most importantly I lost many of my sugar junk food cravings from eating whole foods and following the nutrition plan; sluggishness; and any doubts I had about keeping a regular workout routine. Working out regularly is essential to my mental and emotional health and the gang (staff and other members) at CrossFit Commitmen are very welcoming, patient and encouraging, especially to newcomers. I loved my experience so much that I signed up as a full time member after I completed the challenge. Highly recommend.

I had been working on my weight loss journey for about a year, focusing just on reducing my calorie intake. I have been successful in my efforts, but I had started to plateau, and I knew I needed to start exercising to really reinvigorate my losses again. I passed this gym every day on my way to work, and had liked what I saw: small classes, people supporting each other, and what looked like people having fun. When I saw the 6-week challenge, I knew this was my opportunity to get in on it too. Drew and Ricardo helped me adjust my macros to get the most out of my meals, and though interrupted by the stay at home order, my time at the gym was very enjoyable, and I can't wait to go back once they reopen. That didn't stop them though! They held online classes for at-home workouts, and checked in with me, not just about my workouts, but how my mental space was as well in this exceedingly unusual time. I've never had that level of care from a gym, and didn't think to look for it. 10/10 this place is great!

Transformation Fitness is a great gym. I have been a member for about 9 weeks and so far have lost 10 + pounds. The coaches are knowledgeable, friendly, and caring. I had so many fears prior to joining this gym. Transformational Fitness will help you fight your fears and is full of others who are fighting alongside you. The gym is very Covid-19 safe and has respected all statewide protocols. The bathrooms are always clean and equipment is wiped down by gym-goers after every session. If there are any announcements that affect workout hours, gym-goers are informed through Wodify, our fitness management software, email, and text. I am so happy I joined this gym. I am constantly challenged to try my hardest. Since joining, my arms have become more toned and I am feeling more confident about my physique. I keep raving about this gym to family and friends because of the support I have gotten from the coaches and owners. If you are on the fence about joining, stop hesitating, do it!! Health is wealth. :)

Join this amazing gym! Chances are if you are looking at the reviews, you are interested in working out, getting fit, trying something new, etc. Don't waste anymore time reading reviews, just sign up at Crossfit Commitment! I signed up and did the 6 week challenge and it has changed my life for the better and I have actually lost weight and am becoming more fit. The workouts are great as they can be modified for all fitness levels so you will always feel like you are being challenged without feeling left out. Don't worry if you are a beginner or new to working out (like me), there will always be a coach to teach you! I also just come in without having to think about what I should exercise as they have it all planned out for you. In and out in an hour for all you busy folks, with a range of class times to fit your schedule! The coaches and other Crossfit members are super friendly and will help and support you during the workouts.

I remember scrolling on FB and seeing Franco’s post about a 6-week challenge. I was in a place in my life where I wanted to pick myself up again and improve my mental health. I used to go to the gym consistently and fell completely off and landed 100 miles away. Imagine working out 5 days a week to completely stopping for 2 years then getting back on a rigid schedule? IT’S TOUGH. I’ve never done crossfit before but this was a great and challenging experience. I loved having a meal plan and checking in with coaches. It strengthened my discipline and made me get back into being active! This program helped me see what I was capable of and also made me realize how much work I need to put forth to see results. I was able to lose inches off my waist, back, and even decreased my body fat percentage. Shout out to Drew, Franco, Danny, and Ricardo for being such great motivators! I’m glad to still be part of Crossfit commitment!

Hello my name is Jesus , I really recommend Transformation Fitness because it’s a great area, organized, clean and its coaches are great people and very professional in their work. In this place you will meet people that will make you feel welcome and enjoying being there. The work material , the exercise routines, absolutely everything is very good, the way they encourage you to give your best it is Absolutely awesome . I took my first three weeks of training with Coach Nate and they were very good, very productive, the enthusiasm, passion, and motivation that he puts into each day of training shows that he is giving 100% of his work to help you improve your physical state. The last two weeks with Coach Drew were also very productive, learning more every day the way in which he drives us to give that extra is truly extraordinary, it shows us that we can do much more. I had been wanting to try this gym for sometime since it’s local and always looked like fun inside, but gym intimidation constantly stopped me. I was then tagged on FB to try their 6 week challenge so I thought why not?? I was chosen to be apart of the challenge in March and have loved everyday!! The gym is very clean it’s one of the first things you notice when you walk in. The atmosphere is very energetic and welcoming which is such a important factor when you’re trying something new. The staff is absolutely committed to their creed and are with you every step of the way. I’ve seen results toward my goal in such a short amount of time and I know it’s because they really care about their members. CFC is not just a gym it’s a inclusive community and if you’re looking to try something new to change your lifestyle, have fun and better your health this is the place to start!!

I signed up for the 6-week Transformation Fitness challenge and love it!! I’ve learned so many exercises and I’m still learning more as I signed up again for another 6-weeks. I’ve lost 14-lbs, many inches off of my targeted areas and have gained more sustainable eating habits. The assorted daily class times made it easy to get my workouts in every MWF with times that worked for my schedule. You also have to do 2- 30 minute walks a week which was a breeze for me as I walk 100-miles a month in the summer. Each class is different, so you never get the same routine which makes if both fun and challenging. Drew and Coach Jill are amaZING and I’m so glad I found them… I highly recommend their 6-week challenge which also included an easy to follow meal plan and daily touch base with Coach Jill for accountability. About six weeks ago, an ad for CrossFit Commitment caught my attention. It had been difficult to accept that I was not the same active person I used to be and that chronic back problems were getting the best of me. However, the best decision I have made — in a very long time — was to walk into that gym; I’ve felt understood, supported, challenged, and been held accountable. It’s been fun, it’s been working (getting stronger and leaner), and it’s been safe on my injuries. Most notably, I have seen a similar impact on my mood: I have been calmer, happier, more focused, and more positive. These results are worth it. I truly look forward to going to my workouts there. The compassion of the Crossfit Commitment coaches, the cheering of members for each other, and the commitment of them all to support healthier choices for a better tomorrow is what keeps me going.

I decided to do the 6 week challenge because of the meal plan, guided training sessions, and accountability. I never grew up with the mentality that exercise was important or a priority in my life so I felt I needed all three areas to help me get started. After 6 weeks, not only did I lose 8 pounds and 3.5% body fat, but I was shocked by how much healthier and stronger my body felt in such a quick amount of time. During the training sessions I was worried I wouldn’t be able to keep up but none of the coaches or other gym goers made me feel like that. Everyone is positive and you get to go at your own pace. My confidence grew with every day at the gym and the results become evident quickly. I’m very happy with my decision to do the challenge and I’m looking to stick around longer and see what more I can accomplish with my new fitness goals.

I LOVE THIS GYM! I haven’t worked out in years. And planning our wedding in have in Tulum in November is a big push to get in shape. I love my wedding dress and want to look my best, and be the best version of myself. I started out with the transformation challenge. It was amazing! I lost almost 9 lbs in 6 weeks. The atmosphere and people are great! I was nervous to go but I wasn’t intimidated going at all. Drew, the owner, and Jill are so knowledgeable helpful! I couldn’t ask for a better team. When we bought a house too far to stay with the gym, I am continuing with nutrition coaching with Drew. I’m down 16 lbs and I still have several more weeks in the program. My goal is to lose 20 lbs and I have no doubt I will exceed my goal with his help! I physically, mentally, and emotionally feel better than I have in years!

I highly recommend attending an initial consultation with Drew if you are interested in shifting into a healthier lifestyle this year! worked with Drew as my coach within my individual Transformation program that focuses on nutrition and CrossFit training at Transformation Fitness. He is very knowledgeable when it comes to nutrition, weight loss management, and coming up with customized strategies that fit your routine/lifestyle. He held me accountable throughout the full 12 weeks and we discussed my calorie intake/nutritional metrics to provide data-driven tweaks to my meal plans for the best results. Additionally, I enjoy attending CrossFit classes regularly with Rosa and Astin because they create a personable and comfortable atmosphere while you work out especially when I first started training there.

I had been wanting to try Cross Fit for a while now but was a little intimidated by it. I then came across Cross Fit Commitment. Glad I did. It's not only down the street from my place but the Coaches, facility and community are all great! I like the fact that they offer classes that start as early as 5am. I'm a big fan of attending early morning workouts since it sets the tone for the rest of my day. Being new to cross fit - I enjoy how all of the coaches take their time in showing you proper posture. As the coaches get to know you they also get to know how much you are capable of and they challenge and push you at the same time. I appreciate this. Ever since I started I feel stronger and better. I have been working out consistently for years, got great results, and have always been skeptical of CrossFit; however, it is only right to give credit where credit is due. I did a 6 week challenge program at CrossFit commitment, and although it was frustrating at times (I missed all my delicious foods!), it was truly remarkable. I learned tons of new workouts, started making and eating healthier foods, met some amazing people, and finished the 6 weeks feeling like I’m in the best shape of my life. Drew, Franco and everyone at CrossFit commitment are incredible, and they push you just the right amount to achieve your goals. And if you ever find the time to give their workouts a chance, do so (safely!). I cannot recommend it enough. I promise you, you won’t regret it.

I am honestly amazed by how effective this 21-day program has been. I lost 13.2 lbs in 21 days !! I have been engaged in sports, fitness, and monitoring my diet for many years now, and I have never!! gotten the results that I got from Transformation Fitness. It was not easy, it definitely took work and commitment and saying No when necessary. That said, the meal plan has a lot of really great options, I had more peanut butter in the last 21 days than I have in probably a year! And the class workouts were really engaging especially because the coaches were so awesome. And all in a covid-safe environment. I would recommend this plan to anyone, if you’re serious about results, and are ready to be accountable to yourself, this is it.

Was looking for a new Crossfit gym after my previous one had closed and when I moved into the area. I had passed by CFC several times and figured to just pull the trigger on joining. Started off with the 6 week challenge and have been so happy with that decision. Everyone is incredibly welcoming and the coaches are extremely knowledgeable and passionate at what they do. They encourage and push you to do your best. Perhaps one of the biggest takeaways that I had in doing the 6 week challenge was their ability to be very thorough in teaching the basic fundamentals while also focusing on safety-- even having done Crossfit before, made me really appreciative and have a different positive outlook on it. Recommend for anyone interested :).

I have been a member of the gym for over 1.5 years and while I absolutely love the workouts and training I recently become even more impressed by the comprehensive approach to their training and coaching. I recently (end of April) enrolled in their nutrition planning and through proactive and diligent coaching of Ricardo Valle I was able to reach my goal. I wanted to reduce my body fat and started at ~15.3% and was able to reach my goal of below 12.5% in less than 2 months time. Not only that Ricardo was able to break me from my bad eating habits and create a self-pacing plan that allowed me to achieve results. If you're looking for better nutrition help or a tough (yet fun) workout this gym is the place to be.

This team is the absolute best! I joined cause I needed some real Guidance on how to keep myself healthy under the most stressful and chaotic situations at work and they really stepped up. Not only they helped me understand my body and how to make sustainable lifestyle changes but also helped me by giving me realistic ideas on how to keep these positive behaviors even at the most challenging situations. Weight loss is not easy, and definitely has never been easy for me. But with all the ups and downs (and many plateaus) In the last 3 months I lost my 10lb and I have learned so many things that are now part of my day to day life. If you’d re committed, they are committed to you and your success.

CFC is amazing! All the coaches are super friendly and nice! They keep track of your progress and pay close attention to technique and form. They know exactly how far to push you and do not make it overwhelming. Once the coach caught me pull a muscle and asked if I was okay, which I didn't realize until later that I was hurting. Luckily they have a doctor visit every now and then who was able to help me recover quickly. You can even talk to them about nutrition and meal prep, at a point they would ask me to send pictures of every meal for a week so that they could make sure I was following instructions and make changes if need be. The coaches are super attentive and everyone is super nice!

I dropped in maybe 25-30 times. Friendly members. Seems like a really great community that has a get together once a month. Great location. Rosa (who I have not met) is also very sweet: sending personalized mail and emails. -2 stars purely because of the equipment, price, and salesman nature of Drew. Unless you commit to a one year plan at $59 per week, a weekly plan is as much as $99. I felt very pressured to buy a membership, buy it now, pay for a full year in advance, pay for nutrition consulting, etc. The sales process was uncomfortable. Also the prices did not make sense to me given the lack of equipment. There was no incorporation of row, bike or ski that are common in other gyms.

I started at this gym during the transformation fitness challenge but, I quickly came to realize that this is more of a community; from the coaches who hold you accountable, some of us need this more than others to, the social outings that are scheduled monthly. It's really cool getting to know those you whom you work out with also; you start to look forward to the familiar faces. There's a part towards the end of some of the workouts where you have to roll a die or throw a ball into a colored bucket to dictate how many reps you have to complete, a fun little challenge. I highly recommend this gym no matter what part of the fitness journey you're on!

I am truly happy with the entire CrossFit Commitment Family! My sister had completed a 6 week challenge with them and I saw such great and noticeable results that I became curious and went to an informational. I decided to give it a shot, and honestly it is one of the only programs that has helped me get in shape. Not only did I lose 11 pounds (I'm small framed, so this is a lot) but I lost over 5% body fat in only 6 wks. Everyone here treated me well and were invested in making sure I met my goals. Drew was attentive to my food intake and would check-in with me often! Thanks Drew, Franco and the entire CrossFit Commitment Team!

I took the CrossFit Commitment 6 week challenge back in December. The results over exceeded my expectations and therefore at the end of the 6 weeks I had become a full member. CFC helped me set new PRs and reach my desired BF%. The Instructors are true professionals, very knowledgeable, and have a passion for what they do. The facility is always immaculate (and this was before the Covid Crisis). The community is very positive, friendly, and welcoming. The workouts are always challenging. If you are serious about achieving your fitness goals, I highly recommend giving this gym your business. It is worth every penny.

This gym put all of my negative opinions about CrossFit to rest! I participated in their 6-week challenge, and even then I was skeptical. I started the challenge and it was a great experience from beginning to end. My coaches Ricardo and Fabio were helpful and knowledgeable, I followed a fulling meal plan, and I was held accountable for all of my actions good and bad! Overall, I received the support I needed to be successful in the challenge which carried into my daily life. I would highly recommend this place because, not only do you gain confidence and strength. You also gain a supportive community of friends.

I came across an ad on Facebook about this gym and decided to give it a try. Signed up to their 6-week challenge and I am excited to say that I’ve seen AMAZING result. I feel a lot more energetic and I’ve been told that I have a glow on my face. The coaches are truly caring and overall amazing!! For over a year I paid a gym membership at another gym and NEVER went in even once to workout, but at CrossFit Commitment, I have the support from the coaches who hold me accountable to my workout schedule and nutritious diet. What a better gym partner than a great coach. This gym is a 10 out of 5 stars!!

Check your fears at the door, no egos allowed. Everyone at this crossfit gym is supportive, friendly and motivational. You can go on in knowing nothing. Drew/Franco/Ricardo are all top notch, helpful coaches, and pushy in a good way. I started at crossfit commitment never doing most of these exercises, workouts and stretches. Within 7-8 weeks I was well on my way in their beginner track focusing on technique and nutrition. I was able to lose about 25 pounds within this process. They have dealt with covid crisis professionally, safely and pivoting in innovative ways to deliver classes.

I will highly recommend this CrossFit gym !!! I signed up for a six week challenge and I am amazed by my results! I was able to get one on one coaching and was able to get modified workouts in order to build my strength and abilities to complete the workouts. It was not intimidating at all ! Shout out to my nutrition coach Drew McMillin who helped with my 30lbs + weight loss goal in 6 months. He was there to Guide me, and assist me in any way possible to help me achieve my goals and beyond. I hit some road bumps in the beginning but he was able to lend an ear and give me advice, motivation and knowledge to push me forward. I couldn't be more grateful for his time and efforts with me. Coach Jill & Coach Drew VERY dedicated to help in every way possible from running right by your side when you ready to give up to making themselves available after gym hours. In my short time there was able to loose 5% body fat & 7 lbs giving me confidence to continue my journey. Classes intense but Jill makes working out FuN. Absolutely love this gym! I'd been wanting to check out crossfit workouts for quite some time and decided to take the leap with Crossfit Commitment. All of the coaches are great, and classes are kept small so you don't feel overwhelmed and get personalized attention. They train you well so even if you've never done powerlifting or it has been some time, they get you up to speed. The other members are great too and bring a great environment to the gym. I joined CFC for the 6 week challenge in hopes to lose weight and to turn my body fat into muscle. My focus was on losing the body fat, and I did lose like 3 percent BF by end of the challenge. Working out at CFC is fun and the trainers are highly motivating. Special thanks to Ricardo for keeping a close eye on my workouts and diet! The meal plan was good and easy to follow, but requires dedication! My experience has been so good that I signed up for the next six months! The entire team is truly amazing, you’re always greeted with a smile and they make you feel at home with friends. They break down the steps for an exercise each time and are willing to modify any exercise of you have any joint issues. The trainers make sure to push you, which was awesome. Ricardo and Fabio would always do a great job or helping me find my max weight for an exercise. It wasn’t until this gym that I started to realize how strong I truly am. They will demo and explain every move and push you to do your best even if it is just one more rep. The classes are smaller so the coaches can help everyone. The workouts are challenging but appropriately scaled to each individual's fitness level and needs. The coaches are smart, safe, and genuinely interested in the successes of their athletes. The best experience! I just finished a 16 week transformation program working with the owner, Drew, and it was an incredible experience. I am so happy and proud with the results and the tools I was given! I completed the class remotely and personally just wanted to focus on the nutritional side of things while maintaining my normal workout routine (soccer a few times a week and walking.) Drew and his team of trainers are great! They help with accountability and a great source of knowledge. I came in with a whole list of injuries and they were able to show me alternatives and the strength training I learned helped build strength and lessen pain from my knee and back injuries. Then corona hit and we all have to stay in but the guys at CFC are on top of it and keeping us motivated at home with online zoom classes. The classes are group classes but if they see that you have different goals/are a different place in fitness, they’ll suggest doing different exercises.
