Where do I begin? This place is AMAZING! All of the staff are extremely sweet. They treat their clients very well. It’s a wonderful and comforting atmosphere. They are very hospitable. Everyone here is very educated. They have amazing deals and packages. Laura did my facial and dermaplaning and she really improved my skin quality, took the time to educate me in thorough detail, listened to all my concerns/questions, set goals with me, gave me notes to help me at home, and MUCH MORE. She is a very kind,caring,professional skin expert and she loves to educate and genuinely cares about overall skin health. For some people it’s just about the money, but not with her, you can tell it is a PASSION! Please, invest in yourself....this spa has EVERYTHING: waxing, massages, facials, hair, mani/pedis, makeup, perfume oils, and much more (they don’t have lash extensions, but they do have everything else that you could possibly need. Also, not sure about microblading brows...don’t think so, but there are other shops that do those things). If you want a good atmosphere, cleanliness, comfort, wonderful staff, knowledgeable experts with great deals and options for multiple self-care routines to fit your schedule then this is the best place for you. They deserve all of the good reviews that they have. They truly care about you here. Please show them some love. I will be recommending this place to all of my friends and family. You are worth the self-care! Invest in yourself!

Wow!!!! I am so happy I found this salon. My experience was amazing. Kim did my hair and I am in love with it, she really cared about how it turned out, that is hard to find these days. I asked her to make me feel beautiful and she really did. As a new mom, I needed a big change, she understood exactly what I wanted and she did it. She is young and hasn’t been doing hair for long, but she gave me one of the best cuts I have ever gotten. As she gains more experience I just know she is going to blow people away with her talent. I know I will be a loyal client. My facial was done by Brenna and she was amazing too, so easy to talk to. She explained everything and I was completely comfortable the whole time. I can’t wait to go back. From the moment I walked in I was impressed with how welcoming and accommodating the staff is. The receptionist was so kind and willing to answer all of my questions. Post covid it is hard to have these great experiences, to find a place where everyone takes pride in what they do and are genuinely happy to give a great experience. This spa did that for me.

I had been there once as I was looking for a salon to call my own. My first experience was wonderful so I made a second appointment for 3 months out. I showed up 15 minutes early checked in at the desk and sat there for 45 minutes. No acknowledgement by staff that I was still sitting there. The boss or owner out chit chatting with stylists and clients while I was sitting there ignored. At least 5 clients were taken back. I went to the desk told them I had a 530 appointment it was 600 I was leaving. They said wait we will take care of you. Turns out the stylist is no longer there and they send me a confirmation text that morning and checked me in and let me sit. The manager basically said it was my fault for not returning their confirmation calls and it was a glitch. I could reschedule for half off. I said no thank you and left.that is appalling customer service. So if you are not already an established client do not waste your time. Terrible. Unprofessional.

My husband got me a facial, massage, manicure and pedicure for Valentine’s Day, and while the facial and massage were great the manicure and pedicure were horrible. The staff had informed me that all of their nail techs had left for the day so a hairstylist would be stepping in. While the pedicure was fine it took a total of 3 hours for my nails to be completed. The staff did not know how to do acrylic nails so they suggested gel x nails instead which ended up lasting a week. I was at the salon for a total of 6 hours while my husband had to watch our baby at work. Once informed the staff member that this was taking too long because I had to pick up my child she became flustered and rushed the rest of the job changing my nail polish color half way through. The staff member made a comment that she should had know that I had somewhere to be when I didn’t think it would take 3 hours to complete a manicure/pedicure. It was definitely not worth the money!!!

First timer and I can say this place is a hidden gem! Surprised my fiancé with a Full spa day with lunch for her birthday and she had an amazing time and experience. She said everyone was very friendly, patient, timely and polite. The staff did an amazing job making the process for me to book such a wonderful surprise birthday gift. I’m giving a four star review because with the full spa package a pedicure is included. The pedicure was amazing but the polish job was terrible! To be honest. There’s polish all over the cuticle’s, it’s not clean and it is not smooth at all. Very disappointing because I had higher expectations with it being a spa. You want that overall nice job done and not a polish job that you can go and get done at your average local nail shop. Those little details matter. Overall will return just not for any nail services. I took my friend to transformations Salon to get her hair detangled, as a big knot was forming from putting her hair up and her not properly maintaining it. She received treatment from a woman named Leah. I was not with my friend at the time of her appointment. My friend later told me that LEAH, was very unprofessional at her job, asked her how old she was, why would someone let their hair get like this, as well as saying I'm not you're best friend I'm here to do you're hair ??!?!?! That's so completely unprofessional especially since Leah charges 75 an hour . On top of chopping my friends hair completely off. She not only charged an hourly rate she also charged her for a haircut which was 43 dollars !!! Needless to say I will never recommend transformations to anyone and Leah should not be doing hair at all!!! Pictures to come!!

Transformations is a wonderful, clean, organized, Christian led spa and salon. I've been coming here for a few years now but just decided to join their membership program. This program allows you to save money every time you spend money and it's only $75 a month. Totally worth it if you are a monthly visitor. Everyone knows a great business starts at the top with the owner! Vivian is the best and she only hires the best talent too. Everyone at Transformations is fabulous! From Jane and the girls who greet you, to Samantha who manages the business to Adalynn who takes care of my feet and hands, and Jill who gives amazing massages, and Kenna and Laura who give amazing facials. Today I needed a last minute solution for a full color, cut and style and I couldn’t get into my regular stylist for a few weeks. I took a chance using the on line booking service with Transformations and was pleasantly surprised about my experience from start to finish. The online booking was simple to use and I was led through by choosing the right level of experienced stylist that I preferred. Once I met Morgan, she professionally led me through her series of questions which helped me to evaluate the kind of service I needed today. Morgan listened, answered my questions and made sure I understood every step of our process assuring me of what to expect next. I really appreciated the professional experience and I will definitely adjust my budget for this step of A+ service. Thanks for pampering me today! I’ll be back!

I have been going to Transformations for a few years now and have NEVER received anything but top notch service. My nail tech Ana is wonderful and engaging. We talk the entire time I sit across from her. Kristina is my hair guru and is amazing! I can literally sit in her chair and say fix this mess I call hair and she works her magic and I walk out feeling like a new person!! She's so good my daughter will travel in from Chicago just to have Kristina do her hair! I take my 87 year old mother to see Nyoon (I'm pretty sure I spelled that wrong :-( ) when she's feeling up to it and Nyoon always makes sure shes comfortable and makes her feel welcomed and loved. I've also used a number of their spa services (facials, massages, etc.) and again have never not walked out totally satisfied. I highly recommend Transformations!!!

My first experience with Transformations was exceptional. From my stylist Kristina, to Hannah who answered the phone, as well as everyone when I walked in the door. Kristina is absolutely amazing, she took a tremendously bad hair cut and transformed me her very first time. I look years younger and better yet, was able to style myself the very next day (never able to do that... usually takes a week before can style my hair). She was the first and only one here in Indiana, since we moved back from Albuquerque, that has ever been able to style my hair in the salon and I have LOVED it...... My husband even told me yesterday when I woke up that my hair looked good just waking up, NO bed head !!!!!! Everyone needs check out Transformations Salon and Day Spa. When you do, you will NEVER go anywhere else!!!!

I discovered this place in January when I was searching for a place that would do a side by side massage (for my best friend & I, she got married the next day). They were so friendly and the service was excellent! I loved it so much I started going back every month for a massage and became a VIP member. Rachael is my massage therapist and she’s amazing. I haven’t used their salon services so I can’t say anything about that, but I wouldn’t hesitate to try it. It might not look like much from the outside, but don’t let that fool you. It’s very nice and welcoming on the inside. I definitely recommend this place to anyone.

This is my favorite spa on the south side. Everyone who works here is wonderful. I get massages frequently to combat tension headaches and all of their masseuses are wonderful. I have also gotten several facials, the hydra facial, and dermaplaning. Always can tell an immediate difference. Also started going to Delaney for hair coloring. I am attempting a really tricky grey blend and she is magnificent. Finally, they have amazing daily and seasonal specials that come right to your inbox! I use these all the time. I do think they need to improve soundproofing in treatment areas but it’s still my favorite place

I have been going to Transformations Salon and Spa since ~2010. I have received hair, nail, and spa services from a variety of their employees. My favorite services are the deep tissue massage, swedish massage, and the hydra facial. I have also been a monthly membership holder and enjoyed utilizing those services more frequently during very stressful personal times. I even brought my bridesmaids here for pampering! If you're looking for a spa on the south side of Indianapolis/Greenwood I highly recommend them for their service, customer service, large group accommodations, and reasonable pricing.

A very nice relaxing experience began when I walked thru the door with calming music & smiling people. I had an invigorating chair massage during my pedicure. Even the wash chair had massage! Deep massaging shampoo. Awesome cut & style. I didn't have a picture, but she really listened to what I wanted & created a very flattering style that will be easy for me for recreate at home! I finished up my mini spa day with a 10-minute chair massage by one of their skilled massage therapists. Transformations is a little oasis right here on the southside of Indy!!

I went to Transformations for the first time last week. I had the Hydrafacial and a pedicure done. I loved every minute of it! The whole place was just beautiful. Just a Relaxing and calming atmosphere . All the staff was super friendly and very talkative with all their clients. I never felt uncomfortable in any way. I also got some products before I left and they were amazing. One was a body wash and bubble bath that smelled just like vanilla cupcakes and the other was a caramel and coffee body polish. Love both of them! I will definitely be back...probably once a month honestly! Lol.

It has been my pleasure to be a customer of transformations for about three years now and my overall experience with this spa has always been pleasant. While things can happen from time to time anywhere you go, it is then where the customer service must take over to remedy an issue. During the these three years I experienced only one or two situations, however they were remedied quickly. No need to put a poor rating on only a couple of small issues, again because it was remedied quickly and my overall experience has been very good. I have and will continue to recommend this spa.

I was in the salon yesterday around 300 pm. An upset little girl maybe 15 y.o. (acting like a 6 y.o ) was crying very upset about her hair, mind you her hair was done from a different salon. Her stylist tried to console her and told her grandmother what it would cost. The situation escalated and the manager, Kristi, very professionally handed it. I have to say thank you for handling that awful situation professionally. The salon has been nothing but excellent. Please consider them for all there services. They are all very considerate and extremely talented professionals.

I've had multiple services at Transformations and they never fail to please! Not only do I walk out looking better, but also feeling better. The entire team is amazing, but special shout-out goes to Jill, the best massage therapist in the world, and to Lauryn for beautiful hair cut and color work. My only hesitation in leaving a glowing review is I don't want too much word to get out about this place because if the rest of the Southside found out about this gem I wouldn't be able to get my appointments in! Truly truly the best place to go for body and soul restoration.

I had a wonderful hair experience recently at Transformations. I am a very low maintenance person with hair and I am trying to grow it out from a very short hair cut, after my appointment I felt amazing! My hair color and cut was a true masterpiece. I can say after most cuts I am in a ugh state but here after my cut and color I walked out of a salon and was truly happy. I even had my stylist take a picture of my hair after she was done! I could have been a Pinterest pin!! A huge thanks to Kristi K. For doing the most amazing job! I think she does wonders!

This place is amazing and an absolute lifesaver! My stylist didn't show up for my wedding and so I called around to four different places needing to get four people in to get hair styled, last minute. They were able to get me and my three bridesmaids all in at the same time!! They did a wonderful job on all the hairstyles and they lasted all day from 10 a.m. to 9 p.m. and even longer for some of my bridesmaids. I would recommend this place to anyone who asks! I can't thank them enough for saving my wedding day!!!

I have been to Transformations twice and both were for nail services. I have worked with Ana both times. She is absolutely fantastic! Not only does she take her time, but she is just a nice person to talk to! I find myself much more entertained by our conversation versus having my nose in my phone. My pedicures and manicure looked great and I didn't feel rushed out the door to get the next client in. All staff are friendly and welcoming. I would love to try the other services they have available!

My family and I love this salon. I found it a few years by looking up “best massage packages for men” because I was looking for a gift for my husband. He absolutely loved it. I then sent my sister there for a massage/facial and my MIL. Last year I went to have my hair fixed after a botched cut from somewhere else and the stylist not only spent over an hour fixing it but she was so patient because my 3 kids were there as well. They have great deals and fun packages every month.

I love the atmosphere. It is friendly, professional and all of the staff is about the guest. They make you feel like you are the only one. The communication from the staff to me is excellent! I have my hair done once a week because I do not like styling my own hair and it lasts the whole week and I always get so many compliments. The spa services are out of this world. By far the best in Indianapolis! Thank you Transformations for making my experience a great one!

I've been coming here off and on for several years, and I'm always impressed by their work (hair). I've never tried their spa services, but I hope to soon! Abbey did a wonderful job on my very fine light blonde hair. She gave it life! It's always been a struggle to find some place that can give my lifeless hair volume and texture, and not make it look choppy and/or greasy. Everyone there is friendly and it's a very clean establishment. Absolutely worth the money!

Today was a particularly rough day for me at work and personally. I went into my appointment with hair that hadn't been washed in a high pony just needing a cut. I haven't gotten a haircut in around a year and I am pleased to say that Morgan did a phenomenal job. She was friendly, understanding of my circumstances, gave suggestions (I'm not too picky when it comes to cuts and styles), and great to be around after a long day. I'll definitely be returning!

I walked in with hair down to my chest, and walked out with the coolest textured pixie cut I’ve ever received! From the moment Kiley took me to her chair the minute I left she was just as excited about my drastic changes as I was! This was the best hair cut experience I’ve ever had! I also always enjoy treating myself to a massage with any of the massage therapists. FYI - you won’t regret splurging for a 90 minute massage! They were amazing Ana and Emily did a great job on mine and my wife's pedicure. They were knowledgeable about the services and products. They made us feel welcome on our first visit. I also took advantage of the full service salon while my wife was getting her toes painted and got a brow wax by Bri. She did a great job and cleaned me up and left me looking well groomed but not like I had chick brows. We will be back!!!!

My appointment was for color, cut and style. I liked that the receptionist asked me the typical Covid screening questions as soon as I walked in. I saw stylists sanitizing chairs after clients which made me feel safe. My color (warm red with highlights) turned out great. Perfect. I receive compliments everywhere I go! The cut is the best cut I have ever had and I'm not just saying that. Thank you Vivian!

Professional, yet personable staff. Excellent stylist. High class salon with reasonable prices. My hair looks wonderful every time I walk out of there, and the cut is so well done that it stays looking good until I am ready for the next cut. These are well trained stylists who listen to the client and want to know what works and does not work and what your really want, not what they want.

I was willing to spend 400.00 in gift cards for Black Friday with the bonus of 20% extra in gift cards, only to find out I or no one else could use on a Saturday and only one bonus card used for a single visit. I had a bad hair experience, but a great facial experience. They have lost my money forever. Don’t they call this bait and switch? What if I didn’t ask the right questions?

Very pretty place. Clean, quiet (I had a pedicure). My technician was very nice. My chair didn't work very well and they said "its been broken". Well, for a $50 pedicure, you should make sure ALL your chairs (only 4 of them) are in proper working condition! I loved the "first timer" packet of goodies & coupons. I will go back in the future but probably not often - kind of pricey.

If you need a massage .....this is the place to go! Ryan is absolutely excellent! He is very professional. I have to take my kids with me and he has never made me feel like that was a problem. I have fibromyalgia and he is very careful, but uses just the right amount of pressure to loosen the muscles without leaving me in pain. I will NEVER go anywhere else again!

Brought my 69 year old grandma here for a well needed self care day and to get her hair done since Covid, she lives in assisted living and hasn’t really been able to get out often. This is the best place to go to relax, in my opinion. I love getting a massage, I love getting my hair done - all of it! Everyone is so talented. Plus, the atmosphere is so surreal. It’s very clean and relaxing in there! Everyone was nice and professional, easy to talk to. I got a Brazilian! My wax specialist (I don’t know her name) did a good job! She was super sweet and made sure I was comfortable throughout the process. I went ahead and booked my next appointment already!

This south side salon has great weekly and seasonal specials that I try to take advantage of to pamper myself a little. I love that they carry product lines that I can feel good about putting on my skin. I have had everything from nails to hair to a seasonal package and never been disappointed.

The girls were nice enough but the regular non gel nail polish was off.. I don’t know if they just put too many layers or what but it never dried on my toes it was weird. I enjoyed the farmhouse pedicure and we added the hot wax which felt extra nice!

$73 for a basic hair cut and style (no layers even) is way to expensive for this area. They say it’s because the stylist was “level 4” and my teenage daughters hair was long so they had to charge extra. Crazy. Won’t be going back.
