I both had a tune up on a bike, with the front fork replaced, and then purchased a bike from Trek. The Trek bikes themselves are great products. I got a hybrid/cross bike, the FX1, and so far I've been very pleased with it. The work on the tune-up/fork was very good and shortly after the tune-up happened, that bike was stolen. I had previously told them it was being used to commute to get them to expedite the tune-up because my car had actually been stolen as well a couple months back (got it back yeaterday, so cool beans there,) and while the bike was being shipped and assembled, they went the extra mile and let me take a loaner, the FX2, for a week and a half. Gotta say that was pretty amazing and they didn't have to do that. Ubers aren't cheap and coordinating rides can be burdensome on friends and family. The gentleman who sold me the FX1, immediately recognized my needs, gave me the facts on different bikes and why they were priced as such, and put no pressure on me by attempting to upsale. I don't have a single negative, nor indifferent thing to say about these guys and highly recommend them based on their products, quick, detailed bike servicing, down-to-earth salesmanship, and big hearts for helping someone out, like me, unexpectedly. Go to Trek bikes and see for yourself.

***Update*** Looks like the staff has been changed and new staff has no idea about what is going on. I have been services my bikes here before and they have always accepted "Commuter Checks" Which is offered to me by my company, This time when I went there to purchase my bike they guy on the counter said that he is not sure if he can accept those. Come on !! If you have whole system you can just check this by pulling my records or if you can just call your main office you can get this. So I just went to Parmar Trek location which is very near to me and staff there is very knowledgeable, They helped me out with my commuter checks and I purchased bike from Parmer Trek Location. They used to be specialized bike earlier but now only sell Trek bikes. They can still repair the Specialized bikes. I always get my service done through them but only major ones cause they are not easy on your pocket.

I brought in my bike for tire replacement and inspection and while I was greeted by a friendly employee, the rest of the service was not a pleasant experience. I had waited for awhile after check in and checked with an employee how long it will be until the technicians are free, all of a sudden one of the bike service technician asked what’s going in an aggressive way. the other technician who serviced my bike didn’t have the patience to explain what the source of the squeak I was hearing while riding my bike. He also didn’t tell me how much the total breakdown of the service was going to be before starting to work on my bike. After the transaction he said he’ll send the receipt to my email but I never received the email receipt. I did appreciate the quick turn around on the actual service, I was able to get it back the same day I’ll be avoiding this location from now on.

Neve would have learned as much as I did without coming here. John was incredibly kind and talented in relaying information. He made ordering both bikes stress free. I was only able to take one home that day and loved riding it right away knowing I had professional help pick it out added that confidence. When I picked up the second bike with my girlfriend we were treated like first class clients by Nathan. My girlfriend was afraid of riding a bit since her mom had a traumatic bike accident a while back. Nathan took his time to show her how to ride and sit properly. Not easy in addition to building her confidence back up a bit. He did things the right way with patience and expertise. Thanks so much to the entire team there. I noticed a team vibe there. The team enjoyed and trusted each other’s opinions and expertise. Good atmosphere.

Would give 10 stars if I could. I’ve been in their twice and I am a guy that shops around a lot but I will go out of my way to buy from this store only as their customer service and prices are better than any shop closer to me. Jacob helped me the first time I was their to shop around and find the style of bike I wanted. John helped me today with picking out some gear and getting me sized up for a proper fitting seat. This time I had my super ADHD son with me as I’m trying to teach him how to behave and let’s just say it wasn’t going very well so I had to deal with my son being distracting, bratty and just generally misbehaved and all the staff was nothing but understanding, patient and extremely helpful as I picked out what i needed and researched future purchases. Thank you guys and I’ll be back for more stuff soon!

Great service, great experience! My wife and I went and didn't know anything about bikes now-a-days and I imagine the people who work there immediately noticed and were very helpful. Jason helped us out and answered all our questions and never once made me feel like I was being pushed into making a purchase. It was more like a pull... the more he answered our questions and the more information value he offered, the more we were drawn to make our decision to buy. We walked out with two excellent bikes and didn't break the bank. I'm sure that when we are ready to upgrade or just buy another pair of bikes we will be returning to this same shop. I definitely had a five star experience at Trek. I had been struggling for weeks to pump some stroller tires. I watched tons of videos, bought new inner tubes, different pumps to fit small spoke spaces… all with no luck. I called Trek and Caitlin was so friendly and encouraged me to come in for help. I walked in with two kids bikes and a stroller and got help right away from Nathan. He figured out my problem in a flash and taught me how to avoid that problem I. The future. I ended up needing a service on one of the kids bikes which was quick and easy. I spent $12 total which almost feels like a crime. A friend of mine recommended this place to buy our first helmet. We were excited to learn about our measurements to buy the perfect fit but the representative whose name is Adam, provided us with terrible service. He noticed we were new on the bike business and his enthusiasm to helped us declined. He made us feel like we were wasting his time. He just pretty much said to select a helmet and then he would helped us out. I told him I was told a friend referred us because this store provides measurements and he ignore my statement and refused to measure us. He said we could find out my selecting q S, M, or Large. Needless to say we left the store in 10 min with a sour taste.

I bought a bicycle from this shop yesterday and it was a very pleasant experience. Tristan helped me out, and he was incredibly consultative and never went for a hard sell. I felt comfortable the whole time, and I got to ensure what I was buying was the right fit for me. He gave a bunch of recommendations, as I am a new bike owner. He went out of my way to ensure I had a good experience with my purchase and my bicycle. I also called into the office today, and got great recommendations on bike lubricants from the lady I spoke too, even when I wasn't buying from them. Overall fantastic experience.

I ride my road bike a lot & rely on it quite heavily for a daily hill-climbing workout. I recently needed to replace my old & very worn 10-speed derailleur groupset with a new one for my road bike. Trek Bicycle Research provided me with a very competitive package price on a new Shimano 11-speed Di2 groupset, including installation. All said, I am completely pleased with my new groupset & the install service that Trek Bicycle Research provided. Trek service includes a 30 day warranty, which is important "peace of mind" to have when adjustments need to be made. Easy to recommend these folks.

Dino and the team were incredibly helpful when picking out my first bike in 15 years. I’m already loving it and encourage anyone who feels overwhelmed by all of the options to head in and talk to one of the amazing team members here. I barely made it in before close and the guys were happy to hang out with me for an hour to ensure I was educated on my purchase. I came back the next day and spent another 2 hours with the team covering all of the different aspects of the bike as well as the accessories necessary to have a successful experience. Go see Dino!

I appreciate the service I receive and the charactor of the staff at this store. The way I was treated by the service department during a visit once two years has made me a full supporter of this shop regardless of the name on the sign. I was delighted to learn that the staff is the same regardless of the corporate franchise association. My bike has just been expertly repaired and updated by Trek Research and I love it and the service I received from Tryston(sp)/Front and Luke (service). I support my local bike shop very much and for good reason.

I brought my new bicycle in for initial assembly on Saturday March 13th. I was greeted unexpectedly warmly and the technician that took my information down was very helpful and answered all of my questions. They told me it would be ready by Tuesday. It was ready much earlier the next day (Sunday). I picked up my assembled bike, the technician left helpful notes and the folks at the store were very professional and courteous. I will continue taking my business to this store based on their excellent customer service and quality workmanship

I came to Trek with only the bike riding background from when I was a kid. I am also just recovering from injuries and wanted something fun beyond PT. Simone was great. She took me to the Verves and answered all my questions without making me feel that i was in over my head with more experienced cyclists. She also ordered and set up a basket for my pup on the back of the bike. Many thanks to her and those in the store who set up and delivered the bike. We are riding through the neighborhood each night.

Stopped by here because I got tired of buying cheap bikes from box stores for my kids. My son was fitted for a kids bike here that was light years better in quality than we had gotten before and perfect for his size. The bike was already built and they took it in the back and gave it a quick tune up before we left the store. My son loves his new bike and the quality and fit make it much more enjoyable to ride. The bikes here are bit more but the quality and service make it money well spent.

Nothing but great things about Trek at Research. Went in for new gloves, a cage, and a few questions. Julian went above and beyond and answered every question I asked. When I was talking to the mechanic, Julian took care of my son and found him his bike. Simone helped us with the trade. Everyone is friendly and treated us like family. This place is fantastic! It is a little difficult buying a bicycle right now with Covid, but Bicycle Sport Shop did a great job of helping me find the right bike. I spoke to Dino over the phone a week after purchasing my bike, he was incredibly helpful and didn't rush me at all. Dino spent 20 minutes on the phone with me and even went and measured things for me on bikes in the store. Great customer service. If you are looking for a bike this is a the place the go!

I'm not a Trek brand fan, but have continued coming here since they bought out Bicycle Sport Shop. Seems like they've lost most if not all of the BSS staff (who were always super friendly and helpful over the years), and last time I went to buy tires and have them installed, they inflated back tire 110 lbs as i requested, but then put 80 lbs in the front tire. They didn't tell me and I didn't notice until I got home to ride. What a joke. I won't be back.

Just as knowledgeable and helpful as they were 10 years ago. We came in here to buy a bike for my 4 year old daughter and the sales staff was very patient with us. In chatting I learned about some of the newer tech since I haven't been in the bike scene for quite a while. I also personally test rode a bike and did not feel pressured to buy it, even though I said I really liked it. This 183/Research location has always been one of my favorite bike shops.

The service we received was SO PROFESSIONAL and SO PERSONAL. We actually stopped in at the Trek store before we headed to REI because the closing time was earlier. But the engagement from the sales person and their attention to what we were looking for and what we needed was fantastic. I have been a LONG TIME customer with Bicycle Sport Shop and was very curious how the transition to Trek had gone... and I will be back.

Always a pleasure and joy to go here. I worked with Dino who helped me get a comfort for Clipless pedals and shoes. He went way above and beyond just selling me pedals and cleats. He explained how they work, how to clip in and even installed the cleats on my own shoes i bought, and patiently watched me clip in and out. I love this place, and they are honest and really want you to enjoy your purchase.

Amazing shop. The customer service you get here is second to none! I've purchased two bikes here, had repairs done, and currently working with one of the techs to build up a third bike (thanks Nate!). They take their work seriously and don't throw a bunch of BS at you. When you walk in, there is always someone to help right away and they stand by their work. If I could give more stars, I would.

Tristian is very knowledgeable and answered all my questions directly without the sales pitch. He called other stores across the country to find the basket color I wanted for my bicycle . Amazing!!! They are so awesome and helpful. Got a level 1 tune up and forgot to mention my brakes were backwards for some reason and when I came to pick it up they mention it and I requested for them to switch them around and they did on the spot free of no charge and it was closing time for them!!!! Used the service department for a repair I needed. I was going to try and fix it myself but thought I would try these guys first this time. Glad I did, I would have wasted some money buying parts I didn't need. Fast dependable service at a reasonable price. Everyone was friendly and didn't make fun of my 20 year old, non-Trek bike. The bike needed a new chain and there weren’t any in stock or online so he gave me one he had from his personal stash…when I tried to pay him for it he refused. Real nice and helpful staff. I was looking for a top tube bag. Glad I brought my bike to test the bags before buying because neither bag fit. I think they have a policy of carrying primarily Trek company products and that limits the selection available. Staff was so friendly I wanted to buy something, so bought a tire boot :-)

Peter and Luke at the repair shop are number one in my book. They were very kind to resolve my issue without giving me static versus the co-op store of which I am a member and where I was treated very rudely right before that. So I thank them for their service and for restoring my faith in bicycle shops. Kudos, gentlemen.

The bike shop was amazing and super helpful. I took my e-bikes that I had just purchased to get the brakes, derailleur, chain, and overall safety check done. Only took about a half hour and was reasonably priced. They even helped us with knowledge of proper riding gear. Great place would recommend!

Bicycles are expensive now days and I wanted to make sure I got the quality that matched the price. Also, my bike was more complex because it has gears and an electric assist. So I need someone to help me understand how to use it and take care of it. Trek does all of that!

Saturday afternoon I needed a spoke on the rear wheel of my Cx bike. The guys lent me a wheel while they worked on my wheel. I had an out of town Cx race the next day. They saved the day!
