Please explain to me why as restrictions are lifting and public places opening back up, is the public library telling me they they are only open for book drop off and pick up, while I went there last year when Covid was terribly effecting NY without a problem. They're employees as well as security guard who wasn't there last year are in there getting paid to talk and laugh as they were when I arrived. Some pure bull! If I can't go in to read a book or use the computer them what really do we need you in our community for!? Make is make sense NYPL. Your "expansions" are limiting community use to the point where we can't even get in. If that's the case then open a window with a single employee to take and give books and save money and resources.

I'm staying in the area for a few months, went in once and came across very friendly and helpful librarians. The entire staff is friendly and polite. They have nice weekly event geared to people in the community that wouldn't necessarily be useful to me but it is nice to know that even with constant budget cuts they still manage to be there for people. Basic services are great, it is a massive or new location but it is tidy, clean and well kept. Very pleasant place overall.

Staff very disrespectful specifically women with hazel contacts. Does look people in trhe eye when speaking and has a rude attitude mumbles under her breath as if she doesnt want to talk. Staff are louder at the front desk than visitors as if they dont know the rules of the library .....ridiculous like seriously dont come here fordham is so much better...NEVER AGAIN

Nothing really unique about this library... Its not as good as Queens Public Library in Jamaica Queens. This Library is alot smaller in comparison and it closes at 6:00pm and not open on Sundays unlike Queens Public Library. I will give the library this. If your looking for a quiet place to study, then this is the place for you

This library is extremely loud ALWAYS. Staff do not even attempt to quiet themselves or any of the patrons/visitors. Staff are very friendly and helpful but COMPLETELY UNPROFESSIONAL. Do not come here for anything important/requiring silence, you will leave pissed.

A library is supposed to be a quiet place where everyone could get their work, homework, college work etc etc...this place is only filled with kids playing on the computer making loud noices asking for your own card time so that they can have more time to play...

Been Coming Here For About 10 Years Now (Since I Was 8) & Its Always Been My Second Home Along With Every Kid That Grew Up In 480. Trust Me It Keep Us Kids Reading And Learning Instead Of Running The Sreets Making Poor Choices That'll Bite Us In The Ass. Come By

This was where I had my first job at 15 years old working as a page. My salary was $55 per month, working after school and on Saturdays. What a great place! Good memories...

My son and I love this place and the staff. Everyone is helpful and respectful, the place is clean and it’s fantastic to get some time to read or study.

This is just a play ground for rude moms. They kept talking and laughing with their child but no one gave them a piece of advice not even a staff.

Nice, quiet little library on a sleepy residential street here in the South Bronx. Very cozy place to get your reading or work done!

Librarians are nice and helpful. Getting a computer is quite hard as it’s always taken other than that we loved it
