"My first time here I had good food and good service"
The worst customer service experience . I'm very upset that as a customer who was ordering not for the first time was treated poorly and more than that. I made an order on Uber Eats for this restaurant and pre-paid everything at the time when order was placed , however when delivery boy arrived I opened my package and realize that all order was wrong and the food that was inside was probably belonging to somebody else . I was calling the restaurant and requested to talk with somebody and explained that was a wrong order or my order was replaced, gentleman didn't speak any English and arguing in different language over the phone and past my phone to another gentlemen I explained that I paid for my food and wrong items was delivered he asked rudely "What is your location?" I said my location and my name he said " Aha NO we can not deliver your food you are far away for us !" I was in shock what he just told me but it wasn't far away to charge my card and deliver wrong items. I told him I 'm sorry you treating your customer this way but I paid for the food and never got my items he said : "Sorry I'm busy I have go, I have to go customer waiting for me" and hang up . I'm in shock, I wouldn't recommend . DO NOT GO TO THIS PLACE ! Awful service they will rob you in anything they can.
We placed an order via Grubhub from Tutt Cafe and picked up at assigned time. The order process was not smooth because it got canceled and duplicated when we were picking up our order. The staff was friendly but not familiar with the issues caused by Grubhub which was frustrating. It was fixed in the end by Grubhub but was time-consuming. We had their Green Pitza, Leg of Lamb Plate and Baklava. The food was decent especially the leg of lamb. The lamb was cooked properly with no gamey taste even my husband who hates lamb finished his plate. We were disappointed with their baklava which was not the best in our experience and the filling was way too little.
This is the best place i’ve ever stumbled across! Amazing dishes very nice and very friendly just amazing staff and just overall a great spot to just sit down and enjoy! Super affordable prices for amazing dishes. The freshly made Pita bread!! Quick service & very trustworthy. They went above and beyond with their service! I 100% recommend this place if your looking for a good middle eastern restaurant or if your looking for something to eat in general!! I could not be happier with my results

Tutt Heights is a low-frill restaurant that focuses on the quality and taste of its food. I’ve picked up lunch from Tutt twice over the past few weeks and the food is always so delicious. It’s a restaurant that’s hard to miss and located in a odd street where there aren’t many things around, so I can understand why there isn’t a lot of foot traffic, though they certainly deserve it. The staff are also friendly and always greets guests with a smile. I enjoyed their lamb and chicken kebab, seconded by the shawarma. The food is super fresh and well seasoned. Overall, I recommend Tutt!
My first time here I had good food and good service. A young girl was waiting tables, perhaps on a break from school. But my most recent visit--this week--I sat and waited precious minutes while an adult male employee looked at his cell phone and ignored my table. The restaurant was not busy at the time. After the meal, the waiter continued his neglect, and I walked to the counter to ring up the bill, since no check was delivered. It left a bad impression. I need a place that is consistently good, not as spotty as here.

BEST MEDITERRANEAN/EGYPTIAN FOOD EVER! Truly was a pleasure getting to dine in at Tutt cafe. Went with with a bunch of my friends who some are vegan and place did not disappoint. Falafel sandwich was by far the best I ever had! My go to is spinach pie, kofta kebab, and lamb gyro. Service was also impeccable, owner is hands on and will serve guests with a delight! If you have a seeet tooth, definitely recommend the desserts! My personal favorite was the kunefe and honey cake! Will most definitely be coming back soon
Stopped here for dinner after walking across the Brooklyn Bridge. The food was delicious and the service was amazing. The family is so kind and welcoming, highly recommend stopping and giving them a try.

Great little middle eastern gem. Food was great, the two guys were working hard to get everyone’s food ready. The place is non pretentious and simple and so is the food. Dont miss the kebab! And be prepared to wait- as a neighborhood place, if 2-3 tables walk in that means you will have to wait a little for your food!

I now eat here regularly (or order in). I love the 5 salad salad and when I go with friends, we each have our go to combos. We reel them off high speed and yet we have NEVER been brought a wrong order and the food is always delicious. Everyone I have taken here has enjoyed it and asked to go back. It's delicious, good for any dietary requirement, and not at all expensive. The Harira soup is the best, in any season and in agreement with the other reviewers, Tutt's bread is out of this world amazing.
If you looking for the best place to have the best quality of food go there! My first time and it won’t be the last, my family and I came to visit NY, after all fun times we had we looked for a good place to have delicious dinner we came to this place! And we are so happy that we came , the food it was amazing and delicious the service it was very very good the owner was so humble and very generous! Highly recommend, Quality Service

The food here is great but it takes a long time. There’s one person doing the ordering and delivering the food for the entire resturant. We were not given water or cutlery. We were not bothered by it. Same thing happens to a couple of others. Good thing kind and calm people were the customers. Definitely needs to have a waiter and staff to help run the resturant.

I shouldn't post this because I don't want it to get more busy, but the restaurant deserves all the praise. Best Egyptian/Mediterranean style food without the crazy over priced shenanigans. Nice family vibe, great to sit and get out of the office or nice for takeout. Mixed grill is what you want to order.

The two stars are for the guy at the front. He was very welcoming and nice. The 2 sandwiches we ordered were not good. The merguez didn’t taste like merguez. It has absolutely no taste and it was cold and probably spoiled. The felafel sandwich was the same. No taste. Honestly it wasn’t good.

Went inside. The place was not full, but the food was very delicious. We tried 5 different individual pizzas and they were exotic and very good. I'm from Los Angeles and have never tasted pizzas like these. Also everyone was friendly and they had tipical Egyptian music. I do recommend this place. I was skeptical at the beggining because not full but at the end left really happy and satisfied.
I stopped by with my friends and I saw this restaurant in quiet neighborhood with a great location in Brooklyn heights when you pass to the bounce bridge to Brooklyn bridge park. We ordered falafel plate and leg of lamb plate. The pita bread was Buffy that I hadn't seen before. The guys were so nice and professional they gave us a desert was so delicious. Definitely will back again
I have a hospitality background and like to always pay attention to the kitchens of places I frequent. At this place, I ordered something to go and as I was picking up my order, the partition to the kitchen opened and I saw one of the workers rearranging the meat on the plate with his bare hands while he was carrying it to the front while. I wouldn’t take a chance eating there

Tucked away on Hicks St on the north end of the Heights, this middle eastern joint screamed Egypt! The usual middle eastern fare w many vegan options The soups were good, especially Harir though the lentil soup seemed under-seasoned. The beet salad was fine, the tabouli a bit dry and the falafel over-cooked. Service was speedy and the place is kid-friendly.

This Middle Eastern restaurant has been here for a while. The salads are very fresh. The platters are a nice size. I had the chicken kebob plater with bread and humus. It was delicious. Starters are delicious. I had the spinach and cheese pie. And the lentil soup. Both were very good. Service is okay. The prices are very reasonable.

My favorite place for Falafels! Many other Egyptian dishes (and gyros!) and the desserts are also really tasty. Freshness guaranteed, and just a couple of blocks away you can enjoy Statue of Liberty from distance and also Brooklyn Bridge! Owners are awesome, and hooked me up with free tea.
Looks like Tutt Cafe is under new management! Not that it was very bad before but now it's improved. More space for tables, ramp at the entrance for handicapped persons and a very tasty menu. I liked the lamb shawarma and the babaganoush is very nice. Quick service and reasonably priced.
Informal atmosphere, friendly service, great for families with babies and toddlers. They baked fresh pita bread to order, and you can watch it balloon as it is being baked in front of your eyes. Get the five salad sampler with some lentil soup and make sure to try the hibiscus drink.
If you want some some amazing Korean food, make sure you try this place out. The food is that amazing here and the service is one of a kind.

Fried mozzarella sticks tasted awful, must not have changed the oil for a while. salad not even close to the authentic one. And tabouli also not so great. Kafta is dry. Should have guessed it when we saw that nobody is here. But they still had decent rating, strange.
Looking for another spot, we found this place. I think everything was freshly made, and it was delicious. We had the chicken pizza, gyro plate, and ginger tea (one with green tea, one with lemon and honey). Ain't no pictures cuz we were hungry, but trust, great food.
LOVE this place. Ate here a TON when we lived a few blocks away. I really miss it. My kid's first meals were from here. To the comment re: the loose carpet and the sloping sidewalk.... every sidewalk in NYC slopes and that carpet has been loose since 2007, at least.
