Stopped by here today for a Sunday breakfast, TwentySix Cafe is great! They’re currently set up as patio seating only and have a really nice set up in front of the cafe that spans a few storefronts. A lot of effort has clearly been put into the seating area, complete with varied table options and sections that offer different amounts of coverage from the sun. The patio is also covered, making this a great place to stop by rain or shine. We ordered through the doorway of the cafe (which is now operating as the counter) where a nice assortment of baked goods were on display. The cafe was busy but not overwhelmingly so, creating a lively but relaxed atmosphere- this is clearly a well loved spot in the neighborhood. We ordered some bagels (one with Lox and the other just cream cheese) and iced coffees. The bagel selection was solid and the bagels themselves were a great mix of crunch exterior and soft, chewy interior. The bagels were also very well stuffed (sometimes cafes can really skimp on the fillings, which is not the case at TwentySix Cafe) and the coffees were also very tasty. We were served by Naomi who was very friendly and helpful; as more customers lined up and placed orders she had the task of juggling taking orders and passing out the finished food- Naomi did this incredibly efficiently and made it look quite easy. I would definitely suggest this spot to anyone coming through the neighbourhood. While you’re here make sure to walk by the wishing tree (a block north and on the opposite side of the street to the cafe) and continue on to the nearby Irving Park- a lovely way to spend a Sunday morning.
This place is great. Between the good coffee, the friendly vibe, and the excellent food, it's hard not to want to go here all the time. I have 15 coffee shops within walking distance (because: Portland) and this place usually wins out. The hazelnut latte is especially good because instead of the standard pump bottle flavor, they make their own hazelnut paste. The hazelnut tastes 'real' because it is and that always hits real nice. Their donuts come from Delicious Donuts which are the best in town. I can't imagine a better donut than their blueberry cake donut. The Savory Toast is a beautifully simple lunch at a great price. The staff is always friendly and many have been around for some time. For me that's always a great indicator of a good business. As with a lot of other coffee shops, there is a rotating selection of local art on the walls but unlike a lot of other coffee shops, the art is generally very good. Whoever is curating it is doing a good job. The interior is pleasantly and sparsely lit and has the vibe of an old Victorian parlour. The covered outdoor seating in out front is comfy and because they're not on a major street, it's pleasantly quiet and you don't have to worry about breathing exhaust. Definitely one of my favorite places to be in Portland.
i enjoyed this place very much. my parents and i visited this cafe on a wednesday morning. it was very calm and quaint. there were a lot of locals that stopped by and made easy conversation with the baristas. this coffee shop was tucked in a neighborhood area of portland. it wasn’t too busy, but also not desolate. i ordered a plain 12oz latte. the foam on top was super creamy and smooth. very delightful. then for breakfast, i ordered a savory toast. it was an inch thick of dark whole wheat bread, with avocado spread and a sliced hard boiled egg on top. arugula, spicy peppers, and an oily dressing was garnished on top as well. it was very good, although a bit messy. i would have liked it better without the oil, but nonetheless i loved the unique flavor of the peppers. it brought a great zing to it. my mom got a pumpkin spiced latte and a bagel sandwich. i tried her latte and the pumpkin flavor was not too strong. she really enjoyed it, but i would have liked more spice. my mom said that the bagels tasted chewy and homemade too.

I stop in to this little cafe from time to time for coffee and a little sweet treat for my partner and I. The atmosphere is great and welcoming and every time I’m in there, whoever is working behind the counter is attentive and kind. I typically just pick up some lattes and pastries, on occasion I have had their breakfast burritos and everything is always yummy. (: there is plenty of seating past the bar where you order as well as the main lobby and even a nice covered area where folks from the neighborhood meet to chat and catch up. All in all I think this a great spot to come and chat with some great folks and have your little caffeinated treat.

Love the covered, heated, back deck. Wish they had an easier pickup system than just standing around waiting for your order. And they just assumed my order was to go, so I didn’t get offered a plate or utensils. I wanted both. Also, the vegan avo bagel was very vinegary and messy. Hard to eat with no utensils. Tasty once deconstructed! Lastly, I ordered an oatmilk latte and like most places, they burnt my oatmilk. Looks fine, but tastes burnt and emparts a bitterness to an otherwise smooth cup of Joe. Turn the temp on the steamer down for oatmilk if possible. Good otherwise! Thanks!

Got an avocado toast and a matcha! The matcha was well mixed, which is what I always look for, but the avocado toast was okay. The bread was good and it looks like there was a lot of seasoning but it was mostly pepper and lemon zest, barely any salt throughout the whole toast. Was also really disappointed the seating was only outdoor since the website and Google showed indoor seating. No indication or notice on the website that it was only outdoor seating as well, which wasn’t great because it was absolutely pouring that morning and the inside of the cafe looked like a great place to get work done.

We had the great good fortune to spend a week in this neighborhood and check out all the different coffee shops and cool food joints. This is a super fun place for morning coffee especially if you're looking for a place to meet other dog owners. We had the avocado toast and the lox bagel. The food was healthy and yummy. I had an oat milk mocha. Loved how the oat milk actually had substance to it.

Loved this place! super cute & intimate coffee joint. The epitome of Local Coffee Shop. The area is a bit small, so im curious about what a rush would look like here, but later in the day was really peaceful!

WOW. Can’t recommend this spot enough. Service was friendly, vibes were good, outside seating was plentiful and cute. Food was delicious with lots of options! I had a difficult time deciding what I wanted and finally settled for a veggie egg bagel sandwich. It did NOT disappoint. I also grabbed an oat milk latte and a slice of their luscious and perfectly subtly-sweet mulberry cake. Definitely recommend if you’re lookin for something to go or a spot to grab something to sit back & enjoy at their location.
I absolutely fell in love with this place. It is a wonderful place to come and work or do homework. The music was mellow and low enough to not be distracting and people were friendly and respectful. I spent a few hours here working on the covered patio and it was quiet, cosy, and lovely. The avocado toast was good, and the hot chocolate made with Oatly was perfectly foamy, but the atmosphere was the best part.
Cozy spot in a nice tree lined neighborhood. Not a ton of indoor seating, but a good amount of covered seating out front and a lovely covered patio in the back. The rain sounds on the roof are a nice bonus. Tasty drinks, really nice staff, and good bagels!

Great neighborhood spot for high quality grinds and a variety of indoor and outdoor seating options. Staff is consistent, warm and friendly. When there is a crowd it can be a little dicey but worth the wait. TIP YOUR BARISTAS!

The hazelnut latte is amazing; so nutty and creamy. The kids had the "North" herbal tea and can't stop raving about it. The Americano was also delicious. Will be back to try the food :)

TwentySix is cool. The coffee is great. the food is tasty, the prices reasonable. The staff is friendly but not so friendly you won’t earn it. It has heated outdoor, raw outdoor, and indoor seating with cushions . The perfect vibe imo. The wifi is decent enough to review those Q4 OKRs with your manager, you lil wager worker .
This place is amazing the people working here are very friendly… I’m from out of town but I felt welcomed like a neighborhood regular. I feel like looking at the other people here really gives me some insight into the culture of cool looking people in Portland it’s probably not cool to say that but just being real. …
Plenty of outdoor seating. Quiet and relaxing atmosphere. Food was fresh and filling. Visited this little place twice on my weekend excursion in Portland! Enjoyed the vegetarian bagel sandwich and the lavender honey latte with an almond croissant! Will definitely be back in the future!
I set up a coworker informal gathering here and it worked out really well. We had enough room in the lovely back area, which was quiet and warm even though it was a winter day. The coffee was great and honestly even the day old chocolate croissants were pretty damn good! More
This place will continue to be my go to when I visit Portland again. The customer service was warm and so chill! Customer service nowadays has me afraid to ask for anything, but noT this cafe which I’m super grateful for. Thank you guys! More
15 minute wait to order coffee! Saturdays clearly are super busy. Also some dogs running around off leash on the sidewalk (and their owners were nasty when we asked them to please keep their dogs under control)

I've frequented this cafe many times during visits to Portland. It's right around the corner from the place we just lived into. Unfortunately, but understandable...there are no dogs allowed inside. But the other day I came in with my 11
Cosy cute cafe in residential district of east Portland. The menu was simple, but it works. Also, the bagels and quiches were good. I got a huge dollop of cream cheese with my bagel. Definitely returning here when I am in the area.
I don't know what all is on that avocado toast but it is to die for! Yummy coffee drinks as well. Outdoor seating only but they have a nice little covered area on the street.
Best avocado egg arugula pepper toast in the city. Great coffees. Classic donuts.
