I had heard of two men and a truck from a few people around the area when I first moved out here and figured I'd give them a try. I called for a quote and told the woman that it was not much stuff that needed to be moved from my storage unit to my new apartment, my husband just couldn't do it on his own and I can't help lift since I am pregnant. There was no big furniture or over sized items, just boxes and household things from our barracks since we just got out of the military. The job should take about an hour, hour and a half at most and the apartment is 15 minutes down the road from the storage unit. I was quoted around $300 for an hour and a half of work which sounded reasonable because everywhere else I looked online was about the same price. The day of the service the men were a half hour late and then called me to say they were there. My husband and I showed up and they told us they had been waiting there. How were they there but didn't call until a half hour after the scheduled time? They told us they were late because the job before me was expected to take 3 hours but ended up taking 6. I never got a call or email letting me know they'd be late. They unloaded the storage unit pretty fast but stopped to talk and take breaks and hang out, which ended up wasting time. We drove down the road to the apartment and they brought everything in one by one, which took more time. By the time they were done it had been almost 3 hours, at $175 per hour. I had to pay a $300 deposit when i scheduled the service and when we were wrapping everything up at the end, it came to $686! There was a $145 transportation fee, which I was never told about, which seems ridiculous because the move was only 15 minutes away, then there was a $75 "inspection" fee where the two men literally opened my storage unit and stared at the stuff and said yes we can move this. That was what the inspection was. What a rip off. This was also not mentioned when I called for my quote. They also charged for insurance that I did not need but they told me it was mandatory and that was another hidden charge I was unaware of. Highly unsatisfied and feel completely ripped off. To pay almost $700 for a move from a small storage unit of just boxes 15 minutes down the road is ridiculous. If they had told me when I got the quote what all the hidden charges, insurance, inspection fee and transportation fee would have all come out to, I would not have done business with them.

Scheduled move for Flagstaff to Phoenix. Evening before move, I learned they would arrive two hours later than scheduled. No problem, the movers showed up and were very friendly and professional. They did not have the right tools in their truck to disassemble my bed, said they would go get and come back and also take that time off my final bill. Ended up only taking 15-minutes off. They arrived in Phoenix and unloaded, all went well. However, as they assembled the bed, there was damage and color transfer on headboard and side frames. The lead mover said his tablet had an issue and couldn’t submit the damage report. But that he would submit on Monday and I would hear from someone. I received a call on Tuesday but it wasn’t about the damage. It was to ask how they did on the move, I informed that caller that there was damage to my bed and I was suppose to hear from someone within a day. I have let this go for one week and still have not heard from anyone related to the damage. Very disappointed, have used Two Men in the past and I understand that things happen in a moved, BUT they should be professional and deal with it when it does instead of making promises they don’t keep. Most likely won’t use them again for future moves.

I spoke to Alexia over the phone to figure out details. My fiance and I were moving from our apartment to our new house just five minutes down the street. Lots of our furniture really just needed to be brought down our second story apartment. We had already taken apart easy things like our bed and dresser drawers to make it fast, cause most moving companies charge by the hour. I called everyone else, and this company was the ONLY one that charged a minimum for a hour, and then anything above that would be contingent on the hourly rate.When these folks arrived it was one guy and two newer ones. The leader of the three was training the other two but honestly it was incredible to watch. The direction, attention to detail, and quickness of the process really impressed me. I was able to tell himquickly what pieces we wanted them to move, and once they brought it to the house it was easy for them to maneuver in and out of the truck with the leaders direction. We were quoted for two hours but it all took less than 50 minutes. It was easy, cheapest i could find in the valley, and professional. Thank you to your team for the incredible service!

I hired Two Men & A Truck Phoenix to take care of my moving back in June. I had an excellent experience starting from my first phone call and arrival of the crew and how diligently they worked throughout the process. My Upholstery bed got dirty with the move and I contacted the company to let them know about the situation. Mr. JOE BURGAN, (Manager from Two Men & A Truck/Phoenix) contacted me back and arranged for a company to come over and clean the bed for me. My issue got resolved without further delay and the company did an excellent job cleaning it. I could not have been more satisfied with the outcome! I would definitely hire again Two Men and A Truck / Phoenix to take care of any future business. They do have a reputation and make sure their customers are totally satisfied with their service and experience. If you want a company with competitive rates, hard working employees who really care about their customer belongings, then this is the place to call. After a mover I hired from Yelp took my $125 deposit but then canceled on me and then stopped returning my calls, I did what I should have done in the first place and hired Two Men and a Truck. They scheduled my move within a couple days and showed up on time, ready to work. My 3-man crew consisted of Mario (leader), Orlando, and Anthony. Being ex-military I've seen a few movers in my day and Mario was a real pro. The other guys were great too but Mario ran the show and everything was done to his exacting standards. In the end, although their hourly rate was a bit higher than my lame Yelp mover, Mario and his crew finished everything so quickly (and safely) that they had everything done in half the time estimated by the Yelp mover. If there is a next move for me, i'll save myself some headache and just hire Two Men and a Truck!

I highly recommend this moving company. Hiring this company for my moving needs was the best decision I made. The 'handle with care' practice was definitely these movers #1 priority at all times. I have a lot of glass items and not one was broken when unpacked! What spoke volumes to me was the respect they had for each other (I understand in these professions there may be some yelling and cursing, especially when things don't go right; not these guys.) I must mention that the storage facility's alarm activated closing off use to the elevators, my unit was on the 3rd floor! Instead of standing around waiting for something to happen, & my charges increasing, these men were proactive by immediately working their way up the stairwell to the 3rd floor and continued working!! Huge "thank you" to Mario, Orlando and helper!!!

Update: Check Yelp for latest review. Horrible company! Complete disregard for customer and their belongings! Some form of damage on most everything moved. Even scratched walls, scraped corners and gouged baseboards in our new home. A small desk and matching file cabinet were destroyed beyond repair. We had them move about 12 items: couch, a few small pieces of furniture, 2 mattresses (no box-springs), small 5pc dining set, and a few misc. It took them an hour and a half to load, drive and unload and they charged us $400, which was $100 more than quoted. We had everything pulled out, organized and had most items in garage ready to just load. I can't believe these people are even in business!

Carlos and Eduardo were amazing!! However, we were moving from a second to a third floor and they asked for additional help and phoenix crew arrived and they left after 20 minutes leaving them with no additional assistance for the rest of the time. It took them 8 hours when I was quoted 4 hours . I appreciate the management team to accommodate four hours paid instead of 8 hours that was worked . When ppl are moving from a second to a third floor the company should automatically accommodate three men knowing the amount of work it takes for them. Not right.

I have had the opportunity to use Two Men and a Truck for two recent moves. Both times the office staff communicated quickly and professionally upon my request. Two Men and a Truck moving service was the best thing we could have done for our move! We were in between homes - had a month from the close of our sold house to the time we could close on our new purchased home. Two Men and a Truck came in and loaded up our furniture and boxes, took it to their storage facility where they stored it for the month and then loaded it up a month later and brought it to our new home! They made everything super easy, nothing was damaged and they guys were so nice and quick. Certainly not cheap, but worth it.

We had the best experience with our move. I was super impressed with how quick and efficient they were. Furniture was padded and wrapped before moving. At the same time we were having a bed delivered and the movers had noticed the bed people glueing something and they told us immediately so that we would be aware. The bed actually had a broken drawer and a split in the foot board. If they hadn’t noticed that, we may not have known so we are super appreciative of them for everything. These guys were awesome. They showed up on time, had my apartment moved in 45 minutes, and took great care of all of my furniture. They couldn't have made moving into my new house any easier. The whole process only took an hour and a half. My only minor complaint is that they didn't have any masks to wear. Seems like it would be a good idea to have masks on hand if you're going to be around people or in their homes or apartments. Other than that, I would highly recommend these guys for their professionalism and speed.

This was a high stress move due to health issues etc but these men came armed with kindness and professionalism linked together. They were efficient and took care with our belongings. I lived on a 2nd floor apartment. Kevin and Tyvon (sp) were beyond amazing and professional. They were scheduled for 8-9am and called to come at 7:45am. They had the truck loaded within 30 minutes and were very careful with my stuff. When we got to the storage unit, they unloaded everything within 30 minutes and had everything stacked carefully like a tetris game. We hired two men and a truck to move my mom's house to storage. The guys worked so hard non-stop and we're very professional. They packed and moved all the stuff. It was suppose to take about 8 hours max and turned into 14 hours! The guys had a great attitude considering it turned into a move we weren't expecting. I called to have them remove a freezer and extremely heavy coffee table from my house to my backyard. They arrived on time, were polite and ready to work. They had appropriate paperwork and price was as quoted. There was a minimum hour charge even though the move only took about 20 minutes. While I had them here I asked them to also move my sofa across the room. Perfect service...no complaints. Thank you!

They took great care of our stuff. We moved my mother-in-law from Arizona to Michigan. When everyone else was booked they were able to get us into the schedule without breaking the bank. All other companies wanted to charge $13,000 for a 1 bedroom 1 bath trailer, Two men and a truck charged less than half for the move. The guys loaded and unloaded everything with care. Very friendly and knowledgeable staff this location is a little bit of a trick to get to. Due to the fact that there is a traffic island in the middle of the street so you have to go down a block or so to turn around safely. There is plenty of parking though. It can be seen from the street you just have to look for the sign on the window and the building in the strip mall.

Our move was completed in one day from our old location, include a garage & a storage unit. Some stuff was dropped off at our daughter's home, with majority going to our new home. The movers were incredibly efficient, friendly, and so helpful. They moved everything out of my house in less than 30 minutes! I'm using them again for my daughter's move. I'm never moving without them now.

Not recommended..the first thing they picked up they broke. No concern for your items. Took as much time as they could. Did not introduce themselves. They had 5 stars, I have no idea how.? Nope.

Kind of pricey. I shrink wrap all my furniture for a move. They covered my shrink wrap with moving blankets and then shrink wrapped it again. They moved quickly.
