Terrible, terrible store. All they’re after is ripping you off. They changed my rental appointment the last second without asking me and they reduced the appointment duration significantly. After that, they just left me a voice mail with a phone that says disconnected. So I couldn’t even speak to anybody. And of course no apology at all! I spent more than an hour on the phone waiting to speak to someone. Extremely rude and annoying. Then I rushed during the day to bring back the truck and was 50 mins late ( I brought it ten minutes before the next customer ) and they charged me for an extra day of rental, extra day of insurance, extra rental fee of a dolly that I didn’t even use and some other fees. I ended up paying 80 dollars more than the estimate. When I told that I originally rented for 24 hours and everything, they tell me “you should have told that you needed for more”. My booking duration says how much I need it, doesn’t it? And I cannot even find any one of you on the phone. Annoying people. Stay away. There are so many other truck rental companies. They lost a customer by their greed and stupidity. I will make sure everyone I know use a different company such as budget, Home Depot etc.

I’ve had a truly awful experience at this U-Haul. First off, I was stuck in the elevator for building B for an hour. I called the office and nobody answered, I used the call-box inside the broken elevator and nobody came. Eventually I called 911 and after being rescued by the fire department, I was greeted by the general manager, Joi Scott. She seemed extremely upset that I had been stuck inside her broken elevator and complained that she had to come from home to deal with the situation and was asking why I called 911. She told me she’d “make a note on my account” and absolutely nothing came of that. On top of the incredibly rude and inept management, there is an incredibly rude staff at this location. The man at the front desk who I unfortunately dealt with many times was always rude and condescending. The building has very bad security and I’ve seen sketchy people wandering around the premises, the entire complex is poorly maintained. PLEASE choose another uhaul or storage location. This place will overcharge you for unsafe and rude service. Also definitely avoid the elevators!

The facility and unit is clean however driving anything bigger than a 10' truck is difficult because this location is very small with tight corners especially if you happen to drive in on a day where there are unused trucks parked. On move out day, I had movers come to my unit and management gave me and my friend the keys to move the trucks out of the way ourselves. You will not find great customer service at this location. The day I moved in, I was given the wrong storage number by the associate manager, Krystal. She realized her error after I had unpacked 90% of my 10' truck. There was no apology for her mistake but she did point out that "I had enough people to help so it shouldn't take that long". Two weeks later I tried opening the gate with my code which didn't work because Krystal had given me the wrong code. At the time Uhaul sounded like a good option for a short term storage. After my experience I'm hesitant to use Uhaul again but I definitely will not return to this location.

Heartedly people there. Lisa, who knows fingerspelling, is VERY sweet. Professional. Her manager is nowhere near “jerk grumpy supervisor” she’s very sweet lady too. They treat you like humans. They do follow policy and rules Uhaul requires but they do go out of the way to ensure their customers needs meet. They are compassionate. They have third worker who keep the place neatly clean. They are good at make place clean and protective. They show you how often your storage is being watched for safety. Price is so decent. $29 a month personal storage. Just perfect. Good place. Some homeless do come to switch stuff and clothes out. They respectfully do not spend overnight there. They respectfully get in their storage then leave. They keep their area clean! Impressive! Good spot, minutes from downtown, 20 feet from I35 highway, airport blvd (busy intersection) 183 too. Just perfect spot. Stop by In and Out burger on your way in or out!

Not just rude, completely inattentive customer service folks. As in, say something and they act like you don't exist, multiple times. I saw someone come in with a reservation for a storage unit, and when the person said the storage unit wasn't available, she showed no sympathy or anything. Provided no additional info, no suggestions, completely flat. Clearly this person is weighted down by the utter pointlessness and helplessness of her position, and I feel sorry for her. But that doesn't make it any better for the customer. I would have been irate if I were the guy experiencing his issue, but even though he was amazingly calm, she still showed no empathy at all. She honestly put on the face of a sociopath, zero emotion. A robot could have done a better job. And, in the end, I suppose that's what we're going to have anyway, so maybe that's something to look forward to.

Unfortunately reviewing 1 star because I have rented a U-haul trailer two times in the last 3 months, being told that I get 1 month free of storage with each purchase. **This is also marketed on their website** An employee of Uhaul told me that I could stack the 2 free months of storage that I was told I had acquired.... However the manager of this location has deliberately chosen not to uphold their company claims, refusing to give me my second month free. I paid over $300 in trailer costs in just 3 months, so I would have greatly appreciated the rewards they market.. but apparently they DO NOT follow through on their marketing ads so beware. Stingy af, I will not be storing my stuff with uhaul ever again.

Horrible experience. I scheduled for a rental truck Monday and was told it was available for the upcoming Saturday which was my move out date and I had brought movers and scheduled my time around this availability. Literally 15 mins before I pick up the truck I get a call saying it’s no longer available and the closest availability is 50 miles away. You don’t realize the hell that day was and I feel there should have been some preparation for this. All I was told was a person didn’t return a truck and there’s nothing can’t be done. Do not do your service with this company. Moving is a stressful ordeal anyways and this caused a disastrous event for me.

All though I did not rent from this location, the individual I spoke with was willing to listen! She considered my scenario and was willing to accommodate my immediate need to secure belongings that eventually where stolen and I hate having to start over every 30 to 90 days root etymology of "religion" is repeatedly bind as in being a tied up hostage by your hijacked mind to manipulate your ❤! For some gay men is it about parts then ! Inverse the narratives and learn more productive Factual Honesty, brains are just parts! Own your brain don't just hand it over to ideology!

It's convenient, clean, easy to get to. The employees have always been pleasant & helpful. Except for the time I got stuck inside at 9:30 at night! I had 24 hour access, & I got in all right, but couldn't get out! The help button connects you to someone in a different state! That's not helpful! I got disconnected 3x. Was about to call the cops, when I remembered I had a long-handled back-scratcher in the car. By reaching through the gate with it, I was able press the buttons on the exterior control panel, & it let me out. The problem has since been fixed.

My dad made a reservation there they lost our online reservation he didn't want to talk with the head office hq of U-Haul on the phone finally we begged him. Then he gave us a broken U-Haul truck then he gave us a U-Haul truck that was back in by other trucks he never apologized for any inconvenience. I had another friend make a reservation for U-Haul and they didn't honor their word and keep the reservation overall U-Haul are inadequate at what they do people only go their because Austin doesn't have many truck rental places to choose from.

The only reason I give this U-Haul a 3 rating this place is not conducive for a moving vehicle truck and trailer combination I strongly recommend if you are moving your possessions to this facility do so with a smaller vehicles such as a 16ft box truck or something of that nature a lot of riffraff in the area as well but I don't think they've ever bothered the secured U-Haul place definitely not the best U-Haul place only because of the awkward entrance but I am pretty certain it is a secure place to store your

Staff is consistently rude, incompetent, and unavailable. I was locked out of my unit because the elevator was broken, nobody had a key to unlock the stairs, and the manager wouldn’t answer her phone. When I first moved in I was locked out of my unit because they had accidentally left a lock on my door, and the manager was unable to help me because she was “in Corpus Christi with her family”. She made it seem like I was imposing on her for asking her to get my unit, that I was paying for, unlocked.

I received a bogus receipt yesterday for a service I never ordered. I am seriously concerned about the security of U-Haul's data base if my account can be used or accessed by another customer. Thankfully, I had no credit or debit card saved in my account; otherwise I might be fighting a fraudulent charge to my account and have to cancel my credit card. I am preparing to move in a few weeks, but I will look for a different company that provides actual account security for their customers.

I tried to rent a truck from this U-Haul. Laura was not helpful at all and blatantly lied. She told me that all the U-Haul trunks in Central Texas had been rented. A complete lie because I was able to rent a truck from the U-Haul in Bastrop. When I called to tell them that I was able to rent a truck from another U-Haul, they hung up the phone on me. It is clear that they do not care about their customers. If you want helpful, friendly service do not go to this U-Haul.

Today, I arrived to find the elevator out of operation (2 days broken now per staff). No note on doors, just standing open. When we asked, we were told "we can't do anything till they send someone." When we asked how to get a car full of items to the top floor, we were told, " you can use the stairs". Guy was polite, I'll give him that. Everytime we are here somethings broken, truely our worst storage facility experience over 20+ years.

We booked 1 Uhaul & 1 storage unit two weeks in advance, moving from Columbus, Ohio to Austin, Texas. Ended up with a horrible location, our pre-booked unit wasn't available, we had to rent two smaller units at an additional cost, and told we couldn't drop off the truck there (as pre-arranged), then was given several places to drop off their truck or be charged an additional fee. The AC didn't work. Uhaul ain't what it ised to be.

I had an incredibly positive experience with Laura and Joy at this location. Laura was super helpful and made my move-in day a dream. She even joked with my father and me. I made an earlier trip to this location to check it out - my reservation was made online. Joy greeted me and I purchased some boxes from her. Boxes are very reasonably priced at U-Haul! This is a great location! Easy access to both I-35 and Airport Blvd.

Was over charged two days and was very patient for the refund. Never got a call that it taken care of like she said she would like, was only told by the ding bat kid that it was done and would be put in my account in a few days. I told him in a very angry voice I want the manager to call me asap..he hung up. Joy Smith the manager took 5 days, and I still don't believe them that it's done. Watch what they charge you.

Deanna was awesome even when I drove in close to the end of the day and was bringing more than her location could have - she could only accept the truck but not the trailer I had rented. She was kind enough to accept the truck, give my friend directions to the other U-Haul place across the expressway that could take the trailer and called and told them we were on the way. Exceptional service all the way - THANKS!

This is one of the worst storages that I’ve dealt with. When first purchasing my unit I was told that if I purchased their lock if anything were to happen with my key they would be able to pop my lock. Well I lost my keys one night and when calling to inform them of it and telling them I needed my lock popped they told my I would have to contact a locksmith

The drive area is very narrow and U haul trucks are parked EVERYWHERE - which can make difficult to get in and out - especially on weekends when moving activity is high. I find the management to be more concerned with their rental fleet revenue - than catering to their customers who lease units. As a positive, the facility is kept clean.

This place is infested with vagrants who come in every night to sleep and use the facilities. They climb over the fences and gates, enter the climate-controlled storage areas via the unlocked stairwells, and MANAGEMENT DOES ABSOLUTELY NOTHING ABOUT THIS SECURITY ISSUE. It's especially bad during the winter or when it's raining outside.

A word of caution: this is the only U-Haul I've been to so far. But each time I've been here, the check-in and check-out process has been fairly straightforward. Would love if they were faster with their procedures though. But make sure you know the rules (refueling, required documents, etc.) because the staff can be very brusque.

The GM here is crooked she tried to call the police because they gate almost hit my car then after the police state that could nothing be done she emailed a letter stating we had to do something 72 hour we ain't doing nothing because she is the scary one that's why she had to call the laws to play victim.

6 days in storage, thousands in losses. No reasonable expectation of security. Their fences are held up by zip ties, and there are no cameras along I-35. Good luck if you store your stuff here; Go get ‘em if you’re garbage and enjoy stealing other peoples hard-earned awards and personal belongings.

I had a great experience until it became a uhaul truck drop off place. It doesn’t work. There’s no place to park when you take your stuff out. And people are trapped when they have to leAve. You have to go find the persons who’s car is parked and ask them to move it so you can back all the way out.

Every person I’ve spoken with at this location has been extremely customer friendly and helpful. I’ve spoken with Raukisha to set everything up, Lisa helped me a lot with a delivery mix-up and Quincy was fantastic while moving in. Def recommend this team.

Excellent customer service. The hotline as well as the staff/employee MS Nisha were excellent ..helpful and accomodating. In spite of all of the truck issues they gave us a great deal!!!

Unfortunately they told me to cone on by only to not be there. Called 2 numbers and they said they would be there in just a few minutes.... 5 min away.... 40 minutes later finally left!

Employees are pretty efficient. Within 5 mins, we got our vehicle and also returned within minutes. They have nice streamlined procedure. Location was easily seen from far.

Pleasant service, good facilities. Some locker sizes are not quite as large as listed (enough to be a problem if you measured exactly to maximize space).

There's almost no parking. I was charged a number of fees that were not my fault and they said they can't change that in the system.

Waited for 20 min outside, their door was locked in the middle of the day and I saw someone peek outside and didn’t let me in....

Their 24/7 truck share program at this program does not actually work. You'll arrive and have to wait for an employee to show up
