I have been a customer of this location for ~7 years. The service has taken a steep decline recently. I have observed management cutting locks on tenants units and replacing the locks with their own locks. I have seen management lock people out of their units before the 3rd of the month. I often see cars and trucks entering through the exit. I have recently heard of tenants belongings going missing from the INSIDE of units while the locks remain untouched. There is no door alarm for your unit. They do not use or review their cameras. Currently, my unit is locked, even though I have paid my dues. They called the police on me and said I was stealing from another unit, even though I have the key to that unit. I am now trespassed from the property, and if I try to go back they will call the police. I spoke to the regional manager, who stated that he would will have a warrant for my arrest in a few minutes... But I haven't done anything wrong. In the regional managers own words, "It's our property, we can do whatever we want." I would have recommended this place in the past, but I suspect there is something illicit happening here. If something happens at your unit, they will claim ignorance instead of taking responsibility despite their security measures. I am vacating, and I will never again suggest this business to anyone.

The management couple is great. The owner keeps going up on rent prices. Since the 12 years I have been there it has gone up $55 a month!!! I think if a customer is long term, this is too much. Good customers will stay if price is not too high, but I am working on moving my stuff since my long time and regular payments are not appreciated. I am a good customer. Always on time. Management lady can be difficult to work with at times. She charged me a late fee and I should not have been charged. I made the payment, but somehow it was not processed. It was a new payment process, and was human error. She would not believe me, and I am a long term customer! Sad!!!! I moved my things out, because I could not afford the fee anymore. I have to say the manager, Elona, treated me VERY NICELY. I felt bad leaving the unit without cleaning it out, but I guess I have paid for cleanup since I have been there for so many years. She was not upset with me at all. She understood what a traumatic event it was for me at 70 yrs old. Plus my truck driver wrecked turning a sharp corner, which the corner bricks fell off. He was an awful driver. Thank God I bought full insurance on the truck. They will be taken care of. Tip: Make sure your truck driver can make turns!!! Mine lied to me!!!

Rudest people on Earth work here. The bill can only be paid in-person, when late. So if you are out of town or gas or in the hospital fighting cancer they literally will NOT take your money over the phone or internet, just add fees! They also will NOT allow you to move out, they just keep accruing fees on your account. Elona is the only person there who can even hold a decent conversation with customers. I now have to choose between going in-person to pay a bill that i dont even wish to have (& have tried many times to close this out & move out) or getting my cancer treatment. Avoid this place like you would Covid, if you value quality customer service. I wasn't going to post this pic of screws I picked up last time I was there because I was concerned about retaliation... but what are they going to do? Kick me out? Nope, I wish they would. At least I know why I've had so many tire repairs in the last few months.

Only stored our valuables there for one month. We discovered one of our boxes engulfed in termites! Ruined about $300 worth of valuables. Note, that you sign a waiver stating the facility has no insurance coverage, so that backfired on me. But when called the desk to let them know there is an infestation of termites in their unit. She said it wasn’t their problem because of the waiver signed. No apology, no offer to take a look to see if they can resolve the infestation….nothing. She just said I could use her dumpster if I wanted to throw away our damaged valuables. Avoid unit L7 and L8 at all cost!! When removing our items today, oh I realized the pattern of stain concretes of past cardboard boxes that were ruined from other infestations prior to mine. Yeah, they keep renting it out! Avoid this place!

After renting the unit a 10 x 30 for only a few weeks; it was robbed. The lock we bought from the U Stor office was cut off and items were taken. A generator, guns, ammunition, an amplifier and more... The managers are not empathetic and the corporation whom I wrote a letter to basically said not their problem. We called the police, had a report done and it appears to of been an inside job. The managers claim this is the first theft ever and the advertisement that all units are alarmed is an absolute lie. They were not alarmed when we moved in the end of September 2021 but the managers did not bother to tell us that. We feel misled ; false security and cannot trust this company.

Being on disability, i get pd on the 3rd.. my payment being due on the 2nd means i pay an extra $10 a month for rent.., they will not work with me on the payment schedule.. this company will charge extras on xtras once they have your stuff, and today, 10 days late, they have cut off my lock , and are charging an xtra $50 bucks before i can re-enter the premises.. if you are disabled and have a hard time getting around, and no-one around that can help you.. dont go here.. the personnel WILL NOT work with you for any reason.. your property becomes hostage.. this month i will pay , hopefully in the next few days, and i will find somewhere else to store my property....

There was a roof leak that came into our unit. I asked them to get it checked by a roofer twice over the 4 months I was there and they assured me they did. I put a plastic bin under the hole in the ceiling and it was filled with water so either the owners lied to my face or they need to find a new roof repairman. Luckily, the bin caught most of the water and no furniture was damaged. Also found large roaches in our furniture (not out of the ordinary for an outdoor unit, though). Owners were always friendly and have good prices. I just don't appreciate being lied to. I will pay extra and go elsewhere if I ever need a storage unit in the future.

The storage buildings are many years old. The outside building construction is brick and mortar. The interior has galvanized tin on walls and ceilings. I have used two units for nearly a year. The rooms are clean and dry. The staff are very friendly and make you feel welcome. Some areas of the driveway needs to be repaired. The driveway is concrete and over the years tree roots have cracked the concrete and become uneven. The reason I have not moved to a modern physicality is the monthly rental costs $40 more than what I pay now. The driveway in and out and all through the complex are narrow as compared to Atlantic Storage.

What you should expect from a storage site is security for your goods and possessions, availability to check your specific storage space at your convenience, and reasonable prices. U-Stor Self Storage Mandarin does all three. There is round the clock surveillence and monitoring of each unit, 24-hour per day access, and reasonable prices. And, their customer service is both friendly and informative. If you're looking for a storage unit, and U-Stor Mandarin isn't out of your way, I highly recommend checking it before signing with another storage facility.

Not speaking for any other U-Stor facility, the Mandarin (Jacksonville, Florida) business is staffed by attentive people who provide good service, responsive to your questions or concerns. The site is well monitored and secure, and storage space is available in a variety of sizes, at good prices, and , in a variety of sizes, and the units are available 24 hours a day. You literally could not ask for anything more secure or better.

My experience with U-Stor has been great even through the change of management. I have been storing my things there for years and everyone is always so nice and calls me by my name when I come in and always remind me when it's time for my payment so I won't be late. They are very nice and the facility is clean and well lit. I always feel safe when I go in to my unit.

U-Stor Self Storage Mandarin is a friendly, efficient, clean and great place for short term or long term storage. I highly recommend it for anyone who has things they can't find room for in their home. The people there are wonderful and always ready to help with any problem. My goods are safe there and I recommend them to anyone who has a need to stow their stuff.

Extremely satisfied thus far . I have only been a customer for a few months but so far very satisfied with the customer service , cleanliness of the yard and facility . Which is very important to me and I love the real “ old style” brick structure instead of “ steel building “ design like most others out there. I love the foliage and oak tree surrounding also .

I LOVE THIS PLACE!!!! My WHOLE HOUSE.... ALL OF MY BELONGINGS....have been in here for over a year and they work with me every month. 5+yrs w/2 10x20 units. The Onsite Managers (R & L) are just great, friendly, people- Professionally and Personally! Good rates and well Managed facility overall.. Only negative about this property are the Terms' Catastrophic Fees with unreasonable-inflexible grace period for payments.

I have been in different units here for 7 years. Russ and Lona are great! Always remember who I am, even though I hardly ever come into the office. Property is kept up great. Never have any issues with finding critters in my unit.

Very very terrible for 26 feet truck. You must get 16 feet for more safe because keep stuck many time in there. It's too small road.
