Beware of this bank, they give out old bills. I knew something was amiss coz they didn't look like the regular bills, they looked like fake or play money. But since they came from a supposedly reputable bank, I thought they were okay. Turns out no, I tried depositing the cash with Chase and TCF, no they didn't accept it coz it didn't have that metallic strip. Not going back to this bank ever again. Learned my lesson, check your paper bills always. Make sure that they are the regular looking ones.
